Monarchkit of MothClan, the only daughter of the powerful leader Redstar and the graceful Swallowflight, is born into one of the four clans that share a profound spiritual bond with insects. When the cats' connections start to mysterious sever, Monarchkit will join the medicine cats of the clans to restore the bonds between cat and insect, facing hardships along the way.

Leader Baldstar: Black spotted she-cat with dark blue eyes. Named after the Bald-Faced hornet.

DeputyVelvetspot: Tortoiseshell tom with amber eyes. Inspired by the Velvet ant.

Medicine Cat Darksting: Black and brown tom with dark amber eyes. Inspired by the Wallace's Giant bee.

Warriors

Bumblecloud: Beige and white striped tom with warm amber eyes. Has two large black and yellow spots on his flank. Named after the Bumble bee.

Nectarsong: Small white and grey spotted she-cay with yellow-green eyes. Apprentice: Spikepaw

Vespasight: Black and white tom with yellow eyes with an unusually long tail. Named after wasps. Apprentice: Shieldpaw

Formicapelt: Black and red spotted she-cat with green eyes. Named after the Formica ant. Apprentice: Harvestpaw

Leafclaw: Light brown tabby tom with amber eyes, with a very neat and sharp appearance. Named after the Dead Leaf mantis. Apprentice: Buzzpaw

Orchidsnow: White she-cat with one blue and one green eye. Tucks flowers into her fur. Named after the Orchid mantis.

Fireclaw: Large black and brown tom with striking orange eyes. Named after the Fire ant.

Pollendapple: Very fluffy tortoiseshell she-cat with yellow eyes.

Mudthistle: Skinny black tabby tom with yellow eyes. Named after the Mud Dauber wasp.

Stickthorn: Brown she-cat with tufts of fur scattered on her body. Has dark green eyes. Named after the Australian Stick bug.

Snailfur: Brown and beige tom with green eyes.

Spikepaw: Silver tabby tom with bright green eyes. Named after the Spiny Flower mantis.

Shieldpaw: Brown and white tom with a tuft of fur along his neck and back resembling a shied. Named after the Shield mantis.

Buzzpaw: Black and white striped she-cat with yellow eyes.

Harvestpaw: Black she-cat with amber eyes. Named after the Harvest ant.

Dunepool: Sandy brown she-cat with dark amber eyes. Mother to Mantiskit, a dark black tabby tom with green eyes and Olivepaw, a light brown tabby she-kit with dark green eyes.

Waxwing: Small yellow tabby she-cat with pale orange eyes. Has scars on her back resembling wings.
