TurkEng: Taking Care

Sadiq carefully added the final flourish to the dish, before he went to the study to drag Arthur away from the computer. He wondered what mood Arthur would be in at the moment. It was a very tentative time, and Sadiq really didn't want to interrupt Arthur at a bad time.

He found Arthur in front of the computer, hands buried in his hair. So, it was one of the neutral times. If Arthur had actually been typing, then interrupting him would have been bad for Sadiq.

"It's time for dinner," Sadiq said.

"Already?" Arthur asked, checking his watch. "Bloody hell, where did the time go?"

"So, bad session?"

"…I only managed about three hundred words in the last two hours. I've been deleting and rewriting and deleting and…" Arthur groaned. "I think I need a break."

Sadiq smiled as Arthur stood, and the two of them made their way to the kitchen. Sadiq would listen to Arthur and try to get him brainstorming. Hopefully, it would be enough to help Arthur.

Arthur had been very high-strung recently, and Sadiq was doing his best to support him. Still, Sadiq couldn't wait for November to come to an end.

Just a little something for everyone getting ready for NaNoWriMo. Good luck.
