Honestly, thats a matter of perspective and opinion anyways
Well heres the concluding chapter of the raid. Next one will focus on the fallout of it and then the story will go from there. Hope you enjoy this chapter, I am happy to have been able to finally wrap this part up.
Midoriya and Pony felt the ground tremble as they made their way through the dark and desolate tunnel. Rubble, grit, and stone fell to the ground.
"Chisaki is getting close and it seems like he's getting more reckless and desperate." Midoriya observed as he struggled to hold onto Mirio due to the sheer intensity of the vibrations.
"I'm scared. He's gonna kill you guys." Eri said in despair as she clung to Pony.
Midoriya looked back towards the way they were heading and let his resolve strengthen.
"No, that's not gonna happen. I'm going to do everything in my power to keep you safe."
As they continued onward the heroes were surprised to see someone jumping forward through the tunnels before stopping in front of them.
"Its you again." Midoriya said in anxious paranoia while subconsciously putting some distance between Mirio and the one who had made an unwelcome appearance.
"Oh Izuku! Fancy meeting you here!" Toga said with gleeful excitement while blushing at the sight of her crush.
Midoriya and Pony backed away as they prepared to flee.
'Chisaki was bad enough, now we have to deal with Toga as well.' Midoriya thought to himself in frustration.
As the villain pulled out her knife with an anxious and ecstatic grin, she salivated for reasons he dare not seek the answer for.
"Ahh, your so dreamy Izuku. I just want to slice you open and become one."
Pony raised a brow at the sentiment as she clenched her fist in frustration while tightening her grip on Eri.
Before anything else could happen though, Overhaul finally caught up and looked at everyone with seething rage.
"Enemies and Traitors banned together huh? Well, this works in my favor. Now I can retrieve Eri and the bullets all at once."
Toga looked back at the crime boss in annoyance while the heroes tried to make a break for it only to have Overhaul seal off the tunnel.
"You really think these heroes would work with a petty criminal like me? Guess ya aint so smart afterall."
Overhaul scowled in annoyance while pressing his hand against the ground and manifesting a field of spikes to attack Toga and the others.
Not ready to throw in the towel quite yet Midoriya stomped on the ground and forced up a bed of stone to shield them, as she did before Toga dodged and weaved through the spikes but grunted in pain as one of them sliced open the side of her torso.
"You guys need to go now!" Midoriya said while turning around and channeling his power.
He smashed open the wall that Overhaul had formed and gestured for Pony and Eri to leave.
"Take Mirio too. I cant protect him and fight them at the same time."
As he said that Pony nodded and shot out a horn to carry the unconscious boy before proceeding to leave.
Toga looked over at Overhaul and then back at the retreating heroes. Finally, her eyes fell upon the injury she'd incurred from his last attack.
"Why don't you boys play together for a while? Too many people are still counting on me and I'm not too prideful to admit I can't kill you like this, Overhaul. Rest assured though, we'll get our chance to mingle."
Midoriya narrowed his eyes as he saw the blonde villain leap off of a spike and jump towards him. He reeled back a fist and prepared to strike her only to have Toga weave over his arm midair while using it to backflip over him and jump through the hole.
"Come back!" He said while reaching out to grab her only to have the hole sealed back up before he could pursue.
He turned around and noticed Overhaul looking at him in annoyance.
"Ready to die?"
The boy clenched his fist in frustration while preparing to fight the yakuza boss. Sweat dripped from his pores as fear coursed through him yet he knew what could happen if he allowed this man to go any further.
"Never."
Overhaul couldn't help but smirk as he saw the glint of insanity in his opponent's eyes. He said he didn't want to die, yet he was willing to put it all on the line if it meant making things right. It only further proved to him just how right he was about the flaws of society.
"Let's say you heroes somehow win, what do think will happen? That society wont cry out for change? This status quo that your so obsessed with maintaining... it's the prime example of the sickening dystopia we live in. I'm offering a cure."
Midoriya dashed forward as fast as he could while Overhaul tried to create more spikes, but Izuku leaped in front of him and swerved to the side before striking at his blind spots.
"Offering? You aren't giving anyone a choice. How many people would you take the quirks of if it meant thinning out those who oppose your psychotic delusion?"
Overhaul turned around and tried to swipe at Midoriya but he managed to dodge while leaping to the side and making another effort to attack the villain without being touched. However, at this point his foe was quicker and made sure to adjust accordingly to avoid leaving himself vulnerable while doing everything he can to deliver a fatal blow.
While the boy tried his best to contend with such a powerful enemy, Pony continued racing forward with Toga hot on her trail and Mirio hanging on by a thread while a petrified Eri clung to her as her fearful gaze was fixated on the sadistic glint in the villains eyes.
'This aint good... she'll catch up to me at this rate.'
As the horn user continued onward she was forced to stop as she came to a dead end.
"Seriously?! How many fucking collapsed archways are in this god forsaken tunnel?!" She screamed out in annoyance.
"M-maybe...t-that's why... i-its... abandoned..."
She looked over in confusion as she saw Mirio fall off of her horn while shakily trying to get up.
"Oh, you regained consciousness? I wasn't expecting that... but since you have, take Eri and hide while I deal with this lunatic."
Mirio looked at her while slowly managing to push himself up to his knees.
"I can still fight..."
Pony was quick to slap him causing the older blonde to look up at her in confusion.
"If you were in fighting shape, then you wouldn't have had any issue avoiding that. Now go."
Mirio shakily looked over in frustration as Toga managed to catch up to them and pulled out her knives.
The horn user stood in front of the boy while preparing to defend him as he took Eri's hand and hobbled away from the conflict towards the stairway leading upwards.
'I know that girl is at the center of the yakuzas plans, if I managed to grab... oohh! The joy Tomura would feel at being able to utilize her to spite Overhaul.'
Toga squealed internally at the thought of accomplishing even more at the detriment of the one she hated, but as she did her knees briefly buckled in pain while she looked down at her injury.
'Im in rough shape though... thing is, so are they... and theres no going back now... I can only push on to the final stretch.'
With an amused smile Toga charged in and prepared to slice open the adorable and bloodied blonde who stood in her way.
"I chose to come down here afterall, didnt I?!"
Pony was quick to intercept though as she used her horns to block the blade.
The two looked into each others eyes, one held childlike yet dark playfulness while the other held rage.
"You aren't like the others. I see a distinct darkness in you. Why, you don't even care about saving that girl, do you?" Toga asked with an amused smile.
Pony looked at the girl in frustration but retained her silence for the time being as she jumped back and dodged as Toga swung her blade at her as fast as she could.
"You would do anything for the people you love... but your indifferent when it comes to those you don't... I can respect that... I'm the same way."
"Stupid villain! You don't know the first thing about me!"
With those words of disagreement, Pony grabbed her by the wrist and pulled her in close before kicking her in the stomach with enough force to knock Toga several feet back towards the ground.
"Hehe... do I not? Well, I know one thing either way... you hide behind a mask, just like all the others. Your a hypocrite... makes me want to peel your skin apart and see if there's a heart underneath that facade."
Pony let out a disturbed shiver as the blonde licked her blade in some kind of sick deluded form of lustful obsession.
"Not interested."
Toga flipped herself back onto her feet while jumping out of the way to dodge a barrage of horns from the blonde. Even though she managed to avoid most of them, the horns still started to tear apart her cloak while revealing more of her undergarments. A thin white pair of pants and t shirt of the same color. The horned heroine couldn't help but wonder why a practitioner of the blade had a revolver strapped to her side as well.
She continued weaving around the room while slowly closing the distance before going in for the kill, as she did though the villain couldn't help emit a smile to mask her nervousness and disbelief as one of the horns knocked her blade out of hand.
'Nows my chance!'
Pony leaped forwards while her foe was disarmed and prepared to strike.
Her eyes widened in surprise though as Toga let out a venomous grin while pulling out a second knife from beneath her cloak.
"Aauuhh?!"
She squealed in pain as Toga drove the knife into her hip while the two fell to the ground.
"Your blood smells delicious, maybe I'll become you afterall."
Ponys eyes widened in pain and shock as she grit her teeth in rage while adrenaline pumped through her veins. She met the sadistic eyes of the villain and grabbed the knife before starting to pull it out.
"AAAUUHHHHH!"
Toga watched in amusement as she tossed the blood soaked knife out of her hip and shakily rose up while looking at her.
"I just cant get enough of you!"
Pony stood back up while angrily glaring at the villain as she clutched her side.
"Hah... hah... nnrrhh! y-your... g-gon...na pay ... f-for... that."
"Oh? Am I now?"
Toga smirked as she grabbed her other knife and started to jump around the girl while she desperately tried to track her movements.
'Shes good... but something is off here.'
The blonde villain continued to try and flank her and occasionally went in to try and get a quick jab in but even in her wounded state Pony was able to narrowly avoid each cut with careful foresight and observation of her movements.
Her eyes gravitated towards the bleeding wound under Toga's arm as she noticed that even in spite of her unhinged smile, she was letting out breaths of exhaustion.
'She was injured, likely by Overhaul... neither one of us is gonna last very long at this rate.'
Pony continued to watch as Toga grew more desperate and went in for a more direct approach.
"Just die already!"
The hero took a deep breath and shifted her stance while desperately fighting through the pain as Toga dived in for a desperate final attack. Whoever managed to land the next blow would be taking home the victory.
Back near the other side of the tunnel, Midoriya and Overhaul were still trying to put an end to their encounter in their own different ways, but the villain had every advantage he could ever need.
'If I injure him he'll just repair himself... gotta win with one blow.'
Midoriya launched himself off the ground flipped onto the ceiling before launching himself at Overhaul.
'One strike to the head, Manchester Smash!'
The boy brought down his foot with all the power he could muster and aimed at Overhauls head with the intent of knocking him out immediately.
'He dodged?'
"You may be fast but compared to your seniors and the girl, the lines of your movements are painfully easy to predict."
In the following moments, Midoriya let out a pained gasp as he was pierced by the spikes.
"Nnrrhh! I need to get her away from here... to someplace safe."
Mirio leaned against the wall while struggling to continue onward, blood leaked from the bandages around his stomach and dripped onto the floor while he held the girl's hand and walked her through the upper level of the train station.
'No problem. Power Right?'
His vision started to blur as he fell to the ground. It didn't take him long to insist on trying to keep going.
'Get up, Get back up! And move!'
Eri watched in despair as he shakily pushed himself up but couldn't find the strength to get to his feet.
"G-go Eri, find somewhere to hide. Dozens of people are doing everything they can to save you. Just hide, its all good. Your gonna be fine, ok?"
Midoriya fell to his knees in pain as a spike pierced his arm and knee.
"Being able to put myself back together again doesn't make breaking apart hurt any less." Overhaul said while seemingly vexed as he repaired an injury that he incurred from the fight.
'If the ground hadn't cracked into pieces he would have skewered me with a massive spike.'
Overhaul looked at the boy in annoyance while once again having fully healed himself with virtually no repercussions.
"Your done kid."
"No way! Its not over."
"Just like your friend, he didn't know when to give up either. Though there's something to be said for a person who refuses to admit defeat."
Midoriya watched in suspicion as he lowered the barrier to the tunnel and formed another mouth on one of his claw like hands.
"Someone Else Is About To Die Because Of You!"
The hero gasped in shock as he somehow managed to utilize Nemoto's confession quirk through their mutation.
"Is That Really What You Want Eri?"
Eri heard his voice in the distance as she was mortified by the thought. The girl took one look at her savior.
"I'm sorry..."
"Eri? W-where... a-are you going? Eri? ERI?!"
Mirio reached out in desperation but couldn't find the strength to stop her from turning around and heading back down the stairs.
She dreadfully placed one foot in front of the other as she returned to the source of the voice, upon making it to the lower level she gasped in shock before running over to Pony who was sprawled out on the floor in a pool of your own blood.
"W-what are... you... d-doing... he...re?"
Eri clutched the girl in her arms while crying and sobbing.
"I'm so sorry! You got hurt because of me! It's all my fault!"
Pony looked at the girl with a somber expression as she dried the tears from her eyes, but new ones only formed in their place.
"Come on now... lo...ok a-at h-her... I won... This isn't... your fault."
Eri followed the horn users shaking finger as she pointed in front of her. Across from the her Toga was passed out and in a similar state as the blonde while the belt around her waist containing the quirk deleters and gun had been sliced off by one of her horns and was laying by her side.
"Eri! He's Going To Die! You'll Have Only Yourself To Blame!"
The girl looked down at Pony one last time while setting her down.
"Give me one of your horns."
"Why?" Pony asked in confusion as she raised a brow.
"Just do it!"
As she seemed strangely insistent, Pony complied with the request and watched as Eri used it to slice the bottom of her dress before placing it against against her stab wound before running away.
Pony looked at the object she had just handed her and held it over her wound while looking back at the crying girl.
'Interesting choice.'
She looked over at Toga and felt her vision starting to blur, but thought of Midoriya and clenched the torn cloth in desperation.
'Keep it together... may...be... I'll ju...st... rest... a bit.'
The girl closed her eyes for a moment but let them shoot back open as she tried to focus on keeping herself conscious, unfortunately it was proving to be rather difficult.
"No. Wait, it's not."
Midoriya looked behind himself and gasped as he saw Eri walking back out of the tunnel.
"Go back! You need to stay with the others Eri!"
She closed her eyes in sadness and resignation as it seemed the girl no longer held any desire to be saved if it meant others had to suffer for her.
"Eri, look at him injured and alone. You don't really think he can beat me do you?"
"No I don't." She said while hanging her head in despair.
"Smart girl, so then what do you suppose you should do?"
She started walking closer while Midoriya held a look of frustration and sadness.
"I'll come back... but if I do... I want you to make them all better again."
Midoriya was flabbergasted to see her return. A huge part of him had firmly believed his allies could get her out.
"Ah yes, it's so much better to be hurt yourself then watch while others are hurt for you."
The green haired boy started to tremble in frustration as he looked down with a malcontent expression.
"The faint flicker of hope Lemillion gave her has been extinguished. Don't you see? You think your helping her, but your really just being cruel... She. Doesn't. Want. You."
Midoriya shakily stood up while reaching for the spike in his leg.
"Maybe I don't stand a chance... and maybe you don't think you want my help...
He pulled the spike out.
"But I won't let you down Eri... I'm not letting anyone else die. I'm going to save you!"
Eri watched with tears in her eyes as he crushed the spike and declared his refusal to give up.
"You really are a stubborn one."
The girl watched as Overhaul reached down yet again with calm indifference.
"NO! DON'T DO IT!"
She raced out and reached for the boy as he manifested more spikes than any had ever seen prior.
Seeing the girl recklessly dive in Midoriya's eyes widened in horror as she was on the verge of getting stabbed. His body moved before his mind could act.
"Wwaagghh? E...ri..."
A moment later, Overhaul dispersed the hazards he had come to rely on and looked down upon the hero with indifference.
"You wanted me to fix him... so I did. Death is the only cure for such diseased madness."
The man slowly started to approach as he watched Midoriya start to cough up blood as his body shivered from the shock of having his stomach and limbs pierced by a bevy of spikes.
'Got...ta... sa...ve..."
Eri's vision went red and blurry as she looked up and shakily reached her hand for the boy while her horn started to glow.
'No... Wh...y... can... I... ne...ver... ke...ep... my... pro...mis...ses?'
Red and green traces of One for All lingered around Midoriya's battered body as he tried to crawl towards the girl with a look of horror and desperation. Tears fell from his eyes at the heart wrenching sight of the spike that had pierced the girl's stomach.
'Let me save him!'
The girl crawled forward as her horn glowed to an even greater extent.
"This is what you get Eri. This is what happens when you try to defy your purpose."
With a cold dead glare Overhaul finally reached the two and leaned down to grab Eri.
'What the?!'
For the first time since his fight with Mirio, the crime boss was taken by surprise as a painful sensation flared through him and he fell back from the force of Eris power, as he did the form hed taken with Nemoto had been separated from him and he reverted to his normal body. As if to make matters worse for the villain, the spike that had pierced her stomach started to disappear while the hole it made healed almost instantly.
'I cant let this boy die. I could never forgive myself.'
She continued to cry while reaching out for Midoriya, her movements were now unhindered as she finally touched his outstretched hand that had desperately grasped for her to no avail... until now.
"Eri?"
The boys vision blurred but rather than the agony that threatened to drive him to madness, a gentle feeling coursed through him as the pain started to fade in a blinding light and he felt his power surging at a rapid rate.
Back above ground, Rikiya Katsukame was at his high. One of the most powerful heroes in all of Japan was at his mercy and the power he drained only further fueled his bloodlust.
"This is amazing! I feel like I could take on All Might himself right now!"
Ryuku braced herself while clawing into the ground as she blocked another punch from the giant villain.
"That is, if he hadn't let himself go and gone and retired. All I wanted was a shot at hi-wait? WHAT THE FUCK?!"
The ground beneath them cracked as Ryuku's eyes widened and she just barely managed to jump out of the way before it gave in while the villain fell beneath the surface.
Ochaco, Tsuyu, and Nejire looked up in disbelief as they saw a green blur shooting into the sky like a star.
"Is that... Deku?"
Midoriya opened his eyes and looked down in confusion and surprise as he seemed to be holding Eri while looking downwards.
'That kick somehow blasted me into the sky... sort of like All Might's New Hampshire smash. The air pressure propelled me at a high speed... did I lose control, like when I fought Kachan?'
Down in the subway tunnel, light seeped into the darkness from the gigantic hole. Overhaul repaired his arm while blood poured out from his forehead.
"I never told her what her power was, much less how to use it."
He sauntered closer to the hole in the ceiling where Midoriya had inadvertently blasted open when he lost control of his power.
"Eri. Naughty girl, you belong to me."
The villain looked down at Rikiya who had just fallen through the ceiling and touched him as he made the villain disappear with his quirk.
"In order to realize the old man's greatest wish, I need you Eri."
He looked up towards the light with obsession and desperation as the blood dripped down across his avian mask.
Midoriya soon landed back on the ground while holding Eri as sweat dripped from his pores while he remained perplexed by the strange events that had just happened.
'My body's on fire... wait, now it's cold... but I'm ok, my bones are in tact. In fact, even my injuries from before are gone.'
He looked at Eri confusion after having set her down.
"Is this your power at work? Are you a healer?"
In the following moments, Midoriya fell to his knees while clenching his stomach.
"What's happening?! It's like my body is being pulled apart from the inside."
"She has no control over it."Overhaul had started to crawl out of the tunnel while further down Amijiki and Aizawa finally managed to catch up.
"Dear god... what is that thing?" The manifestation hero asked in horror as he saw a giant creature crawling to the surface.
"We need to get up there immediately." Aizawa said while seemingly perturbed by the sight of the creature.
Midoriya looked to the side and noticed the ground splitting apart, he quickly grabbed Eri and jumped out of the way before a couple of massive spikes emerged from where they were just at.
"She may have activated her quirk in time, but she doesn't know how to turn it off."
The hero looked over with defiance as Overhaul seemed to have crawled out of the hole and fused with another of his subordinates. Now, he resembled a giant monster consisting of muscles and nerves and had several limbs.
"Isn't that right Eri? She has the power to rewind people, that's her secret. Use her right and you might even be able to turn someone back into a monkey... If you keep carrying her like that, you could be annihilated. Everyone who touches her is rewound into nothingness."
As Overhaul rose from his place in the midst of the monstrosity he'd created, Midoriya only clenched the girl tighter.
"Didn't I tell you that the girl is cursed? Hand her over. The only way to stop her is to disassemble her, or did you want to be wiped out of existence?"
Midoriya looked at the man in anger while placing Eri on his back and tying Mirio's cape around them.
"Kay Eri, hold on."
He looked at Overhaul while thinking back to what had just happened.
"So that's it, the moment my leg was hurt you rewound it back to before it was broken. I never even felt the pain."
The hero stood up as his power flared through him like never before.
"It seems to me your quirk is a blessing Eri."
The girl looked at him in disbelief at what she just heard, a single tear fell from her cheek and onto his shoulder.
'I understand her powers effects now and how fast her rewind works. So, I just have to keep smashing myself up at a greater speed than she heals me.'
The glove that covered his right forearm tore off from the excess of power flowing through Midoriya as his veins glowed a deep red hue of energy.
'One for All full cowling. one hundred percent.'
"Eri. Will you please lend me your power?"
Overhaul looked down at the newly powered up hero and hardly felt threatened, at this point all he wanted to do was reclaim the girl and get away from these pesky heroes who kept trying to ruin everything he worked so tirelessly to achieve.
"Neither of you realize the true value of her ability. Quirks get exponentially stronger as you develop them, by conducting countless experiments I extracted Eri's power and I distilled it into its ultimate form. As a result it doesn't simply stop at rewinding the flesh. It works on a much grander scale. It rewinds the course of the species to a time before quirks ever existed. Can't you see?! Eri represents change!"
The monstrously huge villain raised one of his mutated hands and brought it down while smashing a building in the process.
"The ability to annihilate quirks once and for all and change humanity back to the way it was before! With her powers I can end this infected society! Cure this hero sickness! She is mine! A naive little boy like you doesn't know how to use her! It's up to me to cure humanity!"
Overhaul smashed down on the ground and activated his quirk, causing a field of giant spikes to come up and shoot into the sky before curving down and striking right where the hero had jumped away, his eyes shifted to the left where he saw the boy reeling back his leg.
"Smash!"
Midoriya delivered a fierce kick that sent the multilimbed monstrosity hurdling into the air, while he too found himself forced into the sky thanks to sheer power behind the air waves left from the aftermath of his attack.
Pain coursed through the boy as Eri's quirk caused her body to glow even more.
'Eri's power has gotten even stronger. Chisaki said she doesn't know how to stop her quirk, just like when I first got One for All and had no idea how to control it. He hasn't given her any training or guidance so she's completely lost.'
Farther into the sky Overhaul was still flying through the air.
'Chisaki. I'm told you started another brawl, your opponent's in critical condition.'
He thought back to simpler times, before he had to cease control over the hassaikai in order to realize the boss's dream.
'I just layed out a punk who was moving in on our territory. Trying to save our plummeting reputation.' The younger Chisaki said while cleaning his fist. At this point, he wore only a black surgical mask and lacked his signature jacket.
The young villain turned his head towards the boss with a furious and bloodthirsty yet cold look in his eye.
'We have to set an example so they know who's boss around here.'
'Is that so? I know you started a new racket without my approval. I told you not to get involved with drugs.'
The boss quietly sighed in exasperation while standing up from his leaning position against the doorway.
'Listen, I appreciate that your trying to repay me for taking you in... but, you always take things too far Chisaki. Dont stray from the path I've layed before you.'
Chisaki later found himself leaning against a balcony at night while looking down in frustration.
'Obsolete Yakuza ideals won't save the organization. Why doesn't the old man understand?
'Well. You have to admit the idea of yakuza once again ruling the underworld does sound more like a dream than a reality.' Kurono said while standing next to the man in a white hoodie and black pants.
The young villain clasped his fist in hand while closing his eyes.
'I'll make it happen. Just wait, if my plan succeeds, there will be no stopping the Shie Hassaikai.'
He remembered the moment he put on the avian mask. The day he forsook all that the boss envisioned for the Hassaikai.
'First, during the research phase. We'll release some of the unfinished product. Let people catch a whiff. A drug that depowers heroes, it'll be irresistible... And once we've established a hunger for it we'll sell the finished product at exorbitant prices, then we'll introduce a counter drug to the heroes that uses rewind to restore a lost quirk. While we sell the bullets to the villains, well sell the serum to the heroes. And since Eri's flesh is the source of the drug, we'll have a complete monopoly on the market. Then Shie Hassaikai will once again rule Japan from the shadows.'
Overhaul stood in the boss's office with a sense of excitement welling up inside of him as he explained the plan to the boss.
'Chisaki. I told you to forget about this, shes a child. Have you completely lost your humanity?'
The young villain's eyes froze in dejection while the exhilaration in his movements faded.
'If your set on going against our ideals, then I'm sorry. You have no place here.'
He stood there frozen for the longest time. Eventually, his hand twitched.
'You dont get it.'
Overhaul clenched his fists while stomping over towards the boss as he removed his glove and let it fall to the ground.
'I just want to repay you... Not to worry, just lay back and relax.'
The last thing he remembered was the boss in the gurney while life support was all that kept him alive at that point. He walked away while placing a green coat with purple feathers over his black dress shirt.
'I owe you everything. You were strong... but those diseased heroes backed you into a corner. Once my plan is on track Ill repair you, and youll thank me for what Ive done... Pops.'
Overhaul opened his eyes in defiance and stood strong while reforming his mass of body parts.
"Why doesnt anybody... See the big picture?! Im going to tear down this entire world! Destroy its very foundation! Your all blinded by some outdated sense of whats right! Your just pretending to be heroes! I wont let you stand in my way!"
He reformed his arms and legs and tried to strike Midoriya with a giant punch only to have the boy zip past him while looking back at the villain.
"If I cant save Eri... one small child whos relying on me to help her..."
The hero shatter his reformed limbs causing Overhaul to howl in rage and defiance while rebuilding himself back up only to look up and see his foe looming over him.
"Then how can I call myself a hero who saves everybody!"
Midoriya pushed his fist forward and the force of his attack created a multitude of after strikes that blew the villains mutated form away piece by piece.
Overhaul was pushed back down and looked up as he gazed upon an enraged Deku who was glowing with strength as he reeled his fist back one more time.
"Thats who Im gonna be!"
The boy delivered his final strike as his fist pushed into the villains face before sending him flying into the ground at immeasurable speeds while his avian mask was knocked off of his winds coursed through the city from the impact as the crime boss was knocked deep down into the hole that lead back to the subway station.
Midoriya landed back on the ground while lightly heaving as his body continued to glow and Eri's grew brighter.
"Deku?"
Ochaco looked on in shock as he landed before them.
"Hah... hah... Eri, are you alr-"
Before he could finish what he was about to say, the green haired boy fell to the ground while writhing in agony as Eri's entire body started to glow while releasing intense levels of energy from her quirk. "What's the situation?" Ryuku asked as she looked around to assess the damage.
"We've ordered all civilians to evacuate. Deku was fighting Chisaki, but something is wrong now."
At this point, Midoriya had fallen to his knees while Eri's power threatened to completely spiral out of control.
'No! Stop! He's gonna die!'
The girl started crying again as she desperately tried to shut down her power to no avail.
'I always have to get my hands dirty because of your selfishness. Every action you take results in people dying. Your a cursed human.'
Overhaul's words rang through her mind as her horn had grown bigger thanks to the excess of energy flowing out.
'Don't die, please!
Amajiki looked over at Aizawa and raised his head to stare at the two.
'I'm sorry, Midoriya.'
The black haired man activated his quirk and erased their own, causing Eri's power to diminish into thin air.
"Hah... hah... hah..."
Midoriya fell to the ground as sweat dripped from every point of his body while he finally seemed to reach his limit.
'Bo...ss...'
Overhaul shakily leaned up as his vision blurred and he reached for his arm.
As he did though, the villain was briefly confused as he felt a sharp prick in his shoulder. He went to repair himself but was alarmed when nothing happened, his eyes gravitated towards his shoulder and he was horrified to find one of his bullets.
"You are done ruining everything."
The villain shakily looked over towards the voice of a newcomer, to a small extent he managed to regain his bearings. All he saw in that moment was a young blonde with a glint of resentment in eyes leaning over him while holding a knife.
And thats the end of the raid arc, hope it was alright. Ill try and post soon but that motivation I mentioned some time ago has returned to normal, Im not burnt out yet but you know what I mean.
