The key immediately dropped out of Summer's hand.

Taiyang and the woman immediately stopped at the noise.

"..why.." The quiet voice of Summer questioned to him.

Both hastily put on their clothes.

"I wanted to tell you eventually..didn't want it to get out like this." A now fully clothed Taiyang replied back.

Summer was silent at that statement. So he's been doing this..but for how long??

"Since we've been married..y'know I can easily read you like a book Summer. The kids are with their uncle..I packed their things and now I want all of you to move out." Taiyang said uncaringly.

"..." Summer was silent. She felt empty? Heartbroken? Dejected? Emotional?

Too many feelings and emotions to settle on one particular word.

"I know you wonder why Summer..well it's because I just used you to fill the void that was inside me when Raven left. Now you are no longer useful." Taiyang coldly said. "So leave or I'll make you. Your things are with the kids."

"..you would leave your own children like that?" Summer questioned monotonous to the stranger in front of her. All those feelings, words, and time..were a lie. Everything was a lie.

Taiyang narrowed his eyes. "Tch I wish they were never born. I'm trying to finish what I was doing, so since you are taking too long-" he approached her and tried to forcibly grab Summer's shoulder with his hand. "I'll make you lea-"

Taiyang suddenly let out a roar of pain as his wrist was grabbed hard.

"Filth like you don't deserve to live." Sasuke said as he focused his killing intent on the vermin before him. His Dojutsu were raging with power.

Taiyang couldn't catch his breath and felt like he was being crushed under the massive power.

"Sasuke..let's go."

Sasuke stopped what he was doing as he heard Summer's light voice. He glanced her way and could see her standing with her head down.

He knew that it would probably be best for them to indeed leave or he would do something he wouldn't regret.

He walked towards Summer and lifted her bridal style. Summer gently leaned her head against his chest.

Sasuke shot Taiyang a deadly final glare, before he left with Summer in his arms.

Taiyang was petrified and wondered who exactly the man was. He was dangerous, very dangerous.

The woman beside him felt differently. She had a blush on her face and wondered who the handsome and mysterious man was that left.

-Outside-

Summer clutched on her chest as she cried hard in Sasuke's arms.

Sasuke could understand her pain and just held her close in support.

He thought she was strong..to be able to hold everything in until both of them left. Once outside though, everything came out and he meant everything.

"I-I'm s-sorry -sniff- I d-didn't mean to g-get your c-clothes -sniff- wet." Summer shakily and apologetically said.

Sasuke looked at her. She was for more or less an emotional wreck, but like he said, he could empathize with her.

"Don't be. Just..let everything out and take all the time you need." He said. This definitely wasn't his expertise, but he could still offer his help in anyway he could.

Summer slowly nodded and leaned back into his chest. Sasuke emitted Chakra around his body to make her feel warm.

He noticed that it made her drift off to sleep. That was good. The sleep should settle her mind a bit.

Sasuke could say that situation was completely unexpected.

Of course he had a bad feeling, but something like that never crossed his mind.

According to Summer's memories 'Qrow' should be in the kingdom of Vale at this particular time. Summer's kids had to be with him. He was on his way there.

Sasuke suddenly paused. 'Grimm are near. They must have been attracted to the negative feelings and energy put out when we were at the house.' He thought as his guard went up.

The Grimm completely surrounded them in all areas. They were various shapes and sizes. From the smallest like Boarbatusk to the largest like Goliaths.

This would be slightly more difficult with Summer in his arms, but he could manage. He held Summer in his right arm and held his new Kusanagi sword in his left. Lightning Chakra encased it.

He coldly glared at the Grimm and silently waited for them to make the first move.

A courageous but foolish Boarbatusk was the first Grimm that decided to charge at him.

With FTL speed Sasuke slashed his Lightning Kusanagi in one movement. It was so fast that it looked like he didn't even move.

He watched as the Boarbatusk split into two perfectly symmetrical parts.

"Who's next?" He calmly questioned as he looked around.

ROARR

All the Grimm charged at him simultaneously.

Sasuke smirked. It seemed they did have some sort of common sense in those heads of theirs. Attacking him at the same time from all sides.

It was genius and would've worked on someone who wasn't himself.

Unfortunately for the creatures of destruction, they were facing destruction itself.

Sasuke held Summer tight and got in a running stance with his Lightning Kusanagi held to his side.

This sort of gave him deja vu of when he first came into this world. Now though, instead of using the Shinra Tensei against the Grimm, he will use the gravity to boost his speed even further.

It was something he recently learned how to do from training.

"Now." Sasuke said in a deadly whisper. Everything around him stopped. The charges from the Grimm, the blowing of the gentle wind, and even time itself. The only person and thing that were moving, was Sasuke himself and his signature weapon.

After killing all the Grimm in record time, Sasuke sheathed his Kusanagi with a loud

The Lighting Release Chakra dispersed from it.

Sasuke had to jump high in the air to avoid the different Grimm limbs, bones, teeth, and their body parts in general as they exploded in sync from his attack.

"..I've never seen Grimm Fireworks before.." A slightly awakened Summer said softly as she gazed at the carnage beneath them. "Looks awesome if I do say so myself."

Sasuke landed with ease after the aftermath.

"You've awakened. Are you ok-" Sasuke was interrupted by a loud LOUD bear like snore. It almost made him drop her.

He shook his head with an amused expression on his face. 'Back to sleep just like that huh?' He thought.

"Well now it's time for me to continue to Vale. It shouldn't take long with my speed." Sasuke said as he nodded to himself. He then bursted off in its direction, not even the dust could keep up with him.

-Cutscene-

In a dessert and bakery restaurant sat three people. One was the infamous Qrow, he had graying black, spiky hair, faded red eyes, and slight stubble along his jawline. Along with a red, tattered cloak, he wore a gray dress shirt with a long tail, black dress pants and black dress shoes.

Qrow sat with his two emotional and dejected nieces, Ruby Rose and Yang Xiao Long. Ruby was sweet and innocent and resembled her Mother, Summer Rose to a tee. Yang on the other hand was much more rambunctious and bright, she resembled her father, Taiyang Xiao Long.

Right now though, the emotions and feelings he could sense emanating from them almost made Qrow go back and kill Taiyang his damn self.

When Taiyang told him to come get his nieces because he was kicking them out..let's just say that sobered him up real quick and a sober him is more dangerous than a drunk him.

Fortunately for Taiyang, his own daughters that he disregarded and called useless, saved him from 'a dusty ole ass whooping.'

He glanced towards his nieces.

He could tell that this experience had a great damaging effect on their psychological health. Their spirits looked..broken and that saddened him to a great degree.

He could only imagine how Yang felt, knowing that both of her parents abandoned her..

At least Summer was still here right??

But even that was hard to say since they tried to get in contact with her, but had zero luck in doing so.

His thoughts paused as he heard the bell to the front door ring, signaling someone's entry.

"MOM?!" Ruby and Yang's voice yelled out simultaneously. They immediately ran to her. She was sitting in a booth next to the front door, she looked to be waking up.

Qrow's eyes widened with surprise and he hurriedly followed after them.

Summer's eyes fully opened up and she confusedly looked around.

"Wha..where am I-" She started and let out a groan as she was hugged tightly and she looked down to see that it was her beloved daughters hugging her.

She immediately hugged them back tightly. She could hear them shedding tears.

"Shh it's okay my babies. I'm here now." She said with the care only a loving Mother could give.

Qrow watched them with a relieved smile on his face. Words couldn't explain how glad he was to see her.

Summer glanced up and looked at Qrow. "Qrow? You're here too??"

Qrow nodded. "I was watching over them." He said in response.

Summer had to crush those particular memories down from entering the forefront of her mind.

Her eyes then suddenly widened. "Where's Sasuke??" She questioned immediately with worry, concern, and a sense of perturbation.

-Meanwhile-

The man in question himself, was walking away from the restaurant. He felt like his duty have been completed and didn't want to intrude on their family reunion.

He paused in his walk and his Onyx black eyes glanced back at the restaurant.

Something inside him told him that this was far from over with, but he let out a sigh and turned back around.

He continued his walk with a final thought in his head. 'Why do I care so much? This doesn't concern me.'

The foreign warmness inside him stated otherwise.

Sasuke!!"

Sasuke paused once again as he heard the familiar voice of Summer. He could sense the other three behind her.

"..." He didn't respond to her call, but slightly tilted his head in her direction so she knew he was listening.

Summer started to approach him slowly. "Y-You're leaving? But w-why??" She asked.

Sasuke could feel her distress and disquietude from all the way where he was standing. She was practically a whole bottle full of it and other emotions.

He turned to face her fully this time and tried to ignore her face expression. To his surprise, it was extremely hard to do so and his stoic demeanor almost cracked. Those pure and genuine Silver orbs of hers pierced his soul in ways he wasn't used to.

"My job here is done. I'm going to somewhere..else." He replied monotonously. He could see the immediate hurt in her eyes at his response. Definitely didn't make him feel any good about it.

Summer's head dropped down. She looked to be thinking and in contemplation about something.

"Can..we come with you?" She asked with extreme hope in her tone.

Sasuke raised an eyebrow at the question. He would've thought she'd agreed on what he had said. He didn't expect that she actually wanted to continue to stay by his side.

"But..why?" He asked her. He was genuinely curious on what her answer would be.

"I-It's just..I..don't want to be left alone. Not like this so..please." Summer was almost pleading to him.

Sasuke could say he actually felt a small tinge of pain in his chest at that and what happened next actually increased it by a good bit

"P-Please help our Mom out strong man.."

Another pair of silver eyes looked pleadingly at him as her daughter walked up next to her. Her other daughter had the same look and walked up to her other side.

Qrow himself watched the interaction and could feel a stabbing sensation inside his chest as their emotions made him feel wrong in the worse of ways. Looking at 'Sasuke' he could tell that he was a strong and experienced huntsman just by his stance and the type of aura he gave off. He must have done right by Summer for her to have an attachment to him.

The Last Uchiha had his answer already made up in his mind. He would take care of them. He would be by their side in the midst of this storm they are going through and he would most definitely provide them with the strength to keep pushing forward.

A genuine smile formed on his face as he opened his arms toward them. "You all can come with me." He said.

Joyful tears shed from Summer's eyes as she smiled widely and ran at Sasuke along with her daughters. They then hugged him tightly.

It was an embrace filled with love, safety, support, comfort, and compassion. The three needed it and Sasuke himself unknowingly needed it also.

This reminded him of his late family..his Mother, Father, and beloved brother..

He had to forcefully withhold the tears from falling from his eyes..he had to be strong for them

Qrow felt the new positive energy emanating from them and smiled a smile he hadn't in a long time. He felt proudness of the fact that he knew he wouldn't have to worry about Sasuke taking care of Summer and his nieces.

"Come join us Uncle Qrow!!"

He could hear the voice of Yang yell out to him. He chuckled.

'May as well.' He thought and went to them...
