Chapter 19 The Shibuya Summer Festival Part 1
Ichika's POV

Saki and I were eating lunch in our classroom when the door suddenly opened, and a familiar face walked in.

"Hey there, Ichika and Saki", she greeted.

"Shiho-Chan", Saki said excitedly before jumping out of her seat and rushing up to her. "What are you doing here?"

"I wanted to talk to guys", Shiho revealed, before sitting down at the desk we were at. "How are the street performances going?"

"They're going great", Saki replied excitedly as she sat back down with us.

"Even though we've only been doing it for a few weeks, it's already helped us improve our skills and gain more experience", I added.

"Plus, people sometimes stop to watch us", Saki added excitedly. "And they seem to enjoy it!"

"I'm glad", Shiho said. "Since you guys have gotten some experience, maybe you guys are ready to perform on a proper stage?"

"A proper stage", Saki asked excitedly. "Do you mean…"

"I still don't think you guys are ready to perform at the live house I work at yet", Shiho revealed. "But, I do think you guys are ready to perform in an event."

"An event", I asked in confusion.

"Do you guys remember the Shibuya Summer Festival", Shiho asked.

"I remember that", Saki replied. "We used to go to that festival with Honami during the Summer!"

"Do you remember the show they used to put on at the festival", Shiho asked.

"I do", I replied. "Whenever I saw those musicians perform, it would make my heart race."

"Would you like a chance to perform on that stage as well", Shiho asked.

"What do you mean", I asked.

"My manager knows someone on the planning committee, and they're looking for people to perform in the amateur division of the concert that's going to held at the festival", Shiho revealed. "Is that something you guys would be interested in participating in?"

When she heard this, Saki's eyes lit up with excitement.

"Performing at the Shibuya Summer Festival", she asked. "That sounds like so much fun! Doesn't it, Ichi-Chan?"

"It does", I replied, before looking at Shiho. "Shiho, we'll talk to Airi-Senpai and Ena-Senpai and get back to you."

...

After school, we met up with Airi and Ena and told them about the festival.

"The Shibuya Summer festival", Airi repeated.

"I remember going to that in middle school", Ena revealed. "Akito and I actually watched the concert Shiho was telling you about."

"And now, we get a chance to perform on that same stage", Saki said excitedly. "Isn't that so cool?"

"It is", Airi replied, before a look of determination suddenly came to her face. "Alright everyone! This is gonna be our first time doing a proper performance! We've gotta make sure it's the best it can be!

...

Some time had passed, and the day of the festival had arrived.

Currently, we were putting on yukatas in Saki's room.

"These yukatas are so cute", she said.

"They are", Ena said. "But a piece of advice. Don't wear those traditional wooden sandals. Trust me, your feet ends up hurting really badly when you wear them."

"Got it", Airi said.

"Are you sure it'll be okay to wear these while we perform", I asked.

"I'm sure it'll be fine", Airi replied.

"Saki", I heard Tsukasa say from the other side of the door. "Are you and everyone ready to go?"

"We're ready Onii-Chan", Saki replied.

"Okay, everyone", Airi started excitedly. "Let's get going to the festival!"
