Chase woke up the next morning and felt a bit sick he knew he hadn't taken is meds for 2 days and he was hoping it wasn't a sign. He drank his pills and sat on the edge of the bed, "You okay Chase?" Skye asked a but worried. "Yeah I feel a bit off, I am not sure" Chase said as he lay back down. "You are going to be late for school" Skye said. Chase ran to the bathroom and threw up he wasn't sure if it was just the stress or something worse. "Oh Chase, are you okay?" Skye asked. "I am, go to school babe" Chase said, "Are you sure?" Skye asked "Yes go I will be fine" Chase said. Skye walked out of the room and told Rocky who went to check on him, "Hey you alright?" Rocky asked, "Not sure dude to be honest I feel like shit, and I didn't have my meds for what almost 2 days? is that bad?" Chase said. "It could be but I don't know maybe go to the emergency room" Rocky said. "Ugh I can't miss more class, I already missed yesterday" Chase said. "Well I don't know man, I am sure your teacher will understand" Rocky said as he left the room to go to class. Ella was still at home and she said "Chase you want me to take you to the clinic or er or something?" Chase threw up again "Ugh!" he said as he dressed and came out of the bedroom. "Yes" Chase said as they drove to the clinic first and noticed how busy it was. Ella said "let's go to the ER it will be faster" Chase just nodded as he tried not to puke in his car.
Chase was assessed pretty quickly and was taken into a room Ella was allowed to go with him, they waited for a doctor to come. Chase looked even worse than he did a few minutes ago and this worried Ella, the doctor came into the room and said "What seems to be the problem?" Chase couldn't answer as he puke again into the bucket they gave him. "He was kidnapped and wasn't able to take his anti-rejection meds for his liver. He is puking as you can see" Ella said, "Okay I will take some blood work, have you taken you meds at all today?" the doctor asked. "yes but I am pretty sure I puked them up" Chase said. "Alright I will have a nurse come in with an IV we can at least get them in you that way" the doctor said as he left the room. The nurse came in and drew some blood and set up the IV for Chase to get his meds and rehydrated. After what felt like forever the doctor came back into the room and said, "You are not going into liver failure all the test came back for that and your liver is fine. As far as we can tell you just have the flu. Just from all the stress, we suggest taking it easy and drinking plenty of fluids" Chase was sent home shortly after really hoping the doctor was right. Chase never did make it to class but Rocky again brought him his homework.
"Thanks Rocky at least my teacher knows I am trying to keep up" Chase said, "Mr. Ruzek is actually really cool, I explained everything and he said not to worry, he will even let you do a take home test if you need to." Rocky said. "Awesome, can you go get Skye for me Rocky please?" Chase said as he laid back down sitting up made him nauseous. "Absolutely" Rocky said as he put his coat on and walked out the door. Rocky and Skye arrived home shortly after and she immediately ran to her boyfriends aid and said "Oh my poor Chasey, what can I do?" "right now babe nothing I am fine" Chase said. "Are you sure?" Skye asked, "Yeah I am just tired" Chase said as he started to close his eyes. Skye kissed his forehead and helped Ella make dinner. "Thanks Ella for taking care of him today" Skye said. "No problem, he is my friend and well he needed it" Ella said. The girls and Rocky had dinner and sat on the couch to watch some TV, Ace whined outside Chase's bedroom door. "Ace he is sleeping come cuddle with me" Skye said. Ace didn't budge he knew his owner was in trouble and he wanted to get into the room he barked loudly. "Okay fine" Skye said as she opened the door and Ace ran in barking like a lunatic, waking Chase up. "Ace what the hell?!" Skye said as Ace ran to the window and barked like crazy. She noticed the window open as she closed it and said "Ace shut up, Chase did you open the window?" "No I don't think so" Chase said he honestly couldn't remember if he had. "Weird" Skye said as Ace finally calmed down and he curled up next to Chase and stared at the window.
Skye came back out of the room and both Rocky and Ella looked at her, "What is up with Ace?" Rocky asked. "Not sure he just freaked out the window in our room was open. Maybe he heard something outside." Skye said. "Hope it wasn't anything weird" Ella said. The teens checked all the windows and the door as they decided to call it a night. Skye watched the window to for a few minutes before falling asleep. It was 2 am and Chase woke up he let the dogs out and sat at the table and did some of his homework. He still felt sick but it wasn't as bad as earlier and he was able to get some work done. At 4 am he went back to bed it wasn't long after he felt someone touch his cheek. It was a cold hand and it startled him awake as he stared in the dark, he saw a figure and he turned on the lamp. The figure was gone so fast he didn't get a chance to see who it was. Chase started to panic and this woke up Skye, "You okay babe?" she asked. "Um I am not sure, I felt something touch me and then I swear I saw someone in the room" Chase said. "Well the dogs are not freaking out so maybe it was just a dream?" Skye said. "Maybe but the dogs aren't in the room" Chase said. "Hmm that's weird the window is open again" Skye said as she got up and closed it.
The next morning everyone was getting ready for class and Chase was feeling a bit better and he decided to go today. As they left the house Chase couldn't help but feel like he was being watched as he looked around and didn't see anything. "You good Chase?" Skye asked. "Yeah totally" Chase said not wanting to worry her. He just had a super weird feeling then he remembered "hey what was the name of the girl that was with you when you were taken?" Chase asked. "Becky why?" Skye asked, "No reason I just couldn't remember" Chase said knowing now that the girl Beth was not the same person. Chase felt off for the rest of the day as he couldn't help but feel like he was till being watched. Everyone managed to get through the day and Chase went to the gym to talk to the coach. "Chase glad you are okay" coach said. "Yeah, I was super sick yesterday and I still don't feel 100% is it okay if I skip practice today?" Chase asked. "We have a game tomorrow" Coach said. "I know and I want to be better for the game, I just want to rest so I am not sick tomorrow" Chase said. "Okay Chase, feel better. We need you in that game tomorrow" coach said, "I know coach thanks" Chase said as he met Skye and they walked home.
"You don't have practice?" Skye asked, "Yeah but I am not feeling up to running around I am skipping it" Chase said. "Good I miss you" Skye said as she kissed him and they walked into the house. "What the hell?" Chase and Skye both said as it looked like the place had been robbed. It sounded like the dogs were locked in a room and Chase opened the bathroom door and Ace of course was freaking out. Buttercup, Aliya and Scrap seemed unphased, "Ace really is a lunatic" Skye said. "He is a german shepard Skye he is trained to sense danger" Chase said as he called the police. "Hi police department" a lady answered, "Yeah I want to report a robbery at 1401 maple way" Chase said. "Okay was anything of value taken?" the lady asked. "I am not sure I just got here but the place is a huge mess" Chase said, "Alright we have police on their way there now." the lady said. The police arrived shortly after along with Ella and Rocky who were just as shocked. "Does anything seem to be missing?" a officer asked. "No its weird all our laptops and everything are still here" Chase said. "Could it have been the dogs that did this?" the officer asked, "I highly doubt that they could lock themselves in the bathroom" Chase said annoyed at the cop. "Sorry I just need to ask, anyone else have a key?" the officer asked. "No one other than all of us" Rocky said. "Chase the bedroom window is open again?" Skye said as she came out of the room. The officer went to check it out and dusted for prints, "I suggest getting a new lock for that window" the officer said realizing it was broken. "I will run these prints see if we find anything" the officer said as he left. "He isn't going to find anything, cops in this town are idiots" Chase said as he checked for prints himself. Chase was able to get a few prints and he felt that some of them were Skye's and his. "Its so cool you can do that" Skye said, "Yeah it is, this detective stuff is fun" Chase said as he scanned the prints into his computer and sent them to Travers in Adventure Bay.
Travers got the ping on his computer and read the email Chase sent, he checked the images and ran the prints through the database. He called Chase, "Hello" Chase answered, "Hello, still keeping me busy I see?" Tavers said. "Sorry I just feel like the cops here are idiots, and I am not even sure the prints worked, I am still new at this" Chase said. "Hey it was good police work, I was able to find a hit one of the prints is your obviously and there is 2 other prints one of them is unknown. The other is weird it belongs to a girl name Beth Rogers, she has been missing for quite sometime." Tavers said. "She was the one that was in that house with me remember, she was taken to the mental hospital" Chase said. "Yes and they reported her missing again, but it doesn't really look like they are trying very hard to find her. Why do you have her prints?" Tavers asked. "She was in my house! I think she is stalking me to be honest, she has been in here 3 times now." Chase said. "Hmm, I am not sure what I can do from here Chase" Tavers said, "You already helped a lot thanks" Chase said as he hung up. At least now he knew that this girl was stalking him and he knew she was the one watching him. Chase checked all of his things and noticed that his hoodie was missing. "She took my hoodie!" Chase said annoyed as it was his favorite one. "Who did?" Skye asked, "That girl Beth the one I told you about she was the one in our house. She is stalking me Skye" Chase said. "How do you know that?" Skye asked. "She was in our house 3 times, twice last night and once today where she stole my hoodie, and her prints were on the window. I had Tavers trace them for me" Chase said. "That is scary what can we do?" Skye asked. "I don't know I mean I guess we just wait for the cops here to do something and we replace the lock on that window" Chase said as he asked Rocky to help him fix it. Rocky was able to fix the window and they tested it out and were unable to open it from outside. Beth was not getting into the house through that window anymore anyways.
