Normanomania: Something More
Norway was lying on his side, his head propped up by his hand, staring at the sleeping Romano. The Italian was lying between Norway and Romania, and Romania was also watching over him, his position a perfect reflection of Norway's.
It had been hard, convincing Romano that they were both in love with him. Actually, Norway and Romania had already been in a relationship prior to that, but then Norway started feeling a longing for the fiery Italian. His relationship with Romania had suffered a bit, as Romania had also seemed to lose interest. They still loved each other, but neither of them had been present in the relationship.
Eventually they were forced to sit down and talk about it, and they both confirmed that they had fallen in love with someone else. But when they realised that it was the same person, they started thinking about the possibilities of making it work.
However, Romano had proven to be suspicious and stubborn. Romania and Norway had tried to woo him in their own ways. They started out by trying to spend time together, even though it was one at a time. But Romano had a lot of trust issues. And eventually, they realised what the problem was: Romano was used to people trying to get close to him for his brother, or his country, and he couldn't think that anyone would be interested in him. Even for something as simple as friendship.
It took a long time for them to convince him to start hanging out with the two of them, and they knew that they needed to take it slow with him. Eventually, he started to feel comfortable with the two of them. Comfortable enough to even be accepting of their flirting.
Until he found out that the two of them were in a relationship with each other.
He had been hurt, thinking that they were playing with his emotions. They had tried to console him, with little success, and for several days, it had been tense between them. Eventually, they had to ask England to help them. England was awkward when it came to emotional situations, but he was a romantic at heart. In other words, he was someone that could convince Romano about the integrity of the other two. He didn't have it in him to lie about something like this.
Reluctantly, Romano decided to give them a chance. It had been two months now, and though Romano had come to trust them, he was still confused by the whole situation.
"He's really beautiful when he sleeps," Romania whispered.
"He's always beautiful," Norway whispered back.
"You're right, of course."
"And you are too."
"I'm right?"
"You're beautiful."
Romania smiled.
"If Vino wasn't sleeping now, I would have reached out and kissed you," he said. "But it's been a long day."
Not to mention, it was the first time that Lovino allowed himself to sleep in the same bed with them. Neither of them was about to ruin that moment.
After thinking about it for some time, I decided to go on hiatus until the end of November. I just need a little time. This applies to all my stories.
