"Huh? What's going on?"

Toga stopped in her tracks as the building started shaking for some reason.

'Is it that loser again? Did the heroes fail to subdue him afterall?'

The shaking didn't cease for a good long minute as the blonde villain stumbled around and tried her best not to fall but it was almost like riding upon a raging bull.

"AAUUUHHH?!"

She screamed in shock as the floor collapsed beneath her and she was sent falling farther towards the Earths inner layers.

Elsewhere Midoriya came to and shakily opened his eyes only to gasp and convulse in disgust while violently pulling away from the sight he was greeted with.

He failed to save Nemoto and rather ironically seemed to only be alive now because the villain unintentionally broke his fall at the cost of his life, his mask was broken and in shambles and blood oozed from his broken body while several joints were out of place and twisted in ways they shouldnt be.

Midoriya fell to his knees in despair and disbelief as he started vomiting from the unnerving sight.

"Izuku?! Oh god!"

He shakily looked up and saw Pony floating down with her horns while carrying Eri as Nighteye and Mirio were held by two other horns.

Nighteye jumped down to the ground and lifted Mirio down while Pony got off of her horns and held Eri closer to her chest.

"It seems we have fallen deeper and landed in one of the old abandoned railway tunnels that was used to transport industrial supplies many decades ago."

Just as the former sidekick observed Pony looked around in slight intrigue as it became clear they were surrounded by old concrete walls and dusty benches as the center of the tunnel was lined with rusty tracks.

"I-I... c-c-couldnt... save him..."

Midoriya stared at the lifeless body in despair and horror as two singular tears cascaded down his cheeks.

"An unfortunate part of being a hero is living with the pain of knowing that sometimes your best is never good enough to contend with factors beyond your control." Nighteye said while resting a hand on the boys shoulder.

Pony looked up as she heard the strange noise of the ground shifting and grinding and noticed Overhaul making his way down. Likely intent on finishing the job and collecting Eri.

"Umm guys, we dont have much time."

"You have to go now Midoriya. Weve far too many injured in our party to contend with Chisaki at this very moment. Now that we have the girl we need only keep her away from him."

The green haired boy looked up at Nighteye in disbelief at what he just said.

"You can't be serious! Eraser isn't around and he has likely recovered from his wounds! Hell murder you!"

Nighteye helped the boy to his feet and gave him a reassuring smile and thumbs up.

"To do everything in our power to help the defenseless and innocent, thats what heroes are for. Eri and Mirio need you now, I will survive and I'll catch up later!"

As they conversed about their next move Overhaul was getting closer as his eyes set upon the group of heroes.

Midoriya looked at Nighteye in sadness, although he tried to offer an optimistic smile the older man couldnt hide the dispirited look in his gaze, the realistic and critical part of his mind told him that he likely couldnt keep this promise to the boy.

"I can fight! Please! I dont want anyone else to die because of my failures!"

Nighteye redirected the boy towards a shaking and mortified Eri a heaving and pale looking Pony and a still unconscious and nearly dead Mirio.

"Then see to it that they make it out of here alive. I can't imagine Tsunotori being able to transport both of them by herself in such a critical state. This is an order from your superior."

"Guys! We're seriously out of time!" Pony shouted while pointing towards Overhaul who was now within sixty feet of reconvening with his opposition.

Midoriya grit his teeth in frustration before hugging Nighteye much to the mans surprise.

He looked down in remorse as he saw the tears in the boys eyes and wrapped his arms around him for a brief moment.

"Take these and keep him alive. I dont what I'd do if I lost Mirio."

Midoriya pulled away while grabbing the flashlight and cape he was just handed as he wiped away his tears while sniffling a little before offering a resolute nod and turning around to pick up the fallen hero.

"Lets go!"

With nothing left to do but escape and bring the injured to safety Midoriya tossed the flashlight to Pony before tying the cape around his waist and grabbing Mirio as they ran off into the subway tunnel as Nighteye watched them disappear into the darkness.

He let out a sigh of resignation as he heard the ground make its final shift and turned to see Overhaul staring at him with a blank expression across his face.

The crime boss looked down at Nemoto with a look of cold indifference while kneeling down towards him.

Nighteye was quick to throw some of his weighted seals in attempt to stop him from using his quirk but Overhaul was first to touch the ground and put up a cement barrier to protect himself.

"Oh Nemoto, it seems you didn't survive the fall but your corpse will still serve me well. Those bullets took far too long to perfect yet you fired one at Lemillion and missed, incompetence like that must be punished.

In that next moment Nemoto felt his consciousness return and was met with the sight of Overhaul.

'B-bo...ss...'

Nighteye watched as the two fused together and tried to throw a few more seals but they didnt do a thing to halt the transformation.

After all was said and done Overhaul stood up while the body of his subordinate was nowhere to be found. In its place he saw that the man had grown larger and gained two extra arms and his mask almost seemed to fuse into his face while his body bordered on the line of a freakish and horrific mutation, but even so his cold soulless eyes remained the same as they fixated on Nighteye.

"They won't escape. I'm going to take the time to personally destroy each and every one of those kids before watching the life drain from their cold broken eyes."

Nighteye remained unphased as he tensed up and prepared to keep the villain at bay.

"Where is Eraser? Your lackey took him somewhere."

"Oh? Him? Kurono has taken him to the VIP room, I have a special interest in heroes with quirks that can erase other peoples abilities."

Nighteye grit his teeth in anger while charging forth and throwing more seals at the man.

'Limit his moves and get in close. Dont let him transform the ground.'

He managed to successfully close the distance while Overhaul swiped at him with his two claws to which he dodged right in between.

'Mirio. You believed in me. You believed in my teaching and used it to become strong. Im proud of you.'

Nighteye looked into the future, saw every swipe from Overhauls heinous new form and did everything he could to avoid his every move.

'If only I could see it. Your success and the safety of those your fighting to protect.'

Up until the very end. Nighteye never stopped glancing into the future through one second intervals, but eventually he lost control over Overhauls line of movement.

The crime boss looked over his shoulder as a cement spike pierced his stomach and another went through his arm.

"Another failure of a hero. Are you starting to understand why the world doesnt need people like you in it?"

Nighteye coughed up more blood as he shakily looked up and tried to activate his quirk.

'Let me see it. A future in which the kids escape and take Eri to safety.'

He continued looking. The strands of his foresight yielded no such fortune only blankness... until it didnt, he saw the hero Deku and with every passing glance more and more blood shrouded his vision.

With nothing left to do but recapture Eri and punish those who would defy his plan, Overhaul never bothered to think of Nighteye again as he raced forward as fast as he could in pursuit of Midoriya and the others.

'We referenced your quirk quite a bit while conducting our research on Eri. So I know a great deal about you Erasure hero. Fortunately I was able to Isolate you from your friends without using lethal force.'

Back above ground in the deeper regions of hassaikai headquarters, Kurono had managed to capture Aizawa and was sitting above him while holding him to the ground.

The black haired man struggled to get up but Kurono merely struck him with his quirk again while taking off his mask.

"Erasing quirks. Now that's an ability Overhaul finds very appealing."

Kurono watched as Aizawa desperately tried to get up.

"Stop struggling, you have all the speed of a snail right now. I struck you with the short hand, you won't move normally for another hour."

Aizawa continued to grasp at the floor as he tried to get up.

"There's no stopping him once he's set his mind to something. I dont know how much youve been able to find out, but Eri is the Hassaikai bosss granddaughter. If it brings Overhaul closer to achieving his goal then nothing is off limits. He will use anything and anyone. That's the kind of man he is."

As he continued speaking, Kurono was surprised to see the ground cracking open as someone fell through.

"Ow! That hurt! W-well... gotta stay on track, it wont be long before we escape this shithole." Toga whined.

Kuronos eyes narrowed in annoyance as he heard that and let one of his strands of hair loose.

"Traitor."

Toga looked over at the man out of the corner of her eye and weaved to the left to avoid his attack while pulling out her knife and flipping upside down before throwing it.

The white cloaked villains eyes widened in shock as the last thing he saw was the blade penetrating his forehead and forcing him off of the erasure hero.

"Well, thats satisfying. I just got to murder that pricks right hand... Now, what to do with you, hero?"

Toga walked over and kneeled down over Aizawa who was still under the effects of Kuronos quirk and as such couldnt resist or protect himself in anyway.

Her eyes then shifted towards Kurono as she pondered her next move before snapping her fingers in decisive realization.

"Your blood will be useful. Both of yours."

With a gleeful look in her eye she pulled out a syringe and extracted Aizawas blood before putting it in a vile and repeating the process with Kurono.

"Oh? Looks like you have some goodies I can use." Toga said as she saw fit to strip Kuronos clothes and grabbed gun and the box of quirk deleters he managed to procure in the chaos.

She then stood up and pulled her knife from the dead villains forehead while kicking Aizawa over onto his back.

"Time to die now hero. Someone with your quirk is far too much of a problem to be allowed to exist."

Just as she was about to kill him Togas eyes widened in surprise as she jumped out of the way to avoid a tentacle attack.

"Get away from him!" Amajiki yelled out.

Toga groaned in annoyance while jumping out of the hole in the ceiling that she didnt fall from and making her escape.

"Mr. Eraser! Are you ok! I was able to detain those villains, the police are watching over them now."

The manifestation hero pulled the blind off of the man as he looked at Amajiki with frustration at his own helplessness.

"We need to get you above ground where the paramedics can take a look at you."

As he was about to take the erasure hero back up top Aizawa placed a hand on his wrist in protest.

"N-no... t-take me... down... C-Chisaki... must be... s-stopped..."

Amajiki looked at the man in concern and uncertainty but as he saw the look of determination in Aizawas eyes he couldnt bring himself to disagree.

Outside of the room they fell in, Toga looked on in disbelief as the saw what was left of the battlefield. A giant hole where the room had caved in.

"No wonder I fell through, this place isn't stable anymore... I know I shouldn't... but I'm really curious as to who I might find down there."

The blonde giggled to herself while pocketing the tubes of blood before jumping down while using her knife to stick into the ground and slowly crawl deeper into the hole.

Deeper into the train tunnel, Midoriya and Pony continued to make their escape. There was no sign of Overhaul getting anywhere near close, if they kept moving they might very well make it out alive.

"Is there really an escape down here?" Pony wondered.

"With any luck we should eventually make it to another station, these tunnels are blocked off from the outside, but their exits still remain. We'll likely have to force our way back up but we should be able to get out of here if we keep moving." The green haired boy responded.

As they continued running they eventually reached a dead end that was blocked off by a collapsed beam.

"I'm starting to understand why these tunnels no longer see use, but how do we get through now?" Pony speculated.

Midoriya peaked in through the crack and made note of a hollowed out room on the side.

"Stand back."

He set Mirio down and charged up his quirk before kicking a hole through the wall for them to get out from.

"Lets go!"

He grabbed the older boy but was stopped as he saw Pony fall to her knee in exhaustion while dropping Eri.

The young girl looked back at the blonde and grew teary eyed as she saw how much pain the horn user was in.

"It's all my fault. I'm sorry. You shouldn't have brought me along."

Eri started crying as she recalled the haunting words of Overhaul that never failed to break her down.

"No, it isn't and I won't let you go back to that monster. Now, could you help me patch these two up? I know it's a lot to ask, but we can't keep moving without tending to these injuries."

She tearfully looked back at Midoriya who had a hopeful and expectant look in his eyes as he pulled out some bandages, disinfectant, and medical tape.

"O-ok..."

The boy smiled in relief as she wiped away her tears and handed her the tape. He pulled Mirio into the room and then Pony afterwards.

"Lets start with Mirio, hes in worse shape at the moment."

Midoriya pulled the top half of his hero costume up to reveal the blonde boy's scarred yet muscular torso and grabbed a cloth before using it to clean as much of the blood off as possible. Noticing some dirt and grit, he wiped it away from the wound where the spike hit and poured the disinfectant on as the older boy subconsciously winced from the burning sensation.

"I'll lift him up. Can you wrap this bandage around the wounded area?" He asked after finishing to the best of his ability.

Eri sniffled while hesitantly nodding with a tearful expression.

Midoriya nodded back before lifting Mirio up and flinching in concern as he let out a pained moan.

"I know it hurts, just stay strong Mirio. Well have you feeling better in no time."

Eri went to approach the boy with a worried expression while pulling open the bandage and proceeding to place it over his stomach before reaching down and pulling it past his back and bringing it back full circle. She continued to repeat the process but Midoriya noticed her look of disgust and terror as it became clear she wasnt comfortable with this.

"Ok... j-just stop, I shouldn't have asked you to help. You've already seen too much that a girl your age never should." He guiltily said while reaching for the roll.

Eri pulled away from him and shook her head in defiance.

"No, I can do this. Even if it's gross... If I can help this kind boy in any way... then please let me."

Midoriya was taken aback by her response but couldn't help but cry a little as he saw the gentle light in her gaze.

Not wanting to let such compassion go to waste he reluctantly sat back and let her continue.

Eri continued wrapping him up until they reached the end of the roll.

"Ok good, now I gotta get it nice and tight before we tie it up." Midoriya said while setting Mirio down and tying up the bandage.

The two then turned their attention to Pony who was leaning against the wall while panting and sweating as she held her shoulder.

"Alright, she's next. We need to hurry so we can resume our course." Midoriya stated while crawling over to the horn user and pulling open the top half of her costume just barely enough to keep her breasts concealed while still giving him unfiltered access to the bullet hole.

Midoriya let out a gulp of reluctance as he looked inward towards the wound and observed the state of her injury.

'Ok good, the bullet went clean through instead of getting lodged within.'

He grabbed the bottle of disinfectant and poured some onto a piece of cloth to wipe away at the injury and plug the exit wound with a dry one before grabbing another bandage and wrapping it around her shoulder before further wrapping it around her other side and tying it under armpit, afterwards he pulled out a bottle of pills and gave her one.

"This should help dull the pain."

Pony nodded in understanding and swallowed the pill before looking over at her shoulder and pulling her costume back up.

"I think I'll pull through, we need to keep moving." She said weakly while shakily trying to stand up.

Midoriya offered her a hand up but Pony refused as she successfully got back to her feet on her own.

"Alright, come on sweetie." She said while grabbing Eri and carrying her with her good arm.

Midoriya picked up Mirio and looked over where he saw a metal door leading to the other side of the tunnel beyond the blockage.

"ERI!!!"

Everyone flinched upon hearing the voice of an enraged Overhaul in the distance.

"We wasted too much time. Move it now." Pony said while running to the door and trying to open it.

"It's rusted shut."

Midoriya grit his teeth in annoyance while kicking the door down before the two started running as fast as they could.

In the distance Overhaul heard a loud banging noise and knew he was close, as he came to the sight of a collapse all he did in response was activate his quirk and destroy the obstacle.

"I'm coming for you Eri! You know full well I am the only person who truly respects the capabilities of your horrid quirk!"

The two heroes looked back and in the distance they could just barely make out the sight of Overhaul.

"Alright! Take the right tunnel! We should be close!" Midoriya yelled out as they came to a divergence in the tracks.

As they did the two continued onward for a long while as Overhaul trailed behind but never fully kept them in sight at any prolonged moment.

"Speed up!"

Pony groaned in annoyance while shooting out four horns and hopping on two.

"Get on them!"

Midoriya nodded in understanding and hopped onto her horns as they managed to pick up a little bit more speed but not much.

"We should be able to conserve our stamina this way at least."

They passed through the tunnel and soon found it becoming straighter and narrower.

Pony looked back to see if they were still being followed.

"I can't see him anymore, but I'm sure he'll catch up. That man is screwed up in the head but he is determined."

Midoriya nodded and started to see something different up ahead.

"I think we're close."

As they passed through the next archway in the tunnel the heroes came to the sight of another blockage but this time theyd managed to make it to the next station.

To the left they made note of a staircase leading to higher levels and a giant hole in the wall beyond it. To the right was a large room sealed off by a metal door.

"Stay there." Midoriya said while running through the hole in the wall and turning right before smashing another hole in said wall with his foot.

With those words Midoriya made it into another room but it wasnt a train station.

'The sewer? I wasn't expecting this... maybe I can throw Chisaki off our trail though.'

With a plan in mind, Midoriya looked around and saw the nasty sewage water running through the sewer tunnel. He looked back and made note of the train station behind them and then went over to the other side of the sewer and smashed a hole in it as well. He was satisfied to see it hollowed out on the other end and led to a larger area where more sewage water cascaded down like an impure and corrupted waterfall.

'Alright, back to the station.'

As his eyes fell back upon Pony and Eri they all heard footsteps in the distance and knew that time was short before the enemy arrived.

"In here." The boy said while running towards the room on the other side and kicking the door open.

Once again, they found themselves in a cramped and damp room, but Midoriya had no interest in staying as he kicked the wall in and saw another tunnel.

Overhaul stopped once he saw a wide open area that was blocked off. He groaned in annoyance as he saw a multitude of possible escape routes they could've used.

"Boss!"

He turned around and saw Kurono running after him before finally stopping at his feet.

"You were supposed to be focused on getting Eraser Head out of headquarters."

"I tried but the heroes intercepted us and managed to reclaim him."

Overhaul turned away while looking around at the various exits.

"Hardly matters I suppose. All that is truly important now is getting Eri back. My plans are nothing but a dream if I don't have her in my possession."

He walked forward while starting to grow contemplative on the matter at hand.

'The stairwell looks unused... and that opening... an obvious bait... but maybe...'

Overhaul paused mid thought as he noticed a sudden sense of mild discomfort in his shoulder and turned to see his valued subordinate had just stabbed him.

"Your not Kurono."

He swiped at the imposter only for them to jump away as their skin started melt in a bizarre manner.

Overhaul grabbed his shoulder and destroyed it before regrowing it to its prime state.

"So you decided to betray us afterall. I never expected any less but I'm surprised you were dumb enough to come down here and try to fight me."

Toga looked at the man in venomous anger as her fake clothes dissipated and revealed herself to have commandeered Kuronos cloak. She looked at her knife in satisfaction at having at least hurt the man.

"You killed Magne. All I have wanted since that day was to stab you, gut you like a pumpkin."

The crime boss looked at her in complete disappointment and boredom.

"Seems like you are just another fool with no vision. Honestly, your as bad as the heroes."

Overhaul bent down and activated his quirk in order to form new spikes to kill the blonde with extreme prejudice.

Toga laughed as she jumped up and lunged off one of the spikes before flipping and swinging between the rest of them like a monkey jumping along the vines as she landed farther in the room.

"Aren't you acrobatic... but there's no way you can kill me."

"You might be right about that... but I got a little something I don't think you want me to have."

Overhaul raised a brow in skepticism as she taunted him and waited for her to continue.

"Where did you get that?!" He asked as she pulled out the case and showed him the remaining bullets.

"Your boy Kurono was happy to give them to me after I persuaded him with a little stabby stab." She said with sadistic amusement.

In that moment it all went south, knowing that the bullets fell into the hands of an enemy while the means to make more fell into the hands of another enemy. How could Overhaul do anything more than scream in rage as he prepared to level the entire tunnel system if it was necessary to retrieve what was his.

"GIVE IT BACK!"

Toga jumped upwards to avoid a volley of spikes and cooed out in approval as her foe just opened the wall into another tunnel she could use to get away.

"You want them? Come and get me asshole!" She taunted while flipping him off.

Overhaul cleared the path and charged forward in rage as she flipped and jumped through the tunnel while showing off more of her acrobatic prowess.

"I SHOULD HAVE KILLED YOU AND ALL OF YOUR DUMB LITTLE FRIENDS!"

The blondes eyes widened in shock as his cement spikes traveled far faster than before and she barely managed to avoid them as one grazed her cloak.

'Holy shit! He's pissed and I'll be joining Big Sis Mags in the afterlife with one wrong move.'

Sweat dropped from the girls forehead as she continued running as fast as could while the entire tunnel started shaking from the intensity and excessiveness of Overhauls quirk usage.

'Well... good."

Her nervousness turned into an unhinged smile as she continued running forward while excited by the new game she had just started up.
