Severus was not happy. He had been sent across the pond to Sunnydale, California. He was tasked with investigating the Hellmouth, to see just how active it was.
"Careful there, mate, might find more than you bargained for, death is everywhere." A young blond stated as he leaned against a tree.
"You are?" Severus prompted.
"Name's Spike." Spike answered. "Why are you here?"
"To check the bloody Hellmouth's activity, why else?" Severus responded.
Spike studied the Englishman, "Do you trust me?"
"No." Severus answered.
"Good, this way then." Spike smirked as he led the man closer to the Hellmouth's opening.
