Pokemon Virus Version Chapter 106: Heaven's Lightning! Twilight vs 17!

My name is Twilight. I am 14 years old, and I have been sent from the Heavens to save the world from a greater cause, but that's just about all I know about myself.

I remember nothing before when I first woke up. However, when I DID wake up, the first people I saw were Terra and his crew. They were standing in front of the giant sundial that glistened in the sunset. I've never gotten along with Terra and the gang. I wonder where they are now…

Hmph. Terra, well he's...

I'm pretty sure nobody misses him, with his life force gone and all. Him and his confrontational attitude always clashes with me and my stuck up, brutal honesty. Still, even after all that, as an angel of Heaven, it is my duty to save Terra.

.

Location: 17's Dream World

Twilight's POV

I'm supposed to save my biggest rival, yet I find myself here freefalling with Espurr, a Chikorita, and her mystery trainer named Seth.

The Chikorita seemed so innocent. She was crying as she gave one last look at the Sandstorm and the tentacles of 17 on top of the Grande Opera House.

Whatever Seth was feeling was too hard to make out, but he didn't seem to have anything that could help the situation.

I guess it was my turn to fight now…

It was a simple look Espurr and I gave to each other before we nodded and took action.

Wordlessly, like countless times before, Espurr began to surround herself in a purple sphere of psychic energy. This psychic power was the manipulation of gravity, and it was the cause for Espurr to stop falling. Espurr in my arms, we both floated in the air, above the ground of this 'Valhalla' city.

I looked down to Chikorita and her trainer, "Now time to save them…"

Now was the time to reveal my true power to the people of this dream world…

"Clouds in the sky, make way for Heaven's Light to reach down to me…" I closed my eyes as a familiar, legendary, golden light surrounded me, "Arceus! Father…The Jewel of Life…Please lend me your power!"

My daughter, my creation…I see it is time for you to save the world again. It'll be a convergence between me and my power of life. You and I. Let us be one once more, for the sake of a better world!

Arceus and I have now converged. I was now the Jewel of Life's Angel-God's Medium. With the power of Heaven, I began to feel my entire being, my entire life change. It all started with my back.

I grew angel wings, and the choir from the Heavens was adding dynamic.

My two wings were white, feathery, and huge-about and long as my entire body. My light amethyst colored hair was now golden blonde. My twilight-blue eyes were now periwinkle. My amethyst colored, slim fit t-shirt was now white. My black short shorts were now a mini skirt with frills. My thigh high black stockings remained the same, while I was now wearing knee high, heeled boots. The black cape-like scarf I wore was now a REAL cape that was gold in color.

I am God's Medium!

I opened my eyes. Espurr and I remained in the air; I had my wings, while Espurr remained levitating using her psychic gravity power.

"It's time to finish this," I said, "But first!" I quickly looked down to see Seth still falling, and Chikorita still in his arms.

"Let's get Father Seth," Espurr said.

So Espurr and I rushed after them, and just when Seth was closing in on the cold ground of this Valhalla, I grabbed one of his arms, taking it off a wrapped Chikorita.

Seth looked at me, "Did you really think I was desperate enough to need you help?" His left eye was purple, and he emitted the dark aura ever so slightly. It was then, I guess that he was probably going to use the dark aura to land him softly on the ground.

And here comes my brutal honesty, "As a matter of fact, I did. No offense, but you looked like a damoisel in distress." I answered.

"Hmph." He narrowed his eyes, his left eye returning to normal.

"Don't worry," I said as I placed Seth and Chikorita down on the ground, "If you don't mind though, I'll be fighting 17 now."

"You?" Chikorita asked as Espurr floated next to me.

Seth and Chikorita were looking at me.

"That power you have…it's nothing like I've ever seen before…" Seth said to me. He stared at my wings and my golden blonde hair in wonder, "Who are you?"

I couldn't help but smile as I turned my back and took a couple of steps forward.

I actually got this seemingly emotionless guy to express peaked curiosity…

I looked to see both 17 and the Shadow Tyranitar jumping from the roof, and as I did, I answered to Seth, "I'm Arceus' call to extinguish this dream's darkness. I'll fight 17 now. Would you take care of Tyranitar?"

I expected Seth to be stubborn about taking a back seat, mainly because he's a guy and guys have this thing called 'pride'.

"Sounds like a plan!" Chikorita cheered.

A done deal. The darkness surrounded Tyranitar landed on the Valhalla ground with authority, causing a tremor as Espurr and I took to the air.

Before giving 17 my undivided attention, I gave one last look as Seth who readied multiple Pokeballs. "Mawile. Murkrow. Chandelure."

Seth threw three Pokeballs into the air, releasing a trio to fight against a roaring Tyranitar.

"Mawile!"

"Krow!"

"Luuuurrrrrrr…"

It was capped off with Chikorita, who landed in front of the rest of Seth's pokemon. With power in numbers, Chikorita didn't seem as incompetent as she was in the Grande Opera House.

Seth's left eye turned dark purple again, and he readied the dark aura as he said to Tyranitar, "Let's finish this."

..

This dream's true final battle was upon us-The darkness of Commander 17 versus me: Anistar's Holy Twilight!

As Espurr and I ascended, 17 was Descending. He and I made intense eye contact.

"So it's NOT Seth who's my opponent," 17 said out loud, "Well, if you really want your life force taken first, I'll be more than happy to accommodate!"

He was excited, and the way his tentacles moved made that apparent. Was the positivity of Yumi kicking in? Her life force is strong in 17. Nevertheless, if I wanted to save Yumi, I was going to have to strike now!

I readied a Pokeball, because Espurr and I were going to need any help we can get.

Into the air, I threw the Pokeball, "Bisharp, land the first strike!"

I made sure the Pokeball was thrown at a higher level in the air than where 17 currently was, and out came on of my most powerful pokemon: A Bisharp wearing a black scarf similar to mine. This Bisharp is notorious for being a manslayer-a killer of many men in decades passed. Since waking him from a 20 year frozen slumber, he became my first traveling companion as he now serves me.

From above, Bisharp focused on 17 with narrowed eyes. 17's attention was all on me and Espurr. Maybe he just didn't see Bisharp as a threat? If so, he's underestimating the manslayer.

"Ha!" Bisharp descended at missile-like speed, readied to strike the Commander with his blades that were surrounded in a black aura.

17 took the blindside hit-a 'sucker punch' of a Night Slash attack. I hadn't the chance to gauge his facial expression as Bisharp was driving him down, hoping to drive him into the Valhalla ground.

And Drive him into the ground, Bisharp did. The force of the drive was so great, it…

"Agh ah!" It cracked the ground-the foundation of the floating city itself. And Bisharp didn't stop there. He continued to drive 17 deeper and deeper into the city ground, until he had found 'the light at the end of the tunnel'. There was now a gaping hole that went through the entire city.

Bisharp continued driving 17, still.

There were miles upon miles that distanced the floating Valhalla city from the endless grassy plain below; the plain Espurr and I walked when we first arrived in this dream world.

The endless grassy plain was the limit of how far Bisharp could drive 17, and that was where an exclamation point of a mark was made on the planet.

17 was downed, and his many tentacles didn't move, however, I didn't feel now was the time to stop.

"Espurr!" I called Espurr, for now was our turn.

She and I were still in the air, in the Valhalla city. The gaping hole Bisharp made was just THAT big; big enough for us to have a perfect view of whatever went on in the isolated land below.

Espurr and I both flew through the gaping hole at high speed. We were so fast, I don't think any of the patrolling pokemon saw us going in for the finishing blow.

A stationary 17 was the perfect target practice.

The sphere of psychic, gravitational energy surrounding Espurr grew very strong as she prepared for her very own 'gravity rush' attack.

I began to glow a pure heavenly light, and wordlessly, Espurr and I closed in on 17.

Bisharp leapt out of the way, and Espurr was the first to collide with 17. The lilac feline's gravity power was so great that pieces of the endless plain was ripped from the ground thanks to a quake created by the impact. Those plains looked to be miles long, from how far I was in the air.

The Gravity Rush was a gift of Arceus ad Heavenly power, and now MY power was next.

At the speed of light, and in the wind, I clashed into the Commander as Espurr quickly glided out the way using her gravity power! Another quake followed the one made by Espurr, and THIS time, a great cloud of smoke was created.

Might Seth and Chikorita be feeling the shockwaves from me and my pokemon? I know the Valhalla is a floating city, but shockwaves aren't confined to JUST the ground…

...

Location: Valhalla City

Seth's POV

With Chikorita, Chandelure, Mawile and Murkrow, this was a four on one handicap against Tyranitar. We were confined here within the Sandstorm. Chikorita seemed aggravated, while Chandelure and Murkrow simply tolerated it.

Mawile seemed unaffected, and she was the one leading the charge.

"Mawile, Iron Head!" I called.

The sooner Tyranitar was dealt with, the sooner we could return our attention to Commander 17. Mawile understood that as she charged at the tyrant while cloaked in a silver aura.

"Ngh…" Tyranitar stumbled, but letting up was not an option for me.

"Chandelure, Will-O-Wisp!"

"Luuuurrrrr…." Chandelure complied as he sent a parade of blue flames at Tyranitar.

All I had to do was chip away and Tyranitar would eventually fall over, and Will-O-Wisp was the perfect aid to that cause.

"Raaagh!" Tyranitar was wincing, aggravated by its burn.

"Murkrow!" This provided Murkrow the perfect opportunity to take initiative. Without need of my command, the dark type was able to land a pair of Night Slash attacks.

This left Chikorita…

I gave Chikorita the nod to launch Energy Ball straight up in the air, and we knew the routine by now.

"Chico!" Chikorita swallowed the Energy Ball that fell in her mouth. Her body started to emit a white aura while thee leaf on her head started to glow a bluish-green electrical energy. "Chico!" She smiled, as she was radiating confidence.

This was Chikorita's newfound power again.

Location: 17's Dream World-The Endless Grassy Plains

Twilight's POV

Espurr and I were floating in the air. We stood right above Bisharp, who stood on the dirt-the end result of what happened to the grassy plain after our assault. Together, we all waited for the smoke to clear, and we waited to see if 17 was able to get up.

"This isn't over…" Bisharp said in his calm, deep voice as his black scarf blew in the wind.

Espurr nodded, "This is only the beginning."

Finally, the smoke began to clear, and as it did…

Red eyes and black sclera became visible. I didn't know what to say. While I wasn't surprised, I also WAS surprised. Commander 17 survived my heavenly assault, Bisharp's drive, AND Espurr's Gravity Rush.

The smoke was completely clear, and 17 decided to address us. "I take it this is your first time fighting a Neo Snagem Commander," he took a step closer, "There were a couple of other Commanders here in this tournament. I have their life forces now. Let me show you the power of Commander 10!"

If I remember correctly, a cloaked man who went by the name of 10 was in this tournament earlier.

Espurr, Bisharp and I were weary when Commander 17 started to glow the aura of darkness reminiscent of the one Seth had.

17's tentacles grew restless as he started to direct the aura. The aura of darkness split into two separate streams, and they were as fast as a high speed train on full throttle.

"Mind Crush!" 17 said out loud.

Those streams of darkness looked dangerous. Espurr, Bisharp and I had to be careful not to let the darkness touch us.

One stream of darkness was directed squarely at me, giving me the impression that 17 would've think Espurr and Bisharp could be a threat should I fall. My wings worked hard as I maneuvered around and away from the darkness at about the rate of my heartbeat, which is of course high thanks to the adrenaline of this battle.

My effort was so great, I was only given a fraction of a second to gauge the second dark stream in its pursuit of Espur and Bisharp. Espurr was very fast and agile, using her psychic gravity power to move at the speed of a Ninjask.

"Hmph. Ha!" Meanwhile, Bisharp was confined to the ground. While he was one of, if not my most powerful pokemon, he wasn't as fast as Espurr. Nothing against Bisharp, Espurr was just Acreus' vanguard. "Ha ah!" Bisharp was still agile, evading the darkness. He was surprised though.

By who?

A 17 who sent one of his tentacles to trip Bisharp, and it worked.

Bisharp was on the ground, and hadn't the reaction time to get up and avoid the stream of darkness closing in on him. Bisharp was a sitting Psyduck!

"Bisharp!" I guess his predicament left me no choice.

I took out a Pokeball. Was I ready to recall Bisharp? No. It was time for a compliment of Bisharp to save him.

"Go!" I threw the Pokeball in Bisharp's direction, hoping to shave a few second off by having his aid appear closer to him

"Ooohhh11" Appearing on the dirt was none other than the mystic Gogoat-A leader who is to me what Sleipnir is to Odin.

Gogoat was quick to act. He quickly rushed t Bisharp and got him away from the dark stream's path.

"Oh?" Bisharp the manslayer had not yet taken these last few seconds, and therefore had no clue why he was riding on Gogoat.

While I continued to maneuver around my own stream, Gogoat was enough to flat out outrun his. This speed, Gogat has attained from carrying me, Bisharp, and everyone else on our journey.

In fact, Gogoat and Bisharp were compliments to each other. With momentum, Gogoat was now headed straight for 17, jumping over the tentacles sent to try and trip him. "Hm!" Simultaneously, Bisharp prepared a Night Slash. He narrowed his eyes on his target: 17. And to ally Gogoat, he screamed, "CHARGE!"

Bisharp rode his 'Pegasus' as his black scarf blew in the wind.

17 gasped, and in a panic, he threw another tentacle at Gogoat.

"Oh?! Oomp?!" This time, 17 was successful in tripping up a Gogoat who fell to the ground. And as he fell, Bisharp leapt from his back and high up into the air.

Bisharp's eyes were still on 17 as he fell, torpedoing the Commander into the ground one more time.

Hmph. This had 'one-sided affair' written all over it. It was kind of disguised at first, but now it's become clear to us that 17 is no match for Heaven's power.

How did I know this?

…Knocked out of 17's body, were the six life forces of the defeated.

"The life forces!" I quickly collected each and every life force, one by one while avoiding the stream of darkness at the turn of every second.

Yumi.

Dustin.

Commander 10.

Chapel.

Commmander 24.

And Terra…

"With 10's life force with me now…"

I knew it! With 10's life force no longer with 17, that Mind Crush was null and void! In fact, this is the first time 17 has been without control of ANY of the life forces.

"17 is vulnerable now, which mean we can finish this," I said to myself.

17 struggled to his feet. Without the life forces, his tentacles were nowhere near as powerful as before.

I turned to Espurr and quickly gave her a command, "Espurr, end this now!"

It was like in our battle with Yumi and Braixen, Espurr's finishing move. The purple sphere of energy surrounding her grew stronger. And before you knew, Espurr was surrounded by many pointed pillars.

"What?" 17 gasped.

These pillars that were controlled by Espurr were bigger, deadlier, and more numerous than when used against Braixen. This is because 17 was a genuine enemy of pure darkness that needed to be stopped.

17 tried to move, but her was suddenly whipped back.

"Sharp!" Bisharp had 17 in his grip, using none other than the black scarf he wears as an accessory!

There was nowhere for 17 to move now. The normally expressionless face of Espurr changed into one of intense determination only found when victory was at hand.

That intense determination was poured into every single pillar launched at 17. There had to be at least 50 pillars of gravitational energy. Espurr simply had THAT much power given to by Arceus himself.

Bisharp released 17, quickly hopping on Gogoat, who made a quick getaway from the numerous pillars making their impact.

If Braixen was defeated by just four pillars, then 17 had no chance. Every pillar hit their target, and with each hit came a cloud of smoke fitting for an atomic bomb.

Gogoat and Bisharp watched wordlessly, as did I as I softly landed right next to them. A stare of awe was not on our faces, but that's what comes with saving the world on more than one occasion.

The light of Arceus and Heaven stung 17, and it became apparent once the very last pillar finally hit him.

After the final explosion, Espurr floated down right in front of a 17 who stood as motionless as the lifeless dolls he burned in the Grande Opera House. Steam was coming from the stings on his body.

"It's over," Espurr said to 17.

As 17 slowly fell to his knees, I flapped my wings as I approached him. I stood next to Espurr as I said, "Espurr's right." Bisharp and Gogoat made their way next to me, "Heaven's light has extinguished the darkness inside you." Almost, but not all of it.

Arceus once told me that people with even the slightest hint of darkness in their heart don't get to join him in Heaven…

Will 17's final fate be what becomes of Seth someday? Maybe, maybe not. Despite having an embodiment of pure darkness in him, he seems to keep good company. Yumi and Chikorita compliment Seth because they're such a contrast to what he is.

"17…He's now going to the place where I've sent many people and pokemon in my days as a manslayer…" Bisharp said calmly. He wrapped his scarf back around his neck as it blew in the wind.

Bisharp's conclusion: Commander 17 was eliminated, and without even saying goodbye…

This dream world no longer had its creator. We were so far away from the Grande Opera House that the loud and fine orchestra could no longer be heard. Even if we WERE back up in the Valhalla city, I'm pretty sure the tunes of the orchestra would be long gone.

Dirt covered the grassy plains in clumps. Brown and green…put them together with the whitish teal sky and the Valhalla floating in it, and you've got an Autumn-like atmosphere that felt empty…This place was as 17 as I saw his life force come out. Unlike the other six life forces I held, I bothered with 17's not. We all allowed for it to make its slow way to the sky. We knew this path: From the plains, to the sky, to space and above, and finally, to face Arceus and the Gates of Heaven. Shame, Arceus will deny him. I only pity the Commander because he's probably no older than ten years old.

That's just the way it is when you elect darkness over light. When 17's turned away, he'll descend down into the place that isn't Heaven, and while he's doing that, I'll continue to live as a disciple of Arceus and the Heavens.

Seth's POV

The conclusion of this battle was now.

"Rrr…" This Tyranitar was formidable, having taken on Mawile, Murkrow, Chandelure, and Chikorita. However, now he gritted his teeth as he stood on one knee.

"Chikorita!" I called.

The finishing move awaits, and Chikorita was already in her newfound power form. "Yes…" Chikorita gave me a nod. She was all ears, and Mawile, Murkrow, and Chandelure had to do was watch and wait for the end result.

"Finish this with one last Energy Ball."

Chikorita and I have been on a little win streak as of late, so I felt the need to keep our momentum going by having her deal the finishing move.

Powered up by her newfound power, Chikorita launched a big and bright Energy Ball at Tyranitar.

"Gaaagh!" Tyranitar was facing a handicap, he was dealing with a lingering burn, and finally, he was hit with the finishing blow.

Put out of his misery, the Shadow Tyranitar fell to the ground, where he remained unconscious.

"Hehe, I did it!" Chikorita smiled.

"WE did it." Mawile corrected as Murkrow came to rest on her head.

This battle was not over yet. There was still one thing I needed to do. With everyone having done their job, I wasted no time putting on my Snag Machine and taking out a Pokeball.

It was time for me to recapture what was now a fully evolved Tyranitar.

"Go…" I said calmly as I tossed the Pokeball.

The Pokeball passed a floating Chandelure, a standing Chikorita, Mawile, and a Murkrow roosting on Mawile's maw. This Pokeball hit Tyranitar, and as it opened, it was as if a claw reached out and grabbed the Shadow Pokemon, forcing him inside. The Pokeball fell to the ground, and there it rolled.

Once.

Twice.

Three times.

Click!

The Pokeball clicked shut, indicating that Tyranitar was once again mine.

"That's it! Tyranitar just got caught!" Mawile cheered.

Normally, it was me either me or a cheery Chikorita who went to get the Pokeball. This time though, even though Chikorita dealt the finishing blow, it was 'Team Leader Mawile' to pick it up.

Murkrow still perched on her head, Mawile came to deliver Tyranitar to me. A smile was on her face.

"It's been a long time since we've battled together!" Mawile said as she held out the Pokeball.

I wordlessly took the Pokeball. Mawile wasn't off put by this. She wasn't like Chikorita or Rose. She knew I had a sense of gratitude. Oh, and she's pretty much guaranteed a spot in the upcoming gym battle.

"Tyranitar, is mine." I uttered.

"Seth!"

"Huh?" A voice called, and it was coming from the top of the Grande Opera House we were on earlier.

"Who is she?" Mawile asked as she and the rest of us looked to see Twilight. She was holding the dolls of the six defeated in her arms.

Espurr was standing next to her, and she held the life forces in the air using her psychic power.

"So…" Chikorita started thinking out loud.

I finished her thought, "She defeated 17." I closed my eyes as I thought to myself that Twilight was VERY POWERUL. She could help us bring an end to the evil organization…

Twilight gave me a smile, and then eyed the six dolls she was holding. To Espurr, Twilight said as she tossed the dolls in the air, "Alright Espurr, you ready?!"

Espurr, using her psychic power, immediately rushed each and every life force into their respective doll.

"What's going on now?" Chikorita asked as the six dolls began to glow.

Each doll remained afloat, and a few seconds passed before I answered Chikorita's question.

"The six defeated are coming back to life.

It was bittersweet when the dolls began to retake their human forms. I wasn't fond of seeing Commanders 10 and 24(though 24 is already eliminated).

10 gave me a quick glance and smirked as he used his dark aura to disappear into the shadows. Perhaps he's just he first to wake up…We'll battle again someday, 10…

Meanwhile, 24 and a revived Dustin both appeared to be heading back down through the gaping hole in the Grande Opera House. Those two weren't seen afterwards.

"Oh. My. Gosh!" Next up was Yumi. I could hear her voice clearly, all the way from the Valhalla ground. She had grabbed Espurr and began hugging her.

Twilight giggled. Yumi was so lively, it was comedic.

"What are you laughing about, chicken wuss?" Twilight stopped giggling once Terra crashed her party.

There was NOTHING funny about Twilight and Terra's rivalry. Not even the destruction of the world will stop those two, from what I've observed.

"If you're expecting a 'thank you' of sorts, drop dead first," Terra said.

"Weird, I don't remember telling you that I'm expecting a 'thank you'. Wait, YOU'RE just an idiot. And by the way, did you forget when you LITERALLY dropped dead on stage ass a doll?"

"That could've been you." Terra replied with a scowl, "I'm no fool. I'm more than capable of destroying the mysterious boy myself."

"I'm well aware of that," Twilight agreed.

The last doll to return to human form was Chapel. With Yumi preoccupied, and Terra clashing with Twilight, it was as if Chapel was sort of left out.

"Seth…" Chapel looked at me with soft eyes as the breeze slightly brushed against her maroon bangs. What was she thinking?

"HEY CHAPEL!" Who else could it have been to break Chapel from her mellow mood? It was Yumi, and she was more than happy to introduce Chapel to Espurr for the very first time, "I'd like for you to meet little Espurr here! Hehe…We don't have much longer to play with her…"

And Yumi was right, for the dream could end at any moment now.

Chapel wasn't like me. When Espurr took a step toward her, Chapel adopted an altruistic smile as she knelt down to pat the feline's head. Espurr purred. "Lovely to meet you, sweetie!" Chapel cheered. She was really showing off a different side of her… "You're so cute, Espurr!"

"I suppose girls will still be girls." I concluded about Chapel.

And speaking of girls…

"Seth!" What Yumi did next would be what I'd consider reckless and idiotic, "Haha, catch me, Seth!"

"Good Arceus almighty!" Twilight yelped, and she had every reason to because…

"Hahaha!" That moron. Yumi hopped off the roof of the Grande Opera House, and she was expecting me to catch her!

Chikorita panicked, while I went wide eyed.

"Hahaha!"

I didn't know what to do. I just stood there and watched Yumi freefall…until she closed in on me.

How she did it was beyond me, but Yumi wrapped her arms around my neck. Her momentum caused me to unintentionally spin her around, and then land her softly on the ground as she hugged me.

"Aww!" Chikorita and Mawile cooed

"You idiot!" I scolded, "What were you thinking?"

"I was thinking that you'd catch me!" Yumi answered with a smile, "But really? It's just a result of my match with Twilight. Braixen nearly getting knocked over the edge of my dream citadel really desensitized me when it comes to heights!"

And so this is how the dream ends. Right now, everyone's very sappy, but soon morning will come.

.

Twilight and Seth, a parting…

As we were being pulled back into our respective realities, our voices became distant, and began to echo.

"Twilight…you're strong. VERY strong…Will we ever meet again?" I asked.

Twilight's echo of a giggle, 'That depends on it the Heavens will allow it. Once again, you flatter me. Why do you ask?'

My reply… "Team Neo Snagem. You'd be a perfect aid in their destruction."

"Who knows? Maybe it'll happen someday…" Twilight's reply. She then shifted the subject in a different direction, "…Maybe you could meet me in MY reality. I'd like for us to have the battle we never got to follow through on…"

What followed was a bit of an awkward silence. After a few seconds…

"So, um, I guess I'll be seeing you," Twilight said.

"Likewise." Seth replied.

And with that, the echoes faded all the way into obscurity. Twilight was back in her world, and Seth was back in his.

The dream has ended, and it's time for you to wake up now…

To Be Continued…

Author's Note: Alright guys, so here it is: the last chapter before I ship to Boot Camp. The ending is rushed because I wrote it JUST LAST NIGHT, and I fly out in a few hours. Chicago is going to be COLD, coming from Southern California. But hey, 'Nothing great is achieved without sacrifice'. Like I said, when I get back in January, I'll be recharged and better Chapters will be in store for Virus Version.

Oh, and about Commanders 10 and 24. The reason Twilight returned their life forces is simple: As Heaven's disciple, she is tasked with saving people from the forces of darkness, regardless of whether or not those people are darkness themselves. It's a principal.

The 'fluff' at the end of the chapter was just me savoring the moment before I go lol. That's just how much trust Yumi puts into Seth!
