A new and improved version of my original Dragonball story.
This will have a new OC in the name of Sally 'Chill' Sawyers. It will follow along the story of Dragonball Z from about 2 years prior to the Saiyan Arc and all the way up to the Majin Buu arc. No Super, no GT, as I'm sticking to just the original Dragonball Z plots with a couple movie detours here and there.
With this out of the way, let's begin.
I didn't know at all what had happened prior to my appearance in this new body. Sure, I remembered I came from a different reality and I was basically ripped from my old world and placed into a different one upon a very painful death... but I barely remembered anything other than 3 things. One, I was named Sally Sawyers, age 23 when I'd been killed. Two, I was reborn into a family of cold and chilling alien villains who planned to rule the universe as real estate by killing planets' denizens and selling the planets to the highest bidder. And three, I'd been reborn into a world I'd seen everything of and knew anything of what to expect... and I'd been renamed to Chill, as that was the gist of my new 'family' naming schtick. We were named after cold stuff. Starting with King Cold, then Frieza, Cooler, and me, the youngest of the lot, being renamed to Chill.
As for my appearance, I had 5 different forms I was capable of taking, but my true form was almost identical to Frieza's, just with a round chest and I was at least a foot taller. And I had hair no matter my form, as I was a female of King Cold's family line. And my other forms I attained by limiting my power to get weaker. I did this because my true power could accidentally destroy planets, so I rarely ever used it.
But I insisted that my troops, who I secretly told to never once use any harmful or evil means to the denizens I had them encounter, were to call me Sally. They were confused, but they didn't question me and simply followed my orders. Otherwise, if I found they HAD killed denizens of different planets, I had them killed by my own hands... because of one thing.
See, most of the members of King Cold's family line never trained a single inch of their lives. And females in their family line such as myself were much weaker than the males. But I trained any moment I could, making it so that, in secret, I was actually stronger than Frieza at full power by double! But I never used that much power, as I was a pacifist by trade...
But then, I got into an argument with King Cold after he'd heard of what happened with me and a couple different Saiyans that had survived thanks to my help. I decided to play differently and save the GOOD Saiyans from Planet Vegeta and hide them amongst my ranks. Their names consisted of Peppino, Oragna, and Gine. Yes, really, only 3 Saiyans were saved that day as good members.
Peppino was named after green peppers and was extremely spicy in both personality and fighting spirit. He was very hotheaded, but he also never harmed a single living thing unless they harmed him or his friends. He was the weakest of the trio, being the youngest as well. He had a bulky muscle build as well as a bowl cut for hair.
Oragna was very sweet and blunt, having the fairest complexion and the nicest disposition of the trio. Despite that, she was actually just as strong if not stronger than Nappa, as she had trained in 40 times G training rooms and was dedicated to the martial arts. But again, she rarely hurt anyone if they did nothing to harm her. She had pure black hair that had natural pigtails on the sides and a natural ponytail in the back.
And finally, Gine, which only needs one introduction. She was the mother of Kakarot and was dedicated to trying to find out where he'd vanished to since the destruction of Planet Vegeta. And she was very good at fighting and was the only one who still had a penchant for picking fights with people if they were innocent bystanders, but it was moreso because she was very wily and is usually insulted before the fights initiate. Despite that, she never once killed anyone if I told her so.
Anyways, back to king Cold's argument. He hated that I kept Saiyans by my side and that they weren't being trained to their fullest. And my response to him?
"Oh yeah? Well I'm not in the family's interests either, asshole," I frowned at him, which King Cold gasped at and tried to fire a blast at me, which I blocked and sent a laserbeam at his hand in response, it going the whole way through and him hissing at the pain. "I'm leaving the business and heading someplace safe. If you know what's good for you, you won't follow. Otherwise, a burnt hand will be the least of your concerns," I growled at him.
"You dare stand against my rule, Chill?!" he growled at me.
"And DON'T call me Chill ever again! My name is Sally, and that's what it's going to stay as forever, GOT IT?!" I growled as I then punched him in the stomach, him gasping for air from the blow I made, even if he were still sitting in his throne. "Now stay there and think about your life. And about the millions of lives you've killed without remorse. Think about the pain they felt and then imagine what it's like to lose everything you ever loved. Because one day, you will know that pain," I frowned, me then leaving immediately and going to my own ship. But in the process, I only took my small armada of my personal army, the Battle Brigade. It consisted of the three Saiyans and two other aliens, those being Stratos and Sphara.
Stratos and Sphara were powerful warriors from the Western Quadrant and were super strong twin siblings. They could control the weather around them and were able to use air to the fullest extent. They were from a planet that was filled with nothing but sky, a Gas Giant with minimal ground. They were always flying and never touched the ground once. Because of this, they preferred to fight from a distance at all times and only when I told them to. And the duo, when combined, could destroy every member of the Ginyui Force without any issue whatsoever!
"So where are we going, Sally?" Stratos asked, me smiling at him. He basically looked like a buff man with a lower half of a cloud. The closest comparison? A Skylander named Lightning Rod. And believe it or not, this universe had a planet called Skyland, where I managed to conquer and allowed them to survive there along with whoever came in to buy it out, promising that they wouldn't have anymore issues with villains if I had any say in it. And the ones who came in, a group of escapee aliens from another universe, assisted the Skylanders in defeating their villains and keeping the peace for all time! As for Sphara, she looked the same, but more feminine and having purple hair as opposed to Stratos having red.
"We're going to a different planet. But this time, we're going there for retirement," I said, which made the group surprised.
"Wait... we're NOT going to be working in this business anymore?" Peppino asked in surprise.
"No, we're not. We're going to live in paradise. A planet removed from King Cold's presence. Planet Earth," I said, but only after making sure that there were no communicators listening in. I then had us fly off and Gine spoke up.
"Wait... Earth... that name sounds very familiar... way too familiar..." she said with a frown.
"It very well should, Gine. If you'll recall, the day that Planet Vegeta was destroyed, a single ship carrying an infant Saiyan was sent to planet Earth. A child that you know very well," I said, which made Gine's tail hair go poofy upon hearing that.
"Oh gosh... my boy, Kakarot... I get to meet him! YES!... But... wait... if he's still there, then how come you say Earth is a paradise? You mean to tell me that he didn't succeed in destroying it?" Gine asked, me smiling at that.
"Far from it. I sent a couple scouts to the planet to find out where Kakarot was and to not engage with anyone living there, just to check up on the young Saiyan. And from what they say, he became pure of heart, after getting hit on the head. And he has a new name. Son Goku," I explained, which Gine was surprised by.
"He's pure of heart?... He got hit on the head? How young was that, then?"
"From what the scouts said, he got hit on the head a few days after arrival. As such, he doesn't remember a single thing about his Saiyan roots. I asked them to ask Goku if he knew anything about the term Kakarot. And his response was. 'You mean carrots? I hate carrots'." Gine smirked at that and shook her head, tears forming in her eyes.
"At the very least... I'm happy that he's still alive... and he doesn't even know a thing about Frieza's horrid crimes... I can't wait to meet him and see how he's grown up," Gine smiled as she then looked at the others in our group and she got a hug from Peppino and Oragna.
"I'm happy for you, too, Gine. You still have a family member around that isn't nasty like Radditz," Peppino smiled.
"Don't remind me. I wish he could've been spared from going to Frieza's troops," Gine sighed.
"Computer? How long until we reach planet Earth?" I asked the ship, which it responded simply.
"Time to reach planet Earth: 4 days and 5 hours in Earth time. In our time, 1 day and 2 hours," the computer said. Yeah, I upgraded my computer to be tenfold more advanced than the computer systems from King Cold, Frieza, and Cooler's ships. It had an AI inserted from another planet that was filled with AI denizens, which, in exchange for me sparing their planet from being invaded by foreign groups, I got myself one such AI integrated into my computer. And said AI could also follow into any foreign technology it wished. I called her K8E. But from here on, I'll just refer to her as Katie for simplicity's sake.
We spent those 4 days simply eating and training, as we always did, but for me, minimal training was needed as of now, since my strengths would get me through the fights up to the Android Saga, which would be the only place I'd need to train. And the main reason was because I knew that the androids were much stronger than Frieza and King Cold, with King Cold being 1.5 million and Frieza being 1 million exactly. As for me, twice the power of Frieza, and a bit more. Over 2 million, which I loved.
Regardless, after traveling for the full 4 days, we then finally arrived at Earth, where I had our small mothership land in a secluded area closer to West City, it being at the very top of a mountain inside of a small cave, mainly so no one would find it or use it without my knowledge. And upon doing so, I then turned all the different features for the ship off, that way I couldn't be tracked by King Cold's tracking ships, which could sense ships of his design from 10 light years away. After doing this, we used our super special upgraded Scouters to sense for where Goku could be.
We eventually found his power level to the far east, at his house, me sensing two other weaker levels in the form of Chi-Chi and Gohan. Chi-Chi had a power of 300 and Goku was 500, and Gohan? 100, even at the age of 2!
"Look at all of these weak power levels... 2s and 5s all over the place! How the hell didn't this planet get taken over yet? Not saying we should, I'm just stunned that it hasn't happened yet," Oragna gawkeed at the area as K8E hid in my personal Scouter, which could sense up to 2 billion in power levels, which I had personally manufactured for my group of warriors. And why? Because I needed to know how tough my future fights would get. And our armor could only do so much, even if it were made of Katchin metal from a planet filled with katchin smithies that I entered a partnership with, in secret from King Cold.
"And because of that, try to not be seen by too many people as we go to Kakarot's residence. We don't want to frigthen them into a frenzy, after all. Especially with my appearance... I still hate my weakest form's appearance, but better to not go all out on this planet," I sighed as we then flew off on our way towards Goku's place, where we managed to get up to the area where Piccolo would train Gohan until we found a certain OTHER person. Piccolo himself, him still having yet to be humbled onto the side of good.
"What the hell are you lot supposed to be?!" he asked in anger and concern. Couldn't blame him, considering all of us were stronger than him right now. And my weakest form? I hid behind a power level of 2 thousand, that being at least quadruple Piccolo's strength.
"We're just visitors, hoping to integrate into society as new inhabitants of this planet. And who are you?" I asked, which he growled at me.
"Yeah, right! I heard you all the way in West City! You're hoping to find someone named Kakarot. No doubt to try and rule this planet. But newsflash, that's MY right! I will rule this planet!" he shouted as he then proceeded to do something that I was surprised he could do so early on. He was charging up his Special Beam Cannon, which made our scouters start beeping.
"Uh, boss? His power's rising exponentially! He's up to 1.5 thousand in his fingertips!" Sphara said with concern, me smiling at that.
"Go ahead, greeny. Hit me with your best shot," I smiled, him then shooting the beam at me, which I then countered by shooting a beam from my eyes, one that I used to get into a struggle with the laser attack before they exploded in the center! And when I did this, I then rushed forward too fast for Piccolo and gave him a laser beam from my eyes. A non-lethal one that would leave him paralyzed for 3 hours. He ended up falling down to the ground shortly after, him groaning as he couldn't move a muscle in the middle of a raised plateau.
"Is he... is he going to be okay to leave like this?" Gine asked in concern. She knew what Namekians were, and I could tell from her gaze that she was surprised by seeing one on this planet.
"He's fine, he'll just be incapacitated for the next 3 hours. He'll be able to move again by evening," I said, me then having our group continue flying towards Goku's residency.
It took us an hour to reach the house, where we then landed at the front entrance and I looked at the others with seriousness.
"Okay, here's how it works. I'll knock on the door and see what they say. On no account does anyone show their strengths... and Gine?" I asked, seeing she was a bit feisty right now, since she was so close to meeting her kid and grandchild. "Try to calm yourself down. We don't want to scare your son when he finds out who you are," I said, her then sighing.
"O-Okay... I'll calm down," she said as she then grabbed onto her tail... and then her energy went down drastically, to the point she was back to normal. I then knocked on the door three times and then hit the doorbell.
"I'll get it, Chi-Chi!" said Goku's voice as he then opened the door, but his eyes were closed at first. "Hi there! How are you... uh... doing?..." he asked before then seeing my body and I simply got bashful.
"Um... doing well, I'll say that much... may I come in? I have some friends and we're a bit hungry," I said, pointing to my group, which Goku looked surprised by.
"Uh... sure..." he said, me nodding as we then entered the house and we saw that Gohan was at the table with Chi-Chi busy doing the dishes. And Gohan was stunned by my appearance specifically and looked scared, but I looked around the place to try and avert his gaze. Didn't want to spook the kid.
"Hmm... nice place you got here. Small, but comfy," Peppino said with a smile.
"I'm sorry, but who in the world are you and what in the world are you?" Goku asked, which I smiled at him.
"We actually come from another planet, each of us. My name is Sally Sawyers," I smirked bashfully. The others then introduced themselves, with Gine going last.
"And I'm Gine... do you... remember me?" she asked Goku, him looking at her in confusion.
"Um... no, I don't... should I?" he asked her, which Gine smiled.
"I'm... your mother..." she smiled, which made Chi-Chi finally stop doing the dishes and turn around, as well as make Gohan and Goku gasp.
"You're Goku's mom?! WHOA!" Chi-Chi shouted in shock with a hand full of plates, me then quickly catching at least 15 of them before they could collide onto the ground, missing at least three of them in the process.
"S-Sorry, miss... couldn't save them all," I apologized, her then breathing in and out in relief after.
"Don't scare me like that again... I thought you were kidding when you said you were from space... but not only is that true, but one of you is Goku's mom?! Which one is it?!" she asked in shock.
"I dunno, why not try sensing for our ki? See which of us shares a similar power signature to Goku and the kid?" Oragna asked, which is only when they noticed the tails they all had. Goku then closed his eyes and sensed our signatures, me hiding my power as much as I could, reducing my maximum to about 600 as opposed to 2000. And he then smiled after doing so and pointed at Gine.
"You're my mom, then?... I didn't know that my parents came from another planet," Goku admitted with embarrassment.
"It's true. We come from Planet Vegeta, from a race known as the Saiyans. We're born as warriors that spend our entire lives training and fighting... though most of our race is of a more... drastic variety of fighting," Gine sighed.
"By that she means that most of the Saiyans were trained to kill, but we're a big exception," Peppino explained.
"I see... I don't sense any evil intentions from any of you, so I knew you weren't dangerous, but I did have to make sure regardless," Goku smiled.
"You actually had a heroic father that tried to save our planet... but it was futile, as it was demolished by a meteor, killing almost all of our people. And now only a scant few of us remain, each being sent to different planets and some hired by... less savory types. You have a brother who is one of those of the less savory variety," Gine explained with a sigh near the end.
"So not only do I have a mom... but I have a brother, too? What's his name?"
"His name is Radditz. And your father's name was Bardock... and who's this little guy? Is it... am I a grandma?" Gine asked with a smile, which finally made the shy Gohan look at her with surprise and then a small, shy smile.
"G-Gohan... you're my granny?" he asked, which Gine smiled at as she picked the kid up and hugged him gently.
"I'm a grammy... I'm so happy," she smiled happily after.
"So... if you come from space and you wanted to come here... is there a reason for that?" Goku asked.
"Yes, actually, there is. We're escaping my family's army because they found out I was of a more peaceful disposition than their murderous tendencies. So we wanted to hide out here to escape them... are you okay with us living on this planet? It reminds me of my old home," I smiled... and that was a lie. It reminded me of my old life, which I recalled I was just as human as Chi-Chi.
"Of course you can! Just uh... try to lay low, okay? Some people on this planet would be surprised and scared if they saw your unique appearance, miss Sally... as well as the cloud siblings," Chi-Chi smiled.
"We'll try to be quiet as mice... but fair warning, we will protect this planet if any bad things were to happen. Never before have we seen a planet full of so much life... a complete waste if it were to be taken over by anyone," Stratos said with a smile.
"Do you ever touch the ground?" Gohan asked innocently, which Sphara responded.
"We could, but then it'd send electricity all over the place. We don't want to have fried everything for lunch," Sphara blushed, us then having an awkward laugh afterwards.
