SwissViet: Hot Chocolate
Vash was preparing to pick up Lien at the airport when his phone rang. He arched his eyebrow when he saw that it was Lien's number, wondering if she was calling him on the plane.
"Hey," he greeted. "I'm just about to go to the airport. Are you still in flight?"
"I'm already here," Lien explained. "I'm waiting outside."
Vash frowned, before checking the time on his watch. His eyes widened when he realised that it wasn't ticking, and he checked the time on his phone. He swore.
"My watch stopped," he explained. "I'm on my way. You should probably go back inside where it's warm."
Vash drove as fast as the speed limit would allow, and about twenty minutes later he reached the airport. And when he reached the entrance, he was alarmed to see that Lien was standing outside. The weather had been growing colder, and Lien wasn't wearing an appropriate coat.
"I told you to wait inside," Vash scolded.
Lien shrugged, before shivering. Vash sighed, grabbing one of her bags.
"Come on then," he said.
When they reached his home, he left her to get settled in the guestroom while he went to make her some hot chocolate. He brought it up to her when it was finished, and he saw that she was wearing a coat now but still shivering.
"Here," Vash said, handing the mug of hot chocolate to her.
She gratefully took it and sipped.
"Thank you," she sighed. "I didn't go back inside because I didn't think it would take so long for you to come, and I thought…"
"You didn't want to have to waste that time going back again," Vash sighed. "Next time, when it feels cold, go inside."
The prompt is: 'Person A makes Person B hot chocolate.'
