EgyPanMano: Different Tastes
Kiku was sitting on the couch with a book in his hand. He calmly turned the page, not even paying attention to the person whose head was on his lap, also flipping through a book. Kiku was far too embarrassed to use Gupta as a pillow, but he enjoyed having Gupta resting his head on his lap. It was comforting, and not too affectionate.
The two looked up when a door opened, and the third member of their trio entered. Lovino paused when he saw the two of them.
"What are you doing?" he asked.
"Enjoying each other's company," Gupta said.
"But… You're both reading. How can that…?"
Gupta smiled as he sat up. Kiku placed his book aside before he stood.
"Are those the ingredients for tonight's dinner?" Kiku asked. "Would you like some help?"
Lovino gave a soft smile and nodded. Gupta watched them go. Quiet time reading together was something that Kiku and Gupta did, cooking was Kiku and Lovino's thing, and shopping tended to be Lovino and Gupta's thing. But all three of them enjoyed trips to the museum or the theatre together. They could bond through different tastes.
