Mei had a whiteboard in her room, which she used to make a list of everything that she needed to remember for her and Toris's upcoming wedding and honeymoon. She had satin robes, slippers, and camera on the list, but she continued to think of a few more things. Finally, she decided to add one more thing, mostly because they were going to have guests and she wanted to see who would be snooping. She giggled when she added the last thing.
"Hey, Mei," Toris said, knocking before entering, "have you seen my…" He looked at the list, and especially the last item, and his face turned red. "What are you thinking?!" He rushed over to wipe it away. "My parents are coming! What if they see this?"
"Oh, please," Mei said, rolling her eyes. "What do you think they're going to think we're doing on our wedding night?"
Toris's face turned red and he started to stammer. Mei giggled. It was really cute. Eventually, Toris cleared his throat.
"Just… Don't do something like this again," he said.
And then later, when Toris's parents came, his mother revealed that she had gone snooping and looked at the whiteboard by asking why she didn't add that very thing to the list. Poor Toris.
This is a conversation between my sister and her now-husband, with the exception of the last paragraph. And I think it's pretty obvious what the item was, and I don't want to threaten the rating.
