2PNyoCankraine: Out on the Ice
"A-are you s-sure about this?" Katyusha asked, clinging to the wall.
"Of course," Meg said. "Come on, don't you trust me?"
Meg had arranged to have the rink to herself, or rather, to herself and Katyusha. Since she had been practicing more than usual, the coach was willing to agree, as long as she smoothed the ice afterwards and cleaned everything up. She wasn't sure if her hockey coach knew exactly what she was planning to do, but figured that the older woman didn't want to know.
Imagine her shock when she found out that Katyusha had never gone skating before. That was something that needed to be rectified.
Katyusha still looked hesitant, but cautiously started to move her feet onto the ice, only to immediately slip, still holding onto the wall. Meg was with her in an instant, catching her.
"Don't worry," Meg said. "I've got you."
"D-don't let go!" Katyusha begged.
"I won't. Just hold onto me. We're going to glide, alright?"
Convincing Katyusha to let go of the wall was tricky, but once she did, Meg was careful when she started to lead her towards the middle of the rink. True to her words, they merely glided while Katyusha got used to the feeling of being on the ice. Slowly, Meg started to pick up speed, until they were practically dancing on the ice.
"See?" Meg asked. "This is fun."
Katyusha nodded her head, and Meg looked down at Katyusha's feet. Deeming her ready, she slowly pulled away.
Katyusha yelped as she tried to force herself to stop, thankfully keeping her feet still. Meg smiled as Katyusha came to a complete stop.
"I-I thought you said you wouldn't let go!" Katyusha exclaimed.
"But look at you," Meg said. "You're standing on the ice."
Katyusha looked down, and when she realised that she wasn't falling over, a smile slowly started to blossom. Meg grabbed her hand.
"Come on," she said. "I'll help you get the hang of it, and then you'll be able to skate on your own."
"Could we… like before?" Katyusha asked. "It reminded me of dancing."
Meg smiled.
"Of course," she said. "Once you show me that you can move on your own."
The prompt is: 'Imagine person A of your OTP is really good at hockey/figure skating. Person B isn't. A somehow convinces B to go ice skating with them. Even though B isn't great at it, they have fun and A thinks they're adorable.'
