NedSwiss: Perfect Match
Netherlands and Switzerland were gathered in the Swiss nation's kitchen, planning out their next date – and how much it would cost, and who was going to pay.
"Alright," Netherlands said, "so, going biking during sunset – that one doesn't require any money."
"I'm fine with that," Switzerland said. "What about dinner?"
"We'll go Dutch."
"Each for himself."
"Exactly."
"Alright… What about the art gallery?"
"We can arrange it for an evening that works in our favour. There's supposed to be an open house at one of my galleries in the near future. I can pull some strings."
"That sounds good. And what about a moonlit stroll?"
"No money for something like that. Oh, but what about the bikes?"
"Then instead of a stroll, it's a moonlit bike trip. Streets should be quiet."
"…I think the open house would be around the time of a full moon. Shouldn't be a problem."
"Is that all we'll be doing?"
"Do you have any other plans?"
Switzerland pursed his lips.
"What are we going to do for breakfast?" he asked.
Netherlands smirked.
"We can make that my treat, to repay the favour," Netherlands said.
Switzerland rolled his eyes, a blush on his face.
…
Outside the kitchen, Liechtenstein sighed. Netherlands always had money-making plans, while her brother was focused on saving money. She knew that the two of them would make a good match ever since Belgium proposed the idea, but she never knew exactly how good of a match they would make.
Back in the days of Tangled Red Threads, this was probably the pairing that everyone agreed was a perfect match. Again, it didn't come out as I'd hoped, but a lot of emphasis on what would cost money on their date.
