Ryder was trying to figure out the options for Mackenzie as he talked to a social worker he wanted to make sure her sister was responsible. Chase was really hoping his date wouldn't get involved but there was nothing he could do to stop him. Chase fell asleep dreaming about Skye and he had a pretty vivid dream about her.
The next morning he texted Marshall.
Chase: Marshall we need to do a double date with our ladies
Marshall: Okay but why?
Chase: I had a dream and it was awesome, plus we haven't done it in a while
Marshall: If we can get a babysitter we can do it tonight I am off
Chase: Awesome!
Chase dressed and went downstairs and asked him mom, "Hey mom are you busy tonight? I want to double with Marshall and Everest tonight and they need a sitter" "I guess so, Ryder and I can do it" Katie said. "Thank you so much!" Chase said with excitement as he ran over to Marshall's, "Dude my parents will watch the twins, we are going out tonight" Chase said, "Awesome but where are we going?" Marshall asked. "It's a surprise dress formal, and tell Everest" Chase said as he left to go tell Skye. When Chase arrived Skye was getting ready for work, "hey beautiful, would you be able to fly us somewhere tonight?" Chase asked, "Maybe if you tell me where?" Skye said. "I will in time just be ready and dress formal" Chase said as he kissed her and went to work himself.
Zuma was getting ready for the day and Zoe was planning their wedding she was so excited to get married. "I love you Zoomer have a good day at work!" Zoe said, "Zoomer? I love you too babe" Zuma said kissing her. "Yes you are my Zoomer!" Zoe said as Zuma left for work, Zoe called up her bestie Alyssa and she came over to help with wedding prep. "You are so lucky, I wish I could get married" Alyssa said, "You will in time girl, just give Rubble a chance he is really shy and I feel he just needs time" Zoe said. "I know but it is hard waiting for that boy, I love him but he is finally after 5 years coming out of his shell" Alyssa said. "Yeah girl you might be screwed I am not going to lie. I am surprised Chase hasn't proposed yet though I always thought he would be the first" Zoe said. "Chase is very particular though, he loves Skye so much but he is also very sure of what he wants. I know he will in time propose to her, he just needs the perfect moment" Alyssa said. "True it is going to be so romantic his proposal, I picture them as an old couple" Zoe said. "You are so weird, back to your wedding" Alyssa said. "Right" Zoe said concentrating on her wedding details.
Rocky was doing more online courses as he wanted to be the best at what he did when Ella came into the room. "Hey Rocky can we talk for a sec" Ella said, "Sure babe what is wrong?" Rocky asked. "Nothing is wrong I just have been thinking a lot about this" Ella said, "I am listening" Rocky said. "I don't want a big wedding, in fact I don't really even want a wedding at all. I feel they are unnecessary and expensive" Ella said. "Are you sure, we don't have to have anything huge" Rocky said. "I am sure I want us to have a private intimate ceremony with 2 other people of our choice and then we can have a huge reception with our friends and family. I really don't need all the glitz and glam, I just want to be your wife" Ella said. "Okay I understand, and I am surprised I thought you and Zoe were having a double wedding?" Rocky said. "Zoe is going way over board with this and I just like simple. I am not huge into being the center of attention and I had Tuck who took all that away from me as a kid. I am who I am and I don't want a wedding" Ella said. "Okay I am actually glad because I agree on it being expensive, I love you Ella and I would do anything for you, plus I just want to be your husband" Rocky said. Ella giggled as she kissed him and she allowed him to finish his school work as she went to talk to her mom and Tuck about their decision.
The day ended for Chase and thankfully nothing extreme happened other than having to find a missing dog. Chase actually liked the boring cases as he didn't have to really do much and no one was getting hurt. Chase went home and showered and dressed in a suit and tie as he went downstairs. "Wow where are you going?" Cassie asked, "on a double date with Marshall, we are flying somewhere special tonight" Chase said. "Chase before you go I want to give you this, I know you are not ready and you don't by any means have to use this. I have here your grandmothers engagement ring, I know she would want you to have it and for Skye to wear it." Katie said. "Wow thanks mom, and I am not ready but I will take it just in case" Chase said. Katie smiled and kissed her son as they all went next door. Marshall and Everest were ready as the twins greeted their grandparents. "We might not be back until tomorrow sorry if that ruins plans" Chase said as they left. Ryder rolled his eyes but he didn't mind he liked spending time with the kids.
Chase, Marshall and Everest picked up Skye and Chase's mouth dropped as he saw his girlfriend's outfit. "Holy shit you look amazing" Chase said, "Thanks" Skye said as they drove to the airport. Skye was able to take the small charter tonight and Chase told her to fly them to Niagara falls. Skye did as she was told and they arrived an hour later, Chase had a special evening planned for them, he asked everyone to pack a change of clothes as well. They had a really romantic dinner in a very fancy restaurant, this was why they dressed formal. They had live music and danced until the sun went down. They watched the sunset over the falls and Chase said, "No for the fun part lets change into our swimsuits" Chase said. "Why?" Skye asked, "just do it trust me" Chase said. Once everyone was in their swimsuits they were standing at the top of the falls where a zipline was set up and Marshall looked like he might puke. "No way are we doing this" Marshall said. "Oh my god this looks like fun, come on babe" Everest said as they were all harnessed up. Chase went first and it was so awesome as they falls sprayed you on the way down. Once at the bottom he landed in a warm pool and waited for the others, Skye came down next and she screamed and laughed at the same time. She landed in the pool next to Chase and said, "That was fricken awesome!" Marshall came down next as Everest was afraid he would chicken out, he screamed the whole time. When he landed in the pool his face was white and he looked sick. Chase laughed he thought it was hilarious, "I hate heights" Marshall said, "but you had fun admit it" Chase said. "Alright fine it was fun" Marshall said with a small smile as Everest landed beside him. "That was freaking cool" Everest said kissing Marshall she was proud of him for conquering his fear.
The rest of the evening Chase booked a couple of cabanas and the couples went their separate ways for some much needed alone time. "This is the first night since the twins were born that we have been alone" Everest said. "I know it is amazing, let's have another baby" Marshall said. "Are you nuts, I don't want another baby" Everest said. "Why not I always pictured us having lots" Marshall said, "I mean I do want more but not yet, I am busy enough with the twins. I can't imagine another one just yet. They are only 3" Everest said. "Okay, I still want to make love to you" Marshall said. Chase and Skye on the other hand were already making love and when Chase finished he said, "Skye I love you so much" "I love you too Chase" Skye said. "I just want you to know Skye, I do want to marry you, I just don't feel like we need to rush into it" Chase said. "I know I get it, but it is just hard I see you as so much more than my boyfriend and a ring on my finger doesn't mean we have to get married tomorrow" Skye said. "You would be okay with a long engagement?" Chase said. "Yes I don't want to get married right away either, but I want you to know that I am not forcing you to propose either. I want you to do it on your own terms. I love you either way" Skye said. "Thanks babe" Chase said kissing her and then decided to take her into the jacuzzi.
The next morning the couples woke up feeling relaxed and rejuvenated as they had breakfast. After breakfast they watched the falls for a little bit and took pictures and then Skye flew them back home. "Thanks Chase that was a lot of fun" Everest said as they landed back in Adventure Bay. "Your welcome" Chase said as they drove home. Everest and Marshall were tackled by their twins when the walked into their house. "Mommy!" Callie said, "Daddy" Joshua said as they were scooped up and tickled. "Thank you for watching them" Everest said to Katie and Ryder, "you are welcome anytime" Katie said kissing each of them as they walked back next door. Chase went upstairs to take a nap as he was tired and it was his only day off this week.
Ryder received a call from the social worker and she said "I have looked into it, and Mack is actually doing a lot better in school since moving in with her sister. Her grades have improved and she is much happier. I am spoken to her sister and showed her a picture of the man who took your daughter and she said he is no longer her friend. She had no idea and feels bad she put Cassie in danger. She has assured me that all her friends include Mack into their lives and each of them help her in certain way. I will continue to keep and eye on her but I am happy with her placement right now" "Okay thank you for looking into it, and I am sorry I bothered you" Ryder said "No it wasn't a bother I needed to check on her anyways" the social worker said as she hung up. Cassie came into the room and said "Daddy, can Mack come over?" "Sure honey, just be mindful of Chase I think he is napping" Ryder said. "Okay thanks" Cassie said as she called Mack. Zoe almost had her entire wedding planned and she was really excited as the date was getting closer. Her wedding wasn't going to be huge but it was going to be all about the glam as her color theme was royal blue and royal purple.
