"Your place might be flat," Denmark said, "but it's got some nice views."
Netherlands scoffed, rolling his eyes, but he still appreciated the compliment. The two of them had decided to bike from one city to the next, specifically, they were travelling from Rotterdam to Den Haag. Denmark was the one that decided to take the scenic route.
To be honest, Netherlands didn't mind so much. It just meant that the two of them had more time alone together, doing something they both liked.
"Hey, why don't we race?" Denmark suggested, pedalling faster. "Loser has to buy the winner lunch for a week."
Netherlands frowned, before he started going faster as well. There was no way that he was going to pay for Denmark's lunch.
Just something that came to mind. And yes, I checked on the map to see if there were two cities close enough to bike to that also has nice scenery between the two.
