AmeMac: The Struggle is Real
"Stupid fish!" Alfred shouted, lifting the controller as though he was about to throw it.
He was playing Cuphead, and he just couldn't get past Cala Maria. It was really frustrating.
Alfred sighed, before he selected 'replay'. No matter what, he would beat this.
While he was playing, Chio arrived home. The brunet stared at the screen for a while as Alfred mashed the controllers, before he received that dreaded message again and he groaned in frustration.
"Having trouble?" Chio asked.
"This is hell," Alfred groaned.
"Can I try?"
Alfred handed the controller over.
"Knock yourself out," he said.
Chio took the controller, and Alfred watched in amazement as Chio beat it in the first try, only being hit once.
"H-how?" Alfred stuttered. "You… but…. Wha-…?"
Chio chuckled, before he pecked Alfred on the cheek.
"I'm pretty good at games, remember?" he said.
The prompt is: 'Person 1 is stuck on a level of a video game of your choice, and has been working on it for HOURS! Person 2 comes home from wherever to find Person 1 yelling at the TV screen. Person 2 asks if they can try, and Person 1 says that they can try just once. Person 2 beats it in one try, leaving Person 1 speechless. Person 2 responds by cuddling and kissing with Person 1 to make them feel better.'
My sister plays Cuphead, and I thought that the game and the prompt are a perfect match. So I asked her which level was a bitch to complete (she finished the game), and she immediately said Cala Maria (or the mermaid, in her words). She didn't even have to think about it.
