"Administer first aid to any survivors!"

Aizawa, Tamaki, Fat Gum, and a team of paramedics all climbed down into the hole where Overhaul had fallen into while searching for anyone who might still be alive.

Eventually they reached the bottom and Fat Gum jumped down while helping the medical team land safely while Aizawa went ahead and pulled out his flashlight.

"Hmm?"

With a look of confusion and suspicion he walked over to the sight of the monstrous form of their determined foe and shined a light upon him.

"Damn."

"What is it Eraser head?"

Fat Gum walked over and grimaced as his colleague gestured towards the now deceased crime boss who had his throat sliced wide open.

"Well... at least he won't be hurting anyone else." The BMI hero said.

Aizawa kneeled down next to Overhaul and lifted his arm up before grabbing an object of interest.

"This blade belongs to Himiko Toga."

He then flashed his light ahead and saw multiple splotches of blood scattered throughout the room, all of it fresh.

"There!"

Fat Gum and the paramedics rushed over where they saw an unconscious young hero with many critical injuries.

"It's Rocketti! What's she doing down here?!"

While the paramedics made a desperate attempt to save her life, Aizawa went ahead and continued to scout the area.

He kneeled down and looked at a particularly large pool of blood where it seemed evident a second body once layed.

"Toga was here... she couldn't have gotten far."

Back above the surface, another group emerged from the now partially destroyed headquarters of the Hassaikai as Compress tossed the marbles to the side and let the debris fall.

"Alright. Everyone here?"

"Everyone except Toga. We gotta find her, leave her to rot!" Twice said.

Shigaraki took a step forward and looked to the side with a weary expression.

"We don't have the time to wait for her, we gotta get away from these heroes before they find us."

Dabi and Compress seemed ready to leave but Twice was less than convinced as he held the still unconscious Spinner over his shoulder.

"Absolutely not! What happened to no man left behind?"

"Come on Twice, this is why we have backup plans. Toga will be able to catch up to us in time, but we can't afford to stay." Compress calmly and casually explained.

Though reluctant, Twice eventually sighed in resignation and followed the other three villains as Shigaraki turned the corner and approached their black SUV.

Compress took the wheel while Shigaraki got into the passenger seat and Dabi got in the back alongside Twice and Spinner.

"Let's get out of here."

With no time to waste, Compress turned the car on and pulled out into the road as they gained some distance from the battleground. With the deceptively impressive speed of their getaway vehicle, it wasn't long before the villains turned onto the weave lane and got onto the highway.

"Oh? That's interesting." Dabi casually said while looking behind him.

"What's int-"

The vehicle was suddenly and violently jolted as a blast of fire struck the back.

Shigaraki growled in annoyance while looking back through the mirror where he made note of the one responsible.

"Seriously? They put the Endeavor agency on cleanup duty? Dammit!"

Dabi grinned ecstatically while crawling over the seat and burning through the back window so he could get a better look.

"I didn't think we'd meet so soon Endeavor."

The flame hero flew through the sky and grimaced as he saw a black haired villain with the ugliest face approach the rear of the vehicle and shoot a stream of blue flames at him.

He was quick to counter with his own while signaling for his allies to spread out. Burnin took the left side while his other sidekicks stayed back to keep tabs on the league's movements and offer support if needed.

"Compress step on it! We can't let ourselves be caught here like this!" Shigaraki shouted in annoyance while looking at the pursuing heroes.

"Yeah! I know that!"

The masked villain slammed on the accelerator and dodged and weaved through traffic while occasionally ramming anyone out of the way but only when absolutely necessary as to minimize damage to the car.

"Don't let them escape!"

Burnin flew behind and fired an attack off at the rear left wheel but grimaced as she saw it did nothing.

"Don't worry boss! Giran had this baby tricked out just for the occasion! This piece of crud will be done for in no time!"

"Very reassuring Twice." The decay user said while rolling his eyes as the villains continued to speed down the highway as fast as they could with the heroes right on their trail.

"Your little league of villains has done more than enough damage to society!"

Shigaraki and the gang all jolted as the car was shook by one of Endeavor's blasts.

Dabi chuckled before returning the favor causing Endeavor's eyes to widen as he propelled himself higher into the sky and only barely avoided the attack.

"This is pretty fun! It's like where playing a game of high speed laser tag! Don't ya think?!"

Endeavor grimaced as he saw the villainous flame user taunting him and started to descend closer to the freeway while focusing in on the vehicle.

"I've had enough of this mockery."

He blasted forward at high speeds and effectively closed the distance between them before punching into the car causing the league to jolt forward as Endeavor flew back as Dabi laid down some flames on the road to momentarily deter the heroes who continued to pursue while the villains desperately tried to retain control over the vehicle which was now swerving violently from side to side.

"You better not crash Compress! Our freedom is on the line right now!" Shigaraki shouted.

Not letting up for even a second, Endeavor fired another blast which further shook the car causing Dabi to fall back against the seats with a displeased groan. The decay user turned back towards Compress and gestured towards the top of the car right above his head.

Understanding what he meant, the thief reached up and compressed a part of the roof.

"You got those rebars?"

"Indeed."

Compress placed a hand full of marbles in the empty cupholder as Shigaraki grabbed one and let it unform into the metal rod it originally was before he stood on the seat to rise above the hole in the ceiling where his hateful gaze fell upon Endeavor who was still in pursuit.

"Take this you Jackass!"

He let all five fingers touch the Rebar before throwing it forward into the air right at the flame hero.

Endeavor dodged as the rebar decayed while falling back to the ground and turning into dust.

Shigaraki scoffed at the hero's reflexes and grabbed another rod before throwing it with a look of annoyance.

He dodged again but was forced to fire off another blast to counter Dabi who tried to get a cheap shot in while Endeavor was focused on the boss.

"Compress! You see him yet?!" Shigaraki shouted in frantic desperation.

The thief looked out of the window to check in response to the question.

"Affirmative! But our man on the outside isn't quite ready yet."

Shigaraki grunted in annoyance as he turned his attention towards Burnin who was flying closer to their side while seemingly trying to strike from another angle.

The decay user threw another rebar but this time at her in order to keep the hero from attacking. Every second was vital afterall.

Burnin scowled while flying up higher to avoid the attack before conjuring a spear of flames and throwing it at the villain.

"Ow! Dammit!"

Just as Shigaraki was going to grab another rebar, he was stopped by the spear of fire piercing straight through the palm of his hand before dispersing as it left a concerning burn mark and bleeding hole in its wake.

"DABI! CAN YOU STUN HIM?!" He asked while sitting back down and holding his wrist while shaking in pain.

"Sure but staggering a pro of his caliber will sting a little."

"Shut up and do it! I got a fucking hole in my hand! I promise your not the one who's suffering the most."

The patchwork villain smirked upon seeing Shigaraki so worked up and let his blue flames manifest even stronger than before as the car sped up and he cackled to himself.

"Eat This Hero!"

Endeavor grit his teeth in frustration while backing away and putting his arms up to shield himself as licks of blue flames lit up like an explosion and covered the entire road while many cars including that of his sidekicks were forced to brake immediately.

"ENDEAVOR!"

Burnin looked back in concern as her leader was caught directly in the huge pit of fire.

"Come now sidekick. Now aint the time to get distracted."

She looked back upon hearing the snide and arrogant critique before her eyes widened in fear as she was hit with a blast of Dabi's flame causing her to scream while falling and tumbling into the highway.

"Brace for impact everyone! This wont be a stellar and graceful exit." Compress warned.

"Wait! Compress! What the fuck are you doing?!"

The thief slammed down on the accelerator as hard as could and continued to drive forward.

"AAAUUUUUGGGGHHHH!"

Nearly everyone screamed as the madman drove through the side of the highway where it bent in order to change directions. The concrete shoulder barrier was smashed into dozens of pieces of rubble as they fell a few dozen feet and the car crashed nose first into the lower road next to the river.

"Uurrhh..."

Shigaraki rubbed his head in grogginess while kicking the door open and crawling out of the car while his subordinates did the same.

"Everyone! There's no time to waste!"

The decay user looked over in suspicion before his gaze suddenly softened upon seeing a brown haired man running up to them.

"FIND THEM!"

Endeavor looked on in anger while flying towards the broken gap where the league's car had just crashed.

He landed before the wrecked car and kneeled down to examine it. The vehicle was completely abandoned.

"Endeavor! Sir! Burnin needs medical attention fast!"

He looked back up to see that his sidekick Kido had shouted to him from the edge of the freeway.

"Then get her to the hospital! I can't afford to let the league escape when we are so close!"

With that parting order, the hero flew off while scouring the area for any trace of where they had gone.

He flew further up to the roads and past a traffic light where many civilians looked up in curiosity and amazement upon being able to see the number one hero in action.

Among the crowd, the brown haired man smirked while turning his back on the hero and pulling open his trench coat to look inside his pocket where he held multiple of Compress's marbles.

Meanwhile, back at the Hassaikai headquarters. The ambulances had arrived and many of the wounded heroes were ushered away to receive treatment.

Midoriya looked on in remorse as he saw Pony laying in one of the stretchers. Unfortunately, she was now rendered within an inch of her life and barely hanging on. The boy could only hope that she would pull through.

Near the ambulance. Ryuku, Nejire, Ochaco, and Tsuyu all watched in sadness as their colleague was rushed to intensive care. Nejire grit her teeth while clenching her fist in frustration.

"I should have gone with her. I could have prevented this." She said while punching a nearby outer wall.

"Then one of us might have been in that stretcher instead. You didn't do anything wrong Nejire." Ryuku said while resting her hand on the senior heroine's shoulder.

Nejire offered no response. She simply hung her head in shame as her shaking somewhat stopped and she sighed in dejection.

Seeing that her protege needed some time to come to terms with what happened, she distanced herself respectfully before looking around to assess the damage for herself.

Eventually, the dragoon hero looked at Midoriya and her gaze softened. She saw the fight above alongside the rest of her agency and a part of her couldn't help but worry despite their victory.

Midoriya looked back and gasped in shock as the medical team carried a body bag out from the hole. He covered in his mouth in shock and disgust as he was once again reacquainted with the grim side of the job.

In time, Midoriya was shook from his trance by a hand resting upon his shoulder and looked to see a remorseful Ryuku shaking her head no at him.

She gestured for him to turn away and the two walked off towards the farther edge of the crime scene away from the injured and deceased.

"A lot happened today and many people died, so it's not an appropriate time to celebrate... but... Thankyou, for all that you did today."

Midoriya was speechless for a good minute before looking over in her direction with a smile that did a less than serviceable job at hiding his dispirited expression.

"Sure... and... umm... Thanks, Ryuku..." He said awkwardly while rubbing the back of his head.

Ryuku nodded solemnly before turning to leave as Midoriya stood there still trying to process everything they'd just been through.

'Eri... Pony... Mirio... please be ok...'

And thats the chapter. Hope it was alright
