Natsu Dragneel: Hey there everyone!?
Christopher Dragkrow: Now this is the twenty chapter of this story, I'm glad to say that we have finally passed the 500 favourites mark, which means we are the 2nd highest Natsu x OC pairing in all of Fairy Tail fanfiction!
Natsu Dragneel: Yup so enjoy reading. Christopher Dragkrow does not own Fairy Tail or any of its characters, he owns his OC and this story.

Chapter 21: The 3rd Day of the GMG!
In the last chapter of "I Will Love You No Matter What":
"Natsu, what is the date in the human world as we are speaking here now?" Igneel asked and Natsu's eyes widened in realization.
"It's the 2nd of July…."
"That's right, the Dragon King Festival will occur once more in five days." Lumina said gravely.
Normal POV
Natsu stood in place. Too shocked to move after the massive reveal before his body dropped to the chair he was sitting on.
"Five more days? But, the Grand Magic Games ends in 5 more days as well!" Natsu said and Lumina frowned.
"I have a feeling that this tournament was planned from the start." Lumina said which caused Natsu to clench his fists.
"So you're telling me that a war that took place 400 years ago between humans and dragons will be taking place in Crocus?!" Natsu asked and Lumina shook her head sadly.
"Then what about my friends? There's not enough time for them to escape if it begins on the very same day." Natsu asked.
"Unfortunately, your friends will also be taking a part in this war." Lumina said and Natsu started shaking uncontrollably.
The thought of his friends fighting against dragons was painful. It wasn't because that he thought his friends were weak, it was the opposite. It was that dragons are on a level on their own. The Dragon Slayers were created for the sole purpose of killing dragons if it became necessary, however most of his friends weren't Dragon Slayer…..neither was she.
"Natsu, I understand your worry for this, that is why we, the Dragon Council request of you to find a way to stop the Dragon King Festival." Lumina said as Natsu looked at his mother in shock.
"There's a way to stop it?"
"More like delay it until a later date. This festival is unavoidable, however, it does not mean the date for it is fixed so try and stall out a time so that you and your friends may have a better chance of taking part in this event." Lumina said and Natsu's bangs covered his eyes during the time Lumina was explaining.
"No."
This caused confusion all around the Dragon Council until Natsu looked at his mother in the eyes, his eyes ignited with fiery passion and determination.
"I WILL delay the time so that only I will take part in this festival." Natsu said shocking everyone currently present in the room.
"But Natsu! It's too risky for you to fight on your own!" Lumina quickly said, worried about her son but Natsu shook his head.
"As the Prince of Dragons, my decision is final. If that is all you wish to speak off my Lady, I shall now be taking my leave." And with that, Natsu bowed to everyone in the room before walking out of the room, disappearing with a flash, causing silence to fill the room.
"My Lady, why did you lie to the boy?" a dragon asked as soon as Natsu was gone.
"We all know that there's no possible way to delay the festival, it's impossible, so why?"
Lumina then frowned as she turned to the door of the room.
"It's better to leave him in the dark from this. To give him some hope before it begins." Lumina said as her frown deepened.
'Forgive me for this Natsu.'
With Natsu
Natsu then reappeared at the very same toilet booth he entered in and the Dragon Prince was silently thanking to whatever deity he knows that there was nobody in the booth. There were two reasons for this. The first, it would be a major pain to explain as to where he came from and secondly, it would be too awkward, even for him.
Natsu then shook his head at that and proceeded to leave the toilet and walked towards the stadium's exit, where he and the rest of Team B plan on having some lunch together, while discussing about the next day's events.
As he was walking, he saw none other than Leila leaning on a wall with her arms crossed.
"Hey there Natsu." Leila greeted with a smile as Natsu returned it with one of his own.
"Hey there, how are you?" Natsu greeted.
"I'm fine, and congratulations for your team's success today." Leila said and Natsu just shrugged his shoulders at that.
"Heh, it's just the second day, it's nothing to celebrate about. Besides, we plan on winning this thing so obviously we need to make our mark." Natsu said passionately and Leila giggled into her hands.
"You've got to cool down a bit, you don't want to lose your flames in the later stages of the tournament." Leila said and this time Natsu chuckled, confusing the white haired beauty.
"What is it?" Natsu then turned to her, his black onyx eyes locking with her hazel blue eyes, causing the Angel Slayer to blush.
"That's where you're wrong about me. No matter how difficult the task or it may seem impossible, but my flames will never die out, it'll burn until the end." Natsu said as he raised a fist to his chest while Leila just smirked at him.
"That was really cheesy, did you get that from somewhere?" Leila asked and Natsu blushed and rubbed the back of his head.
"Well, I need to get back to work, maybe I'll see you again soon?" Leila asked, the hope she had in her words were very well hidden and it seemed like it work as Natsu didn't notice it and smiled.
"Sure! I wouldn't mind to hang out with a beautiful girl like you!" Natsu said with a smile and this caused Leila to blush at the compliment as she then played with her hair.
"T-thank you, anyways, I'll see you soon!" and with that, the white haired Angel Slayer walked off at a very fast pace, leaving Natsu alone in the corridor as he smiled.
'I hope that I left a good impression to her, after all I'm going to be the one that'll propose to her sister in the future.' Natsu thought worriedly before he walked towards the exit as well.
Natsu was walking through the streets of Crocus when someone pulled him into an alleyway.
Natsu then smiled when he saw a cloaked figure and brought it to his arms.
"Missed me so soon, Kei?" Natsu asked teasingly and Kei pulled the hood off her head as she pouted at her mate.
"Didn't you promise to have lunch with me?" Kei asked and Natsu internally winced at that.
How did he forget that? Oh right, the meeting with the Dragon Council, right.
"Of course I remember! What kind of person do you take me for?" Natsu asked, pumping his chest to hide the worry inside.
"Oh, but a little birdy told me that you were going to have lunch with the rest of Team B." Kei said with a teasing smile and Natsu dropped his act and sighed.
"It was Happy, wasn't it?" Natsu asked and Kei nodded her head and the blue exceed himself appeared behind Kei and flew over to Natsu's head.
"Don't worry about it Kei. I'm going to keep my promise, let's go and have some lunch." Natsu said but Kei stopped him by grabbing his hand.
"But what about your teammates? Won't they be suspicious if you choose to eat with me? I'll be fine with Sachi." Kei said, hiding the disappointment well but that didn't satisfy Natsu one bit as he pulled her closer to him with a hug.
"Kei, my guild could go and lose this tournament for all I care." Natsu said seriously and Kei was shocked with his response as he looked at her, placing a hand on her cheek.
"If I promised you something, I'll make sure to fulfill it, because you're more important to me than anyone in the guild." Natsu said passionately with a smile and Kei blushed softly before she kissed Natsu, something Natsu returned while Sachi and Happy were in the air, holding hands as they smiled, watching their 'parents' express their love to each other.
"Happy, you were really cool today!" Sachi said to her mate and Happy smiled proudly.
"Of course I was, I'm the strongest member of Team B after all!" Happy said and Sachi giggled into her hands.
After their talk in the alleyway, Natsu then brought Kei and the others to a fancy looking restaurant.
"Wow, how'd you get reservations to this place? There's still a line waiting outside." Kei pointed out and Natsu smirked.
"If my princess wants to have lunch, I'll make sure that she gets food worthy of her presence." Natsu said with a smile and Kei giggled at his cheesy line before the four sat down on a table.
"Hey Natsu, did you abuse your power of being extremely famous after beating Jura?" Happy whispered and Natsu sweat dropped.
"O-of course not! What kind of person do you take me for?" Natsu asked and Happy gave him a deadpanned stare in return.
After that conversation, the food had arrived and the four enjoyed a wonderful lunch together while Team B were starting to get annoyed at the lateness of their teammate.
"Where is that flame brain?!" Laxus growled as he looked at his watch while the other two members of Team B, minus Jellal who decided to meet up with his other guild members, just continued to eat their food.
"Maybe he's not coming? Remember, he has no way of contacting us." Mirajane pointed out and Laxus growled at that.
"And what could be so important that he chose NOT to join us? We're supposed to be discussing about the next day of the Grand Magic Games!" Laxus said and that was when Mirajane's eyes started sparkling.
"Maybe he's meeting a girl!" Mirajane said, catching Juvia's interest and also gaining a scoff from Laxus.
'Natsu-san meeting a girl?' Juvia thought curiously but because she is unable to think of other men, her mind instantly went off topic, one where Gray asking her out on a date, causing the blue haired mage of Fairy Tail to blush a deep shade of red with a small amount of drool falling from her lips.
"Natsu? Getting a girl? As if! He's too dense to know about women." Laxus waved it off, trying to imagine Natsu acting lovey-dovey with one of the opposite sex, but failed.
"But, remember, he's changed. Maybe he could have changed because he's met someone important?" Mirajane pointed out but Laxus wasn't having it.
"We'll talk about it later but for now, let's finish eating, I don't plan on sitting here to wait for that idiot." Laxus said before going back to his food, leaving Mirajane to her own thoughts, while Juvia was still stuck in her daydream.
The Next Day
It was now the third day of the Grand Magic Games as Natsu yawned, standing together with his teammates at the Fairy Tail Team B stands.
"Tired?" Mirajane asked and Natsu turned to her and nodded his head.
"Sort of, I was kept up at night." Natsu said as he stretched his body, gaining a curious look from the silver haired beauty.
"What were you doing?" Mirajane asked and Natsu suddenly thought back to yesterday's activities.
Both he and Kei decided to head to a nearby town, as a festival was being held there, as a date. It started off well until some girls decided to flirt with him, causing Kei to be jealous and he had to ensure that he only had eyes on her and ONLY HER.
"Nothing much." Natsu said plainly, gaining a suspicious look from the bartender of Fairy Tail but she shrugged it off in the end.
"Welcome everyone to the third day of the Grand Magic Games!" Chapati shouted energetically, causing the crowd to roar out in enthusiasm.
"Now, I'm going to announce the competition event of the third day of the Games! And the name of the event is…Pandemonium!"
"A pandemonium?" Juvia then turned to her teammates in confusion, wondering if they knew what it was. However, they all just shrugged, all but one.
"A pandemonium is a place where the demons lurk, hiding in the shadows within to evade the people of the world." Natsu said, not even turning to Juvia who looked shocked.
"O-okay, thank you Natsu-san." Juvia bowed but Natsu could care less and yawned bored.
'The concept of having demons around DOES sound cool though.' Natsu thought to himself and chuckled.
"There'll be only one representative from each guild for this, please choose your representative wisely!"
"So who wants to go?" Natsu asked his team and just when Mirajane was about to offer, Happy jumped up.
"I do!" Happy said, shocking the rest of his team.
"Happy, you?!" Team B practically shouted at the blue exceed who smiled.
"Aye sir!"
"You do realize that we need to WIN right? Not lose?" Laxus said and Happy's eyes twitched in annoyance.
'You're lucky you haven't seen my full power yet, otherwise I would have blasted you away!' Happy thought in annoyance and just when he was about to fight back, Natsu stepped in.
"Sure, why not?" Natsu said nonchalantly, gaining shocked looks from his teammates and Happy smiled and flew downwards to the arena.
"Natsu, what do you think you're doing?!" Laxus all but shouted at Natsu's face and Natsu just pushed the blonde away from his and shrugged.
"You got to trust in Happy on this one. I didn't ask the Master to just put Happy in for the Chariot event, hell no." Natsu then smirked.
"After all, a prince DOES need the help of a knight." Natsu said, making his teammates ever more confused than before.
After a while the representatives of each guild appeared on the field, some were amused at the sight of a blue cat joining the event, but Erza wasn't one of those, instead she was curious.
'Surely they didn't send Happy as a way to give us a chance, right?' Erza thought and she turned to where the other members were and saw the relaxed and bored look on Natsu's face, as if he didn't care that Happy was in place.
"And all of our representatives have been decided!" Chapati announced and later a dark magic circle appeared from the sky and later a giant building emerged from it, gaining awed looks from the crowd, competitors and guild members alike.
"This is "Pandemonium"! The house of monsters!" Kabo, the referee said before he began explaining the rules to everyone.
The rules of the game were simple, each competitor will go in one by one and fight a number of monsters for points. They can select how many monsters the will fight thanks to the Challenge Right but are warned that monsters they get will be randomized. The game is set go on until all 100 monsters are defeated or everyone's Magic Power runs out.
"Do you get it, kabo?" Kabo asked, gaining a nod from everyone and the pumpkin man held his hand out and a box with sticks magically appeared in his hands.
"Alright then, let's decide the order in which all of you will go." Kabo said and the 8 drew their lots and a small green pentagram appeared on the top with the number on it.
Erza was deemed to go first and she decided to battle ALL 100 monsters in the Pandemonium, and although it was very difficult, the redhead managed to pull it off, gaining 10 points for Team A.
However, because there were no way to determine the ranks for the other 7 representatives, a machine called the Magic Power Finder, or MPF for short, was brought in by the Rune Knights to solve the problem.
It is a floating device, which encases a small, blue orb. And its primary function is to determine the amount of Magic Power an attack contains.
Natsu then chuckled at the misfortune look Happy had after Erza had defeated all the monsters. Knowing his blue partner, HE wanted to fight all 100 but had the unfortunate luck of picking the number 8.
So after a while the scores were as follows:
Millianna with a score of 365, Nobarly with 124, Hibiki with 95, Obra with the lowest score of all, 4, Orga with 3825 and Jura with 8544.
"And finally our final contender, Happy of Fairy Tail Team B!"
"Hah! They sent a CAT of all things? Are they stupid or what?"
"Maybe they sent it to be a mascot for the other team?"
"Maybe it was sent there to 'scare' the other monsters!"
As the audience laughed at Happy, said Blue Exceed was starting to get more and more annoyed at each comment that he heard.
"Happy!" Natsu shouted from the stands, catching his attention.
Happy's eyes then widened in shock when Natsu smiled and nodded his head, causing a face eating grin to appear on Happy's face.
"Alright!" and with that, dark energy began emitting from Happy, shocking everyone but those who actually knew.
Once the dark energy was gone, Happy, now in his Tenebrarum Eques, roared out loudly as everyone in the stadium watched in awe and shock.
"T-that's Happy?" Laxus said in shock and he turned to Natsu who was leaning on the balcony, smirking.
'Guess it's time to show them what I've got!' Happy thought to himself as he was then surrounded by black electricity.
"Thunder Knight's Holy Sword!" Happy then howled before he transmitted the electricity to his mouth before firing it as a massive beam at the MPF, causing large amount of smoke to cover the battlefield.
Everyone had to wait for a few minutes before the smoke finally cleared and everyone could see the crystal ball slightly cracked and the score above it was 9125
Happy then reverted back to his original Exceed form and smiled.
"I did it!" Happy cheered happily before the crowd cheered loudly, louder than they ever cheered before.
Meanwhile the other guilds and even Fairy Tail themselves still stood in shock as to what they had just witnessed.
"Tenebrarum Eques, the Knight of Darkness. To think our mage has potential to wield its powers." Mavis said in shock, meanwhile Makarov turned to where Natsu was, smiling happily as he was clapping.
'Natsu, what other secrets have you not revealed yet?' Makarov thought to himself as he looked at the scores that was revealed on the screen.
1st place: Fairy Tail B 46P
2nd place: Fairy Tail A 34P
3rd place: Raven Tail 25P
4th place: Sabertooth 24P
5th place: Mermaid Heel 17P
5th place: Blue Pegasus 15P
7th place: Lamia Scale 13P
8th place: Quatro Puppies 8P
"Oh and it looks like both Fairy Tail teams are on top! Will anyone be able to stop them from reaching the top?!" Chapati announced, causing the crowd to cheer while Sting stood at Sabertooth's stands clenching his fists in rage.
'How are they so strong?! It's not possible!' Sting thought angrily as his eyes went to the black haired Dragon Slayer who was congratulating his partner by petting him on his head.
'Natsu Dragneel, I'll beat you for sure!'
After the events of "Pandemonium", it was time for the battles on the third day, and first up it was Millianna of Mermaid Heel up against Semmes of Quatro Puppies, a battle where Millianna pulled out victorious.
Up next was Eve against Rufus, a battle of the blondes as I like to say, and Rufus pulled out as the more dominating blonde by overpowering the younger boy, up to the point he was too injured to battle the next day.
The next battle was one Natsu paid much attention on, it was Laxus up against Alexei of Raven Tail. Now, Natsu had never met Ivan before but he could honestly say that Makarov's son was indeed participating the tournament as Alexei. After all the scents don't lie. And thanks to his enhanced vision, Natsu was able to see through the illusion Alexei had put up and heard the entire conversation between father and son regarding Fairy Tail's secrets. And just when Natsu thought Laxus was about to betray the guild once again, he proved the Dragon Prince wrong by fighting all 5 members of Raven Tail, breaking the illusion and with that, Raven Tail was disqualified by the GMG.
And the final battle was between two Sky Maidens, Wendy and Chelia who was revealed to be a Sky God Slayer, and it proved to be an interesting battle, however the result ended as a tie, and a friendship was born between the two.
"Now that battles concludes the 3rd day of the Grand Magic Games! And this is how the results stand!"
1st place: Fairy Tail B 56P
2nd place: Fairy Tail A 39P
3rd place: Sabertooth 34P
4th place: Mermaid Heel 27P
6th place: Lamia Scale 18P
7th place: Blue Pegasus 15P
8th place: Quatro Puppies 8P
"Will anyone be able to stop the two Fairy Tail and their unstoppable streak?! Find that out on the next day!"
Natsu then walked off with his team to a nearby restaurant when he saw Jellal, whose face was exposed, being surrounded by Rune Knights and Magic Councilman Lahar and his assistant, Mest Gryder or better known as Doranbolt.
Natsu was just about to walk in and protect Jellal when the former Magic Councellor, Yajima intervened and saved Jellal from being arrested.
Upon the sight of his team, Jellal then covered his face and walked off with them.
"That was a risky move Jellal, you're lucky Yajima saved your ass otherwise we would have been kicked out of this tournament." Natsu glared at the blue haired man who chuckled.
"Forgive me, I was chasing after someone who had the same dark energy that I was looking for and encountered the Magic Council because of it." Jellal said and Laxus sighed.
"Could you have waited for us? Like, we understand that you're undercover and all, but there are TWO Dragon Slayers that could help with your search! Didn't you realize that?" Laxus glared at the masked man who looked away.
"Yes, I understand Laxus. I'll make sure to be more careful next time." Jellal said and Natsu then wrapped an arm around his shoulder.
"Let's forget all about this and eat already! I'm starving!" this caused the group to chuckle in amusement as they walked to a nearby restaurant to eat.
Unknown to all of them, a hooded figure watched them, or a black haired Prince in particular closely, a small tear falling from its eyes.
