EstLux: Lunch Date
"Where shall we sit?" Eduard asked, holding the lunch tray.
"I reserved us a place," Henri said. "Follow me."
The Estonian frowned, before following after the Luxembourgian. To his surprise, there was a table in the far corner where no one was sitting, but someone had decorated it with candles and even a small bouquet of roses.
"What is this?" Eduard asked.
"I decided to make our lunch special," Henri explained. "And I wanted it to feel like a proper date."
Eduard looked down at his lunch with an arched eyebrow.
"You think you can make chicken nuggets and French fries feel like a date?" Eduard asked.
"Are you saying that you don't think we can have a romantic moment with something so modest?" Henri asked.
Eduard thought about it, before shaking his head. Obviously, Henri had done some work on this. So he sat down, with Henri sitting down across from him.
"So, how did you even manage this, anyway?" Eduard asked. "I mean, the table, for example?"
"I recruited Elizaveta," Henri said.
Eduard flinched, before he realised that Henri had certainly gotten the right person. Though he was sure his face turned an interesting shade of red when Roderich, a good friend of Elizaveta, came by with a violin, his face a similar colour. There were two things one should know about Elizaveta: she was a romantic at heart, and she could get scary if she didn't get her way. It was safer to go along with her crazy schemes, and if you were to get her on board with your own crazy scheme, you would have a powerful ally.
But strangely, he felt that this lunch date was perfect, once he got over his embarrassment.
The prompt is: 'Person A and B having a romantic lunch date over school cafeteria chicken nuggets and cold French fries.'
