They soon found a number of Dodos in some kind of training.
"Protect the Dodo way of life!" A Dodo said.
"Prepare for the Ice Age!" Another Dodo said.
"Ice Age?" Sid frowned.
"I've heard of these crackpots." Diego said.
"Uh... I'm guessing they're not the sharpest beaks on the block." Rainbow said.
The Dodo they met earlier was then seen placing the melon on a stump with 2 other melons. He then saw their shadows and turns and saw them and squawked.
"Intruders!" He yelled.
Close by, a Dodo was teaching 3 other Dodos as they were by a geyser.
"Now don't fall in." He said. "If you do, you will definitely..."
They then turned to the panicked Dodo.
"Intruders!" He yelled running around. "Intru..." He squawked and fell into the geyser.
"Eww." The 3 Dodos cringed.
"Burn and die." The Dodo finished.
The group then went over to them.
"Uh, excuse me." Sora said. "Sorry to interrupt your thing, but, I think you something of ours'."
"Hey, can we have our melon back?" Manfred asked. "Junior's hungry and, uh..."
"No way!" The Dodo said and rushed over. "This is our private stockpile for the Ice Age." He got to the stump. "Subarctic temperatures will force us underground for a million billion years." Other Dodos gathered round.
"So you got 3 melons?" Manfred said.
"You expect to last that long with 3 of them?" Rainbow questioned.
The Dodos turned to the 3 melons.
"If you weren't smart enough to plan ahead, then doom on you." The Dodo said.
"Doom on you." The Dodos chanted approaching them. "Doom on you."
"What are you doing?" Sora asked.
"Get away from me." Manfred said.
"Doom on you." The Dodos chanted.
The Dodo leader stumbled and fell off the melon as it rolled off.
"Oh, no! No!" He cried.
The melon rolls to the baby as he caught it.
"Retrieve the melon!" The lead Dodo ordered. "Tae kwon Dodos, attack!"
"Tae kwon what?" Rainbow frowned.
3 Dodos then karate yelled and land on the ground, and 1 Dodo karate kicks them and another kicks him off as he landed next to the baby. And kicks the melon away, and a Dodo caught it, and tossed it to a few other Dodos as one knocked over the edge of a cliff.
"THE MELON!" He yelled.
"The melon! The melon! The melon! The melon!" A group of 5 Dodos rushed over.
They then fell off the cliff.
"There goes our last female." A Dodo said to another.
Behind them, Sid feels around the stump and his hand lands on a melon.
The Dodos turn to him and quickly rushed over to him as they try to get it. But a Dodo kicks it off as 3 Dodos, Donald and Goofy caught it by the geyser.
"Got it, got it, got it, got it, got it, got it..." They quickly said.
They then lost their grip on the melon as it was tossed up and the 3 Dodos hovered for a moment.
"Don't got it." One of them said.
They then fell into the geyser as well as the melon as Donald and Goofy cringed.
The Dodos gasped. "The last melon!" They all said.
Sid and Sora had the melon but then got nervous and turn to it.
"Uh-oh." Sora said.
The Dodos gathered gobbling as they mobbed Sid.
"MANNY!" Sora yelled running out the Dodos with the melon.
Sora ran as Manfred grabbed him and held him and the melon high as the Dodos tried to reach it. Behind him, 1 Dodo ran into his leg and turns to Manfred's tail, and then leaps up and bites it.
Manfred then yells in pain as the melon as launched high into the air.
Sid and the other Dodos ran after it as they yelled. And the melon bounced on 3 Dodo heads as Sid finally caught it.
But he then saw the Dodos surrounding him on all sides, and turns to the baby behind them. And then Sid charges like a football player and knocks some Dodos out of his way. The Dodos squealed as Sid made his way through the Dodos, and they soon surrounded him as he then leaps over them as the group watched. And Sid lands on the ground and they all cheered as Sid did a victory dance and then slams the melon against the ground as it smashed to pieces.
"Aw, Sid!" Diego angrily said. "Now we gotta find more food!"
"Actually..." Sora said.
They then turn to the baby eating the melon.
They all smiled.
"Right. More to the right." The Dodos chattered. "More to the right."
They watched as 8 Dodos were stacked on top of each other and they watched as the Dodo tower waddles off.
"Hey, look at that." Manfred said. "Dinner and a show."
"Something you don't see everyday." Sora said.
"Left, left, left!" The Dodos yelled.
Then they fell off one by one screaming as they fell over the cliff.
