PhilKong: Social Media
Hong Kong and Philippines were strolling through New York. They had a world meeting to attend the next day, and they decided to spend their free time acting as tourists. Hong Kong also hoped to post a few pictures on his Instagram, and he knew that Philippines was the perfect person to bring along for something like this.
"So, where should we go?" Philippines asked.
"I think we're close to Times Square," Hong Kong said. "Should make for a cool selfie."
"I like the way you're thinking! Come on!"
It took a while for them to find Times Square, and once they found it, they had to stare in awe for a moment. The moment ended when Philippines pulled out his cell phone and attached his selfie stick.
"Come on! Smile!"
Hong Kong blushed when Philippines threw his arm around his shoulders and pulled him closer. After a moment of hesitation, Hong Kong opted to hold up the peace sign. There was a familiar click and Philippines retrieved his phone.
"Can you take one with my phone too?" Hong Kong asked. "I'd like to post it on my Instagram."
"Of course!" Philippines said.
They repeated the process with Hong Kong's phone, and soon enough Hong Kong was working on the app. Once he was satisfied that the post was registered, he put the phone away and they started to look around.
About half an hour later, the two of them were sitting in a restaurant. Hong Kong went to check on his Instagram and a particular comment made him falter.
Cool! Is that your boyfriend?
Hong Kong blushed, before he scrolled through the other comments. There were many more saying the same thing. Some of the girls were commenting that it was a shame, while a few of the guys were saying that they had a chance.
"So, are there any comments yet?" Philippines asked.
"…Well, a few of them are asking if you're my boyfriend," Hong Kong replied.
"Tell them yes! You're bound to get an uproar then."
Hong Kong glared, fully aware that his face could be mistaken for a traffic light.
