The forest was silent as the night slowly wore on. Not a soul or sound was heard all throughout the clearing.
Then, without warning, a object went hurtling through the clearing, smashing through several trees and then carving a large gorge through the ground until it came to a stop about a hundred feet from where it first hit the ground.
After a few moments, the smoke cleared and the object was revealed to be in fact a human being.
The person was a male, appeared to be 16 years of age, around 5 foot 3 inches tall, had spiky salmon colored hair, a white scarf wrapped around his neck that appeared to be made of scales, there was a red tattoo of a creature with wings and a tail on his right shoulder plain for all to see and he was currently covered in wounds.
This is Natsu Dragneel, son of the Fire Dragon King Igneel and member of the Strongest guild in Fiore, Fairy Tail.
Natsu groaned for a few seconds before he started to move once more, opening his obsidian colored eyes and then closing them as he winced in pain when he tried to move.
After a minute, he opened his eyes once more and then slowly started to move.
The more he moved, the more the man appeared to be in pain, as he was soon gasping for air and his hands started to shake.
It was understandable, his injuries were extremely apparent. His right arm was most certainly broken, his left eye was covered in blood from the massive gash on his forehead, his right side was covered in scratches and gashes from impacting all those trees and then smashing into the ground with enough force to tear up the ground.
The fact that Natsu was even still alive after such a fall showed just how resilient he was.
He pulled himself into a siting position and then said, "Man, that was a painful. I am going to kill that demon bastard next time I see him."
He then stood up, albeit with a lot of wincing and then said, "Now, all I got to do is go find him."
Just as he was about to leave, something caught his eye.
At the very edge of the clearing, hidden by dense foliage, something was shining.
Curiosity taking over his limited attention span, the man started walking towards whatever was hidden in the foliage.
Once he was there, the man took a deep breathe and then roared out, "Fire Dragon's Roar!"
A jet of orange flame came roaring forth from the man's mouth, enveloping a large amount of the foliage, destroying in seconds.
After a few seconds, the jet of flames died down and soon what the foliage was hiding was revealed to the world after an unknown amount of years.
There was a massive stone slab, easily ten feet wide by ten feet long by three feet tall, but that wasn't the interesting part. The interesting part was what was lodged into the stone.
A single sword was stabbed into the stone, right smack dab in the middle of the rock.
The sword was beautiful. The blade was darkest black, with slight silver edging. The guard of the sword was thick and wide, had a large dark blue four sided jewel in the middle while being colored silver for the main color, black along the edges, with a few specks of gold in between parts. The grip was basic, about a 14 long and wrapped in thick black leather. The pommel was anything, but basic.
The pommel was shaped like a dragon. The dragon had a short neck, six pair of eyes that seemed to glow blood red and had two large bat like wing going behind it's shoulder's. The dragon was colored dark blue all over it's body.
The moment the man saw the sword, he felt a pull. He needed to hold that sword for some strange, unknown reason.
Natsu walked over the stone and then reached out and grasped the handle with his left hand.
The moment his hand touched the handle, the dragon's six eye's blazed, six orbs of blood red as the sword itself started to glow light blue.
His eyes widened in shock and then started to glow light blue as well.
His body went stiff and then stopped moving.
If one were to wave their hand in front of his face, they would receive no reply, for the his mind was too busy to hear anything now.
Within his mind...
Natsu opened his eyes and saw that he was surrounded by a large amount of fire.
He then heard something, the sound of heavy breathing.
Natsu turned and saw something he hadn't seen in over seven years.
He saw a dragon.
The dragon standing before him looked exactly like the one he saw on the pommel of the sword. The dragon was massive, easily over 150 feet in length. It had a short neck, six blood red eyes that had a four sided star slit in the middle, two giant bat-like wings on his back, dark blue scales all over his body with several patches of golden scales on his knees, elbows, and joints. He had two massive horns that went behind his head, his tail was massive, as was his arms and legs, implying this dragon had a enormous amount of strength, and finally, along the dragon's underside was silver scales.
The dragon stared at Natsu for a few moments, those six blood red eyes seemingly staring into Natsu's soul.
Natsu however was not scared. He had grown up with Igneel, who was about the same size as this dragon.
After what seemed like forever, the dragon finally spoke.
"So, you are the one who finally found the blade." The dragon said in a dark and deep voice that seemed more demonic then dragonic.
Natsu remained silent, something that was very odd for him. Normally he would have been shouting out for the dragon to tell him where Igneel was, but something inside of him told him to shut his mouth. He just knew that yelling at this dragon or talking out of term with this dragon was something that would not end well for him.
The dragon continued to study Natsu, searching for something with those blood red eyes.
Eventually, the dragon closed his eyes and said, "It seems the blade has found a worthy wielder."
The dragon opened his eyes again and then said, "Do you know who I am?"
Natsu shook his head no and then said, "Sorry, but you don't match any of the dragon Igneel described."
The dragon shook his head as if exasperated and then said, "My name is Tyrant and I am the Evolutionary Dragon."
Natsu cocked his head to the side, confused and asked, "Evolutionary?"
Tyrant nodded and then said, "When I had a physical form, my power was not to use lightning, or earth or fire, but to adapt to any situation and any element used against me. I started life out as the weakest dragon ever to be born, and yet over time, I grew in strength and battle prowess."
As Tyrant spoke, images appeared from the flames.
One image showed a tiny Tyrant hatching from his egg. Another image showed Tyrant as a young dragon fighting against other dragons and losing badly. Several other images showed Tyrant training his powers up and growing stronger as he defeated more and more enemies and soon surpassed the other dragon's in strength.
"However, no matter how much I trainer, there was one dragon I could never beat. His name, was Igneel." Tyrant continued on, this time images of Tyrant's and Igneel's many battles were shown.
True to the dragon's words, no matter how many times Tyrant challenged Igneel, Tyrant never won.
"However, despite my many loses against Igneel, I grew to respect the mighty dragon king and we became best friends for many years." Tyrant said as more images appeared, showing Igneel and Tyrant hunting together, laughing together and flying together.
"However, my time among the living was cut short during the Dragon Civil War. It was in that war that Dragon Slayer's first appeared and among them, was one called Acnologia." Tyrant said, his voice becoming hateful and resentful.
Images of a mountain of dead dragon's appeared and at the very top of it was a man. He was tall, about 6 foot, 2 inches, had long spiky light blue hair, had a slightly dark tan, blue tribal tattoo's all over his body.
"Acnologia slayed more dragon then anyone else in history and soon became drunk on the taste of dragon blood, so eventually, he challenged me to a duel. I in my prideful arrogance accepted and fought the man." Tyrant said, as new images appeared.
The images showed the battle between Tyrant and Acnologia. Tyrant was firing out a stream of dark blue fire, while Acnologia was deflecting the streams of flames with his hands and then shooting out beams of light blue energy.
"Hey Tyrant. You said you couldn't use fire, and yet in those images you are, what gives?" Natsu asked, confused.
"I never said a couldn't, I just said my true power was to adapt. Once I see a type of magic, usually I can alter my scales so that magic is useless against me and I learned how to use fire because Igneel taught me. My flames were never quiet as dangerous as his, but mine were not to be underestimated." Tyrant explained.
Natsu nodded and continued to look at the fight. The more the fight went on, the clearer it became that Tyrant was losing. Acnologia's blast's were actually punching straight through Tyrant's scales and Tyrant's blows, although powerful, he just couldn't get that fatal blow he needed to kill Acnologia.
"Hey Tyrant, how come Acnologia's blows are hurting younger you?" Natsu asked.
"Acnologia wielded the power of Chaos Dragon Slayer magic. Chaos Dragon Slayer magic is the strongest form of Dragon Slayer magic, because is uses regular Dragon Slayer magic and then super charges it into pure beams of raw destruction. This comes at the cost that Chaos Dragon Slayer magic causes the user to go insane from using it and also Chaos Dragon Slayer magic is the hardest magic in existence to master and can kill the user if they are not prepared. Thankfully, Acnologia is the only user of this magic, but he is without a doubt one of the greatest dangers to our world." Tyrant said.
The two watched on in silence as the younger Tyrant continued to fight, but eventually Acnologia blasted a certain part of his back and paralyzed the mighty dragon.
Tyrant fell to the ground and didn't move as Acnologia walked up to the dragon's face.
The two stared at each other for a while before Acnologia walked away.
Then, several hundred foot solider came in and began to move Tyrant's immobile body.
"Hey Tyrant, who are those guys and what are they doing to your body?" Natsu asked.
Tyrant said nothing and continued to watch the images.
Natsu got the memo and shut his mouth and watched as well.
The images showed younger Tyrant being taken to a castle and then moved underground into a massive laboratory.
The next few images showed dozens of human's tearing Tyrant apart and using his body for experiments.
Natsu was horrified at what he saw, this was torture of the extreme. Tyrant still lived in these images and yet these men and women didn't seem to car for the amount of pain Tyrant was going through, despite all that he had done for them.
Eventually, the images changed to show that Tyrant's body had been all used up and in it's place was a familiar looking sword.
"The humans here were working underneath the orders of the King at the time. He wanted a weapon that could allow a regular soldier to fight at the same level that Acnologia and the other Dragon Slayers could if the need for their execution ever occurred. I was the second strongest dragon at the time and so I became the prime candidate for the experiment. They tore my body apart and used it for their experiments until they eventually developed the sword you see." Tyrant said in a resentful tone.
A man walked over to the sword and then yelled out something Natsu couldn't hear, but the sword apparently didn't like him, because red energy erupted from the sword and devoured the man and killed him, sending the sword clattering to the ground.
"I however, still lived. They had tried their hardest to kill me, but my spirit survived inside the blade and I could not be removed and I never allowed anyone to wield the sword, until he came." Tyrant said, his tone changing into one of remembrance.
"Who?" Natsu asked.
Tyrant said nothing and continued to watch the images.
Natsu looked back at the images and saw a new man picking up the sword.
He was a large man, had massive muscles, his dark brown hair being done up in a pompadour, he had several green pieces of armor on his body and finally, his dark blue eyes showed incredible levels of strength, yet at the same time kindness.
The man yelled out something Natsu again couldn't hear and yet this time the jewel glowed blue instead of red and instead of killing him, the sword glowed blue and soon the man did as well and then the image cut off.
"That man's man was Bulat and he is the only one in history who I found worthy of wielding my sword. His deep levels of inner strength, coupled together with his incredible will power and resolve to do good, allowed him to wield the sword. I talked to him and eventually, we became good friends. But, he eventually died the same way I did. Fighting Acnologia." Tyrant said as his voice became angry.
The images changed to show a field of fire, with Acnologia in the center fighting something inside the flames.
Every time whatever was inside the flames tried to attack Acnologia, Acnologia countered.
Eventually, Acnologia shot a beam out from his mouth and shot through whatever he was attacking.
The flames exploded, revealing a dying Bulat lying on the ground, with the sword in his right hand.
Bulat then threw the sword with incredible strength away from the battle.
Bulat then fell onto his back, the blood loss doing him in and the man gave his last breathe.
Acnologia looked at the fallen man for a few seconds and then placed both of Bulat's hands over his chest and the gave then man a nod, a symbol of respect from one warrior to another.
Acnologia then left, leaving the body of the fallen warrior where he fell.
The image changed to show the sword falling through the sky until it eventually smashed into the rock where Natsu found it.
There the sword stood for hundred's of years until eventually Natsu found it.
The images stopped coming and then silence reigned over the world.
"You now know the story of how the sword came to be. Now, what do you plan on doing?" Tyrant asked.
"I am going to go and keep my friends safe. They are out there fighting Lullaby, a Demon created by Zeref. I need to help them." Natsu said, determination to help his friends clearly written in his voice.
Tyrant stared at Natsu for a few seconds and then said, "Very well."
"Natsu Dragneel, Son of Igneel, if you wish for the power to help your friends, show me your determination! Let me hear you roar with all the depths of your convictions! Shout out the name of the sword and forever shall the blade head your will!" Tyrant roared out as the flames grew hotter and hotter.
Natsu was stunned by the request, but he steeled his revolves and then he took a deep breath as a single word came to his mind and without thinking, he roared out with all his might, saying that one single word that changed the fate of the world.
"RAGNAROK!"
The world surrounding him glowed bright blue as the flames surrounding him changed from regular orange flames into dark blue flames that burned so hot even Natsu could feel their heat.
Before his vision turned to white, all Natsu could hear was a familiar voice saying, "Go forth my son. Show them who you are."
Natsu's eye's widened and he said a single word, quiet as the wind, but Tyrant heard him, "Igneel."
Natsu then disappeared and Tyrant turned to his right and said, "You can come out now."
A few seconds later, a massive blood red dragon of equal size came out of the black and landed close to Tyrant.
This dragon had blood red scales, with beige scales going along his underside, two massive bad like wings, yellow eyes, a large horn on his nose, and finally, an x scar on the right side of his face.
This was Natsu's father, Igneel, the dragon Natsu has been looking for the past 7 years.
"You know, you should have shown yourself to the boy and explained what is happening and why you left Igneel." Tyrant said to his old friend.
"Perhaps I should have. But, I think it best that the boy grow up on his own. He will one day surpass me in strength, but he needs to do it on his own." Igneel said.
"I shall defer to your wisdom for now old friend. But, should the need arise, I shall do what I have to." Tyrant said.
Igneel nodded and then said, "Let's go see how far Natsu rises with the power of Ragnarok at his command."
Tyrant nodded and the two dragon king's turned and watched as Natsu unleashed the power of the sword.
Meanwhile...
Lucy Heartfilia decided that today was without a doubt, the worst day of her life.
First, she had to go and take on the Dark Guild Eisenwald, something she was totally not ready to do. Then she and her team mates had their car stolen and had to hike all the way to Clover. Finally, the Demon Lullaby had arisen from his flute form and was currently on a rampage, having destroyed the Guild Master meeting building and was now threatening the safety of everyone in Clover.
At first Lullaby had been easily fought by Natsu, Gray and Erza, however suddenly Lullaby lashed out with a type of Dark Magic that wrapped around the Guild Master's and started to drain them of their magic and then added that power onto his own, allowing Lullaby to grow tremendously powerful, especially since Makarov had also been ensnared and his own incredible amount of strength added to the demon's power. While draining the master's magic, Lullaby suddenly showed the ability to regenerate from magical attacks, plus now his skin was a lot tougher then before.
Right now, it was starting to look like victory was impossible.
Natsu had been fighting with them, but he had been punched straight in the face by the enraged demon and was currently no where to be seen, which was a shame since his flames would have been useful to stop Deliora's regeneration.
Lucy was currently running desperately, trying to find some cover so she could regain her energy and summon one of her spirit's to help her.
Lucy got behind a rock and saw Gray and Erza still fighting the mighty demon, but Lullaby was not bothered at all by their attacks.
Lucy then grabbed one of her keys and yelled out, "Open, Gate of the Golden Bull, Taurus!"
She swung the key downwards and from the giant came a 9 foot tall humanoid bull wearing a speedo and had a giant battle axe on his back.
"Hello Miss Lucy!" Taurus started, but Lucy cut him off.
"Taurus, we are fighting a demon of Zeref called Lullaby and I really, really need your help!" Lucy said in a slightly panicked tone of voice.
Taurus turned and saw the mighty demon and said, "Lucy, run and get as far from here as you possibly can."
"Taurus, I am not going to run away when my friends need me." Lucy said right before Taurus whipped around and grabbed her shirt and yelled out, "Dammit listen to me!"
Lucy was so stunned she couldn't move and so Taurus then said, "That thing is a demon of Zeref and will not go down easily. I don't know if we can defeat that thing. It is absorbing dark magic from the surrounding area, and so is growing stronger. At the rate it is growing, that thing will be too powerful to defeat very soon. You need to run. I am not going to have you die, not on my watch. Now, for once in your life, listen to me. Run."
Taurus then turned around, grabbed his axe and charged towards Lullaby, a determined and serious look on his face.
Lucy's eyes were wide, Taurus had never yelled at her once in her life and that look of slight fear in his eyes was so painful to look at. She didn't know what to do.
Lucy then snapped out of her revere and instead of listening to Taurus, she moved to another piece of debris.
Looking over at the battle, she saw Gray holding back blows with his Ice Make magic, but the demon's strikes were starting to crack the ice, while Erza continued to slice the demon on his back, face and legs, to little effect.
Taurus then jumped off a small ledge and flew forth, his massive axe held behind his back, ready to swing forwards.
Once he was close enough, Taurus swung the axe forth, the giant blades slicing through the air and smashing into Lullaby's left shoulder, causing a giant chunk of the demon's shoulder to be destroyed in a second.
Seeing her chance, Erza shouted out, "Requip! Flame Empress Armor!"
A golden glow enveloped Erza and when the glow left, Erza was now wearing a armor that appeared to have red colored dragon looking armored plates all over her body, while a red sword appeared in her hand.
Erza then swung her red sword and sent a stream of flames into the hole Taurus created and cauterized the entire area, causing Lullaby's regeneration to be completely useless in healing that area.
Lullaby roared out and tried to hit Erza, but the female mage was too quick and got out of the way.
Lullaby then turned around and struck Taurus in the chest, sending the cow man flying away, his body creating a long trench fro the force of the blow.
"NO!" Lucy screamed out as she ran towards Taurus.
When she got there she saw her old friend lying on his back, badly injured.
Then, Lullaby reared his head back and gathered a large amount of magic there and flung his head forwards, sending the magic beam towards Lucy and Taurus.
Neither of them would get out of there in time and both of them knew that. However Taurus would live on while Lucy would die.
Lucy grabbed Taurus's hand and then said, "Thanks for being my friend for all of these years."
Taurus had tears in his eyes and said, "Sorry for failing you and for not being a better friend."
Lucy then hugged the Celestial Spirit as the beam came closer and closer.
Erza and Gray were trying to stop Lullaby, Erza had slashing at the Demon's face while Gray tried to use his ice to mess up the demon's shot, but then dark tentacles finally ensnared both him and Erza, tying them to the ground and preventing them from doing anything while their magical power was now being drained out of them.
Makarov looked on in despair, dark tentacles wrapped around his arms and legs and prevented him from attacking the demon with Fairy Law, which would have killed the demon on the spot. Never in all of his life had he felt as powerless as he did in this moment. He was about to see their newest recruit die a horrible death and there was nothing he could do about it.
Happy was close by the master, dark tentacles also clinging to his skin and preventing him from helping the others out and he too was panicking, trying desperately to save Lucy.
Lucy closed her eyes as the beam stared to reach her.
"Sorry mom, guess I never will be able to become as good of a wizard as you were." Lucy whispered with tears in her eyes as she prepared for death.
The beam washed over Taurus and Lucy, causing a massive explosion the blocked everyone from seeing them.
"No!" Erza yelled out, tears running down her face. She had just met the blonde girl today, but her attitude and personality was one that would have been welcomed in the guild.
Gray grit his teeth as he saw another person in his family die to demon.
Makarov was burning with unholy rage as he tried to break free from his restraints so he could go and kill the damn demon with his own two hands himself.
Happy was bawling openly, hoping that this was all just a nightmare and none of this was real.
However, when the dust cleared, an impossible sight was revealed.
Both Taurus and Lucy were perfectly unharmed. They had been saved by a mysterious figure standing in front of them.
The figure was 7 feet tall and was cloaked head-to-toe in dark blue armor that appeared to be made up of dozens of small dragon scales overlapping on one another. The figure's armor was a incredible design, being bulky enough to provide protection, while also being slim enough to provide incredible speed. The arms had a large four sided light blue jewel in the middle of the lower forearm, from which a large light blue shield had been generated which had taken the force of the blow that was supposed to hit Lucy and Taurus. The figure's hands had a silver circle on the top of each hand that lightly glowed in the dark. On each of the shoulders was a large rounded pauldron that was black and went out for about 11 inches from the shoulder and on each was a light blue glowing jewel. On the back of the figure was a dark blue cap that fluttered in the breeze. The chest of the figure was covered in armored plates, with six light blue lines going on either side of the figure's chest down to the figures waist line. Oddly, in the middle of the figure's chest, there was a strange rounded rectangle with light blue sidings. On the knee's were two large knee guards that were black too. On the figure's waist was a silver belt that had five yellow glowing gems spread through the belt's length. On the figure's hip's were two special pieces of armor that were backwards facing and appeared to hold something, but couldn't be seen due to the darkness. Finally, the figure's face was covered by a dark blue helmet. The helmet was sleek looking with a face plate that had ten slit's in it so the wearer could breathe, while on the forehead there was two large dark blue horn's that went up vertically, while two other horn were next to the first two. The second pair of dark blue horns were at a 55 degree angle from the horizontal line. Also, in the center of the four horn's was a emerald green glowing gem. Finally, the eye's of the suit glowed an ominous yellow in the night time.
The figure made the shield disappear and the turned towards Lucy and said in a deep voice, "Are you alright?"
Lucy nodded, still slightly shocked from her near death experience.
The figure then turned back towards Lullaby who was staring at him with caution. The figure did just stop a power magical blast from the demon with almost no problem.
The figure then said, "Lullaby. You tried to kill my friends and family. Prepare to die."
The figure's then raised his right hand and blue portal appeared before him.
The figure reached into the portal and then pulled out a massive broad sword.
The sword was a good half a foot taller then the figure who wielded it. The sword was silver, but the blade appeared to shine in the darkness, while the guard was shaped like that of a dragon, with the dragon head extending a little over the actual blade with the dragon wings were on either side of the guard, there was black leather on the handle and the pommel had a bright glowing green jewel shaped like a spike on the very end.
The figure wrapped both hand's around the grip and the blade glowed slightly brighter, as several tendrils of silver light started to bleed off of the sword.
Lullaby moved back, shacking in fear when he saw that blade. He knew it from days long past when a warrior in armor exactly the same as that one used that silver blade to kill one hundred Etherious's in a single day.
"So, it is you, Bulat. The One Hundred Etherious-Slayer." Lullaby said with hared in his voice.
"No. I'm just his replacement." The figure said as he crouched down low.
The figure then shot forwards, the force from his launch causing the very ground underneath him to crack and a giant gust of wind to be formed, blowing fiercely against anyone caught in its path.
The figure roared out as he moved the sword from above his left shoulder and swung downwards in a right arch, causing the sword to cut right through Lullaby's right shoulder and downwards until Lullaby's right arm was cut off at the shoulder.
The figure stuck their leg's out as they crashed to the ground, causing a massive dust cloud to be formed as the figure used their legs to try and stop their momentum.
Lullaby cried out, the pain of losing his right arm was unimaginable and for good reason. Lullaby's right arm started to glow and then shattered into small silver particles that floated away in the breeze.
The figure quickly turned around and then put his left hand to the metal plate on his right hip and flung his hand forwards, sending forth a number of blue fire daggers.
The fire daggers burned their way into Lullaby's skin and after several long seconds they all detonated, blowing away large portions of Lullaby's back.
Lullaby staggered forwards, the damage done to him was immense and his healing factor was unable to keep up with all the damage being down to him in such a short amount of time.
The figure then said, "Well Lullaby, it is time for you to go away."
The figure raised his sword up and then covered the sword in dark blue flames and said, "Fire Dragon's..."
All the Fairy Tail members that heard that voice open their eyes in shock, it couldn't be... him.
"Secret Slayer Art:" The figure continued as the dark blue flames merged with the silver blade, causing the blade to start glowing light blue as the energy around the blade intensified, as shown by the very small blue tornado of energy forming around the blade.
The tension in the air was intensifying as the spell continued on. Lullaby had turned around and he did not look pleased, the dark void that served as his eyes seemingly radiating intense hatred for the figure standing before him.
Lullaby reared his head back and gathered all of his magic into his mouth, he was going to make sure he killed the figure this time with this final attack.
"CRIMSON LOTUS: SHINING TEMPEST WAVE!" The figure roared out as he swung his sword in a right downwards arc, sending forth a massive crescent wave of light blue fire towards the demon of Zeref.
Lullaby whipped his head downwards and shot forth a massive beam of pure magical energy that collided with the crescent wave.
However, for all the power behind Lullaby's attack, the crescent wave sliced through the beam with almost no problems and smashed into the demon's chest.
Lullaby cried out as the energy wave smashed into him before the energy cut through him and caused the massive demon to dissolve in a flash of particles.
The figure sighed out in relief when he saw the mighty demon finally died and with a wave of his hand, he placed his mighty sword back into the blue portal from whence it came.
The figure turned as he heard running and saw Erza, Makarov, Gray, Happy and Lucy all running towards him.
Once they arrived, Lucy was the first one to speak, saying, "Natsu? Is that you?"
The figure was quiet for a few seconds before she helmet split apart and then moved down away from the figure's face, revealing a familiar face with a head of salmon colored hair and his ever present smile that could light up a room on his lips.
"Hey guys! Look at the cool armor I got! Awesome right?!" Natsu said with excitement in his voice.
Lucy had tears running down her face and then smashed into Natsu, giving him the biggest hug she could as she wrapped her arms around his armored chest.
Natsu was a little surprised by Lucy's actions, but then gave a soft smile and gave her a hug back.
Natsu calmly rubbed the back of his friend as she cried into his chest, waiting patiently for the blonde haired girl to calm down a little.
Once Lucy had calmed down, Natsu looked her in the eye and said, "Felling better?"
Lucy nodded, and then Natsu turned to the others and said, "So guys, what now?"
Makarov turned and saw the destroyed remains of the Guild Master's meeting hall and said, "We shall return to Fairy Tail. There is nothing more to do here. Besides, it will give us time to talk about this incredible armor you now have Natsu."
Natsu nodded and the closed his eyes and with a flash of blue flames, the powerful armor disappeared from his body and instead, a sheath carrying a new sword was now on his back, the straps going across the left side of his body to his right hip.
With that, the small group of Fairy Tail wizards set off for home, unaware that because Natsu unleashed the power of the sword, events were set in to motion that could not be stopped.
Elsewhere...
In an ancient temple, somewhere far from our heroes, there was a tall statue.
The statue stood 25 feet tall and was in the shape of a monster.
The monster appeared to be reptilian in origin, but stood on two legs like a man, and also had two arms like a man. However, the arms ended in five fingers with long talons that even as a statue, appeared to be ridiculously sharp and deadly. The legs were muscular and had with feet in the shape of a human foot that had five deadly sharp talons for toes. The statue also had a tail with a large trident like ending, while on the back there was four large wings that looked like angels wings. The head of the monster had a large mouth filled with jagged and crocked teeth that looked like they would do a lot of damage, while two massive horns when from the eyebrows to beyond the back of the head and a single large horn was on the tip of the snout. On he chest was a strange symbol. The symbol glowed red and was a circle that a cross in the center.
Suddenly, the statue started to crack and glow until the statue exploded and a creature that looked exactly that same as the statue appeared.
The creature slowly started breathing after centuries of imprisonment, it's hard black skin moving slightly as the creature began to awaken.
The creature finally opened it's eyes, showing that the entire sclera was black, while the iris was a deep and intimidating purple and finally the pupil was black as well.
The creature took a few tentative steps, it's heavy weight cracking the ground as it walked forwards.
Once it got to the outside, it stopped to look at the moon and then said, "Finally, after so many years I am freed. You should have killed me when you had the chance, Bulat. Now, I shall go and free the others. Just you wait, for I, Kokushibyo have returned and I will kill you, wielder of Ragnarok."
With that, the monstrous being then created a black portal and disappeared into the night.
With the emergence of a threat from 400 years ago reawakening, the only hope Earthland has in in the hands of the son of Igneel. That future remains uncertain as events not supposed to happen unfold.
And thus begins our story into the world of Fairy Tail: Evolution.
