Entrance

Ambulance sounds, men in strange hats and black cloaks appearing out of nowhere. Strange things were happening this evening that muggles couldn't help but look at curiously. Even though they would never know exactly what happened, they knew, something had happened somewhere. Bad things. Because this much chaos could never be a good sign.

They were right in their thoughts. The incident took place in a hospital. In fact, everything had already happened. That's why Happy Daisy was resisting the tears that were waiting to flow. If Dante hadn't been with him, he probably would have collapsed on the ground already. But he couldn't do that, could he? When he came out of the hospital, there were traces of the confusion he had just checked on his face. She looked at the remains of dust and… she turned her eyes to her hands. Blood.

"Daisy."

Daisy felt like she was about to collapse. My best friend…

"Daisy, Linus is here, get over yourself immediately." Dante's voice was commanding, he rarely spoke to her like that. But Daisy only realized that their boss had arrived when Dante grabbed her elbow and shook her slightly.

Linus Holmes was walking towards them, his face white and his eyes filled with terror. Daisy took a deep breath and tried to ignore the blood on her hands.

"Daisy!" said the man breathlessly. "For Merlin's sake! This-this is what I heard… tell me it's not true right now!"

I wish so much…it wasn't true.

"Unfortunately, sir."

"Merlin!" Linus just stared like someone who didn't know how to clean up this mess. This broke Daisy's heart. It seemed like this resentment would never go away.

"This…" said the man breathlessly. "Who is responsible for this?"

Dante shifted uneasily.

"Me and Till led the operation. Till is in there."

"Where were you when it happened!" said Linus angrily. "Don't tell me you left him alone with the aurors!"

"I was… interrogating Potter, sir." said Daisy. "But there were a dozen fully equipped aurors in the hospital. You have already received the news. All…"

"Let go now!" Linus said. "We're in trouble!" He looked around angrily. Then he turned his angry eyes back to Daisy. "Has the crime scene investigation arrived?"

Dante: "It's all inside." said. He felt that Daisy could not speak. "I looked at it myself."

"Conclusion?"

"Nothing of much use, Mr. Holmes. Unfortunately."

Linus pinched the bridge of his nose with his hand. "So… his signature, did he have it?"

Daisy took a deep breath, and Dante saw her chest rising and falling rapidly.

"Yes. 12 lilies…"

12 lilies were not carefully left on the bodies, as in other murders. Daisy's mind was filled with the images she had just seen. He threw them all in the middle of the room. Because he didn't have time.

"There is something else you need to know, sir, it is important information."

Linus looked at Dante as if to say, "What more can you say?"

"Ilyssa was led by… Clary."

Linus' eyes suddenly opened. Daisy knew he was only thinking of his seat, and the urge to wrap his arms around Linus's neck and strangle him was hard to resist. But he just squinted at the man.

"Merlin… Don't… don't tell me he's dead too, Dante! We will burn, Robert Granger will eat us all raw!"

Silence.

"He did not die." said Daisy suddenly. "He… was kidnapped. Basil kidnapped him."

The next day, this news appeared in the headlines on the first page of Ak Kuzgun, even if it was not on the first page of the Daily Prophet. The headline was: "The Auror Department's Disgraceful Operation That Ended in Disappointments!"

The headlines continued. "The Basil Case: Linus Holmes Dismissed"

And the next day, "Basil File Retrieved from Happy Daisy and Team."

But no one talked about Daisy's grief. The disbanding of the team, the dismissal of Linus, the transfer of the file to another team, none of this mattered to him. He had lost his best friend, Clary.

And thus, a crisis occurred in the magic world that lasted for a long time. Many people were affected by this crisis. Many people were dismissed, many people lost their lives, and trust in the aurors was shaken. But the news was always the same. Because no one was wondering about anything else. Nobody… cared about them, the families of the victims. No one knew about the grief they were experiencing. This is how a great story began. This beginning was very shocking, good job for the journalists. But when the story would end, perhaps the entire magic world would be crushed by a great shock. Nobody would even have the strength to write news, who knows? But for now, no one knew about them. From them… From Hermione and Potter.

It must be admitted that Potter had a considerable reputation in the magical world. Almost everyone knew him; because it often made headlines. And in all the newspapers. Whether high or low... Harry Potter! That boy who is involved in all the dark things! Of course, he wasn't a child anymore. He was turning 25 this year. Hermione, on the other hand, was someone that very few people really knew. By this time his name should have appeared in only a few sentences in the newspaper. He didn't like publicity, so even after graduating first at Hogwarts, he flatly rejected the journalists who flocked to his mansions. And he devoted his whole life to academic studies. And these two had never actually met, even during their shared years at Hogwarts. There was no such person as Harry in Hermione's world, and Harry's world was already very different.

But now times were changing, fate was changing. Hermione realized this when she got there. And right down to your bones. In fact, when he arrived at the scene, everything had already happened. The crime scene investigation was dispersed, the bodies of the victims were taken away, the place was tidied up, the necessary spell to make the muggles forget was cast, and what was left was an empty darkness. No, the streets and the hospital where the events took place were still bright. But Hermione's heart had never felt such endless darkness before.

Now… the dance with the darkness was beginning. Was the magical world ready for this? Potter and Granger were getting together. And they both had one goal, to catch Basil.
