Felicest: Narcissist

Luciano was a narcissist. That was something that everyone agreed on. He didn't seem to have the capacity of caring for anyone except himself.

Which was why Feliciano was the best match for him.

When he first met his counterpart, he was openly hostile. He couldn't imagine that someone like Feliciano could possibly be the counterpart to someone like Luciano. He'd tried everything to break Feliciano down, but the other didn't seem to mind. Feliciano had the patience of a saint, and was determined to get Luciano to like him.

But even saints had a limit to their patience, and eventually, Feliciano snapped.

The moment had come as a surprise to Luciano. He didn't know that his airheaded, naïve counterpart could be so much like him. For the first time, Luciano started to see himself in Feliciano.

And he liked what he saw.

Since then, he was a lot friendlier towards Feliciano. Even allowed the other to hug him and cuddle up to him. He didn't know when it happened, but eventually, he started to fall in love.

He didn't care what the other nations had to say. He cared for Feliciano. The two were two sides of the same coin. Two halves of a whole. Yin and yang.

They belonged together.

And Luciano wouldn't let anyone say otherwise. Even if they accused him of being a narcissist – loving your counterpart was a form of narcissism, wasn't it? – he would still consider Feliciano to be the only one that was right for him.

Feliciano was the only one that Luciano would be capable of loving.

A bit darker near the end, but I think this is in line with Luciano. I wanted to explore the theme of narcissism and how it could be the reason why a 2P would fall in love with his 1P. 2PItaly seemed like the perfect fit.

And I found the name used for this pairing a few times.
