"Oh, that looks great!" Dakila exclaimed. "Kiku, let's take a selfie!"

"N-no!" Kiku stuttered, waving his hands. "I-if you want, I'll take your picture."

"Aw, but I want a picture with you too. Please?"

"N-no, I-I don't like having my picture taken."

"But how else are we going to show that we were both together here?"

The other tourists watched as the two bickered over the issue. The tour guide cleared his throat, causing the two of them to turn towards him.

"Why don't the two of you take one photo together?" the tour guide suggested. "Or one selfie, and one photo with the camera? That way, you can have a picture to show your friends, and another you can keep to yourselves."

"That's a good idea!" Dakila said. "Kiku?"

Kiku hesitantly held the camera strapped around his neck before he nodded. He removed the camera and handed it to the tour guide.

"Would you mind taking our photo?" Kiku asked.

"Of course!" the tour guide said.

The tour guide stepped back while Kiku and Dakila found a good position in front of the monument. The other tourists cleared the way, respectful of the two. The tour guide stood still with the camera for a moment before the sound of the shutter resounded. He smiled, before handing the camera back to Kiku.

"You two look cute together," the tour guide said.

"Thanks," Dakila said.

Dakila got his phone and selfie stick ready, and threw his arm around Kiku's shoulder. Kiku blushed as Dakila took the selfie, making sure to have the monument in the background.

"Now then, shall we move on?" the tour guide asked.

Dakila didn't remove his arm from Kiku's shoulders as they followed the guide with the rest of the group.

The request was for these two, one being a selfie fiend while the other is camera shy. Kiku might be camera shy, but he likes taking pictures himself. That actually sums up most of my family. My cousin actually has his own photography business (and apparently was approached by Jaguar to make an ad for them), and my parents and uncle are occasionally freelance photographers. But none of them want to be in front of the camera. I also don't like having my photo taken, but I'm not much of a photographer.

I checked two different websites for traditional Filipino names. Dakila was a name that I really like, plus it's easy to remember. The name means 'great'. I also considered Kidlat, which means 'lightning', which brings to mind a camera flash, but Dakila sounds prettier.
