Sorry this is late! Saturday, we went to visit my sister, and I developed a migraine during the visit, so I wasn't feeling well, and then I completely forgot yesterday. Blame migraine aftereffects. By the way, the definition of irony is a packet of painkillers specifically geared towards migraines having headaches as a possible side-effect. I mean… That is the main reason why I'm drinking it…
Disclaimer: I don't own Hetalia.
BelaMona: Eye See You
"I'm telling you, you don't have to go with me," Natalia said.
"But I want to," Camille replied. "And besides, we both know how stubborn you can be. I'm going to make sure you don't try to lie about what the optometrist says."
Natalia sulked as she stopped in front of the shop. The large pair of glasses on the sign mocked her. There had never been anything wrong with her vision before, but after her last check-up, her doctor recommended that she should get her eyes examined.
She looked towards Camille, who chose that moment to adjust her glasses, and sighed. She supposed that she shouldn't complain too much.
A few minutes later, her fears were confirmed. Natalia was not happy as they went through the store, looking for a frame for her, and within a few weeks, she would get her prescription lenses. She was not looking forward to that.
"By the way," Camille said. "I would like to book my own appointment, if that's alright."
"Why?" Natalia asked. "You already have glasses."
"You need to have an appointment every two years. Just because these were my prescription two years ago doesn't mean they work now."
Afterwards, Camille treated Natalia to a cake at her favourite coffee shop to comfort her.
So, I mentioned a while back that I needed an eye examination. My right eye is significantly weaker than my left eye, so my left eye has been doing all the work. But the most pressing issue is the fact that my eyes tend to go into spasms, which influences my vision. When I went for the exam two years ago, my eyes spasmed, and I had to return first thing on a Saturday morning, with the bare minimum of ocular activity. The difference was drastic. I'm waiting for my new glasses, which they say should help strengthen my eyes. And hopefully they do something about these migraines which are becoming chronic. If not, then I'll need to go to the doctor, because there's a chance that these migraines might signify something else. Two attacks in four days are not a good sign, and five attacks in seven days are definitely not a good sign.
