TurNor: Climate Change

When Sadiq returned home, it was to find Lukas on the couch, with what appeared to be every fan they owned trained on him. Lukas's face was flushed and a sheen of sweat made him look shimmery.

"Is everything okay?" Sadiq asked. He placed his hand on Lukas's forehead. "What's wrong?"

"It's too hot," Lukas mumbled. "I'm melting."

"Huh? But it's only twenty-eight degrees."

"It's too hot."

"…You realise that they're expecting temperatures in the thirties next week, right?"

Lukas groaned and sagged on the couch.

"Just kill me now," he muttered. "It would be less painful."

"Do you want me to buy you some ice-cream?" Sadiq asked.

"Yes, please."

It's that time of year where I feel jealous of the people living in the northern hemisphere. Seriously, I am very sensitive to heat. The price I pay for being resistant to the cold. Right now, in the late afternoon, the temperature is 34 degrees.
