GreLiet: Rescue
Toris sighed, watching Heracles as he struggled. He didn't know how he was supposed to help in this situation, but they needed to go.
"We're going to be late," Toris said.
"I know," Heracles said. "But I can't get up. They won't let me."
Toris looked over the small, furry bodies. About a dozen kittens were climbing all over Heracles's legs, and under normal circumstances, this would be cute, but they were in a hurry.
And so, Toris went to lift the kittens from Heracles's lap and placed them next to him, only for them to climb back up. After a few tries, the Lithuanian started to put them further away, but they kept trying to return. When there was only one kitten left, he picked up the small body as he pulled Heracles up.
"We're going to be really late now," Toris sighed.
"But thanks for helping," Heracles said, before he looked down at the kittens attempting to climb his legs. "Sorry, but I've got to go."
The prompt is: 'Person A having to rescue Person B from a pack of kittens/puppies.'
Something similar happened to me in second grade. My teacher had a puppy that she would bring along, and I would stay after school, partly to clean the classroom, partly to play with the puppy, and partly because I needed to wait for my mother anyway, who was also a teacher at the school. One time, the puppy was sleeping in my lap when my mother came to fetch me, and I placed the pup in his bed. Only for him to immediately stand up and climb back on my lap. I put him back, he climbed up again. The third time I put him in his bed, I stood up before he had time to climb back in my lap.
