Warriors: New Wings

Monarchkit of MothClan, the only daughter of the powerful leader Redstar and the graceful Swallowflight, is born into one of the four clans that share a profound spiritual bond with insects. When the cats' connections start to mysterious sever, Monarchkit will join the medicine cats of the clans to restore the bonds between cat and insect, facing hardships along the way.

CHAPTERS: Released every week on Wednesdays at 12pm CDT. Announcements will be made if there will be any delays.

CAMEOS: Want YOUR character to have a speaking role as a member of one of the other three clans? Added to the allegiances, even? It can be done! Keep an eye out for my announcements; I will be making them sooner enough!

ANIMATIONS: I am an animator; I took classes for two years back in high school and have been slowly honing those skills back. Expect PMVs and other animated projects!

LAYOUT

The goal for this book is 20 chapters, roughly 90k words, similar to your standard warrior cat book. Reference sheets featuring one of the characters will appear at the start of every other chapter. Allegiances will be updated once at the beginning of every book. The cover for the next book will be revealed at the end of the current, and there will be a two month gap in between book releases!

I may extend this gap in the future; as of now, I am writing chapter by chapter. The longer gaps in the future could allow me to write the entire book at once, and post it at once. For now, I think there's a lot of excitement and anticipation in waiting week per week to see what happens!

I am also heavily considering hiring an editing and revising team! Depending on when I open this (and the interest on it), I would be able to pay with USD *or* with art. The team will have guaranteed cameo characters and I'd love to make a reference sheet for their character.

PERMISSIONS

You are allowed to do the following with New Wings:

- Create your own headcanons and AUs of these characters. This can include sexualities, designs, relationships, etc. within a reasonable and appropriate manner.

- Create your own characters for this universe. New Wing's universe is incredibly diverse and offers all sorts of roles in the clans! Not to mention there are MILLIONS, BILLIONS of insects and the like to inspire your cat on, if you would like to. I absolutely encourage oc x canon within reason (no kit x warrior for example, NO THANK YOU).

- Create animations, PMVs, and/or any form of fanart. Even if a character has an 'official' design created by me, you are more than welcome to make your own.

You are NOT allowed to do the following with New Wings:

- Claim the series or its characters are yours; they are created by me (mantisecta). My credits page will be updated as more people work on this project; whether its friends or hired editors. This includes uploading it on other sites: please tell me the sites I should upload on.

- I highly discourage making a discord server as I will be creating one! Of course, if it gets too large to comfortably roleplay with others, I encourage it and would like to require that I can join, so I can join the fun.
