EgyLiet: Protector

Egypt wandered away from Greece and Turkey. The two of them were going at it, and he didn't want to have to be asked to play the peacekeeper. It was tiring to do it every time for those two.

"I-I'm s-sorry, R-Russia," someone said. "I-I'm b-busy, so I…"

"You don't look busy right now," Russia said. "Are you lying to me, Lithuania?"

Egypt looked around. He saw a sight that was also familiar enough. Lithuania was pressed against the wall, head down and trembling. Standing in front of him was Russia, an eerie smile on his face as he waited for Lithuania to cave under the pressure. Egypt walked over towards the two.

"O-of course not, R-Russia," Lithuania said. "I-I just…"

"Lithuania!" Egypt called out, making the smaller European jump while Russia glanced over with a curious expression. "Did you forget that we had a meeting? You left me waiting, and I don't like waiting."

Lithuania blinked, before he apologised to Russia and slipped away. Russia watched the two as they walked away together.

"I-I'm sorry," Lithuania said. "I d-don't remember that w-we…"

"We don't," Egypt said. "I just thought you'd like someone to help you get away. But since I have your attention, would you like to grab a coffee?"

Lithuania smiled and nodded. He looked very relieved.
