GreBela: Determined
"Here you go," Heracles said, as he put the bottle of painkillers and glass of water next to Natalia.
Natalia glared at the book, and for a moment, he worried that she hadn't heard him. Then she put the bookmark in place and closed the book, before she opened the bottle of painkillers.
"Thank you," she said, before she swallowed two pills down.
"You know, if you have a migraine, it might be better to rest," Heracles said. "Your book can wait."
"You don't understand. I'm at the end of a thriller. This is the part where everything starts to become clear."
"…So in other words, you can't exactly leave the book right now?"
"The curiosity is just going to make my migraine worse if I have to wait until tomorrow."
"I see. Is there anything else you'd like?"
Natalia opened the book and smiled.
"I just want you next to me, if that's alright," she said.
"That I can do," Heracles said with a smile of his own.
The other day, I developed a migraine while reading. It was just before the climax of a thriller. I ignored the migraine as best as I could to finish the book.
