Inosuke got up the next morning as early as ever, the sun wasn't up, but he had no reason to go to the temple. He took a deep breath as he felt more than a bit homesick at that moment. He walked to the mini shrine he had set up and prayed but he was done pretty fast too. This wasn't what was right, or it felt like he should go and do something, anything, but being inside in this room felt wrong. He got ready, one of his sets of purple shorts and shirts and his traditional robes on before he headed out for the morning, where was he going, he had not a single clue.

Walking into the morning air was different, it wasn't like being at home, it was so different. He walked from the campus as he headed to the city in the early hours of the morning. His destination was unknown, but he would find somewhere to go. The blonde walked from the campus and found a few places that were open, he noticed that one was an old store that was bringing in its goods and the smell of fresh breakfast filled the air. He looked and saw the amount of boxes that needed to be brought in. He smiled as he figured this was some work perhaps, he could help out with. He wasn't thinking about anything but having a purpose for the morning and maybe helping someone out.

"Hello, sir, mind if I help you bring in these boxes, I have time and I don't mind a bit," he said as he was already grabbing a box into his hands, it was heavy, but he could handle it. He had this need to find a purpose for his time, he was so used to cleaning the shrine that without that he was missing something. He carried the box inside as the man just kind of looked at him oddly, the old man was surprised more than anything that anyone would come out of nowhere to help without asking for anything.

Inosuke whistled softly as he moved the boxes one by one, quickly as he put them into the store, it wasn't that hard, they were not that heavy, and it was a good workout. He figured that he might as well do his part to help out the locals in the area. This was the type of thing they did at the shrine anyhow for the people in the small town that he lived near rather often. Inosuke put the boxes inside the old store by weight as he noticed it was a bakery, he figured that the goods were for making items and breakfast goods to be sold by the owner when they sold to people who came in a bit later. He figured that he might as well help this old couple who ran the store as much as possible. Mostly because it simply gave him something productive to do.

"Sir," he said looking at the old man who was running the store, um do you mind me helping by putting away the goods, you can point me in the direction and I will put them away, no problem," Inosuke said with a smile.

The old man, still a bit surprised by Inosuke's sudden offer of help, nodded appreciatively. "Well, young man, I won't turn down a helping hand. Just follow me, and I will show you what you need to do and where everything goes as well."

Inosuke nodded his head as he followed him into the bakery. He was able to smell the fresh baked goods right away. The sweet scent of the goods waffled through the air creating a rather homely atmosphere. Inosuke listened to the old man as he told him where everything went. Inosuke without another word carried and put each item where it would go and would also move heavy items around for the old man. It was nice, a good workout and Inosuke really liked helping people as well.

As he worked, he could see the happy looks on the old couple who owned the old bakery. He would find out that the old woman's name was Emiko, and the old man was Kiyoshi. The pair had owned the bakery for many years, and it was very important to them.

"There that is all done, Emiko," Inosuke said with a slight blow as his tone was very respectful.

"Thank you, dear. We appreciate your help. You're quite efficient at this," she remarked, eyeing the neatly organized shelves.

Inosuke, still focused on the task at hand, responded, "It's the least I can do. I wanted to help out, and this gives me something to do in the morning."

Kiyoshi, the jovial man who managed the business side, chimed in, "Well, you're a lifesaver. We could use a strong and willing pair of hands around here. By the way, I'm Kiyoshi, and this is my wife, Emiko."

Inosuke paused for a moment, giving them a polite bow. "I'm Inosuke. Nice to meet you both. If you need any more help around here, just let me know."

Emiko chuckled, "You're a polite one, Inosuke. It is such a nice honor to have such a dedicated and good man helping us. If you ever want to help again, we wouldn't turn it down. I can promise you can have some treats for your help, if you have time. If not just come by and visit, that is fine as well."

Inosuke smiled as he looked at the lovely couple, "Then I shall be by any morning your open, and I will help out, it is best to help out others, my gramps always told me that helping others was the best way to help oneself," he explained honestly as he gave the pair a smile. His joy and gratitude to help was obvious, "I have nothing to do in the morning and moving things around and helping out early in the morning is a good way to help out in the morning. Plus, your food smells so great too."

Emiko and Kiyoshi exchanged warm glances, touched by Inosuke's sincerity and willingness to lend a hand. Emiko chuckled softly, "Well, Inosuke, we're delighted to have you around. Your help is more than welcome, and it's true, working together can bring joy and a sense of purpose. We're happy to share our mornings with you."

Kiyoshi nodded in agreement, "You're a fine young man, Inosuke. Perhaps we can teach you something in return for all the kindness that you have shown us. I am curious, have you ever baked anything, because both my wife and myself are really pretty good. I would love to help teach you how to bake, if you are up for it."

Inosuke smiled as he thought about it. His fingers pressing against his chin as he looked at Kiyoshi and Emiko. "I think that sound fun, I don't know much about baking, but I would love to learn. I am sure that it can't hurt being able to bake."

Emiko beamed, "That's the spirit, Inosuke! I am sure your going to learn baking really quickly," she declared loudly as she grined at him. "Now before you leave, let us get you a muffin or two and a cup of tea."

"Thank you very much," Inosuke said as he was glad to have the tasty treat. He took the pastry and the cup of Tea. As he had his little breakfast he told the old couple about his life, about the things he was used to out in the country. How he worked normally at an old shrine, and how he was new to the city too. The old couple mostly just listened to him as they let him talk about himself and his life up to that point.

Emiko, sipping her tea thoughtfully, commented, "It sounds like you come from a place rich in tradition and values, Inosuke. Your commitment to your grandfather and the shrine is truly commendable."

Kiyoshi added, "And now, you're about to embark on a new journey at UA. That's quite the change, going from a small town to a bustling city and a prestigious academy. You must be excited."

Inosuke nodded, a glint of determination in his eyes. "I am. It's a big step, but I want to challenge myself and see what I'm capable of. I've been training with my sword, Mokuteki, for as long as I can remember. UA is the next chapter, and I want to make the most of it."

Emiko smiled warmly, "You have a strong spirit, Inosuke. The city may be different, but I have a feeling you'll find your way, just like you did here this morning."

Inosuke talked to them, mostly now listening to them and the history of the bakery. Inosuke soaked up the information as he loved hearing the history of the place. He listened to the details how the bakery was created and how hard the two had worked to make it successful. He felt a pride in this bakery and the hard work the old people had put into it, and he had only been there one time. The blonde smiled happily just glad to share this moment with them.

Before Inosuke left, Emiko handed him a small bag filled with a variety of pastries. "Consider it a token of our appreciation, Inosuke. Take a bit of our bakery with you. And remember, you're always welcome here."

Inosuke expressed his gratitude with a bow and a sincere smile. The unexpected encounter at the bakery had not only given him a purpose for the morning but also introduced him to two kindred spirits who welcomed him into their world of tradition and baked delights. As he left the bakery, Inosuke felt a sense of belonging in the bustling city, a feeling he hadn't expected to find so soon.

Inosuke put the bag up in his room as he created an area to keep the food carefully and then headed out for a walk of the town, he figured that it was best to get used to things in town and figure his way out between places that morning and day as a whole. Of course, in the morning air as people came out, his traditional shrine robes really drew attention to him, but Inosuke didn't care as the blonde went about walking around. He stopped as he would often ask to help people if they looked like they needed support.

As Inosuke wandered through the town, his traditional shrine robes drew curious glances and occasional whispers from passersby. The contrast between his attire and the modern cityscape made him stand out, but Inosuke moved with purpose, his willingness to help evident in the way he approached those who seemed in need.

The kindness of the teenager was not at a end, as he would end up doing a number of small acts of kindness, such as helping an elderly woman carry her groceries. He would help and really not care if he got anything for his kindness. He just liked to talk to people and learn more about his new home from the interactions with each of them. He was glad to just do what he was used to which was helping others as his grandpa told him to do.

Later that day, Inosuke found himself helping a street vendor set up their stall, carrying boxes and arranging displays. The vendor, a middle-aged man named Hiroshi, looked at Inosuke with surprise and gratitude. "Thanks, young man. Not many folks offer to help these days. What brings you to the city, and why the traditional getup?"

Inosuke, always straightforward, replied with a smile, "I'm new here, and I come from the countryside. This is how we dress back home. And as for helping, it's just something I like to do."

"You are a different kid without any doubts, pretty rare to find a kid like you these days," Hiroshi commented as he patted him on the back, "If you ever need a favor make sure to look me up kid."

Inosuke nodded his head as he walked away, as he wanted to learn as much as he could. He learned so much from the variety of people in the city. He slowly figured out the lay out of the city, and where everything was. When he had first arrived, the city felt so large. It all felt so completely overwhelming back then. Now though, he was figuring out more of it by walking made it feel less overwhelming to him. He would continue to have small little adventures helping people as he went along, but the day went by over time as he would walk home with a content smile on his lips as the blonde made his way back to relax and think about his day. However, on his way home he found a park. He walked over and found a nice bench to sit at that had a view of a lovely pond. The blue eyes of the teen looked at the pond thinking for a moment. He took out a notepad and started to make notes on the map he had. He figured this would help him in the future when he was out and about.

As he looked at the notes with is notes on it, he saw that he was going to have to keep this so he could in time fill it out completely as he had a lot of marks on the map and writing on the back of the map. The notes there where the more detailed explanations where at. Getting up, he knew it was time to head back to his dorm.

As he got back to his dorm, Inosuke put down the map and then he laid down on the bed. He felt more comfortable and more at home in this city than at any time before. He smiled thinking about the future and the many adventures he would have. This was without even thinking about the things that he would learn from school which would be just as amazing. He was excited as the blonde looked at the ceiling with an excited smile.
