Later, they were heading across a field of ice as ahead of them Glacier Pass as it wasn't too far now. And Half Peak wasn't too far away as well.

"Well, would you look at that." Manfred said. "The tiger actually did it. There's Half Peak. Next stop, Glacier Pass." He then turns to Diego. "How could I ever have doubted you."

"Won't be too much longer." Twilight said.

"Did you hear that, little fella?" Sid said to the baby. "You're almost home."

The baby coos as Sid suddenly stopped and looked down, his lifts his foot up as it strangely showed a red glow. As well as under his right foot.

"My feet are sweating." Sid said.

"Do we have to get a news flash every time your body does something." Diego inquired.

"He's doing it for attention." Manfred said. "Just ignore him."

"Seriously." Sid said. "My feet are really hot. Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow." He quickly walks off.

And behind him the ice strangely showed a different color as rumbling was heard as they stopped.

"What was that?" Sora asked.

"Tell me that was your stomach." Manfred said to Diego.

"Shh!" Diego shushed.

"What is that?" Sora wondered.

"I'm sure it was just thunder." Sid said catching up to them.

"It's a clear day." Sora said.

"From under... ground?" Sid frowned confusingly.

Then suddenly a hot vent shot out of the ice behind them as they turn to it.

"Run!" Manfred yelled as they ran.

They ran for their lives as more geysers shot through the ice as it cracked. Then sections fell as below them was a flowing river of lava. Then a section of ice bridge fell in front of Diego as he turns to the others as the ice was melting quickly.

"Come on, keep up with me." Sid said running.

However he was running in place.

"I would if you were moving!" Manfred said.

Sid then slipped.

"No way I'm crossing that!" Donald said.

Then Diego leaped over rejoining them as Sora, Donald and Goofy were behind Sid.

"Wow. I wish I could jump like that." Sid said.

"Wish granted." Manfred suddenly said.

"What?" Sora frowned.

Manfred suddenly kicks them as they flew forward screaming. They made it to the other side as they slid and Sid hits the side of a rock.

"Come on! Move faster!" Diego yelled.

"Have you noticed the river of lava?" Manfred inquired.

The lava below continues flowing as then the ice bridge started to thin. Manfred turns to the baby as he held on, and then he leaped over as it broke and fell as they made it across and quickly rushed off.

Diego soon leaps over, but soon struggled trying to climb back up.

Manfred soon saw he was in trouble.

"Hold Pinky!" Manfred said giving the baby to Sid.

Manfred then slowly begins to head over to Diego as a section of the ice ledge broke off. And he slowly nears Diego with his trunk out, he soon near him as Diego reaches a paw out. Then part of the ledge broke off as he fell, but Manfred caught Diego as the ice chunk hits the lava and then shot upward from a geyser.

Soon Manfred threw Diego away from the cliff.

"Whoa!" Diego yelled and hits the ground.

Then suddenly the ledge dropped a bit as Manfred was still on it. Everyone watched as then the ledge broke off and fell along with Manfred.

"Manny!" Sid yelled.

Manfred trumpeted as he fell.

"Oh, no!" Sora cried.

They turn to each other, and then suddenly a geyser shot the ice floe and Manfred high in the air. And they soon fell as Manfred hits the ground hard.

They soon turn to him as he was unconscious.

"Manny, Manny, Manny, you okay?" Sid asked as they rushed over to him. "Come on, come on. Say something. Anything!"

Manfred then mumbled something.

"Huh?" Sora frowned.

"You hit something your rock?" Goofy frowned.

"What? What?" Sid said not catching it. "I can't hear you."

"You're standing on my trunk." Manfred said weakly.

Sid looked down and saw his foot on Manfred's trunk. "Oh." He lifts his foot up as Manfred gasped.

"Oh, you're okay!" Sid beamed. "You're okay!"

"Why did you do that?" Diego asked. "You could've died trying to save me."

"That's what you do in a herd." Manfred said. "You look out for each other."

"Well, thanks." Diego said.

"I don't know about you guys, but we are the weirdest herd I've ever seen." Sid said.

"You'd been surprise of we've been through." Sora said.
