Following the battle, Ben has beaten the Justice League with the help of Waybig, but due to Blukic and Driba's stupidity regarding the Omnitrix remote which can function across the Multiverse. He was forced to turn back into a human from Waybig. Luckily he was caught by Batman. Ben could've reactivated the master control anytime, but let them take him in just to show them that they can't take the Omnitrix off him. No matter what, in order for them to stop being hostile towards him, little did he know that wouldn't stop them.
They tried everything, from using earth tech to Oa's, to new gods. Nothing they learned nothing of importance from it. Other than it seems to be a part of him because it acts like when an organ when is attacked. The technology seemed to be simple in design but complex to understand. Luckily for Ben Azmuth had reprogramed some of the nanites left by Rex inside of Ben when he tried to cure him as Diamondhead. He reprogramed them after he extracted them from Ben, to defend the Omnitrix
After Batman and Stranger hold a discussion Batman decides the Alien Force group can stay at Beast Boy LA penthouse for now. Ben didn't know how to feel about this situation. He had only bad experiences with celebrities before. Ranging from Will Harangue, Captain Nemesis, Jennifer Nocturne, Kangaroo Commando, Billy Billions, Nyancy Chan. It is kinda ironic cause Ben himself is a celebrity to speak of, but he eventually got more humble over time, and now is a casual celebrity. Ben looked at Beast Boy with skepticism his guy gave out only bad signs of a celebrity, unknown to Ben this guy recovered from a nasty depression.
They walked to Zeta Tube, but most importantly before that Kevin asked the guy operating him Adam Strange, who described to Kevin how Zeta Tubes work. Kevin was recording him, with his Plumber badge in order to do some reverse engineering on their tech to sell it to the plumbers or other buyers. Kevin was able to understand what he was saying. He managed to get a good understanding of how Zeta Tubes work.
Adam Strange chimed in, his voice carrying a note of warning. "The technology behind Zeta Tubes is incredibly complex. It's not something to be trifled with lightly."
Kevin nodded in amusement "Sure thing, all plumber tech is like that too" Adam Strange sighed in defeat, unbeknownst to him, Kevin stole the blueprints to the Zeta Tubes.
At Premiere Building, Garfield Logan's mansion
Ben didn't feel that good after going through the Zeta Tube, it was clear that Galvan's teleportation tech was seamless compared to this. "Oh man this feels like I drank a mold smoothie"
"For once, I think the smoothie would have been better" had a headache from it
"I could recalibrate this tech to be better" Kevin mocked their tech
Rook chimed in "It seems that this tech doesn't have authorization, from the galactic court"
As they walked further into the main living room, they were greeted by Beast Boy
"Allow me to introduce myself, I am the greatest TV Star ever to live, that's right" He made an introduction gesture, and the Alien Force team looked unimpressed, " I am also the greatest superhero, and the leader of the greatest team ever "The Outsiders" Ben, Rook, Kevin and Gwen literally cringed inside.
"Gar, you know I am still the leader, right?" Wonder Girl told him, with a glare while crossing her arms. Besides you have dishes to wash, you didn't forget right?" Beast Boy walked to the Kitchen in defeat.
She then turned to the alien force group, and due to her Amazon heritage, she first greeted Gwen first "Hi, I am Wonder Girl, but you can call me Cassie! She made a saluting gesture towards Gwen.
"I'm Gwendolyn, nice to meet you too!" Gwen responded to her politely.
"Do you guys wear casual clothes as your superhero uniforms?" Wonder Girl asked the child curiously.
"Ben and Kevin, mostly do. Rook has a plumber uniform. And to not confuse you Plumbers are the space cop ones, not the ones that handle toilets….Now as for myself, I sometimes switch between them depending on the treat level" Gwen shrugged at the last part, leaving out a smile as she tilted her head to the right. "This technically is a teacher uniform, I am preparing to become a teacher early"
"Okay... The plumbers thing is kinda weird… How could you become one this early?". Wonder Girl was confused
'Who would think they are space cops, if they are called Plumbers? As for the second question, I learned 7 years in nearly 3, and choose to have more exams each semester"
"I get that makes total sense… and wow you must be a nerd" Cassie replayed to Gwen.
"I personally prefer ahead of others, if you don't mind" Gwen was a bit annoyed at being called a nerd
She then turned to Ben "Quick question Ben, what was the orange creature, you used to defeat me? Cause I want a rematch later if you don't mind"
"Sure, that was a Detrovite, pretty strong guys… I got that one after I found a guy I haven't seen in years, Technorg..." As soon as Ben mentioned that name Kevin dragged Ben aside.
"What's wrong?" Ben was caught off guard.
"You met Technorg again?" Kevin looked a little panicked
"Yeah, me and Rook found him in a cryo pod somewhere in space, still don't understand how you beat him" Ben responded to Kevin as curious as he was
"I think I used Ghostfreak's magic beam, forget that, does he know I am on Earth?" Kevin panicked even more
"Dunno, I talked to Eunice, he wanted to be the new honorary DNA sample for the Detrovite in the Cordon Stream… Rook talked with him"
Rook followed them. "I told him you are located on earth and that you are a plumber now, I think he will leave you alone" Rook ended it with a smile.
Kevin slowly fainted, he left his car back home, Technorg could destroy it anytime, he wanted.
"What's wrong it him?" Asked Wonder Girl, after she was Kevin collapsing, somewhat concerned, as she wanted to approach him.
"It's something about his car, isn't" Gwen rolled her eyes, but smiled. She went to check on him.
Ben returned to the main room, he wanted to get at least to talk with these guys a little. Ben was grabbed by the tough guy with the black shorts with an S symbol on it.
"Not so fast" he grabbed Ben, then was confused as to why so many people were against him here, like real. "We will have a rematch, I ain't losing to a plant, even if it shoots fire for some reason"
"A plant alien that shoots fire is more realistic than an alien that looks human in my book" Ben shot back at Superboy, he was angry as Ben commented, because the Genomorphs have difficulties adapting to human culture. He accidentally ripped Ben's jacket apart, a big mistake.
"He shouldn't have done that," said Rook, worried about what is to come next.
Ben turned into Four Arms, Superboy threw a punch toward him, and Fourarms caught his wrist with one of his lower arms. He tried to punch him with the other arm, but Fourarms did the same. Superboy was stuck he was trying to free himself but Fourarms arms didn't even flinch. Fourarms started to smirk at Superboy.
"Here's the price, for my jacket" Fourarms delivered hooks with his upper arms, making the windows and walls of the upper floor shatter, Gwen was quick to cover everyone. "That jacket cost the lives of the Universe, that's no joking matter," Fourarms said that as he lifted an unconscious Superboy off the ground, and tossed it aside.
"My precious building!" Beast Boy put his hand on his head and was about to faint out
"Remind me to piss this guy" Blue Beatle commented on the event to his best friend
Kid Flash (Bart) looked amazed by this, "Damn if he only came earlier in this timeline, I might not even end up here"
Ben then turned into Clockwork to restore everything with a time Ray. He still kept the dishes unwashed though.
Meghan just supported Superboy to walk, away from Ben so that doesn't try to wrestle with Ben again.
Blue Beetle wanted to ask Ben something, "How come your watch was able to remove my scarab?'
It is higher tech, my Omnitrix says your suit is level 9, that's all" The Omnitrix scanned Blue Beetle to everyone's shock, the dial popped up and Ben turned into a Reach Member, it was a taller member not as tall as Black Beetle but still, he was all green. Ben started to play a bit with Plasma cannons and sonic cannons, it was fun, it reminded him of TenTen.
"You make it look easy, ese, it took me weeks to do that" Blue Beetle was quite impressed with this guy he clearly knew what he was doing
"I am a natural, watch and learn" Ben lil bro's Blue Beetle. It looked quite awkward for Blue, as both Bart and El Dorado laughed at this.
Bart asked Rook about that Amber Ogia thing to which Rook responded "It's the best food in the universe, don't worry about it have some Amber Ogia rations with me I believe you will like them a lot"
Bart devoured those small rations and looked extremely pleased, Ben was confused how could someone not Rook's species like it that much, Ben thought Amber Ogia was alright, it would be better in smoothies thought.
They were amazing "We need to grow them on earth too" Rook was pleased to see someone fascinated by Amber Ogia.
Ben was approached by Beast Boy "So I understand you can turn into things, and you have the color green as your main color, not very original man"
"Not original. dude I am pretty sure I became a hero before you?" Ben crossed his arms with a smirk at Beast Boy.
"Oh yeah? When?" Beastboy shoots back at Ben
"Summer of 06, I was 10 at the time on a road trip with Grandpa Max, in Yosemite National Park" Ben tried to summerise things as quickly as he could. Beast Boy was a bit shocked
"You became a hero at 2 years old that's insane dude" Beast Boy could even understand how that's possible
"Wait, I was 10 there, dude, what year is it, isn't it 2014?" Ben was confused
"It's December 2020, is impossible for you to be 18, if you were 10 back in 06" Beast Boy was confused
Robin told them his opinion on this "If they come from a different universe, then is highly likely that time doesn't align with our time. It doesn't have to"
"How could they even exist here then? Shouldn't have they just shown in our universe back in 2014 then?" Looker looked confused at Robin's comment
"They clearly aren't just from a different universe, it seems there's more to it" Robin responded
Wonder Girl decided to interrupt them, she needed to have them make some former greeting.
She presented them with the team "Guys these are" She pointed to each member individually "Beast Boy, Blue Beetle, Kid Flash, Static, El Dorado, Terra, Forager, Robin, Stargirl, Windfall, Livewire, Looker, Superboy and finally me Wonder Girl" She ended with a gesture to her and a smile.
"Names aren't your strong suit guys, aren't they? Okay I admit Windfall is a look name"
"Thank you, if you have a form with wind powers, what do you name it? Asked the blond rather curious
"Well, this, Terraspin!" shouted Ben as he turned into him, and started to fly around the outsiders while making a small tornado under him.
"It looks fun" responded her, "This creature is pretty cute," said Windfall as she wanted to pat him on his head, Terraspin responded with a smile to her
Perdita who came to visit the outsiders, flirts with Ben "I like your four-armed transformation, maybe a little too much" This made Beast Boy shiever a little this guy was impressing his ex with ease.
Meghan's Sister after seeing Ben transforming into a Psychomorph (Green version) became obsessed with him, she was comically chasing him throughout the building, it was pretty ridiculous. Ben turned into a White one as well to try to steer her away but she still wanted to ask him to hang out with her. Meghan's Sister is obsessed with Ben's Martian form, she somehow acts worse than Kai about it. Ben tries to turn into The Worst but she just picks him as a plushie.
"Does this happen often, chicks are over the heels into his forms?" Asked Static, rather amused.
"Too often" spoke in unison Rook, Gwen, and Kevin, each with a different tone.
The Justice League were watching the whole thing via security cameras, they were kinda shocked to see the Clock-like alien, and Ben having no issue taking Conner out.
After Meghan convinced her sister to let Ben's Psychomorph form alone as he transformed back, Meghan wanted to talk with Ben a little. "I am sorry for my husband being a bit mean to you"
"No problem it seems everybody is paranoid here, heck I thought some of my villains were petty" Ben explained as he wasn't mad at her or Superboy.
"Ben, may I ask you for comes you can switch between Martian forms? I am very surprised you can do that" Miss Martian (Meghan) asked Ben this since she was curious how this is possible.
"Well the Omnitrix has a function that allows me, you select subspecies of any species I can turn into, no matter how many" Ben turned into Upchuck (Perk) then he turned into Upchuck (Murk) you proved his point to her.
"That's very intelligent but Martians have races, not subspecies" Meghan was a bit concerned since the Omnitrix seemed to be quite advanced and it might tell the truth about Martian biology.
"Let's ask the watch shall we? Hey Omnitrix what's up with her species?" Ben lifted his left hand towards his chin as he started to speak with the Omnitrix.
The Omnitrix made some sort of beeping noise then the faceplate turned bright green and it spoke "Subsequent analysis of the two recently cataloged DNA samples, indicate slight differences regarding the species abilities that extend beyond trivial pigmentation. The sample of the White Martian DNA indicates a stronger psychic brain, in contrast with the sample of the Green Martian DNA, which indicates a stronger physical body " As soon as the Omnitrix finished Meghan put her finger on Ben's lips to indicate that he needs to keep this information secret, it could start some issues on her planet, cause her White Martian people fought a lot in order to obtain a better status in Martian society
"Sure thing" Ben made a zipping gesture of the lips with one of his hand
Forager asked Ben if he could turn into his species which he did, he was shocked that he didn't have a speech problem, as he used I and me, not Forager.
He shyly approached Ben "Forager ask Ben 10 to turn into Forager species, if Forager doesn't annoy Ben 10" Ben looked at them a bit weird. "Sure dude"
Ben turned into his Genesis Bug transformation and shouted "Painball!", then he turned to Forager.
"Happy now? Frankly, this one seems to me like a bug mixed with Cannonolt, but I might use it more back home, so what do you think, dude?" He kinda joked that he liked his Arburian Pelarotas, more than the Genesis Bugs.
"Forager doesn't understand how a fellow Forager, is able to not Forager while addressing other Forager by Forager" Forager tried to talk to Ben about something that he doesn't understand at all.
"We might wanna whip out the universal translator on this one " Kevin was lifting his plumber badge in the air and it shot a yellow beam toward Forager, he was confused.
"Try to speak to us again, let's see if this fixed your speech impairment" Gwen tried to encourage him to speak.
"What does your device do to me" He freaked out that he could speak so much better.
"How? What? I don't understand, my psychic channel doesn't repair his speech pattern how come your device does".
"We simply have better tech" Shrugged Kevin
"As for Ben, his watch projects his mind into the transformation brain" Explained Gwen as she had her arms crossed.
Ben was offered a room that he shared with Rook, and so were Gwen and Kevin who chose to stay in one room.
Watch Tower
The next day Ben arrived at the Watch Tower with the team, but he convinced them use allow him to use Portaler to bring them there.
The Justice League organized a meeting for them to discuss the matter at hand. The Alien Force Group was told by the League what they needed to know, they told them about the Light, the War World, New Gods, the Lantern Cores, the Reach, and the most difficult situation Metahuman trafficking.
In return, the group told them about Eon and his shenanigans, as well as a bit more of Albedo, but not too much
Batman continued to try to accuse the Alien Force group that they should be held accountable for allowing Eon to reach this universe and that their hero status should be revoked because they are reckless and unprofessional. Phantom Stranger tried to defend the Alien Force group in front of the Justice League meeting. he realized that the League (Batman mostly) would jeopardise the grand mission.
Batman doesn't thrust Ben at all, he suspects he held back a lot during the fight, as we as able to send Superman to the Moon with an uppercut from Waybig. He was fanatically asking Ben questions, which Ben barely answered some in his "way"
Which was testing Batman's patience, for some reason he thought Ben was highly trained in faking body language because Orphan confirmed he Ben was telling the truth all throughout.
Batman asked Phantom Stranger "You are hiding sensitive info on them, why?
To which declined "Vigilante know this, that's beyond the confirment of your reach. Throughout all the other versions of you, you are not a bright one." Phantom had a dead face saying this.
Flash (Barry) "Damn, he roasted you" Batman turned his head towards Flash he started to whistle and looked a
"Why should we even be mad we got our butts kicked by Ultraman! What's more awesome than that?. Shazam spoke with excitement. He was referring to the japanise TV series. All the League Members looked at him.
Ben looked surprised "He is talking about Waybig? Yeah is awesome"
"Waybig? What kind of name is that? It doesn't inspire much heroism" responded Wonder Woman.
"Come on, you have to admit 'Waybig' has a certain ring to it," Ben countered a hint of pride in his voice. "It's memorable, impactful... and definitely better than some of the other hero names out there. Justice League sounds corny as hell not gonna lie"
"Told ya" Responded the Flash with a smirk
Wonder Woman arched an eyebrow, considering Ben's words thoughtfully before responding with a wry smile. "Perhaps 'Waybig' has its charm in its own way," she conceded, her tone laced with a hint of amusement. "Though I must admit, it's quite different from the names we're accustomed to in the League. But if it suits you and gets the job done, then who am I to argue?"
"What's wrong with our names?" Asked Aquaman
"Dude seriously, Aquaman? That just sounds cringe" Ben looked shocked he would even ask what was wrong
"Don't dude me, children, you should respect royalty" Aquaman raised his tone
"I don't have the best track record when it comes with kings" The past encounters with the Forever Kings are a testament to that, or Zarkovia prince.
"It seems you don't have the best record with telling the truth either. You told us your weapon turns you into monsters, yet we checked security cameras after you fought the outsiders near the end you turned into forming one of my kind" the Martian Manhunter spoke to Ben rather worried.
"Well I can turn into Aliens, lots of cool ones" gestured Ben to his watch.
"Powerful ones, too powerful for your own good… Who's the strongest one?" Asked Batman, it seemed more so like he demanded an answer
"The one you guys just fought, "Waybig" is the strongest one" Gwen cut in for the safe, she figured since she appeared to be the smartest one she could convince the leaguers to not suspect more powerful aliens.
"How strong is he truly?" Demanded Batman again.
"Now you are asking too much" Gwen put her hands on her hips.
The Martian tried to enter their minds but Azmuth gave them new plumber badges that could resist mind attacks, months later after the whole Rooter situation. They decided to remain quiet on this, to not give their secret away shield away
I suspect you can turn into our kind as well " Said Hawkwoman looking rather curious.
"You guys are aliens? No way, you just look like humans"
"Yes we are, why it is it so hard to believe?" chuckled her with a smile and putting one of her arms on her hip.
Because aliens look like this! Ben turned into Swampfire, then he turned into Upgrade, then he turned into Bloxx, then into Buzzshock, then into Warph, then into Armordrillo.
"Okay we get it, you can turn into many things" Hawkwoman tried to stop him from continuously changing to stop him from blinding them with the transformation light. "But you still haven't answered our questions."
"Okay let me try" Ben turned into a Thanagarian, he also has an Axe made of Nth Metal. Which somewhat shocked the rest.
"No how could something replicate Nth Metal" Hawkman replied
"Kevin if you don't mind, so I don't have to change forms" Kevin listened to Ben and went and touched Hawkwoman's mace. He coated himself in the metal to her shock and was even able to make a mace on his hand.
"How is this possible? This can have serious repercussions on our species, our people live by selling our metal" Hawkman was clearly bothered by this.
"Why is it so precious? Asked Gwen curious
"Nth metal is said to be the strongest and purest metal in existence, firm enough to even resist Daxamites and Kryptonians' super strength under a yellow sun. The properties of Nth allow it to not only negate the effects of gravity but also the supernatural as well. It also allows for energy absorption and subsequent projection. It makes a bond with his user this includes abilities including physicality augmentation and regenerative capability" Explained Hawkman
"Pretty cool I say" Replied Ben while checking his axe.
"Yeah, pretty cool!" Kevin knew he hit the jackpot, imagine how much this would cost on the black market. He will be able to pay Gwen's studies, his mother's taxes, and his countless fines. He used his material manipulation to store inside his pockets pieces of it.
"How come your watch is able to replicate Nth Metal, could it do the same with my bracelets" asked Wonder Woman.
"Okay, the thing is that I annoyed the creator of the Omnitrix so much with complaints about one of my transformations. One who cannot breathe on land for long. and other he is defenseless"
Rook, was talking with the lanterns asking them if the League or Star Labs have Plumber authorization for technology. He wanted to find them and issue an asset takeover. They laughed at that. Gwen told Rook to stop cause he ain't convincing them.
"How come your partner has "Authorisation" to keep such an advanced device?" responded John Stuart while crossing his arms.
"Ben has the word of Azmuth, on top of that Magister Tennyson issued a first-class authorization from Magistralla herself in person and... " his dialogue was cut by Guy Gardner, who crept behind Gwen and put his left hand over her right shoulder.
"Hey, Foxhead babe! Ready to meet the sexiest man alive, I am an uncaged animal in bed" Guy spread his lats, flexed his other arm, and made a kissing face, Gwen mashed him against a wall with her Karate training. Kevin went to him and crushed his balls with a stomp.
Hal and Stuart both said in unison "OUCH" but were not surprised in the slightest. The rest of the League minus Batman and the female members also made the ouch expression.
Wonder Woman went to Gwen and grabbed her arm " I am sorry you had to experience our worst member's misogyny, I promise that behavior will not remain unpunished, and we will not judge you for your defense action"
"Thanks, that was very uncomfortable" Gwen replied
"Perhaps we are a bit too harsh towards you and your team, the thing is, you don't have any records. We just need to be careful" Wonder Woman tried to be more friendly
Kevin then touched the ring from Guy and absorbed the material from it giving him the ability to create constructs for the lanterns. This was even more shocking cause the League thought Kevin was the weakest of the team next to Rook. Kevin made a mouth shout around Gardner that surprisingly stayed there even after.
Green Arrow, with his trademark skepticism, couldn't help but voice his curiosity. "That watch of yours, Ben, Omnitrix you said" he started, his tone cautious. "It's not your typical accessory. What's the story behind it, why would this Azmuth create it?"
Ben chuckled, a knowing glint in his eye. "Ah, It's a bit of a long story, but let's just say it's he made it to make up for one big mistake that cost a planet, and someone important to him, that he wanted to earn back, that it's supposed to be the Ultimate Noah's ark of the entire Universe and more"
Green Arrow, leaned forward with interest. "And how exactly does it work?" she inquired, her voice tinged with curiosity.
Gwen, stepped in to provide a response. "The Omnitrix operates by allowing Ben to transform into various alien forms, each with their own unique abilities and strengths," she explained, shooting Ben a subtle glance to keep certain details under wraps.
Superman turned his head to Batman "It sounds like a powerful tool in the right hands." Perhaps, Black Lighting, you should consider allowing them to work with us, they seem to be unconventional heroes, (paused)... albeit very skilled ones! Superman ended it in a positive tone, with a smile.
Batman, ever the voice of reason, spoke up with a tone that brooked arguments. "We've been through a lot, faced countless threats," he began, his voice steady and resolute. " But this... this is different. We can't simply ignore the fact that we're dealing with something we don't fully understand, even if Ben is trustworthy"
Black Lighting finally spoke "We've always been a team built on trust and cooperation, But right now, we can't afford to not take chances. The light is still three steps ahead of us, heck this kid is different, he was able to beat us, and you don't want him by outside"
Batman responded directly to Ben "Until we can be certain of your intentions, Ben, we cannot fully trust you," he declared, his words echoing with the weight of their collective apprehension.
Black Lightning, fueled by a sense of urgency and the need for allies in the face of a formidable adversary, persisted in his plea for Ben to join forces with them. "We need all the help we can get," he insisted, his voice laced with determination. "Ben has proven himself in battle, and his abilities could be invaluable to us. We can't afford to let pride or mistrust stand in the way of defeating our common enemy."
Batman, however, remained steadfast in his stance, his unwavering resolve cutting through the tension like a sharp blade. "We cannot ignore the risks," he countered, his tone firm and resolute. "Allowing Ben to join us without fully understanding the extent of his powers and his motivations would be reckless. We need to proceed with caution, even if it means facing this threat alone."
Black Lightning's reminder to Batman that he currently held the leadership of the League added another layer of tension to the already charged atmosphere. "As the current leader of the Justice League," Black Lightning asserted, his voice tinged with authority, "I must stress the importance of reinforcement in moments of crisis. Hell this kid took down Klarion, Doctor Fate and Zatanna tried that for years, how couldn't he be an asset to us? From what I see is an aspiring leader with lots of experience, he has his carefree style sure, but I take that over your paranoia "
Batman, though respecting Black Lightning's position, stood his ground firmly. "Leadership carries responsibilities," he responded, his voice calm yet unwavering. "And one of those responsibilities is ensuring the safety and security of the team. Until we have a clear understanding of Ben's intentions and capabilities, I cannot in good conscience endorse his inclusion."
Superman, Steel, Wonder Woman, Black Canary, Green Arrow, Shazam, The Flash(both Barry and Jay), Red Tornado, Plastic Man and Hardware, and were among the first to raise their hands in favor of allowing Ben to join the League temporarily. As the vote continued, more members began to show their support, including Martian Manhunter, Hal and John, the Hawks, Zatanna, Rocket, Captain Atom, Atom and Icon. However, Batman remained steadfast in his opposition, his hand resolutely staying by his side.
The decision is final, Ben will be joining the League we will have to annoy….
Wait, I think is better if you guys let us work, without the public knowing of us, this way we can get banned by the UN, and can attack the Light Meta Human assets at Biablya and Markovia, since Eon took the Orphanage.
They managed to get the league to approve, this mission. which is surprising it seems they are desperate, they suggested they to get a proper super heroes suit, to which Gwen accepted to modify her Luckly Girl suit, and Kevin accepted too, he was more so convinced by Gwen. Rook used a standard Plumber Helmet. Ben just decided to use the life lock feature.
