Author notes: This is inspired by the fanfic, Huntik: Treasure of the Gods. Yes, I know that I made Lok a bit OP in this fanfic.

If and when I get to Season 2 of Huntik, I will probably try and make a powerbonded Gawain for Lok.

"Someone Talking"

'Someone Talking'

A fifteen year old Lok Lambert is currently in the jungle ruins of a crumbling ancient temple. His clothes are consistent with that of an adventurer, with his only light source being a flaming torch illuminating the temple.

"Huh, I guess the treasures up there!" He said with a smirk. Before taking out his whip and in a move similar to what the famous movie character Indiana Jones did, he captured a hanging branch above him with his whip that he then used to swing over to the temple.

As he was swinging through the air, he ended up setting off one of the traps, which unleashed dozens of arrows at him. This forced him to let go of a branch with his whip. Then, in mid-air, he once again grabbed a branch with his whip and headed towards the front of the temple. Using his whip, he dangled upside down while looking at the face that led into the temple. He was currently looking at an ancient scroll. After Lok finished looking at it, the scroll mysteriously crumbled into dust in his hands. Luckily, he had been able to get the information he needed from it. So he started pushing in the shapes on the stone face. He first started with the eye's circle, then pushed in the eyebrow, followed by the nose (which was in the shape of a triangle), and finally pressed in the rectangular mouth.

Unfortunately, as soon as the mouthpiece had been pushed in, it trapped Lok's hands in its rocky embrace. Suddenly, the temple began falling apart and because Lok was trapped by the head, it was getting sent at him. Weirdly enough, at the same time as the temple was collapsing, he began hearing a ringing sound. With that, he woke up from his dream.

Lok ended up waking up to find himself in his class where his teacher was finishing his lecture, which Lok had slept through most of. "And that is all you need to know for the final exam. Good luck everyone and see you tomorrow."

'Oh that's just great, I was supposed to be paying attention for the exam tomorrow. But instead I ended up falling asleep. Looks like I'll have to swallow my pride and ask one of my classmates for help.' Lok got his backpack and left the class when he saw the student he had in mind for whom he was going to ask for help had left. The classmate who he knew would have been paying the most attention to the Professor, a girl named Sophie Casterwill.

Lok saw Sophie in the courtyard, probably planning on going home to study for the exam. So he booked it to catch up to her, and when he got closer he began to speak hoping to get her attention. "Wait a second, your Sophie, correct?"

Sophie responded to his question both quickly and a bit snobbishly, "You would be correct. Now, what do you want?"

"Well I was hoping if you could help me study, because your known as the smartest girl in our class," Lok spoke rather happy.

"Look while I appreciate the compliment, Lok I believe? I don't think I can help you study for the exam," She answered his question however she didn't even taking her attention from the crossword puzzle that she had been working on.

Lok decided to try and get on her good side so he asked, "I take it your a fan of crossword puzzles."

"Yes, they're great in order for me to keep my mind sharp." She said once again not turning her attention from the puzzle.

"Well if i can beat it in five minutes or less, then will you help me prepare for the exam?" She just stared at him, in absolute befuddlement, before agreeing to the terms.

Less then two minutes later, and Lok was walking on the street with a pep in his step, while behind him Sophie was looking at the completed crossword puzzle incredulously, "How on earth were you able to complete it in less then two minutes"

"I guess I'm just that good with those sorts of things," he said a slight tint of pride coating his voice.

"A deal's a deal, and I'm a women of my word." Sophie said honorably. So Lok and her went to get Lok's textbooks from his apartment in order to begin studying for the exam.

They quickly arrived at Lok's apartment, and he apologized for the mess in his room saying he wasn't expecting any sort of guests.

"No wonder you solved the crossword that was giving me problems so fast, your a huge nerd" said Sophie teasingly, while picking up a puzzle and began fiddling with it. Probably to figure out how it worked.

"Hey, I'll have you know that a lot of this was stuff that had originally been my dads." Lok said rather lazily.

"Huh, what is that?" said Sophie noticing on a shelf above the couch, sat a cat like statue along with some other less eye catching things.

"Uh Sophie?" questioned Lok as he saw his quest heading over to look at the cat like statue. A memento in order to remember his father.

"I'm merely going to take a brief look at it," she said using the couch underneath to be able to reach the statue easier

"Sophie be careful with it, it's one of the things left to me by my dad." Lok said trying in vain to stop her from messing with the statue, which unfortunately crashed onto the floor and broke. On the ground where the statue had shattered, lay amongst the remains a journal as well as a Gaia-Titan amulet with two spikes that intertwined with one another, while it also had two spikes that

When Lok looked closer at the amulet he recognized it as one of his father's own titans, the moth like Titan Kipperin. Picking up the amulet, and due to how alike he and his father were to one another he had easily been able to bond with him as soon as it had been picked up by Lok.

"Im so sorry Lok. I didn't mean to break it, especially because it was something from your father." As she beant down next to Lok while also looking amongst the remains. She appeared to have recognized the symbol on his dads journal due to her loud gasp in surprise.

Lok put his new amulet away, while at the same time Sophie had begun to look through his dad's journal. She began talking to herself wondering about everything inside, "I've seen the image on the cover before, but where? Also the contents of this book is incredible. "

Lok had merely began looking at the contents of his dads journal over Sophie's shoulder and asked "Is this some sort of map to something, maybe like where my dad is?"

"Maybe but if it does I haven't gotten to that part yet, and anyways it would be smart if we get this book to a man called Dante Vale, he's an expert on these sorts of thi..." she didn't even finish saying what she had to say before the window behind them shattering sending pieces of broken glass at them. Luckily Sophie was quickly able to grab a nearby blanket and cover them with it to protect themselves.

Now that the incoming glass was taken care of, they both turned their attention to what broke in and realized that it was a man in a all black suit and wearing similar colored sunglasses.

The intruder quickly gave them his demands, "Alright kiddies, if you don't want to get hurt just hand over the book."

"Lok we've got to get out of here and fast!" exclaimed Sophie.

The man in order to appear more intimidating shouted "Augerfrost," so that his hands were coated in a bluish magical energy.

Suddenly the room became even more crowded as two others dressed similarly to the first one came in via the door, and the had their hands charged with magic. Neither teen even needed to say anything before they both escaped the room and shutting the door behind them, before racing away.

After abandoning Lok's Apartment in their attempt to escape the people chasing after them for the his dads journal. They were now on the streets of Venice running for their lives, when suddenly they heard a shout from behind them.

"Raypulse!"

Knowing what was sent their way they ducked to the ground while the spell kept moving and ended up slamming into the wall in front of them.

"We have to keep on running, and get that journal to Mr Vale," no doubt as exhausted as he currently felt. As they rand through a alley they got cornered by two suits. Lok got past at the last minute however Sophie would end up having to face them.

"Sophie." Lok said worried about what may happen to Sophie.

"Don't worry about me Lok I'm more then capable of taking care of myself, you just worry about getting the journal to the one I told you about!" she yelled back to him.

"But Sophie," said Lok still worried about his acquaintance/friend.

"Just run!" she yelled at him, and not wanting to earn her wrath Lok quickly took off. "I said that I can take care of myself and I more than meant it," she proclaimed as she threw the suit over her, then after throwing the one suit she proceeded to nail the other one in the head with a kick.

Lok immediately knew that the people that were currently chasing after him were the cannon fodder of the organization, Suites. They typically were given basic titans and spells, like Redcap, and Raypulse. He was at a major disadvantage because while the suits were unsurprisingly using their powers out in the open and didn't care about whatever collateral damage they caused. Lok was trying to not use any of his powers.

It's just good that they are only using spells, as Lok tried to lose those chasing him by going down an alleyway.

Unfortunately, he jinxed himself because he was stopped in the alleyway by two men, each carrying the same amulet.

"We're going to ask you this once. Hand over the book and turn yourself in." The suit said rather coldly.

While the suit behind him could only laugh menacingly.

Lok merely stood in place, preparing himself to start running.

"Well, I guess this is where we'll leave your body to decay once we're done. You could have saved us the trouble if you had just given us the journal, anyways…."

"Cut him down! Redcap!" The two said blood lust clear in their voice.

With a flash of bright red light that caused two beasts to appear next to the two suits that summoned them, Lok easily recognized one of them as one of the Organization's starting titans, along with the bug-like Mindrone. Pretty soon both conventional exits out of the alleyway were blocked, leaving Lok trapped.

However Lok quickly saw that the rooftops above where they currently were, were vacant of any obstacles. So Lok quickly infused his legs with magic causing them to glow blue and he jumped while saying Hyperatride to launch himself on to the nearby buildings roof.

One of the unnamed suits said, "Oh just great, I thought this was just an ordinary kid, not a seeker!"

Lok used their shock at him being a seeker to unleashed a dark fog to cover him as he made a break for it, while the suits and their titans dealt with trying to get out of the smoke. Just before the opponents got out of the smoke, Lok jumped to hide behind the garbage in one of the alleys. He was hoping that the suits would think he was still running in the same direction, he smiled to himself as he saw them jump over where he was hiding in the direction he thought they were gonna go after. After a couple minutes he left the safety of his hiding spot and went to get to higher ground. Using the Roof tops this time.

Cut to a different rooftop.

Sophie had landed on a rooftop with help from hyperstride, wondering to herself where she had seen the symbol that was on the journal. She suddenly got a flashback of the fire that took away her parents and brother. She realized that above her parents' fireplace was that same symbol.

Suddenly she noticed two seeker as well as two titans approaching her location. Sophie pulled out a amulet with a gem that was colored pearl, and put it around her neck getting ready to fight. She was aware that as soon as the suits arrived her good friend arrived.

On a Ledge

Lok sat on a high above building, looking through the contents of his dad's journal hoping his dad had left him some sort of clue as to where he went missing. However he couldn't tell, however he did find a page of interest that red "The secret of the amulet of will sleeps with the golem,"

Suddenly, he began to hear a rather high pitched, raspy, and from the sounds of it a friendly voice, which was definitely something Lok need right now, "What have you got their friend?"

Wondering where the voice had come from, he began looking around. While he didn't see where the voice had come from, he ended up seeing something worse.

"Oh great, can't I catch a break." Lok was jumping down to one of the roofs down below with the suits chasing right after him. After some time being chased Lok decided to jump over the canal. However just as soon as he had been able to leap over the canal and reach the other side he ended up falling backward into the murky depth, after a shot from one of the suits had damaged the ground beneath his feet. As Lok began to swim away to try and get away from the suits he could barely hear them talking from above the surface of the canal that Lok was using to swim away.

After a bit of swimming he surfaced near a bridge and swam over to the side of the canal to haul himself out of the water. After catching his breath he quickly checked his journal which unsurprisingly he found to be soaking wet. Deciding to assess the damages while at the same time mentally preparing himself for the worst.

"No, everything that my dad wrote." Lok said to himself rather solemnly.

With that he put his dad's now ruined journal in his book bag and began walking in hopes of finding Dante vale's house. However Lok felt the presence that something was currently watching him, so he prepared mentally for a fight as he was walking.

What Lok was unable to see was that watching him from above the roof was a rathe bug like humanoid creature with its face just being a large eye, a Mindrone. Anyways with Lok having his back turned to it, it had begun to repel down the side of the house towards Lok. As he turned a corner he was met by a female suit.

"Let's do this nice and easy kid. It's over!" The women said rather viciously.

"Yeah, but considering you ruined the only clue about my father, that's certainly no chance of happening."

This just served to piss of the suite even more to the point of her bringing out a rather rabid looking Titan with massive claws that it used to attack, a Redcap.

Lok merely smirked as her and her Titan began charging and he merely jumped onto the roof of the opposing building with hyperstride.

With that the game of cat and mouse has begun again. During the chase he had ended up jumping onto one of the passing gondolas in the canal, unfortunately when he jumped to shore with hyperstride he ended up sending the driver into the water. Luckily Lok said sorry and saw that the man was alright just wet. However when Lok diverted his attention from the swimming, he found himself face to face with a Mindrone. Thinking quickly he jumped over to one of the upper-story balconies. Unfortunately for him, a suite jumped from above along with a redcap, forcing Lok to quickly jump to the ground floor.

Seeing a phone booth he began looking through the phone book inside hoping to find where the legendary seeker, Dante Vale, currently resided. Because while yes he indeed knew that the man was stationed here he never learned where his base of operation was. Unfortunately in the time it had been taking him to look through the book the suits had ended up finding him. Luckily however he did end up finding the page and tearing it out of the book, before hyper striding it out of there which he was lucky he did. Because not a second or two later the suits had reduced that particular phone booth to literal scrap metal.

Lok briefly glanced at the torn out page of the book, he smiled when he learned that Dante's residence was only a mile away. Getting his second wind he tailed it to the safe house with the suit's and their titans chasing after him. Lok had been able to reach his desired location in know time, unfortunately it looked like Dante wasn't home at the current moment

Pretty soon after he realized that fact he got surrounded by the three suits, two redcaps, and a single Mindrone. However bad news for the suit, because Lok was throughly done with running from them so immediately jumping out of where they had him circled and at the same time taking out Gawain's amulet from under his shirt, while he pulled up his right long sleeve to reveal Arawn's Amulet wrapped securely around his wrist.

"Shoot with precision, Arawn the Hunter. Unleash your judgment, Gawain." Lok said upon landing, anger clear in his voice as he summoned his two humanoid titans to join him in this fight against the evil Organization.

"Boltflare!" Lok said blasting one of the suits in the gut and causing him to slam into the brick wall knocked out cold. Whilst he did that Lok's titans weren't standing idly by because one of the suits' redcaps was turned into a pin cushion courtesy of Arawn's Arrows, whilst the other one was impaled on Gawain's Spear through the heart. Understandably this caused the two Swara titans to be sent back to their amulets. This seemed to scare the crap out of the two remaining suits so they proceeded to boltflare the ground in front of them to make a sort of dust cloud so that they could get their unconscious teammate and ran with their tails between their legs. With the smoke kicked up the Mindrone that the suits had brought out tried to attack an unaware Lok, however it was met by an arrow courtesy of Arawn, while at the same time it was impaled in the gut by Gawain's spear, this immediately took down the bug like humanoid creature and sent it back to the retreating suit's amulet.

With that Lok began taking in deep breaths with the adrenaline that had been coursing through his body since the suits first smashed in his apartment window, finally leaving his body. Both Lok's titans looked at him in concern obviously both worried about him. Suddenly the seeker and two titans were startled by a noise from behind them.

"Impressive job. I can definitely see that you are the son of both Eathon and Sandra Lambert." Quickly turning around, the trio found behind them a well-built man who was a bit taller than six foot. He was wearing a tan trench coat over a long sleeve black shirt, in addition to white pants and aviator sunglasses. His hair was reddish brown colored. A bit anticlimactically, he had his hands full with groceries. However Lok immediately recognized the man in front of him, letting out a sigh of relief. This is due to the man in front of him being none other than the Foundation's number one Seeker himself: Dante Vale.

"I take it you had a long day; why don't you come inside." Dante spoke calmly, obviously trying to reassure Lok that he was a friend. Lok nodded in agreement and returned the two titans he had out back to their amulets.

Timeskip: 10 minutes later

After Lok was dry, Dante was allowed to look through the journal. While at the same time saying, "After reading through this, I can definitely understand why the organization was chasing you for it, even though it's damaged. There should be some way to restore it, though I'm not sure how."

"Yeah I got that, also it should be able to lead us to my dad. Unfortunately, the first clue that I obtained that could lead me to where he currently is and it's been damaged thanks to the organization." Lok replied a mixture of anger and defeat coating his voice.

Dante had a look of complete understanding about what Lok was going through, then began speaking again. "Well Lok looks like the two of us have a mission to solve."
