When Robert and Holly got to the airport, Robert could still see the worry in Holly's eyes. It was less but still there. He wished more than anything he could make it disappear. They had also both changed into more comfortable clothes, which was good for what Robert had in mind. "I have a surprise for you."
Holly snapped back and looked at him. "Hmm?"
"I changed our trip." Robert took her hand in his, trying to reassure her while not making a big deal of it.
"You what?" Holly was surprised. She thought they both were happy going to New York City.
"How does Paris sound?" Robert asked her, knowing what her reaction would be. Holly had always love Paris.
Holly's whole face lit up as she threw her arms around him. "That sounds wonderful!"
Robert held her, loving that he had made her this happy. "I figured we needed to do this right. I wanted to take you somewhere we don't go as often. Don't worry about your clothes. You can buy some when we are there."
Holly put her hand on his forehead. "You want me to shop?"
Robert chuckled. "What I'm hoping is I keep you too busy to do too much damage." He teased her.
Holly hugged him and kissed him. "I don't think you'll have much problem with that."
Robert's hands rested around her waist. "It's gonna be a longer flight. I got you some chocolate truffles."
Holly looked deep into his eyes, the fact that he was so full of surprises, so set on making her smile, really did make her day. "You really are incredible."
"You make me a better person." Robert kissed her head then heard them announce boarding for their flight. "That's us."
Holly took his hand, pulling her luggage with the other. The two were both so excited to get back to the city of lovers.
