"You know what, ROBERT! I'm tired of you. The world was better off when you were playing dead." Sonny shouted at him.

"Port Charles was better off before you showed up and turned it into this mess. Are you proud your children have grown up in this town?" Robert stood up.

Sonny held his hand up. "You better keep any of my children out of your mouth. I mean, where were you for your three? One of them you didn't even know about!"

Robert was really fired up about that comment. The fact that he wasn't able to be there for any of his children killed him. "At least my life choices haven't caused any of them their lives." He replied.

"At least I got to see my son grow up." Sonny replied.

Chase knew that he was pushing Robert's buttons. How could he not be? He went inside. "Okay, Sonny, I think it's time for you to leave."

"Oh, am I hitting a nerve? What's your daughter's name? Jaynie?" Sonny grinned, thinking he had the upper hand.

Chase stepped in front of Robert. "Leave, now or we will have you escorted out."

"Maybe I'll stop by, say hi to Jaynie on the way out." Sonny grinned as he left the room.

"Chase..." Robert started, but Chase interrupted.

"I'm on it." Chase went to go make sure Sonny didn't bother with Jayne, finding Jayne with JJ.

"Hey, what's going on?" Jayne was confused.

"Your dad wanted me to check on you." Chase said as he put his hand out to JJ. "I'm Chase."

"I'm Joe Kelly, Jr. or JJ as everyone calls me." JJ shook his hand.

"Is something going on?" Jayne asked, concerned about why her father wanted her checked on.

"Sonny was in here. He just needed to know you were alright." Chase replied.

"Will you tell him I am? I'm about to go to lunch with JJ, but I will stop in when I get back." Jayne didn't want Robert to worry about her.

Chase felt like someone punched him in the gut, but he knew this was likely to happen. "I'll tell him. Have a good lunch."

JJ smiled at Jayne. "You ready?"

Jayne nodded. "Yes, I'm famished." The two of them left as Chase watched, disappointed.
