Summary: Ianto enlists help in hiding Jack's presents.

Whenever a new Flufflet was ripe and ready for separation, Nosy would sneak away to its chosen spot in the Hub, a quiet place it had found while it was growing its first Flufflet. It wasn't that it felt the need to hide out of fear for its safety, or that of its offspring, it was simply that the separation process required complete concentration, which was easiest to achieve alone in the darkness.

Its hiding place was so good it had never been discovered, so when Ianto was having trouble hiding Jack's Christmas presents where his husband couldn't find them, Nosy offered to hide them for him.

"Aren't you getting me anything for Christmas?" Jack asked.

"Of course; your presents are wrapped and hidden in a very safe place." Ianto smiled smugly. "There's no way you're finding them this time, no matter how hard you look for them. You always spoil the surprise for yourself, but not this year."

"You sound very sure of yourself."

"I am. Even I don't know where they're hidden."

"How can you not know?" Jack asked, confused.

"Because I didn't hide them; Nosy did. I suspect it knows the Hub even better than I do."
