When our group finally caught up to Vegeta and the Androids, we saw that he was mouthing off to them, as he obviously could.
"I'll tear all three of you to pieces who's first?! You boy?! Or you? Or how about that big one?! Or the pinky! Or how about I just demolish you in one go!" Vegeta shouted angrily as I then spoke up.
"Geeze, you're so angry just from them ignoring you," I frowned, him then growling at me.
"Why don't you go ahead and fight him, 16? I want to see what you can do," 18 said with a smile.
"Negative, only Goku is in my sights," 16 said, which 18 looked surprised at.
"Well, at least one of you is smart enough to not fight me!" Vegeta sneered.
"Just because he doesn't want to fight, it doesn't mean he's scared of you, prince," 21 said as she then looked at 18.
"Okay, then I'll play with you. Just you and me," 18 said with a smirk.
"As for you lot, I'll split you up in two teams. One for 21 to fight and another for me. So. Who's got game?" 17 asked, me frowning at that. His power was all the way up to 350 million, so there were only a scant few of our team who could fight him on equal ground, since I convinced Puar to not turn into me unless her life depended on it. And she then proceeded to change her appearance into 17 automatically, which made the man surprised.
"You won't lay a finger on any of them! I'll fight you alone!" Puar said with seriousness.
"Heh, okay then, kitty cat. 21, you can handle the others," 17 smiled as he then proceeded to get into a fight with Puar while Vegeta and 18 got into a fight together. And Krillin opted to stay out of the scuffle alongside Tien. I then saw that 21 was hoping to initiate with Dodoria and Salza first, her punch managing to knock Dodoria for a loop on the first strike, which everyone gawked at in shock, me included! Why? Because 21's hidden power was all the way up to 600 million! And I only sensed her true strength when she punched the spiky-headed warrior down and out!
"Dodoria! You bitch!" Salza shouted as he went to try and punch the Majin robot, only to get a punch to his stomach, which also was enough to get him down and out in one go! But I did notice one thing. Whenever 21 connected her skin into her opponents, even managing to do the impossible and dent the Katchin armor on Dodoria to do so, (I got some extra sets after learning how to use Instant Transmission, specifically for my commanders) her skin changed color to whatever she touched in the process!
"What the hell are you?! You aren't just a Majin, that much is obvious!" Lamp said in shock.
"I've become more than you are, pinky," 21 said as she then zoomed up to her faster than light speed! And Lamp gasped at how she was face-to-face with Lamp, which I gawked at something that I was stunned by. 21 was stealing powers from the other fighters that she had come into contact with! "I'm your daughter," she said before then sending out a full-body laser attack at Lamp! Lamp gasped at this as her entire left side had been burnt clean off... and then 21 gawked at how Lamp reformed her skin almost automatically.
"Are you able to do that? Let's see if you can," Lamp smirked as she then sent out her own attack, which she called the Majinko, which was an edited version of Gohan's Masenko, but pink. And after this attack? 21 had an arm missing... and then she reformed her body automatically.
"Stop it, 21!" I shouted as I then zoomed down to her and got in between her and her next victim, which would've been Tien.
"Oh? Why should I stop?" she asked.
"We forfeit! I know exactly what you're doing and I'm stopping it right now! We aren't the enemies here," I said, her then frowning before nodding.
"Fine. Then don't interfere with the others' fights," she said, me gulping at that as I looked at the others and they also looked concerned.
"What the hell is this woman?" Piccolo asked in shock.
"I know exactly what she was doing, my Scouter picked all of it up," Bonyu frowned. "Anyone she comes into contact with, she copies all of their abilities... never thought that such a thing could happen, but obviously we can't risk anymore of us battling her. If she got the strengths of Piccolo's regeneration and tie to the Dragonballs, the insane strengths of Sally and Milly, or even advanced versions of our attacks like Tien's Tri-Beam or Yamcha's Spirit Ball, we'd be done for in a snap," Bonyu explained, which 21 smiled at.
"I didn't expect you to know that about me just from observation," 21 smiled as we then watched the other fights with Puar still keeping up with 17, but her and Vegeta were going down in power slowly and surely. And then, 18 proceeded to take advantage of a mistake from Vegeta and slammed him into the ground. And while Vegeta was dazed... 18 slammed her foot into his arm, snapping it apart with just one kick! And Trunks gawked at this, him then about to rush down before I zapped him in his tracks with paralysis.
"Don't do it, Trunks! Vegeta's gotten stronger than you and 18 just broke his arm! You really think it'd be a smart move?" I asked him in annoyance, which Trunks then winced before then letting his Super Saiyan state down as Puar had managed to get knocked out onto the ground just as well, her having been trounced, even knowing all of 17's strengths.
"Puar, no!" Yamcha said as the groups all then went to the road, and I sighed.
"So. Anyone else want to take us on? Or can we get going?" 21 asked, me frowning as Krillin then spoke up.
"Why are you even doing this? Why try and kill Goku?" Krillin asked them.
"Is there a reason we shouldn't?" 17 asked.
"Gero's the one who hated him! So why would you want to follow through on his wishes?" Krillin asked in annoyance.
"See, Krillin, that's a bit convoluted... we view it as a game," 17 smiled.
"A game? That's your excuse? Killing Goku is a game? Even though Gero told you to do that?" I asked, which 17 frowned at.
"Don't get me wrong, we'd much rather not be doing his orders, but he programmed us with that goal in mind. So we just have to go through with it, see? Once that's done, we can finally be freed from that madman and have free will," 17 spoke.
"Free will to do what, exactly?" I asked, which the four then looked at each other and then at me. "I don't know what exactly is going on in your robot heads right now, but if what I know about Gero is true, he may have some kind of nasty hidden code in your heads that would activate should you actually kill Goku. So if Goku does die and you happen to still be alive, who knows what could happen."
My words actually made the Androids look at each other in concern, especially the three that were formed from humans first. And 16 just looked to be contemplating on his entire ideals in his mind.
"So what do you propose that we do, then?" 21 asked, which the others looked at me in surprise, since I was actually managing to get through to the four of them.
"We happened to find the blueprints to all three of your designs in Gero's lab before it got blown up. And we have three geniuses that could help to try and figure out every detail about you and find any kind of dangerous aspects in you that could prove horrid for the world... but in order to do that, you have to hold off on killing Goku, at least until you can get through a checkup with Doctor Briefs, Bulma Briefs, and the doctor that created Arale," I said, which the four looked at each other and then at me.
"Um... that's uh... why are you being... so nice to us? When we just beat up your friends?" 21 asked in confusion.
"Because, just from the power you have inside of you, you could've very easily demolished us and killed almost every single one of our fighters... and yet you just incapacitated us with non-lethal means. If you were truly evil and wanted to destroy the world as Gero would've wanted, then you would've ruthlessly murdered every one of us, no questions asked."
Trunks looked at me in shock at this and hovered down to me, me seeing that he had a notebook in his hands, and he had written something down on it. "Are you sure that this is a good idea?" is what the note said. And I simply nodded at him.
"Better to have these guys on the side of good, then the side of evil," I smiled back at him. And after, the androids then frowned and walked towards us.
"Fine. You said you know of a means to get our code changed? Then lead us to where we need to go. But in exchange, you need to let me do something," 18 smiled.
"Yeah? What is it?" Krillin asked as 18 then went over to him and kissed him on the cheek, which made Krillin blush after.
"That. That's what I wanted to do," she giggled. And Krillin blushed heavily at this. And Trunks looked at this with nervous sweats all over.
"Hey, Trunks? You go ahead and get the Senzu Beans to the ones who got knocked out, huh?" I asked, him then getting sent out of his trance after.
"Y-Yeah... that..." he said, me probably knowing exactly what he was stunned by. I had an idea in my head that future 18 was the one who killed Krillin, which made him shocked at how 18 actually kissed the tiny bald man with genuine romantic interests.
"Fine, then let's get going to West City," Milly smirked at the androids.
"In the meantime, I'll contact Arale and find out where her doctor is so we can get him to West City as well," Launch said with a smirk, me nodding at her as she then did so. Vegeta, upon getting the Senzu Bean in him, proceeded to fly off in a huff to the distance, me stopping Trunks from chasing him.
"Leave him be, kid. He just lost to a girl, android or not. He needs to recover his pride," I said, Trunks nodding at me and looking at the Androids with animosity, but not doing anything.
"If you do anything to hurt mo... er... Bulma or the people of West City, I will make you regret it," Trunks said to them.
"Not a chance, purple. Only in self-defense. We actually come from West City, before Gero kidnapped us and killed our family," 18 said with a frown.
"If that's the case... then what about 21 and 16?"
"Negative... I never was a human," 16 said, which surprised 17, 18, and 21.
"You weren't made from a human? Completely mechanical?... Lucky bastard. Gero kidnapped me from a trip I was going on... I was going to try and meet Krillin after so long, but then I was captured and given some strange injections... and then I feel my mind expand as well as my strength... it's so upsetting, but thrilling at the same time," 21 said, which, when she said that? It made Launch gasp.
"W-Wait... Marron? Is that who you are?" she asked.
"Y-Yeah... but who are you?"
"Launch..." Krillin said, which made 21/Marron look at Krillin and then at 18. "So... this is super awkward..." he admitted.
"So then what are we going to do now?" Tien asked in concern as we started to fly towards West City.
"We should still stay alert and on our toes. Who knows if Android Omega, codename of Cell could actually appear anywhere. And if he does, first thing he'll try to do is absorb innocents into his body to get stronger, according to the security bug we captured 3 years ago," I said, which the other Androids were surprised by.
"What? You managed to catch one of Gero's spy bugs?" he asked, me nodding.
"But how would this Cell guy, or Android Omega or... whatever! How would he absorb people and why?" 21 asked.
"From the schematics on the bug, it described him absorbing the person's soul, body, power, and energy into his body, which would increase his strength with each person he did this to. And if he got a strong member of our group, such as me, Vegeta, Milly, or Lamp, then he could very easily kill everyone out there with zero issue. It said he'd still have over 2 decades until completion on the bug, but who knows as of now? Gero may have a new trick up his sleeve, even after death," I said, them nodding at me as I then started to whisper at a small volume. One that only Piccolo could hear.
"Piccolo," I whispered, him frowning after. "I need you to trust me on this. Don't say a word to anyone, but Cell is going to arrive. Don't ask questions, I need you to speak with Kami. You know what I'm talking about," I said, him frowning at me and then immediately veering off the path to West City to go towards Kami's place, which the others looked at him in surprise.
"Where's Piccolo going?" asked Broly.
"He's going to get a power-up. We should leave him be for now," I said, the others looking confused, but not saying anything. And then I got a text from Arale.
"I managed to find a secret lab under the rubble of the first lab! I also found some blueprints for things called Android 18 and Cell. And there's this weird thing in a container down here, too," she said.
"Destroy everything else down there and keep the blueprints safe. Then, I need you to find your doctor and have him go to Capsule Corporation. I need him to work together with the Briefs family in order to do some editing to the four Androids we've previously met, okay?" I texted her.
"Got it, Chilly Cheater!"
"Stop calling me that, please?"
"Fine. You're no fun. :p" She had to go there, didn't she? Regardless, I had to get the androids looked at... better that they don't always want to kill Goku and possibly risk a surprise coding trick from Gero implanted in ANY of these androids.
Meanwhile, at Goku's house, Gohan and Chi-Chi had managed to get Goku all back to a stable health condition from the medicine and took a dose each for themselves. And they were wondering how the deal with the Androids were going. And then a single AI girl appeared via their radio.
"Chi-Chi? Gohan? How's it going?" asked Katie, which Chi-Chi looked at the radio with a smile.
"Goku's back to being well again, but the medicine said that, if it was a very bad case, then they'd need a whole 24 hours of rest. He's been sleeping for the past 3 hours," Chi-Chi smiled at Katie. "But enough about that. Could I trouble you to find out what's going on with the Android situation? I want to know if we're going to be safe here or not," Chi-Chi frowned.
"Of course I can!" Katie smiled as she then proceeded to contact Sally and got on her Scouter. "Commander Sally, this is Katie. I wanted to know what's up with the Android issue. Have they been defeated and/or pacified?" Katie asked, her then getting her response via text. "Oh, I see! That's good news! But what did you say about this Android Omega thing? Is there a bad android coming soon?"
"What's she saying?" Gohan asked.
"She said that there's some strange feeling she's getting. She said that Android Omega was defeated in the lab he was being grown in, being based off of the cells and DNA of the strongest of our fighters, her included. And that she feels that there's something bad coming. She can feel it in her bones."
"That sounds... very weird. Since when did she know about the future?" Ask her a question from me. How does she know about something bad coming soon?" Chi-Chi asked, which Katie then asked the question to Sally. And her response?
"She said that she got a message from Bulma. There's some weird picture of what looks like a dilapidated time machine in the outskirts of West City, it being located in between there and Ginger Town," Katie explained, which made Gohan gasp.
"A-An old time machine? You mean like the future guy's time machine?" Gohan asked in confusion.
"Exactly that. She's having Launch divert from the group alongside Future Trunks to pick her up and investigate the area. Because Trunks said he still has his time machine on hand, so there's something afoot," Katie said.
"That sounds very bad... I think that, until further notice, Gohan and I should head to Roshi's place to make sure that nothing bad happens to Goku," Chi-Chi said with concern as she then looked at Gohan with seriousness. "Gohan, you still have that capsule I asked for? For special purposes?" Chi-Chi asked him.
"Uh, yeah, I do. The jet that Bulma gave us, right?" Gohan asked.
"Yes, that. I need you to activate it outside the house and help me get Goku on there, carefully."
"Yes, ma'am," Gohan smiled as he then did so. And within the next 5 minutes, the trio of husband, mother, and son were off on their way towards Kame House.
