Hey. Has anybody here ever heard of a herb named Herba Mystica?
Here is a photo of it. It would be hard to tell what it is when ground up and mixed into curry.
The person who put it in the curry said it's a rare herb from Paldea if that helps.

I have been to Paldea a few times (Great sandwiches, by the way) and heard stories about Herba Mystica. A herb that isn't only for your body but tastes great sounds like something you would see in a storybook. Maybe I should call one of my friends who lives in Paldea for more details. And maybe stop by for another bite.

When we are talking about herbs, do you mean herbs or herbs?

Herbs for eating. Idiot.
I said I ate them in curry.

If these are rare, how did your friend get his hands on them?
I want to know so I can try them myself. If they are as good as you're making out to be, I will need to update my spice rack.

It's interesting to see someone know about Herba Mystica outside of Paldea. I will be the first to tell you that Herba Mystica is real. However, cultivating them is a difficult process. The herbs release a strong and tempting aroma, causing wild Pokemon from the surrounding area to crave it. The real issue is when a Pokemon consumes a large amount of Herba Mystica, they grow in size.
I have seen a Klawf roughly five times the size it is supposed to be.

FUCK OFF!
{Marnie's P.O.V.}
I sigh as I close PTO. I check my private messages, seeing people offering me up to eight digits just for the herb's seeds.
Adam had fed us a herb worth more than what most people can make in a decade, was thought to not exist, and could cause Pokemon to become giants if they ate enough.
It fits Adam's character.
"AH! I feel alive!" Gloria yells, her skin flushed and hair wet from her recent shower. Gloria also changed out of her clothes for a pair of plaid pajamas.
That's right, a shower.
I stupidly thought Adam was out of surprises after the Starter Pokemon thing, but no, he made a luxury RV appear from nowhere!
I will admit it beats camping outside! A bathroom with running hot water and a shower, a kitchen with plenty of snacks, and games and movies that I never heard of before, but there has to be a limit!
Every time I understand a lick of what Adam is capable of, the universe decides it would be funny if Adam did something insane!
That's it. I decided to stop making sense of Adam. My poor brain can't handle further abuse. Just accept the bullshit known as Adam's existence, and enjoy the cool video games he comes with.
I've never heard of Persona 5 Royal before, but I wish I had. Nier and Bayonetta also seem fun.
Gloria flops on the bed. The only downside to this RV is that it only has one bed, but it's so big that Gloria and I can share and still have plenty of room.
"It's nice of Adam to let us sleep in his van." Gloria said, lying down and releasing a happy sigh as the bed's softness enveloped her. "I feel bad for forcing him to sleep outside."
I turn my head, looking outside the window. "To be fair, Adam isn't exactly roughing it either." I said. Adam was lying in a bed of his own, relaxing in a tent bigger than hers and Gloria's. Combined. He was even watching a movie based on the exploding noises coming from his tent.
Gloria shot up from the bed, her eyes sparkling as she stared at me. Before I could say anything, Gloria squealed, wrapping her arms around me in a tight hug, and rubbing her cheek against mine.
"H-Hey! Cut it out!" I demand as my face heats up.
"I'm sorry, Marnie, but your PJs are so cute!" Gloria screams, tightening her grip on me. I sigh as Gloria rattles about how cute I look.
My pajamas aren't anything special. They're just a Morpeko onesie.
My brother told me that I'm too old for onesies, but screw that. Onesies are cute and comfy. However, I could live without Gloria's gushing. Even Adam said I was cute when he saw me in my PJs, petting my head like a child.
Gloria is wrong. I didn't enjoy Adam giving me head pats. Gloria is a liar.
I gently shoved Gloria off of me, resuming my game. It's crazy to think on my second night of being a trainer, instead of camping outside like most of my fellow Gym Challengers, I'm sleeping in an RV with a functioning toilet, shower, and more importantly, a lock.
Just those things alone make traveling with Adam worth it. I'm not including how Gloria and I will benefit from Adam's teachings, how Adam gave me two starter Pokemon, or how he is a decent cook. I can't help but think how lucky Gloria and I are to have met Adam. While I still don't trust Adam completely, I'm starting to agree with Gloria about Adam being a good person.
I save my game and turn off the TV. I wanted to finish the palace, but it was a few minutes before nine. I don't want to be half-asleep during Adam's lesson tomorrow. He said he would teach us something important about our Pokemon in the morning.
I reach into my bag and pull out a Morpeko plushie, causing Gloria to squeal again.
"Shut up. I can't sleep without it." I mumble, tightly hugging the plushie, trying to hide my embarrassed blush.
"Hey. I'm not making fun of you. I have plushies back in my room at home too. I just think it's cute." Gloria said, smiling brightly.
My grip on my plushie loosened up slightly. "Thanks." I smiled. "Tell Adam that I sleep with a plushie, and I'll kick you out of the bed and force you to sleep on the couch." I threaten lightly, causing Gloria to giggle.
Gloria pushes a button on a remote controller, which turns off the lights. Gloria pulls up the blanket, wrapping us in its comfy embrace. After a few minutes of lying in the plush bed and warm blanket, my eyelids grew heavy, beginning to fall asleep.
{The next day}
The delicious smell of meat cooking causes me to stir in my bed. A part of me doesn't want to leave the warm and soft bed, but my belly growls at the smell of food. I rise slowly from the bed, still feeling sleepy. I stretch out my arms, groaning as I loosen up my stiff muscles. Gloria got up, her hair a mess. I don't know if the smell of food woke her up or if I did, but I'll assume the former.
"Good morning, Marnie." Gloria mumbles, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes.
"Smells like Adam is cooking breakfast." I said, slipping out of the bed. I let out another yawn as I walked outside. Adam has already seen me in my onesie, so it doesn't matter if he sees it again.
I saw Adam setting the picnic table with plates of food. I won't deny that I drooled a little at the sight of pancakes and sausages on the table.
"Did you have a good night's sleep?" Adam asks, setting down two colorful jars, most likely containing jam.
"If you didn't cook breakfast, I would still be in bed." I said, rubbing my eyes. I was never a morning person. Adam chuckles at my answer, petting my head again, causing me to blush.
"Morning, Adam." Gloria said, yawning midway.
"Good morning to you too, Gloria." Adam said, moving his hand off my head. I don't miss the feeling of Adam's hand on my head. I didn't enjoy it one bit.
…
Okay. It does feel nice. But only just a little.
And I will never admit that out loud.
"OH! Pancakes!" Gloria cheered as she saw what was on the table, fully waking up. Gloria quickly took her seat, her eyes glittering, ready to devour the stack of pancakes in front of her.
As I took my seat, I noticed something on the ground.
"Adam. What is that?" I ask, pointing at the ground.
"Pokemon food?" Adam answers confusedly.
"I can see that, but why are there so many bowls?" There are probably forty tiny bowls of Pokemon food.
"Oh. That's becaus-"
"GLORIA!" a voice yells, cutting Adam off and causing us to turn. A woman who appears around Adam's age runs towards us. Her hair is orange, done in a ponytail with four heart hair clips. She has a tan trench coat, a teal blouse, and light blue jeans. Why does it feel like I had seen her somewhere before?
"Big Sis Sonia! What are you doing here?!" Gloria yells. Sonia?! As in Professor Magnolia's granddaughter!
What is she doing here?!
{Adam's P.O.V.}
First, it was Marnie, Victor, and Hop, then Gloria came along, and now I'm meeting Sonia. I figured I would encounter Sonia because she is traveling the region researching The Darkest Day, but I was expecting to encounter her in Turrfield, not Route Three.
Sonia has her hands on her knees, panting as she tries to catch her breath. Sonia tries to say something, only to cough heavily at every third word.
"How about taking a seat? We are about to have breakfast, and you're welcome to join us." I said.
Sonia was about to say something, only for her stomach to audibly growl, causing the researcher to blush slightly. "Thank you." Sonia sheepishly said.
"What would you like to drink? I have coffee, milk, juice, and soda." I offer, placing another plate on the table.
"I'll have a coffee." Sonia said, her eyes locked on my hands.
A repeat of how Marnie acted around me yesterday? Joy. Is Galar super fucked up or something? I can understand why Marnie treated me with a healthy level of suspicion after considering where she lives, but Sonia? Sonia lives with Professor Magnolia, so Sonia reacting similarly to Marnie is worrying.
However, it could be me overthinking things. Sonia could have walked by our camp by pure coincidence, spotting Gloria eating with a man older than her and worried about her safety.
But if I could make Marnie warm up to me, I can do the same with Sonia.
I give Sonia a pleasant smile. "I'm sorry for my lack of manners. My name is Adam Gustav."
{Sonia's P.O.V.}
"Sonia Magnolia." I introduce myself, taking a sip of my coffee. This coffee is the only thing helping me stay awake. I didn't sleep for a second, spending the entire night trying to find Gloria. "I hope you don't take this wrong, but why are you with Gloria?" I ask. It's a bit forward, but I'm running on fumes and have run out of patience.
"Adam is our teacher." Gloria cheerily answers.
"Teacher?" I parroted, raising a brow.
"I'm a recently retired trainer. I'm traveling in Galar to enjoy the scenery and culture it has to offer. Gloria here asked me to teach her and Marnie what I know about Pokemon and battle, to which I agreed." Adam explains.
I didn't say anything, but I can't help but find it a little suspicious. A professional trainer who just happens to retire when the Gym Challenge begins, where several newbie trainers are flooding out would love a mentor. I'm not denying the possibility of that being the case, but the possibility of this being a ploy to abduct Marnie and Gloria is just as likely.
Besides, what kind of trainer travels around in a suit? Galar has been getting cold spells recently, but it's still too hot to be wearing a black suit and dress shoes aren't practical to be hiking in.
"By the way, why are there so many bowls of Pokemon food?" I ask. The bowls are color-coded: Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, and Pink.
"It's part of today's lesson. Marnie. Gloria. Can you let out your Pokemon?" The two PJs-clad girls look at each other before shrugging. Marnie and Gloria let out their Pokemon, my eyes widening at the two foreign starter Pokemon Marnie had. Adam watches the Pokemon sniff the food in the bowls, pulling out a pen and notebook. "Eat what you like, and don't worry about eating it all." Adam tells the Pokemon, causing them to eat. After a while, the Pokemon finish their meals, leaving some bowls untouched. What's the purpose of this?
"I see." Adam comments. "Sobble likes sweet and dislikes bitter. It could be better, but it's far from the worst." Adam slides the notebook, allowing us to read it.
"Adam, what is this?" Marnie asks. I'm also wondering what the point of this chart is. Why does it matter that Gloria's Growlithe likes spicy food and hates dry?
"We all know Pokemon can grow differently despite being the same species, but have you ever wondered why?" Adam asks. "The answer is Pokemon having natures. And the easiest way to determine a Pokemon's nature is by learning what food flavors they like and dislike." Adam explains.
Gloria and Marnie's eyes widen, examining the chart again with their new knowledge.
"Each flavor corresponds to a Pokemon's offensive and defensive stat line. Pokemon that like spicy foods tend to have higher physical strength. Pokemon that hate sweet-tasting foods are usually slower. Pokemon that don't like or hate any flavor don't gain a stat boost, but also don't get a stat decrease." Adam continues his explanation. "Another factor is a Pokemon's characteristics. Let's use Sobble again. Based on how jumpy Sobble is, his characteristic is 'Quick to flee' or 'Alert to sounds', meaning his speed will be his highest stat."
Okay. Maybe Adam does know a bit about competitive Pokemon. Most trainers would learn about natures around their third or fourth badge, but few know about characteristics. I know them because Grandm- I mean Professor Magnolia, taught Leon and me about them when we were Gym Challengers.
"Sadly, unlike natures, there is no quick and easy method to figuring out Pokemon's characteristics. You have to spend a bit of time to understand what they are. So, play, train, and maybe even spar against each other to understand the ins and outs of your Pokemon." Adam said, taking a sip of his drink. Adam pulls out another notebook, sliding it over to the newbie trainers. "Here is a list of natures and characteristics."
As Gloria stops eating to read the notebook, Marnie turns to Adam. "If a Pokemon's nature has such an impact on a Pokemon's growth, what would happen if they have one that hurts them rather than helps them?"
"Fair question. A Pokemon's nature isn't the end-all to be-all. However, I can't deny it would be harder to raise a Pokemon with a harmful nature. I also can't deny that some trainers would release a Pokemon they just caught if it had a bad nature. Or sell them for quick money or use them for trade fodder if the Pokemon is rare." My lips slightly frown at Adam's answer because it's true. I encountered trainers who cared about anything but winning, willing to go as far as to abuse their Pokemon. I can see those types of trainers using natures and characteristics as a benchmark to what Pokemon are worth their time training.
"That's terrible." Gloria said, voicing my and Marnie's thoughts.
"I agree. While I admit not all Pokemon are made equally, weaker Pokemon can flourish under the right circumstances. I remember watching a Parchirisu tanking a Salamence's Draco Meteor during a Double Battle tournament. That's why you must keep things like moves and abilities in mind and what Pokemon are commonly found in the region. Parchirisu's stats are mediocre, but his type is a solid defensive type and can Nuzzle, a move that guarantees Paralysis without worrying about Taunt, Super Fang, which deals huge damage when it hits, and Follow Me, one of the best redirection moves. Parchirisu's ability of Volt Absorb was excellent for protecting his partner, Gyarados, who is super weak against Electric-Types." Adam rants. "Sometimes the winning trainer isn't the one who uses the strongest Pokemon, but the one that knows when to use what Pokemon at what time."
A Parchirisu enduring a Draco Meteor from a Salamence? I'm betting Adam is exaggerating, but I like the message. While you may want to win with your favorite Pokemon, you need to know when is the right time and place to use them.
"Besides, a Pokemon's nature is not set in stone. We can use mints." Adam places his hand on the table, opening it to reveal colorful herbs. My eyes widen at the sight of the herbs. What Adam said about nature-changing herbs is true, but nature herbs are so rare and expensive that it would be easier to capture another Pokemon. A single herb would set a trainer back by ten million Pokedollars. I had never seen one person owning so many nature herbs before.
"Wait. How does a herb change a Pokemon's nature? How would eating a plant make a timid Pokemon to one with overflowing confidence?" Marnie questions, voicing her doubt.
"Nature herbs affect the Pokemon's brain chemistry. The herbs are absorbed into the Pokemon's bloodstream when consumed, and when they hit the brain, the brain increases the production of certain chemicals. Dopamine can make a Pokemon more happy and easier to get out of their shell. Adrenaline will make the Pokemon want to fight more. It is important to space out how much nature herbs you're using when feeding them to your Pokemon, as they can become addicted to the herbs' effects. But that rarely happens because nature herbs are too expensive for constant feeding." I said, earning looks from the three trainers. I quickly realized how rude I was in interrupting. "Sorry." I embarrassingly mutter.
"It's okay." Adam chuckles. "If anything, I'm glad that you're adding your input. Having another person's input can help you realize something you might have overlooked. I can't tell you how often my friends or online videos help me with team building." Adam finishes his breakfast. "I'm going for a walk. I need to work off those pancakes." Adam got up from his seat. "Marnie. Gloria. Your assignment is to learn more about your Pokemon with what you just learned. Play with them. Eat with them. Maybe have a mock battle with them. It's important to understand your new friends."
Marnie and Gloria nod, quickly finishing their breakfast and heading back to the RV (how did they get an RV here?), likely getting ready for the day.
As I watch Adam's back fading into the woods. While I admit Adam knows quite a lot about Pokemon and seems to be an alright teacher, as he balanced teaching to Gloria and Marnie while allowing them to learn through experience, I still think he's hiding something from us. A part of me wants to follow him, but I only have a Yamper with me. If I encounter a large group of wild Pokemon, things could end badly for me. My eyes turn to the RV, watching Marnie and Gloria exiting the mobile home in their day clothes, discussing what to do.
A part of me doesn't want to ask them what I'm about to ask them, but this matter involves them.
"Hey. Gloria. Marnie. Mind hearing me out real quick?" I ask with a weak smile.
{Adam's P.O.V.}
As I walk through the forest, my mind returns to what Sonia said. Nature mints are a game item to me, something to make getting into competitive Pokemon easier. To hear how it affects Pokemon is something I need to keep in mind. I should look up how eating large quantities of vitamins can affect Pokemon. I know people's skins turn blue by ingesting large amounts of silver. Could something similar happen to Pokemon? Could that be the cause of Shiny Pokemon? Or could it be something similar to Albinism?
So many questions, but I have plenty of time. I can take my time to research and experiment while I'm in this world.
And speaking of experimenting,
I switch up my team and pull five more Mega Rings from my [Bag]. I might be the only person in the world with ten Key Stones, though it's eight now that I gave one to Marnie and Gloria each.
I clap on the five rings, having three on each arm. What I'm about has been on the back of my mind ever since I came to this world, and now, it's time to see if it's possible.
I can't stop grinning as I let out my six Pokemon.
It's going to be amazing if I can do it.
{Ten Minutes Earlier - Marnie's P.O.V.}
I can't believe I got talked into this. Sonia asked us if we wanted to join her in spying on Adam. I should respect Adam's right to privacy, but this might be the best chance to learn anything about Adam. It took some convincing, but Gloria joined Sonia and me on our tailing mission. Even Gloria is curious about Adam and what he is doing.
"I still think we should turn back! If Adam catches us, we won't be able to talk our way out of it!" Gloria harshly whispers.
"We've already gone this far! We might as well continue. Adam doesn't seem to notice us either." I argue.
"But stil-" Gloria was cut off by something falling from a tree above us, hitting Gloria's head. Sonia and I quickly cover Gloria's mouth before she can scream from the sudden head trauma. Even with Sonia's and my hands covering Gloria's mouth, we still heard Gloria's muffled screams of pain, telling us how badly she was hurt.
While Sonia tries to comfort Gloria, my head turns to see if Adam notices Gloria's scream. I let out a quiet sigh when I saw Adam continue his walk, unaware of our presence.
"Did he see us?!" Sonia asks, her whispers full of panic.
"No. I think he was too far away to hear us. Gloria, are you okay…" My voice trails off, seeing Gloria giving me a proud smile as she raises a Pokeball. I guess whatever landed on Gloria's head was a Pokemon, though Gloria's proud smile looks a bit comical with how eyes welled up with tears and the comical large bump forming on her head.
"Did you capture a Pokemon while we're tailing someone?!" I ask. I know the answer, but the sheer fact that Gloria did that caused me to question her.
"I needed to finish my Grass/Fire/Water core!" Gloria whispers, and a small twinkle of blood flows down from her head. I could only sigh at Gloria's answer but said nothing. We are wasting time and need to catch up with Adam before we lose him.
Thankfully, Adam appeared to stop, putting something on his arm and releasing six Pokemon. I saw Garchomp but the other five Pokemon were different from the other Pokemon Adam had on him.
"Holy crap! It's a Charizard!" Gloria whispers in excitement.
"Adam has over a dozen Charmanders. It would be weird if he didn't have a Charizard." I said, my eyes never leaving the orange dragon Pokemon.
Charizard. Leon's ace Pokemon. And the foundation of Leon's legacy of being Gala's undefeated champion.
"Charizard, Garchomp, Houndoom, Swampert, Metagross, and Aggron." Sonia whispers, listing off all the Pokemon Adam brought out. "There are no wild Pokemon nearby, so why did Adam let them out of their Pokeballs?"
"Maybe he wanted them to get some fresh air?" Gloria suggests.
Before I could say my theory, Adam crossed his arms, the bracelets on his arms lighting up. Adam's Pokemon also light up, their forms changing like a Pokemon going under evolution.
"Those Pokemon! Those stones! Wait! Why do you and Gloria have them too?!" Sonia asks me, but the bright lights from Adam's Pokemon intensify, roaring out as their bodies start changing, like they are evolving.
I cover my face, feeling strong winds and blasts of heat hitting me. What was Adam doing this time?!
Once the winds die, I lower my arm and gasp at the sight of Adam's Pokemon. What happened to them?
"Mega Evolution." Sonia mutters in astonishment.
Mega Evolution?
{Adam's P.O.V.}
Okay. X earns quite a lot of my respect for being able to do this while fighting Zygarde. I feel like I'm floating in a dark pool. If I break my focus for a second, I feel like I will be swallowed up. But still, Mega evolving six Pokemon at the same time is awesome. Sadly, outside my eventual fight against Rose and his company, I'm probably not going to Mega Evolve one Pokemon, let alone several.
But how does one train themselves to Mega Evolve several Pokemon in a single battle? Or to be able to use multiple Mega Pokemon at the same time? It's a shame there are no Mega users in Galar. I could ask them for some advice.
I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard Houndoom growling at some bushes. Could it be a wild Pokemon?
The mega hellhound approaches the bushes, shoving his muzzle into it.
"OW!" Well, it isn't a Pokemon. And I believe I know who it is.
I sigh, feeling my focus slipping away completely, undoing the Mega Evolution on my Pokemon. "Come on out."
The heads popped out, Gloria didn't meet my gaze, Marnie's eyes glued to my Pokemon, and Sonia struggled to say anything.
"What are you three doin-" My knees fold under my weight in the middle of my question. I would have fallen on the ground if Sonia didn't react and caught me before my fall.
"Are you alright?!" Sonia questions, slowly lowering me onto the ground.
"Yeah. I'm just a little dizzy. I guess Mega Evolving six Pokemon took more out of me than I thought." I said. I slowly regained strength in my legs, with a killer headache.
"Why did you do something so crazy?! Nobody tried Mega Evolving two Pokemon because of how much of a strain it puts on the trainer's body! And you did six! What were you thinking?!" Sonia yells at me, causing me to wince from how loud she screamed and how painful my headache already was.
"I thought it would be cool." I honestly answered, earning an annoyed sigh from Sonia.
"Please, don't pull a Leon." Sonia begs me. What the hell does 'a Leon' mean?
"But why are you three here? I figured you would be at the RV, playing with your Pokemon or having a battle." I said.
"I caught a new Pokemon, completing my Grass/Fire/Water core, and wanted to show you." Gloria said, holding up a Pokeball. Oh. So that's why. "We were able to call you when your Pokemon… evolved?" Gloria questioned.
Looks like I'm going to explain Mega Evolution today.
{Irida's P.O.V.}
This is bad. I made a grave mistake.
I had underestimated how long my supplies would last.
I still have enough for Glaceon and me to last for another night. The problem is I ran out of water. I underestimated just how hot this place is. I thought yesterday was hot, but this is miserable.
I tried having Glaceon cool me down, but it didn't help much. I ended up drinking more water than I needed to. I even wasted some trying to cool myself down. I must find a water source or leave this forest before night falls.
"Mega Evolution is a process where certain species of Pokemon can evolve beyond their final stage. There are three requirements to Mega Evolve a Pokemon: A Key Stone, a Mega Stone, and a strong bond between you and your Pokemon. Also, you need to give the Pokemon the right Mega Stone. This here is a Swampertite, the Mega Stones for Swamperts. A Swampert can only Mega Evolve if it's holding a Swampertite, and Swampertite can only Mega Evolve Swamperts. You can't use any Mega Stone for Any Pokemon. They have to be compatible." A male voice rings out.
A person! A strike of energy fills my tired body.
I know it's risky, but I must leave this forest and learn where I am. Hopefully, the owner of that voice is a decent person.
"Does that mean I can Mega Evolve Sobble once he's fully evolved?!" An excited female voice questions. The voice calms my nerves slightly. At least it isn't an all-male group.
I heard stories about how bandits would disguise themselves as traveling merchants to lure unsuspecting women into their clutches. So the presence of a woman in their midst just means it's unlikely a bandit group.
"Sadly, I haven't heard of a Mega Stone for Inteleon." The man said, drawing a sad 'aw' from his female companion. "I'll tell you which Pokemon can Mega Evolve later."
"How do you have so many Key Stones?" Another woman's voice asks. "I'd never of a trainer owning multiple Key Stones before."
"I have two more." the male said, causing the second female to yell 'what' and a third female saying 'You better get used to it."
As I approached the voices, I became lightheaded and the world began spinning. I break through the foliage, spotting three strangely dressed women and a strangely dressed man.
I try saying something, but my world darkens as the last bits of strength leave my body. The three women run towards me while the man's eyes widen in surprise but quickly run towards me as I fall.
As my body hit the soft grass, my world finally slipped into darkness.
{Adam's P.O.V.}
I quickly catch up with Sonia, Gloria, and Marnie, all three checking the blonde girl for injuries to explain why she had fallen. But I wasn't standing by and doing nothing.
"She is having a heat stroke!" I yell. "We need to get her to the RV to properly cold her down!"
"How is she having a heat stroke?! It's almost October!" Marnie argues as Sonia and Gloria help put the Blonde on my back to carry.
"Her cheeks are flushed, and her body is burning up! She probably encountered a school of Fire Pokemon!" I quickly answered as I began running back to the RV. I didn't expect the first-aid crash course I took in college to be helping me now.
As I run to the RV, one question runs through my mind.
Why is Irida here?
{Sordward's P.O.V.}
"You called for us, master Sordward?" James, our family's oldest and most loyal servant, asked. Two youths silently follow behind him, a butler on his right and a maid on his left.
"Yes, James. We just received news about a pest picking its nose somewhere it shouldn't be. They made such a mess turning into our books." I said.
The gray-haired butler's eyes close. "Is it a Nickit or Purrloin?"
While my brother and I enjoy the life of being celebrities, it would be a lie to say that life has no flaws. For example, some nosy commoner sticking his nose into my and my brother's important business. To solve that problem, my brother and I made keywords and signals to convey our message to our trusted staff members.
Books means The history of the Darkest Day. Nickit means man. And Purrloin means woman.
"Purrloin. I want you and Max to capture it for me, including any other Purrloins traveling with it. If you spot a Nickit among them, get rid of it." I ordered, the two butlers nodding.
"Understand, sir." James said.
"As for me, sir?" the young maid asks, causing me to smile.
"This whole Purrloin business has caused a lot of stress to build up inside me. And I want you to help me destress. You don't mind, do you Victoria?"
The maid's lips twist into a forced smile. "Of course, sir. It would be an honor."
While Max kept a blank expression, I could feel the anger and hate in his eyes as Victoria opened her uniform shirt, exposing her creamy-white breasts. Victoria's breasts were trapped in a dark blue bra, which Victoria pulled up, freeing her breasts.
"Is something wrong, Max? You seem like you want to say something." I ask, grinning as Victoria crawls under my desk and begins doing her maidly duties. The noise of her sucking my cock fills the room.
It's always fun to play around with Max like this, using the woman he sees as his sister as a sex toy in front of him.
Just as Max was about to say something, James's hand was on the young boy's shoulder, silently telling him to keep calm.
"No, sir." Max said through gritted teeth.
"Then you two are dismissed." I say, running my hand through Victoria's hair as she begins deep-throating my cock.
The two butlers bow before leaving the room, leaving their fellow servant to do her duties.
As I relished Victoria's services, I began thinking about my brother's plan to solve our problem. He told me to send some servants to kidnap Sonia while he called some professionals to steal her research. Outside of that, he didn't tell me much.
While I was guiding the maid's head to take my shaft, her short brown hair changed to long and orange.
Oh, I can't wait to introduce Sonia to her new place in life.
{Hunter J's P.O.V.}
I'll never stop being surprised by how dimwitted children are. They never think too hard about what they should post online. They can only think about cheap online gratification.
Not that I'm complaining. It makes finding rare Pokemon so much easier.
Of course, when one of my engineers showed me this video, I questioned the legitimacy of it. Any sane person would have. But after a few hours of analyzing the video, I can tell it isn't fake. I might be looking at my biggest payday yet.
"JENNY!"
Great. That idiot is here again.
I jump up, avoiding the groping attempt disguised as a hug, landing on the ground as I spin my heel, roundhouse kicking the man in a red coat, sending him flying into a wall.
"What are you doing here, Wolf?" I asked the man in annoyance.
"Can't I simply want to see my lovely girlfriend?" Wolf asks.
"I'm not your girlfriend, Wolf. As if I'm dating a man who looks like a blown-up Pansage." I said, reaching for my Pokeball.
Or I would have if my hand hadn't frozen when I heard the distinct click of a gun.
"Nice to see you too, Jin." I said to the pointed bearded man. "I would quite appreciate it if you lower your gun."
I know better than to try reaching for my Pokemon while Jin has his gun aimed at me. I saw what happened to the last guy who tried.
He got a hole in his head, chest, and a destroyed Pokeball. The man didn't even touch his Pokeball before he fell to the floor dead.
I even saw the man fire six times, with all his bullets following the same hole the first one made.
Jin's speed and accuracy aren't the only thing scary about him. His mastery of any firearm is something any criminal admires and envies.
"And I would appreciate it if Wolf would stop fawning over you. I can't see why he likes a traitor like you so much." Jin chuckles light-heartedly, but I know the truth of his words.
I'm only alive now because Wolf likes me.
"I still understand why Wolf is insistent about bringing a woman with us." The third man says.
"Nice to see you too, Waka." I said, rolling my eyes at the sexist comment. If any other man said what he said, I would have beaten them to a pulp, but Waka is different.
"I see you still act as if you came from Kanto's past." I say, looking at Waka's clothes. He's probably the only man who still wears a fundoshi. "Continue acting that way, and you will die alone."
Jin laughs at my comment. "He probably would anyway. He's still looking for that ideal Kantoian girl."
"It's a disgrace that the younger generations have forgotten the traditions of our ancestors. The people of Kanto treat me as if I'm some sort of abnormality when I'm the last true Kantoian in the world." Waka complains.
Waka may have been born two centuries late, but his skills with a sword and ninja arts are nothing to overlook. I heard he is even a better ninja than Koga and his daughter. And that isn't me talking about his sword.
My eyes shift towards Waka's sword. Not much is known about his sword, not even the name, but I have seen Waka cut cleanly through Steel-Type Pokemon with a single swing.
"Why are you here, Wolf? Tell me quickly because I don't have time to waste." I said.
"Don't be like that Jenny! It has been so long since we last saw each other!" Wolf whines. His whining quickly dies down as his lips twist to his signature smirk. "Someone hired me for a job."
I raise an eyebrow at that. "Since when did you take job requests? Didn't you say you only steal for yourself and your gang?"
"Ever since the clients are the crowned brothers of Galar. Allowing me to get close to Galar's crowned jewels." Wolf cheerily said. "And I can't help but think how well the majesty's crown would look resting on your head. After all, every king needs a queen."
My lips curl into a small smile. Wolf certainly knows what to say to a lady. However, I'm also someone who wants to complete the collection.
"So you're going to Galar, too? I was already planning to visit the region for work-related reasons." I said, a plan beginning to form inside my head. "Maybe you can… give me a hand~?"
Wolf's expression soured when I mentioned my work. He's fine with stealing artwork and jewelry, but Wolf draws the line at stealing Pokemon, something about it betraying his Gentleman thief's code.
"Jenny, you know I don't steal Pokemon." Wolf said, his tone saying that he wouldn't change his mind.
But I know a trick to wrap Wolf around my finger.
"Not even for me?" I ask, putting on a cute voice. While Wolf was thinking how to respond, I cupped his cheek and kissed his cheek, the corners of our lips brushing. I pull my head back, seeing Wolf's eyes replaced with massive hearts.
For a master thief and criminal mastermind, he is quite weak to a pretty face.
"Anything for you, Jenny!" Wolf yells, trying to hug me again, but I dodge, causing Wolf's face to become well-acquainted with the floor.
Jin and Waka could only sigh at the sight of their boss. "What are you after this time?" Jin asks.
"A trainer with roughly a hundred starter Pokemon." I answered.
Jin rolls his eyes. "Funny. Now, be serious."
"I am. A trainer in Galar posted a video of her playing with more starter Pokemon than I had ever seen." I said, playing the video again on the computer. "Here's the video for you to see for yourself."
"I never expected you to be the type to believe everything they see on the net, J." Jin said, walking up to the computer and examining the video. "It's probably just some kid using a bunch of Dittos and Zoruas to make the video."
Jin rewatched the video several times, trying to find signs that the video was fake.
"Holy shit. I think you might be right." Jin finally said, looking like he didn't believe what came out of his mouth.
"What?! That can't be true?!" Wolf yells. He shoves Jin to the side and examines the video himself.
"Are you sure, Jin?" Waka asks.
"I'm pretty sure. Dittos have trouble changing their faces, and Zouras can't hide their tails in their illusion well. I also looked for any signs of the video being edited, but I can't find any." Jin comments, rubbing his chin deep in thought.
A master thief, a talented marksman, and a skilled swordsman/ninja.
Yes. I can already see the money pouring in.
Author's Note
Hunter J is likely the only anime character I will use in this fic. Also, a pseudo-Lupin is coming to Galar. The brother's servants are based on the servants from Umineko.
I'm also part of the SGO server, so if you want to join and chat, here is a link
