Sorry this is late. Combination of being busy, having a migraine, and stormy weather negatively affecting the power.

AmeLiech: The Hero's Princess
"And that's how we can make the temperature colder by creating a large fridge and keeping the door open!" America announced.
No one responded to his awesome plan. He could see England with his hand pressed firmly against his forehead, shaking his head. Canada sat next to England, his head resting on the table. Russia was also in a similar position, along with the Nordics.
The meeting was in Australia, where an unexpected heatwave decided that now was a good time to come. Even Australia looked as though he was suffering, and he repeatedly apologised whenever one of the nations with colder climates would comment on the heat. Germany left those nations alone, seeing how hard it was for them to focus during the meeting. Germany was often wiping the sweat away from his own forehead.
"Thank you, America," Germany said. "Though, making the whole world cooler is a bit ambitious – and I shudder to think of the environmental repercussions – I think we first have to focus on cooling down this building."
"Sorry," Australia said. "Of all the times for the aircons to break…"
"Anyway, moving on to other matters. As you all probably know, Valentine's Day is tomorrow, and this Friday, we'll be having a ball of sorts in celebration."
Several nations groaned. Germany coughed, winning silence. It was apparently too hot for him to do anything more aggressive than that.
"Now, it is not a requirement for you to bring a date," Germany said. "You can go with friends. But we thought that this would be a good way for us to spend some informal time together, and hopefully get into less arguments."
"And who is this 'we' you speak of?" France asked.
"Your boss, among others."
France flinched, but didn't say another word on the matter. America wasn't paying too much attention. After Germany mentioned that it was Valentine's Day, his thoughts went to another matter which he felt was more important than whatever was going on with the meeting.
"Now then, is there anything else that anyone would like to discuss?" Germany asked. He waited for several seconds, but no one responded. "Very well. Then we are dismissed for today."
"Finally!" Denmark groaned. "Hey Russia, Canada, do you want to join us at the rink?"
"I would appreciate that," Russia said, standing up.
America ignored them as he turned towards two other nations. He had hoped to get one of them alone, but it wasn't meant to be, it would seem. Still, he was the hero, and the hero didn't back down from a challenge. Even if that challenge was his crush's overprotective big brother.
"Hey Switzerland, Liechtenstein," America said as he reached them.
"America," Switzerland greeted. "What do you want?"
"So, Liechtenstein, since it's Valentine's Day tomorrow, will you join me for lunch?"
"What?!" Switzerland exclaimed. Liechtenstein's eyes went round. "What did you just say?"
"I asked Liechtenstein to join me for lunch tomorrow. On a date." America turned to Liechtenstein. "Well?"
"Lili, don't…"
"This is her choice, Switzy."
"Don't call me that!"
"…Okay."
Both men shut up as they turned to Liechtenstein. She looked between the two, her large eyes threatening to melt America more than the weather.
"Alright," she repeated. "But, is it okay if Bruder comes along?"
"Um, sure," America said. "He can chaperone us, if you'd like. And if everything goes well, I hope you'll also be my date for the dance."
"What the hell did you do to the real America?" Switzerland asked. "You're being uncharacteristically polite."
"Hey, I can be polite!"
Liechtenstein giggled, making America pause again.
"You two get along so well," she said. "Alright, I'll see you tomorrow then."
Liechtenstein waved and started to walk away. America and Switzerland exchanged a look.
"I have no idea what she's talking about," Switzerland said. "What makes her think we get along well?"
America shrugged, and Switzerland walked after his sister. America then looked around, finally spotting Australia. He walked over towards the Australian, who was on the phone with someone. It took America a few seconds to understand that it had something to do with the AC. Australia noticed America waiting and held up a finger.
"Yeah, I need someone immediately," he said. "I'll be waiting." He ended the call and turned to America. "Anything I can help you with?"
"Do you have any suggestions for a place where I can take a Valentine's date for lunch?" America asked.
"…Okay, first, you have a date? Second, I thought you would take them to McDonald's."
"Yes, I have a date, and even I wouldn't take someone to Micky D's on a first date. No matter how awesome I think their food is."
"…Alright. Well, I think I know of a good place…"
…
Switzerland looked around at the restaurant that America had chosen. He was expecting a fast-food place, but this looked like a decent place. Obviously, it wasn't a place that offered three courses with every meal, but it was decent enough. The waiter guided them towards a table, and America immediately took out a chair. Switzerland felt annoyed, until he saw America indicating for Liechtenstein to sit down.
Okay, so he managed to get a single point in his favour.
Switzerland sat down next to Liechtenstein as America sat down across from them. The waiter handed them the menus and walked away, giving them time to decide what they wanted to order.
"This place looks nice," Liechtenstein said.
"I'm glad you like it," America said. "Oh, by the way, I got you something."
America reached into his jacket, and Switzerland narrowed his eyes. Finally, America returned with a small, fluffy thing, and Switzerland realised that it was a keychain that looked like a palm-sized bunny.
"It's too hot for chocolates, so I thought I'd get you something like this," America said. "I hope you like it."
"It's so cute!" Liechtenstein said, carefully taking the fluffy keychain. "It's so soft!"
Switzerland looked towards the keychain and nodded. Okay, that was something that Liechtenstein liked, and it didn't look like a cheap trinket America got at a convenience store. So, he got another point.
The lunch itself wasn't too bad, with America thankfully not flirting with Liechtenstein in front of Switzerland. America seemed to take an interest in what Liechtenstein liked to do, and would offer his comments. None of those comments were negative, so Switzerland let it slide, and occasionally, Switzerland would be drawn into the conversation as well.
But of course, what caused America to get not one, but two points in his favour was when he told Switzerland and Liechtenstein that he would be paying. If Switzerland had known that beforehand, then he wouldn't have gone for the cheapest thing on the menu, and America explained that offering to pay was a typical sign of southern hospitality in his country.
"I had a lot of fun," Liechtenstein said. "Danke."
"Awesome," America said. "So… Would it be okay if you'd be my date for the dance?"
Liechtenstein turned towards Switzerland, who shrugged.
"If you'd like to go with him, I don't mind," Switzerland said, before he fixed America with a stern glare. "But if you do anything to hurt her…"
"Oh, the shotgun talk!" America said. "Sure, no problem. I won't do anything to hurt her, and I'll bring her back before… Say, ten or something?"
Switzerland paused, making a mental note to find out what America meant with 'shotgun talk'. He cleared his throat and nodded.
"As long as you understand that," he said.
When it was time to leave, Switzerland moved behind the other two. He watched as America held out his arm to Liechtenstein, who giggled as she accepted. Switzerland decided that he would keep an eye on the two of them.
This didn't come out how I thought, but I decided to go with it. The heatwave was because we've been dealing with horrible heat recently, but the last week we've had rainy weather, so it's better now.
