Virtue and Venom: Chapter 52
With Naruto and Sasuke
Naruto slashed at the Deva path with his trench knives and the Deva path brought up one of it's chakra rods to stop the blade; Naruto swung his other trench knife but the Deva path ducked under the swing and sent a stab towards him.
Naruto dodged to the side as the stab missed him by a few inches but the Deva path was not deterred; it sent a kick to Naruto's ribs sending him spying back several yards and giving it enough room to turn and engage Sasuke.
Sasuke came in from the side with sword and tanto in hand and began to attack the Deva path; Sasuke unlike Naruto had a little more of a reach advantage due to his sword and he did not have to get that close. The Deva path seeing that Sasuke's sword was longer than it's chakra rod was on an active defense as it dodged and blocked the sword.
Sasuke slashed at the Deva path and the Deva path ducked back as the blade passed by it's face by mere inches; the Deva path with a flick of the wrist launched a chakra rod towards Sasuke's face. Sasuke thanks to his sharingan was able to track the oncoming projectile and move his head out of the way; the chakra rod cut off a few strands of hair of his hair.
The Deva path opened it's free hand and spoke "All Mighty Push"; Sasuke went wide eyed as he was sent flying backward.
Naruto was getting to his feet and groaned "I think I have internal bleeding" Naruto said as he got to his feet "but I can't give up I gotta-".
"SOMEONE STUPID GET IN MY WAY" Sasuke shouted and Naruto looked at him; Naruto went wide eyed realized Sasuke was coming at him at full speed. Sasuke crashed into Naruto and the both of them were sent sailing into a tree; Naruto and Sasuke laid on top of each other in a way that seemed almost comical.
"S-Sasuke" Naruto groaned out "are you alive"; Sasuke raised his head and nodded.
"Y-yeah" Sasuke said as his whole body was in pain.
"THEN GET THE FUCK OFF ME" Naruto shouted as he threw Sasuke off of him; both Naruto and Sasuke got back up and looked at the Deva path "this guy is pissing me off".
"Naruto" Sasuke said gaining his attention "combo time; launch a wind jutsu, preferably one with a lot of spread"; Naruto hearing this nodded and smirked.
"Sure thing" Naruto said as he began to go through hand signs "Wind Style: Wind Bullets"; Naruto fired a volley of nearly 50 wind bullets at the Deva path and Sasuke got ready to launch his attack as he closed his eyes.
"Amaterasu" Sasuke said as he opened them and his EMS activated while aiming at the wind bullets; the 50 wind bullets combined with the Amaterasu creating 50 balls of black fire. The Deva path seeing this began to run, duck and dodge as the black fire bullets landed all around it setting the trees and other vegetation on fire; as it dodged one of the bullets hit it in the left arm igniting it's cloak and arm.
The Deva path knowing that it couldn't put out the flames created a chakra rod in it's right hand and used it to sever the ignited limb to ensure it wasn't destroyed. The Deva path now with one limb and away from the fire looked at Naruto and Sasuke who got ready for another assault.
"Ha… he's been disarmed" Naruto said with a smirk and Sasuke looked at him.
"Habu already used that joke; don't beat a dead horse" Sasuke said and Naruto flipped him off; Sasuke activated his Susanoo making the full torso and forming the bow on it's left arm and a sword in his right "lets finish this thing".
"You read my mind" Naruto said as he held out his hand and formed a rasengan.
With Sai
Sai threw several shuriken at the Human path which dodge the oncoming projectiles with ease; Sai seeing that it dodged jumped back onto a roof and opened up his scroll and took out his brush. Sai quickly drew several lions and made a hand sign.
"Super Beast scroll" Sai said as five ink lions shot out from his scroll and went towards the human path; the Human path seeing the oncoming ink creations got into a defensive stance. The first lion opened it's mouth ready to bite down on the human path but the path attacked before it could do so.
The Human path sent a kick hitting the ink lion and destroying it with a powerful blow; the next 2 lions attacked at the same time and the human path threw a punch and an elbow hitting both of them and destroying them.
Sai looked on and observed the human path as it fought his last 2 creations 'this thing has not used any kind of long range technique against me or my creations' Sai thought 'which means whatever ability it has is a close range one; so keeping my distance is imperative'. Sai opened up his scroll and began to sketch again as the Human path continued to fight the ink lions.
The human path jumped over a paw swipe from one of the lions and responded with a kick which destroyed the lion; as it did so the final lion pounced on the human path and began to rip and tear with its claws while also biting it with it's fangs.
As the human path was fighting the last ink lion Sai finished drawing his next creations; Sai made a hand sign and the ink creations lifted out of the sheet. Sai made 6 ink birds with explosive tags drawn onto them and sent them towards the human path.
The human path while not he ground sent a punch to the lion and hit it and dispelled it; the ink from the lion fell all over the path and the path was about to get up until it realized that there were several ink birds coming towards it.
The ink birds reached the target and exploded covering the area in smoke and fire; then it died down the human path was heavily damaged as it was missing an arm and a leg. The human path tried to get back up and lifted it's head in order to look at Sai; only for it to realize that Sai closed the distance and had his sword out.
Sai came down with a overhead slice and proceeded to chop off the Human paths head; the head rolled a couple of feet and Sai jumped over and proceeded to stop on the head. The head exploded under Sai's foot and Sai let out a breath of relief.
"That was exhilarating" Sai said looking at the Human paths corpse 'I guess I got lucky to fight this one and not another'; Sai began to run off in order to find someone else. 'The Uchiha compound is the closest place to me; I should go and see if Ino and the others require assistance' Sai thought as he rushed off to go and assist her and the others.
With Tsunade
Tsunade jumped out of the way of the giant centered as it came down trying to crush her; Tsunade ran at the centipede and cocked her fist back "Raaaaah" Tsunade roared as she swung at the centipede. Tsunade's fist crashed into the centipede and sent if flying into a building and killing it.
Tsunade turned around and saw the giant panda coming at her 'these things don't learn do they' she thought as she rushed to the panda. Tsunade cocked her fist back again, jumped into the air and swung at the panda aiming to hit it int he gut; Tsunade's fist crashed into the Panda's stomach.
To her surprise the Panda wasn't sent flying as it tanked the attack and raised one of it's claws in the air and swatted Tsunade towards the ground; Tsunade hit the ground and was sent flying into a building.
The panda looked at the building and Tsunade came out a few seconds later covered in bruises and cuts; Tsunade turned her head to the side and spat out a molar that got knocked loose and glared at the panda.
"Congratulations you big fat fuzz ball; you just pissed me off" Tsunade said; the panda roared and charged at Tsunade. Tsunade charged at the panda as now the battle was between crushing offense and resilient defense.
Meanwhile Katsuyu was fighting the animal path which was on multi-headed dog; Katsuyu fired a stream of acid at the multi-headed dog and the dog dodged as the acid fell to the ground. The acid began to melt the stone down below and the multi-headed dog charged towards Katsuyu and bared it's fangs.
The one of the dog heads opened it's mouth and bit down on Katsuyu; however it did not do the damage it thought it would as Katsuyu turned into thousands of miniature slugs and fell to the ground. The dog head that bit Katsuyu had a mouth full of the little slugs and the slugs began it's attack.
The slugs released acidic slime and the dog's mouth and jaw began to disintegrate; Katsuyu and reformed several yards away and saw the dogs head burn away due to the acid. The animal path seeing this proceeded to cut off the dogs head making Katsuyu curious as to why it did that.
"Why did that thing cut off the dogs head; isn't it afraid of killing it" Katsuyu thought; she did not have to wait long as the dogs head began to grow back along with another.
Now the dog had four heads and was glaring at Katsuyu and Katsuyu got ready for another battle when she noticed something off in the distance.
The Animal path got ready to attack but heard something behind it; the animal path turned around and had to immediately jump off of the dog as a hail of sand shuriken came raining down and hit the dog.
Gaara was up above on a platform made of sand and was aiming to take out the animal path "Katsuyu take on the creature; I will handle the summoner" he shouted as he chased after the animal path.
The animal path went through hand signs and summoned out another creature; a giant drill beaked bird appeared and it jumped on it and flew towards Gaara. Gaara seeing this manipulated his sand and sent a tendril towards the bird making it change course "these animals are such abominations" he said as he got ready for an aerial battle.
Tsuande was fighting the giant panda and dodged a claw strike as the panda took a swung at her; Tsunade jumped back and got ready to attack when she heard a shout "Eight trigram: Vacuum palm".
Hinata fired a blast of wind at the giant panda hitting it and sending it flying into a telephone pole before running next to Tsunade "Hinata; what are you doing here" Tsunade asked and Hinata looked at her.
"I helped Gaara take out the Asura path; and we both thought you could use some assistance" Hinata said and Tsunade smiled.
"Much appreciated" Tsunade said as the panda got back up "ok then, lets snuff out Smokey the bear there"; Hinata looked at Tsunade and spoke.
"But Smokey the bear is a brown bear" Hinata said "wouldn't it be more accurate to say-".
"Don't ruin my joke damnit" Tsunade roared and Hinata 'eep'd' before both women ran towards the giant panda.
With Ino, Tayuya, Temari and Karin
Ino was in a fast paced taijutsu battle against Fu and Fu was proving to be more trouble than Ino expected; with her curse mark Fu was exponentially stronger than then Ino and every one of her hits feels like a hit from a sledge hammer.
Ino threw a punch towards Fu and Fu dodged and countered with a punch of her own; Ino put her hand up and when the punch hit Ino felt her bones rattle as they tried not to break from the force of the hit. Ino sent a kick towards Fu's head but Fu blocked and grabbed her leg; Fu picked up Ino and slammed her onto the ground making her cough up blood.
Fu picked up her foot and attempted to stomp on her head but Ino rolled put of the way as Fu brought down her foot and slammed it into the ground. Fu turned to attack Ino again but was soon faced with the claw Doki courtesy of Tayuya; the claw Doki sent a swipe at Fu and Fu dodged by jumping back.
Tayuya not wanting to lose her momentum played her flute and ordered unarmed Doki charged in next; the unarmed Doki went into and sent a kick towards Fu. Fu dodged the kick and retaliated with a punch to it's head.
The punch was hard enough to decapitate the Doki and destroy it making Tayuya curse 'Green haired bitch' she thought; Tayuya began to play a special melody and both her claw Doki and her club Doki opened their mouths.
'Revolt of the Demon World' Tayuya thought as out of the mouths of the 2 Doki came out 2 ghostly, multi-mouthed Demon worms; Fu seeing this used her wings to take flight but Tayuya sent the Doki and their worms after her.
Fu flew in the air as the 2 worms followed her in flight; Fu not being able to see a way out of the situation began to go through hand signs. Fu turned towards Tayuya and shouted.
"Rinpungakure no jutsu" Fu produced a bright light that flashed the entire area; Tayuya having to keep and eye on Fu to control her Doki was hit and blinded by the light.
"Gah… bitch" Tayuya shouted as she covered her eyes out of reflex; Fu took this opportunity to fly down towards Tayuya and ram into her using her beetle horn to hit her.
Tayuya was hit full force by Fu and was sent flying across the ground dropping her flute and in turn canceling her Doki; Fu flew over and stomped on the flute breaking it in half.
"Tayuya" Temari shouted as she rushed over and opened her fan; Temari swung her fan towards Fu unleashing a wind jutsu but Fu took off before it could reach her. Fu flew towards Temari and landed a foot in front of her; Fu threw a punch but Temari blocked it with her fan.
Fu punched the steel plated fan full force but there wasn't so much as a dent in it; Temari grabbed her fan and swung it like a club towards Fu. Fu put up both of her arms and blocked the fan with a loud clang emanating from the blow.
Fu was about to attack when she felt something wrap around her feet; Fu looked down and saw there was 2 chakra chains wrapped around her ankles.
Karin attacked Fu from behind when she was distracted by Temari; Karin pulled both of her chains back at full force taking Fu off her feet and making her face plant onto the ground.
Temari saw this as an opportunity to attack as well and she lifted up her fan like an axe and brought it down over Fu; Temari slammed her fan into Fu's back making her cough up her breath and breaking one of her wings.
Temari brought up her fan once more to hit Fu but when she brought it down Fu flipped over and grabbed the fan; Fu pulled Temari down by her fan and punched her in the face. Temari let go of her fan and Fu threw the heavy metal object towards Karin.
Karin ducked as the fan flew over her head but this distraction was what Fu wanted; Fu grabbed onto the chakra chain on her feet and pulled hard pulling Karin forward and off balance.
Fu got up and charged towards Karin ready to engage her in hand to hand combat; as Fu closed the distance she cocked back her fist and threw a punch at Karin. Karin was slugged across the face and knocked to the ground and her chains disconnected from Fu's ankles.
Fu was about to attack Karin again but was knocked to the ground by a flying side kick to the ribs courtesy of Ino; Fu skidded a few feet and Ino looked to Karin "Karin are you ok" she asked.
Karin slowly got up and nodded "I think some of my teeth were knocked loose" she said and Ino grimaced.
Fu got back up and saw Ino and Karin side by side and Temari up now as well as she was walking to grab her fan; however Tayuya was knocked out and not he ground.
'One down and three to go' Fu thought as she prepared to attack again; suddenly Fu was tackled from behind by and ink tiger surprising not only her but Ino and the others.
Sai arrived a few minutes before and was buying his time to attack Fu when she was unaware; he created an ink tiger in order to attack her from behind.
The ink tiger sunk it's claws into Fu's back and dragged them down cutting her skin, muscle and nerves; Fu screamed in pain as she spun around and slammed her fist into the ink tiger dispelling it and covering herself in ink.
Sai jumped down with his fake smile on his face "hello ladies, may I be of assistance" Sai said and Ino smiled.
"Sai, you're here" Ino said released to have back up "she's proving to be a lot of trouble; we could really use your help right now".
"But of course" Sai said as he took out his short sword "after all I cannot let my you die; you're Mamushi's friend". "And in turn you're also my friend by extension" Sai said.
Fu got up and looked at Sai "you're going to die for that" Fu said "I will not fail my mistress; not now, not after everything she's given me". "Chomei; more power" Fu said.
"Very well child" Chomei said inside Fu's mind.
Fu's wings fell off as her skin began to morph and harden; what seemed like armor plates began to cover Fu much like a beetle leaving very few places uncovered. Sai looking at this analyzed this and formed a plan.
'Seems her vitals are covered by the armor but her joints are still vulnerable' Sai thought 'this is going to be tricky'.
With Tsunade, Gaara and Hinata
Gaara launched a volley of sand shuriken at the giant bird the animal path was riding on; the animal path did a barrel roll and avoided the sand shuriken and flew straight towards Gaara on his platform.
Gaara formed a sand shield in front of him as the bird got closer; the birds beak pierced through the shield and hit Gaara knocking him off his platform. Gaara fell a few feet before his gourd turned into another platform and stopped him from falling; Gaara got to his feet as he recalled his sand and looked to his chest.
His sand armor was reforming and luckily he did not sustain any damage but he was more cautious about the animal path and the bird 'I need to find a way to take it out' Gaara thought as he formed several sand tendrils and launched them towards the bird above him.
Meanwhile Tsunade and Hinata were chipping away at the giant panda by repeatedly doing hit and run attacks; Tsunade ran towards the panda with her fist cocked back and swung at it's leg. The punch connected, knocking the panda to the ground.
Hinata seeing this charged her hands and created 2 twin lion fists; Hinata ran towards the downed panda and launched her attack. Hinata hit the panda twice in the body leaving obvious damage but not enough to destroy it; the panda took a swipe at Hinata who jumped away and landed next to Tsunade.
Both Tsunade and Hinata were breathing hard as the panda was taking all their attacks head on and not showing any signs of giving up; as the panda got back up Tsunade growled.
"What the hell, I took out two of these damn things already; why is this one tougher" Tsunade shouted in frustration; Tsunade made a hand signs and shouted "Shadow Clone jutsu". Tsunade created a dozen clones and charged the giant panda; the panda swung it's claws at her and Tsunade jumped over as one of her clones was hit and dispelled.
Tsunade did a front flip towards the Panda and extended her leg; Tsunade drove her foot into the Panda's gut and sent it stumbling back. When she did that 2 of her clones attacked the Panda's right leg while 2 others attacked it's left; the panda was knocked to the ground and Tsuande and her remaining clones all jumped into the air.
Tsunade and her clones all sent full powered axe kicks towards the panda and the results were devistating; the impact caused the panda to be pushed about 20 feet into the ground. The amount of dust it kicked up spread throughout the area and shook the earth; Hinata had to cover her face in order not to breath it in.
Tsunade landed just outside the crater and looked down at the panda; Tsunade saw the giant beast was out of commission and she smiled as she looked to Hinata.
"And that's how it's done" Tsunade said "come on, lets help out your hubby"; Hinata nodded and the both of them ran over to where Gaara was.
Gaara was still in the air avoiding the giant bird as the Animal path was trying to avoid being knocked out of the air while also trying to take out Gaara; as the bird came to make another pass Gaara used his platform do drop suddenly and the bird went overhead.
Gaara sent his sand above him and hit the bird knocking it off course; however the bird corrected itself and flew back around to make another pass. Gaara was getting ready to defend himself when he saw out of the corner of his eyes Hinata and Tsunade running towards him.
Gaara sent his sand down below and made small foot pad to come up "Hinata, up here" Gaara shouted; Hinata nodded and began to run up towards Gaara using the small platforms. Gaara continued to make more as Hinata ran up but the Animal path was coming back around 'come on, come on' he thought as Hinata rushed as fast as she could.
The Animal path flew at Gaara who had to stay still but as soon as it did Hinata made it high enough to jump; Hinata jumped and landed on Gaara's platform just as the animal path got in range.
"Eight Trigram; Vacuum palm" Hinata shouted as she launched a wind jutsu towards the animal path; the animal path and the bird were both hit and sent falling to the ground. The Animal path called the bird to come and get it but before it could Tsunade made her move.
Tsunade made a shadow clone and took a lesson from Naruto's text book of moves; Tsunade used the clone to spring board herself towards the Animal path and cocked back her fist.
"Suck this jabroni" Tsunade shouted as she swung at the Animal path; the punch connected and shattered the Animal path into a dozen pieces and sending them scattered all over the place.
Katsuyu was still fighting the multi-headed dog when it suddenly stopped and dispelled; Tsunade landed on Katsuyu's head and went to a knee while breathing heavily.
"Are you ok Lady Tsunade" Katsuyu asked and Tsunade nodded.
"I need a vacation" Tsunade said as she looked up and saw Gaara and Hinata coming down; both Gaara and Hinata dismounted and stood on top of the giant slug with Tsunade. Tsunade looked at Hinata's shoulder wound and spoke "let me heal that" she said and Hinata nodded.
"What now Lady Tsunade" Gaara asked as she healed Hinata.
"Gaara, you go and help Mamushi, Anko and Orochimaru" Tsunade said and Gaara nodded "me and Hinata need to go and help out all the wounded around the village".
"Very well" Gaara said before looking towards Hinata "be safe" he said before giving her a little kiss on the cheek making her blush; Gaara flew away on a sand platform leaving Tsunade and Hinata.
"So have you two had sex yet or…" Tsunade said making Hinata blush even harder and begin to stammer and fidget; Tsunade seeing this began to laugh "hahaha, oh my god Hinata; you're to easy to tease".
With Ino, Sai, Karin and Temari
Ino took out 2 kunai and charged at Fu with Sai backing her up; Fu put up her arms in front of herself just as Ino began to attack. Ino slashed at Fu and when her blades connected they bounced off with a resounding 'clang' as Fu remained there unharmed.
Fu retaliated by sending an open hand chop at Ino and Ino placed her kunai in front of herself in a 'X' formation to block the attack; Fu's hand broke through Ino's kunai snapping her blades in half.
Ino was caught off by this and was subsequently kicked in the chest by Fu as Sai came in from the side and sent a slash at Fu; Sai aimed at Fu's elbow to see if his hypothesis is correct. Sai's short sword hit Fu's elbow and cut through with come slight resistance; Fu grunted from the pain and sent a back fist towards Sai's head.
Sai jumped back and as he did so he gave Temari an opportunity to attack; Temari swung her fan launching a wind jutsu at Fu. Fu seeing that Temari launched a wind jutsu towards her dug her feet into the ground as it came towards her.
The jutsu's cutting winds hit Fu but Fu having her beetle like armor was perfectly fine as it passed her harmlessly; Temari seeing this was now enraged as her primary way of attacking was now useless.
"Ok, screw it" Temari said as she closed her fan and grabbed it like a club "I'm just going to beat your ass to death"; Temari rushed towards Fu and Fu got into a defensive stance.
Ino seeing as how Fu was now distracted made her clans signature hand sign 'Mind Transfer Jutsu' she thought; Ino's conscious left her body as she collapsed to the ground. Sai seeing this realized what happened and looked to Fu.
Fu was about to defend herself against Temari until she grabbed her head and began to scream in pain.
Fu's mind scape: With Fu
Fu was grabbing onto her head and opened her eyes and looked around; Fu was in her mind scraped which looked like a lush and green forest.
"What am I doing here" Fu said confused.
"You want to know why you're here" Ino said as she stood across from her with a smile on her face "because you just lost". Ino made a hand sign and vanished.
Outside Fu's mind scape
Fu came to her senses and was now back in the real world just in time to be hit by Temari; Temari swung her fan at Fu and hit her and sent her rolling across the ground.
Karin seeing that Fu was down sent her chains towards her and wrapped them around her restraining her; Fu struggled to her feet and was trying to break free. Karin was straining trying to keep her chains intact and she looked towards Sai.
"Sai, take her out" Karin shouted; Sai did not hesitate as he rushed forward towards Fu. Fu strained against the chains but couldn't break free as she looked at Sai closing the distance.
Sai using his short sword sent a stab towards Fu's neck where the armor was thin; Sai's sword went through her neck severing her arteries. Sai pulled out his sword and blood began to run down Fu's neck.
'M-mistress' Fu thought as her body began to grow cold and her vision began to go dark 'I-I'm sorry; I failed'; Fu let out some coughs and gags before she fell to her knees. Fu's curse mark began to fade and she began to turn back to normal
Fu was now back to her original state and fell forward still wrapped in Karin's chains; Karin dispelled her chains and she, Sai and Temari all walked forward with caution to inspect Fu's body.
Sai gave Fu's body a quick kick and saw no response "she's dead" he said and both Karin and Temari sighed in relief; suddenly from behind them they heard groaning. Ino was getting back up holding her head as she had a massive headache and a bloody nose.
"That sucked" Ino said as she got her her feet and walked over "is she dead"; Sai nodded and spoke.
"Yes she is" Sai said simply "we should leave and find medical attention for Tayuya"; Temari nodded at this and spoke.
"I'll go get her" Temari said as she ran over and picked up her unconscious girlfriend "ok I got her lets go". Ino, Sai, Karin, Temari and Tayuya all left leaving Fu's body in the clearing thinking nothing of the now deceased girl.
Unseen by any one a small rhinoceros beetle with seven tails crawled out from under Fu and crawled onto her cheek; Chomei looked at her deceased Jinchuriki with sadness in her heart and spoke.
"Poor child… you did not deserve this" Chomei said as she mourned over Fu's body "I promise you child… I will never forget you and I will dedicate my life in your honor". Chomei took flight and began to fly north "Good bye Fu; until we meet again in another life" she said.
With Naruto and Sasuke
Naruto thrusted his rasengan towards the Deva path which dodged out of the way and sent a stab towards Naruto with it's chakra rod; Naruto seeing his attack missed dodged out of the way and canceled the rasengan.
Naruto got into his fighting stance and began to slash at the Deva path as it tried to defend itself against Naruto with only one hand; Naruto was pushing the Deva path back as it struggled to keep up.
Naruto sent a slash and locked in with the chakra rod; Naruto sent a kick to it's knee and the kick knocked the Deva path off balance for a split second and gave Naruto an opportunity. Naruto slashed at the Deva path's neck in hopes of decapitating it; however the Deva path moved it's head last minute to avoid the attack.
Naruto's trench knife cut the right side of it's face destroying it's jaw and damaging it's eye; the Deva path opened it's palm and used a 'Almighty Push' to send Naruto flying backwards. Naruto did a flip mid air and landed on the ground and as he did so he saw Sasuke rushing towards the Deva path with his Susanoo activated.
Sasuke raised his Susanoo's right arm which held a sword and brought it down where the Deva path was; the Deva path jumped out of the way and began to launch chakra rods at Sasuke. The Deva paths chakra rods hit the Susanoo and stuck in leaving cracks in it before one broke through and nearly skewered Sasuke.
Sasuke using his mothers sword deflected the chakra rod before refocusing on the Deva path; Sasuke aimed his Susanoo's bow at the Deva path and pulled back the string charing up and arrow.
Sasuke fired the arrow at the Deva path and the path barely had enough time to jump out of the way; the arrow hit the Deva path in the left leg tearing it off and making it less mobile. The Deva path with one arm left began to launch chakra rods at Sasuke who put up his Susanoo's arms in defense.
"All Mighty Push" The Deva path said; the chakra rods that were flying towards Sasuke were accelerated by the paths jutsu and Sasuke's Susanoo was hit. The chakra rods cut through the Susanoo and Sasuke had to jump, duck and dodge as the chakra rods came towards him.
Sasuke avoided nearly all the rods expect for the last one as he got hit in his right bicep and was sent to the ground as he put pressure on the wound.
Naruto seeing that the Deva path was now disabled gripped his trench knives and ran towards it while it's back was turned; the Deva path attempted to turn around, however due to it missing a leg it had lost it's mobility.
The Deva path attempted to take flight once more but Naruto went through hand signs "Wind Style: Wind bullets" he shouted before firing a dozen wind bullets at close range. The bullets didn't do a lot of damage but it bought a few seconds for Naruto as it kept the Deva path from taking flight and Naruto closed the distance.
Naruto sent a slash at the Deva path which brought out a chakra rod to defend itself; Naruto's attack was blocked but he parried the rod and sent a slash with his other trench knife. Naruto proceeded to cut off the Deva paths other arm rendering it defenseless; Naruto extended his right hand and created a rasengan and thrusted it towards the Deva path.
"Take this" Naruto shouted; Naruto buried the chakra sphere into the Deva paths chest and sent it flying across the battlefield into a tree; Naruto rushed forward and using his trench knife performed a coup de grace by decapitating the Deva path.
Naruto was breathing heavy as he looked at the Deva path but let out a sigh as he turned around and looked at Sasuke who was tending to his wound. Naruto walked over and spoke to Sasuke "he's down for the count; how are you doing" he asked.
Sasuke looked at Naruto with a look in between anger and excruciating pain "I have a foot long black rod in my arm; how the fuck do you think I'm doing" Sasuke shouted.
"Here; let me pull it out" Naruto said and Sasuke nodded; Naruto grabbed the chakra rod and with a few tugs and a few pained groans from Sasuke pulled out the chakra rod.
"Kami… fuck" Sasuke shouted in pain as he got up; Sasuke took out a small medical kit that Ino made him and began to dress his wound "at least that's done".
"Yeah, but now we need to do something about that" Naruto said as he pointed up at the sphere hovering above Konoha "do you have any ideas". Sasuke looked at Naruto and nodded.
"Maybe" Sasuke said looking at the sphere "Naruto, tell me… do you think you can add wind chakra to my Susanoo's arrow"; Naruto looked at Sasuke and shrugged.
"I don't know, maybe… why" Naruto said and Sasuke smirked.
"I'm taking a page from your book, and doing something reckless and unpredictable" Sasuke said with a smirk and Naruto looked at him wide eyed.
"First you had my interest; now you have my attention" Naruto said with a mischievous smile.
In the Sphere: With Nagato
Nagato sat inside his sphere as the last of his paths was destroyed; as he sat there in silence he contemplated his next move as he tried to figure out what else he could do.
Nagato could not summon the Gedo Statue, nor could he use the animal path to summon Konan 'what should I do' Nagato thought as he sat in the dark by himself. Suddenly he felt a rumble and the sphere shook 'what was that's he thought; a few seconds later there was a second rumble and it was coming from underneath him.
There was a small sliver of light coming through a crack and Nagato went wide eyed; there was a crash as the crack split open and something shot out. It was a chakra arrow covered in black fire which hit the ceiling of the sphere sending black flames falling down.
Nagato recognized the flames of Amaterasu and realized what was happening 'Kami' he thought.
With Naruto and Sasuke
"Ok, one more time" Sasuke said as his Susanoo pulled back it's bow string and made another arrow.
"Right" Naruto said as he put his hand together and took in a deep breath; Naruto blew out the air while mixing chakra with it onto the arrow. The arrow now having Wind chakra covering it was closing and Naruto spoke "ok Sasuke, all yours" he said.
Sasuke nodded as he used Amaterasu to ignite the arrow; the arrow was now covered in the black flames and Sasuke shot it towards the sphere up above. The arrow disappeared into the sphere and both Naruto and Sasuke looked at it.
About a second later the sphere exploded into a million pieces as black flames shot out in all directions; Sasuke canceled the Amaterasu flames to make sure that it doesn't burn the village to the ground and he looked at Naruto.
"Alright, now that that's taken care of" Sasuke said and Naruto looked at him "There's one last thing to take care of".
Naruto knocking what he was talking about nodded and spoke "lets end this… once and for all" he said; Sasuke nodded and the 2 of them ran off.
With Mamushi, Anko and Orochimaru
Mamushi swung her scythe at Habu who blocked with Samehada before parrying to the side and taking a swung at Mamushi; Mamushi ducked under the sword and sent her snake towards Habu.
Habu put her arm out and the snake bit into it making her wince; Habu then grabbed onto the snake and pulled towards her and raised her foot. Habu slammed her foot into Mamushi's face making her nose explode in a fountain of blood before swinging her sword down towards Mamushi.
Mamushi raised her scythe to protect herself and the sword hit her scythe; Habu dragged Samehada down and was able to tear some flesh from Mamushi's shoulder making her scream in pain.
Habu was about to attack again but had to dodge as Orochimaru swung at her with his Kusanagi "Mamushi are you ok" Orochimaru asked and Mamushi nodded.
"J-Just a flesh wound" Mamushi said as she looked at her wound; Orochimaru nodded as he looked at Habu and began to go through hand signs.
"Fire Style: Fire Dragon jutsu" Orochimaru fired a stream of fire which turned into the shape of a dragon and went towards Habu; Habu seeing this went through hand signs as well.
"Fire Style: Fire ball jutsu" Habu fired a massive fire ball towards the oncoming dragon and both jutsu collided; the result was a massive explosion which scorched the earth. The fire obstructed Habu's view for a few seconds and she did not see Anko rushing towards her until she close.
Anko went through hand signs as she ran towards Habu 'Water Style: Water bullets' Anko fired a volley of water bullets at Habu and Habu used her sword to block the oncoming water projectiles.
Anko using this distraction closed the distance and Habu took a swing at her; Anko ducked under the sword and Anko cocked back her fist and delivered a punch to Habu's face. Habu's head was knocked to one side and Anko followed up with another punch to Habu's gut making her cough up blood; Anko finished her attack by jumping up and delivering a kick under Habu's chin and sending her flying backwards.
Habu hit the ground and began to get back up; as Habu was rising to her feet she heard a chirping sound from behind her and turned to look.
Kakashi with a raikiri in his hand attacked her from behind; Habu attempted to raise her sword to defend herself but was too late. Kakashi's raikiri cut through Habu's arm still holding her sword and she screamed in pain; Habu sent a kick towards Kakashi hitting him in the gut and sending him backwards.
Kakashi landed a few yards away and glared at Habu "didn't expect that did you" Kakashi said and Habu looked at him with seething hatred.
"You'll pay for that" Habu said as she focused her chakra; Habu proceeded to grow back her severed limb making Kakashi and the other onlookers gag at the disgusting spectacle. Habu began to reach down towards her sword but before she could grasp it she heard someone shout.
"Amaterasu" Sasuke shouted as he landed on the ground; Samehada was ignited by the black flames and Habu had to jump away before it landed on her. As Habu jumped back and landed Naruto came out gripping his trench knives and attacked Habu from behind; Habu seeing this began to duck and dodged as Naruto attacked her with a relentless assault of slashes from his blades.
Habu dodged several slashes and reached out and blocked a strike; Naruto attacked with his other trench knife and Habu blocked that attack as well. Naruto seeing as both his arms were occupied cocked back his head and proceeded to head butt Habu in the face breaking her nose.
Naruto reached out his right hand and formed a rasengan "take this" Naruto shouted as he thrust the rasengan into Habu's stomach and sent her flying across the battle field. Habu got back onto her feet as her wound began to heal and looked around.
Naruto, Sasuke, Kakashi, Anko, Mamushi and Orochimaru were all looking at her "wow… seven of you, just for little ol' me; I must really be popular" she said.
"Eight" came a voice and everyone looked over; Gaara flew in on his sand platform and landed on the ground "sorry I'm late".
"Nah… you're right on time" Naruto said as he looked at Habu "we're just getting ready to kill this freak"; Habu chuckled and looked at Naruto.
"I missed you too Naruto" Habu said and Naruto began to feel angry, disgusted and scared all at the same time "I came here to get you to take you back with me; but look at this, you came to me all on your own, you must really miss me".
"You're going to pay for what you did to him" Mamushi said and Habu turned to her and smiled.
"You should worry more about what I'm going to do to you and your lover boy" Habu said to Mamushi making her growl in anger "but now it's time for the grand finale; I was saving this for later but I guess I can do this now". Habu made a hand sign and her body began to morph again and she detached from her snake like lower body; everyone looked on to see what she'd turn into, expecting her to turn into something more monstrous than she already was.
However when the transformation ended their expectations were subverted; Habu's skin turned into from her neck down turned into black snake like skin covering her nude body like a tight body suit. Her face reverted back to it's normal color but now her mouth had a forked tongue and 2 large fangs; around her eyes there came a black eye shadow like tint. Habu's hair took the form of snakes just like when Naruto fought her except they were purple instead of black.
"I've been hoping to use this form at some point" Habu said "what do you think"; everyone looked at her more cautiously now as she was in her final form. Naruto stepped forward and spoke.
"I think that you look dangerous" Naruto said and Habu smirked "which is why no matter what, you will die here; even if it's the last thing we do, you're to dangerous to be left alive".
"Oh Naruto, you know just what to say to turn a girl on" Habu said with a giggle; Habu got into her taijutsu stance as her nails elongated into sharp dagger like claws "lets get started shall we".
