In the 2020s, SG-1 and SG-3 decide to convince the management of the Stargate Program to launch a new project after they find a sample of an unknown mineral abandoned on a planet.

But they're running out of time before Jonas' latest vision comes true - a vision of Sam's impending death. Sequel to "band-aids don't fix bullet holes."

"I sent you offworld three days ago." He held up the appropriate number of fingers. "Three!" She looked between each of them. "Well, you're 17 years too late, Jack." He suddenly felt a dooming sense that he was about to lose her before even having her.

SG-1 has to welcome a new member whose name is... Charlie O'Neill. In the meantime, they discover a new civilization that could lead them to new technology... But is everything as safe as it seems to be?

Ayiana was unable to save Sam and Jack from the virus she carried. Somehow, thanks to Kanan's screwing around, there are two Tok'ra symbiotes willing to heal the duo. However, the blending process may lead to more trouble than they ever expected.

What they didn't mention was that Captain Trevor Knight would be working with his bitter high school girlfriend, her telekinetic younger brother, and Dr. Jackson's snarky daughter to get home from 1928 Giza without changing history in the process. Sam and Jack's journey was extraordinary. Their love story began amidst military secrecy, hidden until they could be together openly. After marriage, Sam worked at Area 51. When she moved to D.C. to head a new Pentagon department, they adjusted again with the birth of their first child, Grace. Jack retired to support them. Their lives were filled with challenges and surprises.
