Normal POV
Location: Crocus (Main Street)
Acnologia roared loudly in the sky, the tremor causing the ground to shake before she landed with a loud thud, darting her head left and right as if she were looking for something…or someone.
"Fire Dragon's Iron Fist!" Shooting up from the rubble, Natsu immediately sent a powerful right hook at the dragon causing her to crash into a nearby building.
"Did you miss me?" Natsu asked with a smirk as Acnologia got up and roared out in anger. She immediately attempted to retaliate by swinging her tail at him, but it was to no avail as the Dragon Prince had expected this as he leapt up into the air.
"Fire Dragon's Wing Attack!"
Natsu then brought out his two hands and flames start to gather around his hands which then resembled a Dragon's wing, Natsu then swung his hands, causing the flames to be fired at Acnologia's direction.
However, the dragon managed to avoid the attack as she charged in towards Natsu. Stabbing his sword into the ground, the Dragon Prince immediately twisted it causing flames to erupt from the ground as Acnologia immediately stopped in place.
"Fire Dragon's Iron Fist!"
Emerging from the flames, Natsu sent another powerful strike at his opponent, this time however, Acnologia managed to stand in place before grabbing Natsu tightly. The Dragon Prince grunted in pain as he mustered all of his strength in order to wedge his way out of the dragon's grasp. Acnologia then proceeded to slam her fist to the ground.
"I'm right over here!" someone shouted as Acnologia turned towards the source of the voice and there she saw Natsu Dragneel, his entire body engulfed in flames.
"Dragon Slayer's Secret Arts: Crimson Lotus: Exploding Flame Blade!"
Natsu swiped his arms in a circular fashion, creating a powerful, and highly destructive, torrent of flames which headed towards Acnologia, who took the full brunt of the attack as she crashed into the ground.
"Take this!" Natsu leapt into the air right above the downed figure of the black dragon, his sword in his hands as he descended towards her. However, before he could even reach her, Acnologia's tail managed to grab a hold of Natsu before the appendage slammed him into a building.
"I'm really starting to hate tails…" Natsu muttered to himself as he got up from the building, wiping the blood from his mouth as he glared at the Dragon of Apocalypse, more so on the device on her neck.
'I need to get rid of that device controlling her, maybe then I'll be able to end the battle.' The ravenette thought to himself as he charged in for another attack.
"Re-quip!" summoning his sword, it was immediately engulfed in intense torrents of flames as the ravenette started slashing the air, which caused the flames to fly around the air before it started heading towards Acnologia.
Acnologia managed to destroy the flames with her claws, before firing off a massive blast from her mouth directly at Natsu who gripped his sword tightly before making an upward slash, cutting it into half. The Dragon Prince immediately launched himself up by firing off torrents of flames from his hands until he reached the height of Acnologia's head.
"Fire Dragon's Claw!" Engulfing his leg with flames, the Dragon Slayer immediately slammed it on the dragon's head causing her to flinch before she swatted him away as if he was a fly. Natsu immediately somersaulted mid-air and landed safely on the wall of the buildings before pushing himself towards Acnologia again.
"Fire Dragon's Iron Fist!" Using his momentum, Natsu managed to land a flaming fist directly on Acnologia's face, and this time was able to knock her down. Using this opportunity, "Fire Dragon's Brilliant Flames!"
Natsu then threw the large fireball straight at Acnologia. In response, Acnologia quickly got up and charged straight towards the attack before immediately destroying it with only a single slash.
'Tch, guess she finally decided to go all out now? Well two can play at that game!' Natsu thought with a smirk as he activated his Lightning Flame Mode once again.
"Lightning Flame Dragon Firing Hammer!" Natsu then lunged towards the Dragon of Apocalypse, sending a fiery fist cloaked in lightning at her, though she managed to stand her ground before sending a punch of her own at him. Natsu quickly crossed his arms in the shape of an 'X' which managed to reduce the damage dealt, but the force of her punch was still able to send him into a wall.
"Tch, you bastard…" Natsu glared heatedly at the dragon who was in the sky, clenching his fists tightly he inhaled some air, "Lightning Flame Dragon's Roar!" Natsu then gathered and combined both electricity and flames in his mouth, subsequently releasing them in a large and powerful burning and sparking blast at Acnologia.
Acnologia stared at the incoming attack before adjusting the position of her body in order to dodge the attack, but due to her massive size, the attack managed to clip her wings which caused her to descend.
"Dragon Slayer's Secret Arts: Crimson Lotus: Exploding Lightning Blade!" Natsu then engulfs one hand in lightning and the other in flames. Natsu then swipes his arms in a circular fashion, creating a powerful vortex of fire and lightning sent towards Acnologia.
The mighty dragon was engulfed in the attacked as she roared out in pain before a thick cloud of smoke formed, Natsu could only stare and wait patiently for the blast to subside. His eyes widened when he saw an arm stretched out to grab him, but he managed to jump back it could happen. Natsu saw Acnologia snarling at him from the ground and he was glad that it was his mother who had healed him. If it had been any other dragon, he would have lost long ago due to his exhaustion. After all, the Blessings of the Dragon was a skill that only she could use, one which healed the target completely and even removes the fatigue of one's body. However,
'Even if I'm healed, there's no point in it if I can't defeat it.' Natsu thought before shutting his eyes tightly.
Guess he had no other choice.
"I hoped it wouldn't come to this, but let's see if the King is capable of standing up against the Prince! Dragon Prince Mode!" a swirl of black flames engulfed the ravenette and the moment the flames died down, Acnologia was immediately sent crashing into the ground and floating above her, was none other than Natsu Dragneel who smirked at her.
"Surprised? Well you should be, because from here on out, it's not going to be as easy as you thought."
Whether the dragon was able to register his words into her mind or not, she roared angrily at him firing off a massive breath at him to which Natsu dodged by flying away from the attack before immediately diving down towards her, "Fire Dragon's Claw!"
Engulfing his leg with flames, Natsu immediately struck a direct hit on the dragon's head and she immediately retaliated by swiping her hand at him to which he avoided by flying above.
"Fire Dragon's Roar!" The Dragon Prince quickly got back into action by firing a torrent of flames straight at Acnologia who withstood the attack before firing back with her own breath attack. The two attacks collided which resulted in a power struggle before it eventually died down.
"Fire Dragon's Wing Attack!"
Natsu then brought out his two hands and flames start to gather around his hands which then resembled a Dragon's wing, Natsu then swung his hands, causing the flames to be fired at Acnologia's direction.
Acnologia then flapped her wings as she soared upwards, avoiding Natsu's attack.
"Oh no you don't! Fire Dragon's Roar!" The Dragon Slayer immediately fired off a torrent of flames from his mouth at the dragon who crashed to the ground after taking a direct hit.
"With a flame on the right hand... and a flame on the left hand... When you combine the flames together..." Natsu chanted with his eyes closed as he opened them, "Fire Dragon's Brilliant Flames!"
The ravenette threw the fireball at his opponent who immediately fired a massive beam, which engulfed Natsu's attack, but didn't stop there as it headed straight for Natsu.
Natsu grunted as he quickly dodged the attack headed for him, as he re-quipped his sword, "Fire Dragon's Sword Arts: Exploding Slash!"
The flames headed straight for Acnologia immediately wrapped themselves around Acnologia and the Dragon Prince immediately closed his palm which caused them to explode, engulfing the dragon in the blast.
Though, not a few moments later, a massive blast was then fired towards Natsu who immediately Natsu stabbed the ground with his sword which created a massive firewall that managed to completely block the attack before Natsu charged in at the black dragon who swiped her arm at the Dragon Prince who barely managed to roll out of the way before getting up and flew towards her.
'This fight really has gone on for far too long!' the ravenette thought to himself, gritting his teeth as he quickly flew up a building and swiped his hands forward, firing off a torrent of flames from his hands at her. Though she managed to avoid it with ease before swinging her tail at him.
Natsu flew up in order to dodge the attack before igniting both his hands again, "I'm not done yet!" he yelled before throwing it at Acnologia once more.
Acnologia merely flew above as she concentrated on her magical power around her mouth, but the Dragon Prince anticipated this with a smirk, "Fire Dragon's Sword Horn!"
Natsu then engulfed his entire body ablaze but before he could even reach her, Acnologia swung her fist at his direction, causing him to stop his attack midway in order to fly above her punch and to fire off a torrent of flames at her, which pushed her towards the ground.
'Damn it, I really didn't want to use this against her.' The Dragon Prince thought to himself as he stared at the scales on his skin before his gaze fell on the large dragon who roared out angrily at him.
Natsu's fists clenched tightly as the iris of his eyes started turning red before the ravenette quickly slapped his cheeks, 'Focus and don't lose control. Remember what mom told you before.'
Flashback
"What do you mean I'm not allowed to use my Dragon Prince mode against Acnologia?" Natsu asked in disbelief as he stared at his mother. It was a day before the Dragon King's Festival, the day that Acnologia would arrive to Crocus in order to destroy everything in her sights.
Surely she had to be joking. He hadn't been able to deal a single damage to it before while was using a quarter of his strength and now she was telling him to not go all out against the strongest dragon to have ever existed? It was outrageous!
Lumina sighed, "I can tell that you're upset by this news Natsu, but I wouldn't tell you this without a reason." Natsu raised an eyebrow at her, as if telling to her to go on.
"I'm sure you know that when activating your Dragon Prince Mode, it would mean that you're giving up a part of your humanity in order to activate your true powers, right?" Natsu nodded his head at this as Lumina continued,
"Well, consider that mode another part of you, a more feral and out of control version of you, and the moment it senses an opponent with equal, if not more power than it, it'll immediate react to it."
"So you're worried that when I activate my Dragon Prince Mode while facing Acnologia, I'll lose myself to this…"other" me and go out of control?" Natsu theorised, getting a nod from the dragon which caused him to sigh as he scratched his head.
"Well this is going to be a massive pain then, facing Acnologia without fighting at full strength…guess I'll just have to use the entirety of Crocus as the battlefield in order to get the upper hand." A frown appeared on the dragon's face as she thought back to the visions she would have of her son battling against the Dragon of Apocalypse. Never had there been a time when her visions turned out to be wrong, so she knew the battle would be unavoidable.
She just wished she was able to provide some form of help but she knew that due to meeting with the dragon council, she was unable to interfere with the battle, and even if she were to play a hand in it, Acnologia was much stronger than she ever was, the only one with an inkling of a chance against her was Natsu, unfortunately.
Natsu, noticing the look of discomfort on his mother's face, decided to voice out, "Mom, are you alright? Is something wrong?" The concern in his voice helped snapped her out of the small trance she had as she shook her head, "Nothing I was merely wondering how you plan on battling Acnologia with your friends in town."
"That's not a problem anymore." Natsu said closing his eyes as he wrapped his arms, piquing the dragon's interest.
"Oh, how so?"
"Mavis Vermillion, the first guild master of Fairy Tail. The moment she catches word that the guild is in trouble, she'd do anything to make sure they're safe. Which is the exact same case for us during those seven years at Tenroujima Island. Unfortunately, I had to reveal my identity to her in order for her to cooperate."
"It was bound to happen anyways, Natsu." causing him to sigh in defeat, "I know it was…but if possible I didn't want to know that about me at all."
Lumina knew the fear that her son had, sometimes he really was easy to read, "If you're worried about how they'll feel about you then you shouldn't. Only your true companions would judge you for who you are."
Natsu smiled at her appreciatively with a nod before a teasing smile appeared on the dragon's face, "Besides you're already very lovey-dovey with your mate all the time, I didn't think you'd care about others."
The Dragon Prince's face immediately turned slightly red as he looked away from her, grumbling, which caused her to chuckle before Natsu turned towards the clock on the wall, "I guess it's time for me to head out before my friends get suspicious of me. After all, no one takes THAT much time in a toilet anyway." Natsu joked as he began walking out the room.
"I can only wish you luck Natsu. Please take care of yourself when fighting her."
"Don't worry about me, I'll be perfectly fine!"
Flashback Ends
'Guess I spoke too soon after all, since she came all the way to heal me.' Natsu thought with a sigh, knowing that he would be lectured by his mother soon.
But he'll worry about that once he gets there, for now…, there was someone he needed to beat.
His instincts suddenly yelled out to him as he shifted his body to the side, just in time to avoid the tail that Acnologia had swung at him.
"Fire Dragon's Iron Fist!" Natsu, using his wings in order to grant him a greater momentum, engulfed his fists with flames as he descended towards Acnologia who immediately sent a punch at his direction, to which he managed to avoid before slamming a flaming fist directly on her face, sending her crashing into the ground, creating a giant crater.
"Fire Dragon's-" However, before he could even execute the move, Acnologia immediately wrapped her tail around Natsu's leg before slamming him into the ground in return.
The ravenette yelped in pain, but things got worse for the Dragon Prince when the dragon grabbed a hold of him tightly. Acnologia proceeded to slam the Dragon Prince into the ground, causing him to cough out a mouthful of blood, but she continued to press down on him, causing the ground beneath him to shatter. Natsu struggled against her grip, doing his best to break free, but to no avail.
That was when,
Power…MORE POWER!
'No…I must…resist…the temptation!' Natsu thought to himself with gritted teeth, however no matter how hard he tried, his eyes eventually turned completely red before a massive torrent of flames engulfed him, forcing Acnologia to remove her hand from him and fly back when a torrent of flames headed towards her direction.
She looked down to see the dark red outline surrounding the Dragon Prince, his bangs covering his eyes before he looking up towards the sky and released a monstrous roar which resonated across the entire city.
Location: Crocus (Alleyway)
'Was that Natsu?' Kei thought to herself, her head looking towards the direction where the roar came from, a worried frown present on her face before she shook her head.
'I need to have faith in him, I know he can do it!' with that, she carried on tending the wounds of the unconscious trio, Happy, Sachi and her sister, Leila.
Location: Crocus (Main Street)
Natsu's eyes landed at the dragon in front of him, a rather menacing growl escaped from his lips as he looked down on her with bloodlust, similar to that of a monster, and with a cry he flew towards the dragon.
Acnologia immediately fired off a massive breath towards him, but the Dragon Prince merely engulfed his entire body in flames, cutting through the attack as if it were nothing before slamming himself directly towards her chest, sending her crashing into the ground.
The moment she emerged from the rubble, she barely managed to avoid a fire beam which had been shot out from the ravenette's mouth, before firing out a breath attack of her own only for him to avoid it before shooting downwards onto her with his fists engulfed with flames.
The ground tore apart as the beams went across the battlefield which only prompted the uncontrolled Dragon Prince to raise his right arm before a large dome of fire erupted in front of him, meeting her attacks head-on.
A huge explosion resulted as their attacks collided with each other, creating another large smokescreen, which prompted Acnologia to take it into the sky.
Her eyes widened in shock when she noticed Natsu immediately appearing right behind her with a flame-coated fist aimed towards her.
Acnologia quickly shifted her body, as Natsu shot past her, only missing her by just a few inches before slamming down to the ground, resulting a tremor and he growled when he realised he missed his attacks as he roared out into the night sky.
It truly was a battle between monsters.
Acnologia then sent a punch at him, but he managed to block it, but the force still caused him to tumble a few meters away from her but he recovered just in time before dashing straight towards her once again.
Acnologia immediately fired off a massive breath at him, generating another explosion. Acnologia waited for the dust settle before she caught his scent above her. Looking up at the night sky, clasping his hands together before forming a massive dark red fireball that is large enough to even level the entire town in one shot.
The dragon fired off another breath attack at the Dragon Prince who immediately stopped his attack before flying downwards in order to avoid it.
Natsu immediately flew underneath her legs, before emerging from behind her, where he proceeded to grab the tail and without any hints of struggle, he began lifting the dragon and spun around before throwing her into a nearby building, the rubble dropping onto her body and as Natsu was about to go in for another attack on his foe, he suddenly stopped, his body stood still.

Natsu stared at the figure standing in front of him, who was cackling maniacally, with narrowed eyes. The reason?
He looked exactly like him after all, with the only difference was that his eyes were completely different, his sclera was a deep black while his iris were a bright red.
"So you're the "other self" that mom told me about…" Natsu muttered under his breath, something 'Natsu' managed to hear before scoffing.
"It seems like we've finally meet. If this turns out to be the real you who controls me, I would've stomp on you and take over your body myself long ago."
"Huh, well sorry but that's not going to happen, but could you do me a favour and return my body back? It's been a rough day and it'll only be worse the longer we stay here." Natsu said, getting into his battle stance, something his fellow ravenette did as well with a smirk on his face which caused him to sigh, "A shame…" With that said, the two then charged at each other,
"Fire Dragon's Iron Fist! / Fire Dragon's Iron Fist!"
Both Natsu's engulfed their fists in flames, sending a barrage of punches at each other, yet none of them were able to connect a single blow.
"It's no use, we both use the same style to fight each other! Just accept the fact that your body is now mine!"
"Sorry to say, but that'll never happen in this timeline!" With that Natsu inhaled some air, something 'Natsu' did as well, "Fire Dragon's Roar!" the two fired off a torrent of flames at each other but like before, it proved to be fruitless as both skidded back after another power struggle.
The two carried on their fight for a while, throwing out every move they had in their arsenal in order to gain the upper hand in the battle, but that hadn't been the case whatsoever. The two of them panted heavily, yet neither looked like they were about to throw in the towel just yet.
"Why carry on to fight when I represent your innermost desires?! You wish for nothing more but power. Power in order to crush your foes, so that no one else can stand against you, so that no one will ever underestimate you ever again." 'Natsu' yelled as Natsu's bangs covered his eyes, he remained unmoving, the words of his other self, ran through his mind. 'Natsu' was about to speak again, had it not been for the Dragon Prince to suddenly break the silence with his laughter, catching the red eyed figure off guard.
"And what do you think is so funny?"
"You might be my other self, but that doesn't mean we both want the same thing." His words caused 'Natsu' to raise an eyebrow at him, "Then if gaining more power isn't what you desire, then what is?"
Natsu smiled as he closed his eyes, the smiling face of Kei came to mind, "What I desire most is to use the power I have in order to protect the one I love no matter what. To keep her safe above all else for she means the world to me." 'Natsu' scoffed at the answer he received but even he could not stop the small smile which formed on his face as his body began to glow brightly.
"Make sure to remember that, otherwise I might just come back and take total control of you." Those were his lasts words before he vanished into thin air while the Dragon Prince began glowing brightly as well.
"I definitely will…"
Reality
Acnologia slowly emerged from the debris, and with a low growl she stared at her opponent whose hair covered his eyes. The dragon was about to charge in for an attack like she was meant to, but for some odd reasons, she didn't. It was almost as if she was caught in a spell, and all she could do was stare.
Natsu slowly opened his eyes, revealing his black orbs and he looked around the city and couldn't help but sweat drop when he witnessed the mass destruction his and Acnologia's fight had caused.
'It's definitely going to take years for Crocus to return to how it was before, after all of this damage.'
A roar from Acnologia broke Natsu from his small trance as he turned towards her, only to see her flying towards him at a fast speed. Natsu wordlessly extended his hand towards her, firing off a massive torrent of flames from it which caused her to shift her body in order to dodge the attack, and that small amount of time was all Natsu needed for him to appear in front of her before sending a flaming fist directly on her face which sent her crashing into the ground.
"Sorry about that small delay, it is quite rude of me to do that to a woman… shall we resume our dance?" Natsu said with a smirk as flames danced around him while Acnologia slowly got up and roared at him.
Location: Hall of Dragons
"Thank goodness he managed to snap out of it…" Lumina breathed out a sigh of relieve when she saw her son's eyes return back to normal. She feared that when he lost himself to the power, he would never return to his former self again. Fortunately, that hadn't been the case at all.
However, "Even if he managed to break free from his chains, it still doesn't change the fact that Acnologia is controlled by someone and won't stop until she is defeated…"
The vision she had previously suddenly came to mind, but she shook her head defiantly. There was no way it was going to turn out the way it did. Natsu had always been the one to go against the odds, and she believes-, no she KNOWS, that he will come out of it alive.
With that in mind, the dragon decided to turn her attention back to the crystal ball in front of her where the image of the battle was being played.
Location: Unknown Forest
The tension in the forest was so thick that it could be cut by a broad axe, but for reasonable reasons after all, they had just run away and left behind one of their own to fight and die against the Dragon of Apocalypse.
The members of Fairy Tail, especially those who were closest with Natsu, were crying their eyes out and many of them blamed themselves for his death, especially Gajeel, Laxus and Wendy who were all Dragon Slayers like the ravenette, yet all they could do was watch while he fought against the Dragon of Apocalypse, and didn't, couldn't, help him in the fight.
"Was running away the only option we had?" Sting broke the silence in a monotone, looking away from the rest of the group, but one could clearly see the blonde shaking, his fists clenched tightly. Mavis could only close her eyes and sigh, turning to Makarov who sighed as well.
"Sting, we know you're upset about what happened, and believe me when I say, that we all are as well, but it's the only way for us to ensure our survival."
"Then what about Natsu?! Why was he allowed to fight while we had to run away?!" The Fairy Tail members all flinched when his name was brought up, even Mavis couldn't help but frown at his name, yet Makarov stood strong, a composed look on his face.
"It's because Natsu was stronger than every one of us here combined, besides…" a murderous look appeared on the old man's face which caused Sting to flinch when he felt the thick, potent magical power emitted by him.
"Do you really think that I'd be willing to sacrifice one of my children? I love every member in my guild as if they were my very own family and if you think that I'm happy with such a decision then I'll show you just how wrong you are." The old man threatened and the Light Dragon Slayer immediately turned away with a growl.
"Running away makes me feel like a coward though…" he muttered under his breath, and the only people who heard this were the Dragon Slayers and Makarov, which caused a small smile to appear on the guild master's face.
He resembled of a much younger Natsu in more ways than one.
"There's a difference between being a coward and being foolish, Sting. Despite what you might believe, a coward is strong for they know their weakness and they know when they should run away in order to carry on surviving, and in this line of work, surviving is all that should matter. Natsu knew the risk of taking on Acnologia by himself, especially right after taking on the future Rogue and the dragons he summoned, and that can be considered as foolish." Sting remained silent, the old man's words resonating in his mind.
Mavis, the only one of the lot to know the truth behind the Dragon Prince, remained silent as she closed her eyes, 'No, his decision wasn't out of foolishness, it was one of righteousness, because he knows that there isn't any other choice but to stay back and fight, allowing the others who are incapable of fighting her to run away.'
Natsu Dragneel, what a noble soul he was.
"Hold on a second." Kagura suddenly voiced out, catching everyone's attention as they turned to her, "I can see Acnologia from here and it's…fighting someone?"
Everyone turned their attention towards Crocus and true to her words, they could see the dragon firing off a breath attack at someone, since they were too far, they couldn't tell who it was.
"Do you think that…" although the sentence hadn't been finished, each and every one of them thought the same thing.
Location: Crocus (Main Street)
"Fire Dragon's Wing Attack!"
Acnologia avoided the flames with ease as she flew straight towards Natsu sending a punch at him, and flames engulfed Natsu's fist.
"Fire Dragon's Iron Fist!" The two punches clashed as an explosion resulted in their collision, and there was a power struggle enveloping the area in destruction. Eventually, an explosion blew them away from each other as Natsu puffed out his cheeks, "Fire Dragon's Roar!" A torrent of flames was then fired at Acnologia's direction who immediately flew over the attack.
Natsu quickly expanded his wings and flew back in order to create some distance between them, but Acnologia carried her chase after him.
'If that's how you want to play it…!' Natsu decelerated, which allowed Acnologia to close the distance and as she was about to grab him, Natsu quickly ducked under her arm,
"Dragon Slayer's Secret Arts: Crimson Lotus Exploding Flame Blade!"
The mighty dragon was engulfed in the attacked as she roared out in pain before a thick cloud of smoke formed, Natsu could only stare and wait patiently for the blast to subside.
Though it proved to be a mistake when Acnologia emerged through the smoke and sent a punch at the unsuspecting Dragon Prince, who immediately crashed into a wall, creating a crater in it before dropping to the ground, some rubble falling atop of him.
Natsu grunted as he slowly got up and his eyes widened when he saw the dragon charging up her magical power to where her mouth was and Natsu gritted his teeth when he realised the position he was in and immediately closed his eyes, waiting for the inevitable.

Yet it never came.
Slowly opening his eyes, Natsu could see Acnologia panting heavily as she released what seemed to be a pained cry, 'Her body's been put to the limits...!' Natsu thought, feeling bad for the dragon. Whoever had control of Acnologia, was using her as their weapon and it was a fate he wouldn't wish upon to anyone, not even to her.
'Well, I hope that you'll forgive me for this, Acnologia, but I have to defeat you right here and now!' Natsu thought to himself, closing his eyes as a black outline surrounded him, and the moment he opened his eyes a monstrous magical power suddenly engulfed him.
Acnologia, feeling the surge of magical power from her opponent, immediately roared out loudly, her eyes glowing brightly before firing a massive orb into the sky before it erupted, thousands of stars now falling down onto Natsu's direction.
"This is the end! Dragon Prince's Secret Arts: Draconic Destruction!" Natsu raised a hand out at the stars falling down on him before a massive beam of flames was shot out from his hand.
The attack immediately engulfed every star, igniting it even more which increased its size as Acnologia could only stare at the incoming attack before she was completely engulfed in the attack.
A loud roar resonated across the empty city as Acnologia fell from the sky, crashing onto the ground with a loud thud. The dark scales all around her body were completely charred and one might even think her to be dead had it not been for the soft sound of her heartbeat.
Natsu panted heavily as he stared up into the dark blue skies above, his body glowing brightly as he returned to his original appearance. He slowly pushed himself up as he limped towards the unmoving figure of Acnologia. As soon as he reached the dragon's large body, he immediately engulfed his hands with flames as he grabbed a hold of the device on her neck, pulling it out and crushed it in his hands, dropping the small scrapes of metal to the ground.
'Well at least it's finally over.' Natsu thought to himself in relief as he collapsed to the ground right next to the unconscious dragon.
"Natsu!" he could vaguely hear someone calling out to him, getting his head off the ground he lay facing upward to the sky and slightly raised it a little seeing two familiar figures running towards him while a third and fourth figure were flying.
He smiled in relief when he saw them safe before peacefully laid down his head on the ground again and closed his eyes in order to get some rest.
If anything, it was the best reward he could ask for.
