Chapter Four: The Impossible Case
Rubble's POV
I said, "Ok I'm up for it!". Blue then said, "Sweet! Can't wait for us to get to know each other more!". Honestly I felt the same. I honestly had the hardest time making friends. And with what happened in my last killing game, I had trouble trusting people. Rainer asked, "Hey Rubble, how is your pack like at home?". I confusingly said, "Huh?". Blue said, "Yeah, I'm also curious about your pack.". I looked down and said, "I-I don't have a pack. I'm an orphan.". Blue said, "O-Oh I didn't know.". Rainer said, "Y-Yeah I'm sorry for asking.". I said, "It's ok.". We spent the rest of the night talking until the three of us left Blue's dorm to go to sleep. I entered my dorm and went to sleep on my bed. The day has finally ended.
After the talk I had with Blue, Rainer and Flame last night, I couldn't stop thinking about the perfect team me and Blue made. The stupid wake up call woke me up. I wish I could use my rock type moves on the stupid speakers! I got out of my dorm to see Blue ringing Rainer's doorbell. I'm guessing Rainer doesn't want to come out of her dorm. It's understandable her younger brother got murdered yesterday. I'm guessing Flame is doing the same thing. I'm curious on how the minecraft mobs are doing. Their own friend murdered two people and got executed.
I walked up to Blue and then he noticed me. Blue said, "Hey bud! How'd you sleep!". I said, "Same as always. So what is happening here?". He said, "I'm waking up Rainer. She is really upset as you can tell.". Rubble said, "Yeah. Is she gonna come out?". He said, "I managed to convince her, yeah. I told her that Jolt would want her to be strong and protect Flame.". Which would most likely be true. Rainer came out and said, "Hey Blue, is it ok if I help Flame cook today?". Blue said, "Yeah! I can show you the fourth floor later!". Rainer said, "Thanks!" and then she noticed me. She said, "Hey Rubble! Nice to see you!". I said, "Hi Rainer, how are you doing?". She said, "Not too sure.". Rainer then said that she'll see us later and went to wake up Flame. Blue said, "Looks like it's just us. Wanna check out the next floor?". I said, "Sure!". We went to the staircase.
We got up to the fourth floor. The rooms that were closest to the staircase were the fourth floor bathrooms. Blue said, "Ready to see what's on the floor.". I nervously said, "I guess.". We walked towards one of the rooms. The first room we entered was the music hall. It had a big stage and rows of chairs. Of course the stage had a curtain too. There was also a piano on the stage. Red Yoshi and Zeke were in the music hall.
Red Yoshi said, "Now this is my type of room!". Zeke said, "We're not here to perform. We're here to see if there is anything useful for our escape!". I said, "Surprise, you're not trying to open the door to the next staircase.". Zeke said, "Ender told me not to and said to stick with the actor here.". Red Yoshi went to the piano and sat on the seat. Blue said, "Man Sylvia would love this room.". I asked Blue, "Who's Sylvia?". Blue said, "Oh! Sylvia is my sister.". I had no idea that he had a sister. Red Yoshi said, "Maybe I can learn how to play this grand instrument!". Zeke facepalmed. Then Zeke said, "There's not much here as you can see. Maybe a different room has something.". Blue said, "Ok. See you guys later!". We left the music hall.
We walked to the closest door. We tried to enter but the door was locked. Blue said, "Huh? Why is this door locked?". I said, "I believe it's a restricted room that Monokuma doesn't want anyone in.". Blue asked, "So this room could possibly help us if we get in?". I said, "Yeah but it could also cause our deaths if we get caught breaking in. Or at least try to.". Blue said, "True. we should keep this room in mind.". I agreed with his statement. We left the door and went to the next room.
We found Ender and Carrie standing in front of two doors but only looking at one of them. We walk towards them. Carrie asked, "Do we enter? It has Monokuma's face on it!". Ender said, "Yeah, it might have something in it.". I said, "It'll be locked. That room is most likely the headmaster's office.". Ender, "Oh hey Blue and Rubble. So how do you know this could be Monokuma's off-". He then remembered Monokuma's face on the door. Ender continued, "Oh yeah, I see now.". Blue asked, "What is the room next to the headmaster's office?". Carrie said, "It's the Faculty Office. We went in and it's basically a bunch of desks with a bunch of chairs. It's like working for an office building.".
Blue said, "I guess that leaves one room that isn't normal classrooms.". Carrie said, "Are you talking about the room that Kamek is in?". Blue said, "Yeah (I believe), c'mon Rubble let's check it out. And by the way, I hope you guys are doing well after yesterday.". Carrie said, "Still trying to digest everything.". Ender said, "Yeah, later guys.". We left them and went towards the last room.
The last room was the chemistry lab. We entered the chemistry lab and saw Kamek in it. There were multiple cabinets, a fridge, shelves, a desk and a microscope on it. There were also chemicals too. We went up to Kamek and said, "Hey Kamek!". Kamek said, "Oh hey.". Blue said, "What's up?". Kamek said, "I was thinking that we should lock away these chemicals. Especially since cabinet C chemicals are way more dangerous than the other chemicals in cabinets A and B.". I said, "I agree with that. Chemicals can do a lot of damage to someone.". Kamek closed the cabinet so he could lock it later. Blue asked, "Are there any more things here?". Kamek said, "No, this is it. But don't tell anyone else about these chemicals. We don't want anyone to use these for murder.". Blue said, "Yeah, I agree with that!".
Then the ding dong bing bong sound came. Monokuma said through the speakers, "It's time to reveal the next motive! Please meet in the dining hall!". Blue said, "The dining hall? Why isn't the gym like always?". I said, "The reason is most likely something to be worried about!". Kamek said, "The kid might be correct. Especially since he has more experience with Monokuma than everyone else.". The three of us went to the staircase. The stupid motives that the stupid yin-yang bear gives always gives people a reason to kill, it sadly always works! The 11 of us must find a way to make sure the motive doesn't get to us!
We made it to the dining room. The three of us were the last ones to arrive. Makes sense since the chemistry lab was the room furthest from the staircase to the third floor. I'm guessing that the siblings were the first ones there because they were the closest with them working on breakfast in the kitchen. We were all worried about what was about to be announced. Then gas filled the air in the room. We were all coughing. Flame said, "Not this again!". Everything went black.
As I opened my eyes, I saw the most horrible site. Monokuma standing in front of the tables. I then noticed that we were no longer standing. He must have placed us in the chairs like we were waiting for breakfast. I yelled,"WHAT DID YOU DO TO US?!". My yelling must've woken everyone up. Flame said, "UGH, please stop with the yelling!". Ender asked, "W-What happened? Why was I sleeping?". Ender then realized and said, "Monokuma knocked us out again, did he?". Kamek said, "He must've done something to us, I don't remember sitting down before being knocked out.".
I said, "That's why I was yelling. I know he did something! He wouldn't knock us out with gas for no reason!". Monokuma said, "Correct! I had to knock you all out for the motive!". Carrie yelled, "IS THERE A DEADLY BOMB INSIDE OF US?!". Zeke said, "Isn't there already a bomb inside of you Carrie?". Carrie said, "Oh yeah!". Monokuma said, "No that isn't the case. The motive has something to do with family!". The looks on everyone became even more worried and concerned. Tails nervously asked, "W-What do you mean?". Monokuma said, "We had altered your heads that your dreams and thoughts will only be about all the good times you had with your family and friends!".
Rainer nervously said, "Y-You altered o-our h-heads!". Zeke yelled, "WHAT IN THE WORLD IS WRONG WITH YOU?!". Monokuma said, "Nothing! Anyways,-". Monokuma was interrupted by Ender asking, "How will these memories of our friends and families get us to kill someone?". I said, "It'll make us miss them and want to see them again no matter what. There was a motive similar to this in my last game.". Sadly and luckily this motive isn't gonna affect me. Monokuma said, "The Ultimate Rock Expert is correct again! Anyways, enjoy the motive! Catch you all later!". He jumped and disappeared through the floor again.
Flame said, "I guess since everyone is here, let's eat.". He and Rainer went to the kitchen to get the food. Flame cooked scrambled eggs for today's breakfast. After everyone got a plate, we all started talking. Sonic asked, "Rainer and Flame are you two doing ok?". Ender said, "Yeah, I'm deeply sorry that one of my friends is the reason why Jolt isn't here anymore.". Rainer said, "You don't need to be sorry, it's not your fault.". Flame said, "Y-Yeah, it wasn't. For the first question, We're not sure if we're ok.". Rainer asked, "How do you guys feel about Skylar's action?".
Carrie said, "Betrayed and disappointed.". Ender said, "Yeah, that's basically how me and Carrie are feeling.". Ender then looked at me and said, "Hey Rubble, I'm honestly impressed by how you handled and carried the last trial.". I said, "H-Huh?". Kamek said, "Yeah if it wasn't for you, we'd never have figured out the truth.". I said, "It was mostly Blue who gathered and pieced everything together.". Blue said, "You know that is not true bud. You did as much as me, most likely more!".
We had breakfast and after everyone went to do their own thing. Me and Blue went to the art room on the third floor. When we arrived, Blue went to get supplies. I asked, "Why are we here again?". He said, "To have fun and draw!". I asked, "Aren't you a little too old for drawing?". He said, "You're never too old to draw! Plus it's a nice activity to do with friends!". I decided to go along with it. I have never really drawn before. I mostly read books, even though I lied how I knew my stuff about murder cases I still read books like murder mysteries.
Blue looked at my drawing and said, "That's a pretty nice drawing.". I drew the outside and it isn't sloppy. I said, "T-Thanks I guess.". Blue asked, "What was the inspiration?". I said, "Freedom. I was trapped and forced into a killing game twice now and freedom is the only thing I've been wanting since the start.". Blue put his ribbon on my shoulder and said, "I promise you, we will get our freedom and we'll get to live our lives!". I smiled with tears forming in my eyes and said, "Thanks Blue, I really appreciate it. C-Can I see your drawing?". He giggled and said, "Of course!". His drawing was him, an eevee, and all eight non shiny eeveelutions.
I asked, "I can see you and the sibling trio but who are these pokemon?". Blue said, "My pack. We're a pack of ten, and I'm the latest addition to the pack. I joined them because my sister wanted me to be in her pack.". I asked, "So the sylveon in your drawing is your sister?". He nodded his head yes. I can't believe how big his pack is. It looks nice to be in a pack like that. Also Blue drew them really well. It looks like a photo that was taken by someone else. We spent 2 hours drawing.
After spending some time drawing we left the art room. Sonic ran up to us, he was quick as lightning or maybe even faster. Blue said, "Hey, Sonic what's up?". Sonic said, "Nothing much. I was just finding everyone! Including you two!". I asked, "Really? Why?". Sonic said, "Red Yoshi, Tails and Me thought of an idea to get our minds off the killing game and the motive.". Blue said, "Last time we did that, two murders happened by someone who we trusted.". Sonic said, "I know but this time it'll be different! I'll be on security! Anyway the event is a talent show!". I said, "A talent show? I have never been to one before.". Blue said, "I'll tell you more about them later. So is it gonna take place at the music hall?".
Sonic said, "Yes! I even asked Flame to make snacks for it! He said yes, but he said it really depressed though.". Blue said, "I can check in on him. When is the talent show?". Sonic said, "Tomorrow!". Blue said, "Ok, see you later and let me know if you need my help setting up!". Sonic said "Ok!" and ran off. Blue said, "I'm gonna check in on Flame.". I asked, "Can I join?". Blue said, "Sure!". We went to look for Flame.
We first went to Flame's dorm and rang the doorbell. There was no answer, so we tried again. There was still no answer. So we went to look somewhere else. We rang Rainer's doorbell and there wasn't an answer. We did it again and there wasn't an answer. So we checked the kitchen and he was there. He was making an egg and cheese sandwich probably for his lunch. Blue walked to him. He said, "Hey man.". Flame said, "O-Oh, hey Blue and Rubble. How are you both?". Blue said, "We're good but how are you doing?". Flame said, "(sigh) I don't know.". I said, "It's ok to miss someone that you lost because of this game.". Flame said, "It's just Jolt has been there for me for my whole life! We've been best friends since I was born! I don't know what to do without him!".
I said, "Be there for Rainer.". He said, "H-Huh?". Blue said, "He's right! Jolt would want you to be there for Rainer. He wants you to stay strong and protect her.". I said, "She is doing the same for you. Also Jolt will always be with you!". Flame smiled and said, "You're right, Rainer has been there for me for my whole life! I have to be there for her too! Thank you both, I needed this!". Blue said, "No problem!". Flame asked, "Want an egg and cheese sandwich?". The both of us said sure and he went to cook.
We were waiting in the dining hall. Blue turned to me and said, "You did a good job comforting him.". I said, "Well I understand how he feels. I lost a real close friend to this game as well.". Blue said, "I'm sorry to hear that.". I said, "Yeah, I don't want to talk about it anymore.". I looked towards Blue and he looked so concerned. I asked, "Is everything ok?". Blue said, "Y-Yeah, I can't stop thinking of Sylvia because of this stupid motive!". I asked, "Would talking about her help you feel better?". Blue said, "Yeah it might.".
He was telling me about his sister and their relationship. Apparently their parents were too busy to take care of them. So Blue had to take care of him and his little sister himself. That must be the reason why he's the Ultimate Care-Taker. Because of Blue, his sister Sylvia wanted to be just like him with an eevee of her own. So she takes care of an abandoned eevee and the eevee loves Sylvia like her own mother. Sylvia even adopted the eevee. Sounds like Blue and Sylvia are a sibling duo that'll never break apart. He also told me how protective sylveons can be. I'm scared to mess with a protective sylveon now.
Blue said, "Thanks for listening. Talking about it really helped.". I smiled and Flame came with the sandwiches. We ate and spent two more hours talking. I felt like I bonded with Flame and Blue today. I said, "I'm gonna go to the library.". Blue asked me, "Are you sure you're ok to be by yourself?". I said, "I'm a tough kid. I'm not worried.". Blue said, "Ok bud, be careful.". I waved them goodbye and went upstairs.
When I walked in the library, I found Ender, Zeke and Carrie hanging out at a table. Zeke asked, "Why are we hanging out at the library again?". Ender said, "I'm looking for anything in this library that can help us.". Zeke asked, "Didn't you already look in the library before?". Ender said, "There's still books in the archive I've haven't read yet.". Carrie said, "The archive books are creepy and concerning.". I walked up to them and said, "I can agree with that.".
They turned to me. I must have surprised them. Ender said, "Hey Rubble. Didn't notice you entering.". I said, "Hey. Ender, I actually wanted to tell you something.". Ender said, "Yeah?". I said, "Hanging out with Blue has changed me in a way. I think that you deserve a second chance, so I forgive you for everything.". Ender said, "Thank you Rubble. Hopefully we can understand each other better.". Carrie asked, "Wanna join us?". I said, "Sure.". I took a book from the archive and sat down. I spent an hour or two hanging out. I feel like I bonded with the three of them.
After I hung out with them, I didn't do much. I took a walk around the school for an hour. Then it was dinner time. We had meatball subs for dinner. During dinner people were talking about escaping but no one had any ideas that could work. After dinner Flame, Blue and Rainer were about to head to the pool. They invited me and I accepted. Flame was too scared to get in the water. Rainer said that he has a phobia of water. So he just sat on the sideline to talk with us. We were talking for a little while. Then Blue decided to share something with us.
Blue said, "Hey since it's just us, I want to share something.". Rainer asked, "What is it?". He said, "I wanted to wait till everything was less tense but I don't think that'll come. I found a book in the library that is concerning.". Flame asked, "W-What is it about?". What Blue said answered a question I had for a while. He said, "It was a book about Pokemon anatomy. It had every eeveelution in it. It also had rockruffs in it.". The looks on Rainer and Flame were concerned faces. Flame said, "Our whole pack!". Rainer asked, "Where is this book?!". Blue said, "I hid it in my dorm.". I said, "That makes sense. I found an anatomy book on everyone else but us Pokemon. I was curious about that.". Rainer said, "Thanks for letting us know. Maybe I can take a look at the book later.". After swimming and Blue's confession, we went to hang out in the rec room until nighttime (10 pm). When nighttime came we said goodnight to each other and headed to our dorms. I went into my bed and ended the day.
I woke up at 6:50 am and I got ready for the day. I got out and I saw Flame in front of Rainer's dorm. His dorm was right across from Rainer's, so it wasn't that surprising. He was holding something but I couldn't tell. I walked up to him and I asked, "Hey Flame, good morning.". I must've scared him because I saw him jump. And when he turned around he had a sigh of relief. He said, "Thank god it's just you Rubble! Heh good morning.". I asked, "What is behind your back?". He said, "It's just something I found on the floor. It's not important. Anyway, isn't it too early for a kid like you to be awake?". I said, "I just wanted to wake up early today.".
He went to his dorm to put that thing away. He's acting really suspicious but I don't think he'll do anything wrong, I hope! He came back out and asked me, "Since you're awake, wanna help me with breakfast?". I accepted the offer and we went to the kitchen. Luckily at the time we arrived it was 7:00 am. The morning announcement woke everyone up. So people were gonna come to the dining room soon. I could hear people talk in the dining room while we were cooking breakfast. Blue and Rainer came in looking for me and found me helping Flame. I think he was proud of me for socializing more. We were making cinnamon rolls for today's breakfast.
When we served them to everyone, I noticed that Kamek looked tense. He usually isn't tense, so I knew something was up. He also sat where I used to sit. I knew I had to talk about this with Blue to see what he thinks about it. Sonic started the conversation by saying, "So who's gonna be in the talent show?". Zeke said, "Not me, I think that it's a stupid idea.". Rainer said, "I was thinking of using my water type moves.". I said, "I'm just gonna watch the show.". Carrie excitedly said, "OOOOOOH, I can use my building skills!".
After we ate, Sonic, Tails, Red Yoshi, and Rainer went to set things up. Flame started making snacks for the event. For some reason Flame looks like he has something on his mind. I think it might just be the motive. Or it could be about the thing he found, I'll look into that later. Right now Kamek is on my mind. He never looked tense before. Something is up and that is what I'm gonna find out.
After everyone left the dining room, I pulled Blue to the side to talk with him. I brought him to the storage room. Blue asked, "Is something up bud?". I asked, "Yeah, did you notice how Kamek looked?". Blue said, "So I wasn't the only one. I'm curious why he looked tense too.". I asked, "What should we do?". Blue said, "We need to talk with him. Find out why he's so tense. Maybe it's the motive.". I said, "Or something worse!". We walked out of the storage room.
I asked as we were walking, "So where do you think he is?". Blue said, "Possibly in his dorm, library, or one of the labs.". We decided to check the library first. We wanted to check his dorm last since we can't enter his dorm with his handbook. We went to the library and found Ender and Carrie reading. Kamek wasn't there, so we went to the physics lab. No one was there, so we went to the chemistry lab. No one was there as well, so we went downstairs to the dorm hallway. We walked through the hallway until we reached Kamek's dorm.
Blue rang the doorbell and Kamek asked, "Who is there?". Blue said, "Blue and Rubble. We came here to see if you're ok-". He interrupted Blue by opening his door and demanded, "Blue can you come in my dorm for a little?". Me and Blue looked at each other with a concerned face. Blue asked Kamek, "Can Rubble come in too?". Kamek said, "I want to talk to only you in private.". Blue then said, "Ok, I'll catch up to you Bud-". Kamek then pulled Blue into his dorm and locked the door. I bet people would say that I could listen in on their conversion but I can't. Since the dorms are sound proof, no sound can come out.
With Kamek forcing Blue into his room for who knows for what reason, I figured on trying to make more friends. Blue told me that I should make friends with everyone else. I then remember that around half of us are helping with the talent show. So I figured I'd go help out too. So I went upstairs to the music hall.
When I entered I saw Rainer, Red Yoshi, Tails, and Sonic getting ready for tonight. I walked up to Red Yoshi who was reading some sheets of paper. I said, "Hey Red Yoshi what is up?". Red Yoshi said, "I'm just having some trouble.". I asked, "With what?". He said, "I need to rehearse and I would like to have someone's help.". I said, "I-I can help.". Red Yoshi lowered down his paper and excitedly said, "Really?! Thank you!". We spent at least two hours rehearsing Red Yoshi's act. The script Red Yoshi gave me was something he wrote himself. He said, "It's about a detective searching to find his missing son, who was kidnapped!". He did a good job writing it. He really knows his stuff about theater and plays.
Red Yoshi said, "You did a good job helping me rehearse Rubble!". I said, "Uh thanks. Hey how are you gonna do this with just you?". Red Yoshi said, "Hm, you have a good point. Hey wanna join me for the show?". I asked, "ME? Why do you want me to join you?". He said, "You did a good job with helping me rehearse. I think you'll be great!". I said, "I guess I can join-". Red Yoshi said, "AWESOME! I'm gonna do my own thing before the show. See you later tonight!". He left the music hall. I felt like I bonded with Red Yoshi today. I feel like I should spend some time practicing my lines. So I'm gonna go to my dorm to practice. I exited the music hall.
It feels weird socializing again. Last time I socialized with people was when I was in my first killing game. After losing my closest friends by death or betrayal, it was hard for me to trust people again. I was walking through the hallway and I saw Blue coming out of Kamek's dorm. He looked a little tense now. Blue said, "Remember our deal, give it a few days and you'll see that I'm right.". Kamek said, "I'm still not sure but I'll look into it.". That part of the conversation caught my attention a little. What are those talking about? What deal did those two make? Why does Blue look tense now? Did Kamek tell Blue the reason why he's tense and that got Blue tense?
I felt like I should see what is troubling Blue. So I went up to him. When he noticed me, he jumped a little. He said, "Oh, Rubble! Didn't see you there bud! What's up bud?". I confusiony asked, "A-Are you ok? You look just as tense as Kamek.". He said, "I-It's nothing to worry about!". By the look on his face, I could tell he was lying. He then asked, "What are you up to?". I said, "I joined Red Yoshi for his talent show act and I was gonna practice for a little in my dorm.". He then said, "That's cool! Mind if I help you practice?". I said, "S-Sure.". We headed for my dorm. We spent a good amount of time practicing for the talent show tonight. Blue said that he wasn't gonna perform. He just wants to watch.
A few hours have now gone by and it's time for the talent show. Red Yoshi/me, Rainer, Tails, and Carrie were performing in the talent show. Me and Red Yoshi were going last since Red Yoshi wanted to 'save the best for last'. Carrie went first and her talent was building. She built a realistic and life size statue of herself and then she asked for a volunteer. Blue volunteered and she built a realistic and life size statue of him too. Her talent was honestly impressive, but where did she get the blocks she used for the statues?
The second person who went up on stage was Rainer. She used her water type moves to entertain everyone. When she started Ender teleported away. The moves she did looked so lovely. She used aqua ring, hydro pump and water gun. She put on a water show that I'm sure no one will forget. She was like a fountain when she used water gun straight up. She used aqua ring to make a ring of water around her while she was using water gun. That must've taken a lot of energy from her. She then used hydro pump for a powerful finale. She was like a powerful hose pointing straight up. When she stopped, a rainbow temporarily appeared. She was also out of breath and then collapsed.
Third and second to last to go up was Tails. His talent was his engineering skills. He brought some materials and tools. He spent some time making something. He finished and he made a remote control plane. He also made an obstacle course for the plane. Three hoops, three poles and then he planned to toss two apples in the air for some reason. The plane made it through the hoops pretty easy. It also got past the poles with no trouble at all. Then Tails threw the apples and pressed a button on the control. The plane started shooting tiny ball-like objects at the apples causing them to miss the plane. When he landed the plane, he took a bow. Flame got up and said that he had to go to the kitchen. Sonic let him through the door. Sonic is really serious about being security. He never left the entrance to the music hall.
It was mine and Red Yoshi's turn. We were also the last act too. I was a little nervous but I faced scarier things so doing this isn't a problem. We went up on stage and started to perform. Red Yoshi played the detective of course and I was the culprit who was acting as a victim. We spent who knows how long performing. Everyone was into the story. Red Yoshi is a good play writer. When we were done, everyone clapped. They seemed to enjoy our act. After we were done, we all talked for a little but when it hit 9:50 pm, we went to our dorms for bedtime. I know we don't have to be in sleep at nighttime but it feels safer that way. I went to bed and ended the day. I wonder what happened to Flame last night? He never returned to the talent show. He probably wanted to prepare something for breakfast this morning.
The stupid wake up call woke me up. I really hate that wake up call! I walked out of my dorm and I saw Blue ringing Flame's doorbell. He said, "Hey Flame! Rainer is looking for you, are you in there?". He waited for a minute, there was no answer. He said, "She's right, he's not in the kitchen or his dorm.". I walked up to him and asked, "H-Hey Blue what's going on?". He said with concern in his voice, "Flame is missing. Rainer and I can't find him anywhere!". I asked, "Has anyone seen him?". Blue said, "We asked everyone who was already awake, they all said the last time they saw him was during the talent show last night.".
I said, "Maybe he might be exploring the other floors? We should check them!". He agreed and we went to the staircase. We wanted to check the fourth floor first since he never really checked the floor at all. Plus that was the floor he was seen last. We checked the music hall first. There was no one there. So we checked the chemistry lab next. We didn't check the other rooms since they were locked or he's not likely to be in there. When we opened the chemistry lab door, our hearts stopped. The lab was a mess, broken glass on the floor, the cabinet that was supposed to be locked was opened, and there was a dead body!
