ThaiPol: A Drink
Feliks sighed into his drink. He had just been harassed by a guy who assumed that he was a woman – and, alright, he was wearing a skirt and everything – but the moment Feliks corrected him and said that he was a man, the guy had gone with all of the slurs that Feliks was too familiar with. At least the bartender had the common sense to have the guy thrown out.
It was fairly typical, and Feliks was starting to get tired of all of this. He just hoped that he would be able to find a guy who wouldn't mind the fact that he was a man that enjoyed dressing as a woman. Someone that would be interested in a relationship.
He finished his drink, and he debated whether or not to get another.
"Can I buy you a drink?"
Feliks jumped at the voice, and turned to see an Asian man sitting down beside him.
"Um, like, just so you know, I'm a man," Feliks said.
"I know," the man said. "I'm from Thailand. One learns to tell the difference."
"And… you still want to buy me a drink?"
The man's smile widened.
"Let's just say, I want to get to know you better," he said. "Unless you have a problem with it?"
Feliks smiled and shook his head.
"No," he said. "Like, I'm Feliks."
"Kasem."
