EngCanPanMano: The Debate

When Matthew went to the living room, it was to find Arthur and Lovino bickering about something. Kiku just sat there with a bemused look on his face.

"What's going on?" Matthew asked.

"Finally!" Lovino exclaimed. "Someone that can give us an answer. Matteo, should the toilet paper be over or under?"

Matthew just stared at the two before he uttered the only word that came to mind.

"Huh?"

"They're arguing about which way the toilet paper should go," Kiku sighed. "Arthur believes that it should go over, while Lovino believes that it should go under."

"It's easier to grab and roll if it's under," Lovino asserted.

"Are you crazy?" Arthur demanded. "If it goes under, the edge is closer to the wall. How often do we clean the walls?"

"If that happens, then you were rough. No need to be so aggressive when grabbing toilet paper."

"Why does this even matter?" Matthew asked. "I mean, as long as there is toilet paper, what does it matter if it goes over or under?"

"Exactly," Kiku agreed.

Arthur and Lovino rolled their eyes, before continuing their bickering. Matthew sighed, an idea forming in his mind.

"What's going on?" Arthur asked.

It was the day after Arthur and Lovino had that debate about the toilet paper rolls, and they noticed something going on in the bathroom. The two went over to investigate, where they found Matthew and Kiku working on something near the toilet.

"What the hell are you two doing?" Lovino asked.

Kiku and Matthew turned towards them, and they could finally see what was going on.

"Why are there two toilet paper holders?" Arthur asked.

"One for over, and one for under," Matthew explained. "Of course, that means that the two of you are on toilet paper duty. You just need to decide which is left and which is right."

Arthur sighed while Lovino groaned.

"Was this really necessary?" Lovino asked.

"For our sakes, yes," Kiku replied.

I got the idea for this when my father and sister had the toilet paper debate. My sister is under, and my dad is over. My opinion: as long as there is toilet paper, who cares?
